Abstract

Based on stakeholder and social exchange theory, this study examined a model of the relationship between stakeholder awareness, perception of impact (environmental, economic, and socio-cultural), and attitude toward ecotourism development in Mount Rinjani National Park (MRNP). The model was tested using a sample of 157 stakeholders. Data were collected by surveying and analyzing using the partial least squares. The results showed that only perception of the economic impacts of ecotourism partially mediated the relationship between awareness and attitude toward ecotourism development. From the perspective of stakeholder theory, the perceived impacts are heterogeneous. These differences will determine their attitude toward the level of support and participation. From the perspective of social exchange theory, the study showed that attitude toward ecotourism development is directly influenced by awareness of ecotourism and the perception of economic impact. The stakeholders on MRNT have a more compromising attitude toward ecotourism development to the socio-cultural and environmental impacts.

Abstract

Based on the report on the results of the community satisfaction survey in 2020, it is known that the community is still not satisfied with the services provided by the employees of Raja Ahmad Tabib Hospital. Among them is the attitude of employees who are not friendly, don't smile, and don't care. Several studies in the field of organizational justice show that perceptions of fairness have an important influence on organizational commitment, job satisfaction, intention to leave work, organizational behavior, and performance. It is recognized that considerations of fairness can cause emotional responses, especially in times of injustice. Unsatisfactory service can be suspected because employees do not get justice in the organization which affects their performance in providing services. The population in this study were employees and sampling was carried out purposively (purposive sampling). The results showed that distributive justice had no effect on employee motivation with a value of 0.104 > 0.05, procedural justice had an effect on employee motivation with a value of 0.003 <0.05, and interactional justice had an effect on work motivation with a value of 0.000 <0.05. In addition, work motivation is not able to mediate the relationship between distributive justice and job satisfaction. Meanwhile, work motivation can mediate the relationship between procedural and interactional justice on the job satisfaction of Raja Ahmad Tabib Hospital employees.Abstrak dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Abstract

Along with the behaviour changes toward digitalisation in the pandemic, reliable data to manage tourism marketing in Indonesia is needed. The study objectives are to go into detail on the application of big data and identify what kind of data is necessary for tourism marketing based on the previous research. Most studies about big data on tourism marketing come from overseas, with only a few from Indonesian authors. Questions were raised on what big data is used in tourism marketing and what data is needed, mainly for Indonesia. The use of big data and the kind of data for the benefit of tourism marketing in this study has yet to be discovered. The study adopted SLR with the PRISMA approach and continued with bibliometric analysis using VOS Viewers based on keywords and co-occurrence. Scopus is a database source, and 105 articles published from 2002 to 2022 are found. There are six clusters from plotting extensive data application networks. Two forms of big data can be gained to foresee tourism marketing in post-pandemic recovery. The utilisation cluster is the consumer behaviour research, technology operation, social media, future prediction based on network sentiment analysis, and innovation in smart tourism. Data from the tourism industry and non-tourism sector can be utilised. The study implied combining both the tourism and non-tourism sectors as integrated big data in tourism marketing for decision-making in the future. Keywords— big data; marketing; non-tourism; tourism; utilization

Abstract

This article proposes and tests a ‘shorter version of the instrument for public service motivation based on Perry’s (1996) exploratory 24-item scale for Indonesia civil servants in five big cities, inter alia, Jakarta, Surabaya, Semarang, Makassar, and Medan. Of 1200 respondents, 904 completed the questionnaire, and 800 questionnaires were determined to be feasible for further analysis. Thus, the response rate was 88.50% the results indicated support for the shortened scale of Perry’s original work on investigating the Public Service Motivation (PSM) of Indonesia civil servants in sample cities. The 10-item scale was based on four factors PSM, inter alia Attraction to Policy Making (APM), Commitment to the Public Interest (CPI), Compassion (COM), Self-Sacrifice (SS). Results also showed that, generally PSM for civil servant with basic positions in city government offices, in five cities tends to vary. The research results are expected to enhance our understanding about the importance of factors that influence the motivation of civil servants in providing public services to the general public. However, the limitation of the study lies in the small sample which is drawn from only five large cities in Indonesia.

Abstract

Through this research, researchers highlighted the role of the marketing mix in influencing customer loyalty in business-to-business (B2B) companies. Researchers also highlighted the role of purchase decisions as a mediator between marketing mix and customer loyalty. From the conceptual perspective, marketing mix is generally considered more appropriate for B2C type companies, however, a number of studies show that marketing mix can also be applied as a marketing strategy for B2B but in a more complex context. In terms of methodology, this research approach is quantitative, and uses Partial Least Square analysis techniques. The analysis units involved are individuals who have been customers of B2B companies for at least 3 years and are spread across Jabodetabek. Due to limited B2B customers, the survey distribution technique was carried out using the snowball sampling method. The distribution of questionnaires was carried out for six months from September 2023-February 2024. The results obtained show that purchasing decisions cannot mediate between marketing mix and customer loyalty, however marketing mix can influence customer loyalty in B2B type companies. The managerial implication of the results of this research is that B2B companies can implement a marketing mix to encourage customer loyalty.
