Abstract

In Indonesian seas, shipping signs' poor functionality might make it difficult for ships to navigate. Shipping accidents are more likely as a result, particularly when visibility is poor, like at night or in inclement weather. Analyzing the impact of shipping sign performance level and channel depth on the number of ship visits, the impact of shipping sign performance level, channel depth, and ship visitation on integrated port time, and the impact of shipping sign performance level and channel depth on integrated port time with the number of ship visits as a moderating variable are the goals of this study. The research methodology employed in this study is quantitative. A judgment sampling approach combined with a non-probability sampling technique was chosen by the researchers for this investigation. SPSS software was utilized by the researchers. The findings of the analysis indicate that both the channel depth and the level of performance of shipping signs have an impact on integrated port time. Additionally, the variable number of ship visits can moderate the relationship between the channel depth and integrated port time as well as the level of performance of shipping signs

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and evaluate the implementation of the e-procurement system in the operations of PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PT PTK) vessels, as well as the role of human resources (HR) in optimizing the application of this system. The research also explores the factors that influence the success of e-procurement implementation, both from the internal side of the company, such as good management and HR management, and from the external side, including supporting technological infrastructure and policies. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and NVivo 12 software for data analysis. The research duration was 3 (three) months through interviews with informants consisting of the Procurement Manager, ICT Manager, Vessel Procurement and Operations Coordinator, SmartGEP Manager, and six HR employees involved in the implementation and management of the e-procurement system, totaling 10 participants, this research delves into the various challenges and solutions in implementing e-procurement in the vessel operations of PT PTK. The analysis results show that the implementation of e-procurement has increased efficiency, transparency, and accountability in the procurement of goods and services. However, there are still challenges related to HR adaptation and technological infrastructure. This research contributes to the development of e-procurement theory, particularly in the maritime industry context, and provides practical recommendations to enhance HR capacity in managing a more effective and sustainable e-procurement system.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of green recruitment and employee empowerment on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with organizational culture serving as a mediating variable in companies in Indonesia. This research is grounded in Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) theory and organizational culture theory, which emphasize that green recruitment as an entry point and employee empowerment as a behavioral mechanism can strengthen the internalization of sustainability values within organizations. Organizational culture is viewed as a crucial bridge linking green HR policies to employees’ pro-environmental behavior and the company’s SDG achievements. The study employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) based on responses from 100 participants representing various company sectors in Indonesia that published Sustainability Reports for the 2023–2024 period. The research instrument was developed by adapting indicators from the GHRM, empowerment, organizational culture, and SDG literature. Validity, reliability, and goodness-of-fit tests were conducted to ensure the quality of the model. The findings reveal that green recruitment and employee empowerment significantly influence green organizational culture, while employee empowerment has the strongest direct effect on SDG achievement. Organizational culture is proven to mediate the relationship between green recruitment and employee empowerment and the achievement of SDGs. Practically, these findings highlight that corporate success in supporting the SDGs depends not only on administrative compliance, such as sustainability reporting, but also on transforming norms, values, and daily decision-making at the employee level. This study contributes practical insights for developing HR metrics directly linked to SDG indicators and supports policy transformation toward a green economy in Indonesia.
