Abstract

This study’s finding is religious polarization confirming the Identity of Lombok Islamic Societies emerging since before Indonesia’s independence by taking the religious movement form. Mainstream religious movement in Lombok is Sunni one and not all of them are under organizational flag, but generally based on educational institution. Minority non-sunni movement brought an effect and wahabi movement pattern emphasizing on “the differentiation” of religious practice, so that it is not ideological wrestling but identity contestation that occurs. Then, religiosity identity of Lombok Islamic societies is material-symbolic and accommodative in nature. The accommodative religious practice occurs in tasawwuf practices and encounters acculturation as the identity of Lombok Muslim. Islamic religious Identity in Lombok Sunni has been existing long before the development of religious organization and educational institution, so that the Sasak Islamic Identity encountered acculturation as the result of natural constructi on of Lombok Islamic societies. Organizational diversity, movement, and identity solidification can be a wealth as long as it is not debated in the public space

Abstract

Mastery of speaking skills (maharah kalam) is a crucial component in Arabic language learning, particularly at MA Plus Ponpes Abu Hurairah Mataram. However, many students still face challenges in achieving effective oral proficiency. This study aims to examine the role of Arabic language teachers in enhancing students’ speaking skills and to identify the strategies they employ to support this goal. Using a qualitative field research approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis was conducted descriptively. The findings reveal that teachers who are part of the Language Department play a central role in improving students’ speaking abilities through structured programs implemented on daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly bases. These include the use of communicative teaching methods, real-life speaking practices, and continuous feedback. Furthermore, the presence of a supportive learning environment significantly contributes to the development of students' oral proficiency. This study highlights the importance of teacher-led strategies and a conducive environment in fostering effective Arabic speaking skills among students

Abstract

Leadership communication in Islamic education is a key aspect of managing educational institutions to ensure the teaching and learning process aligns with their vision and mission. Effective communication can enhance motivation, performance, and work control, while ineffective communication may hinder the institution's goal achievement.  This study aims to explore the communication skills of leaders in managing, educating, guiding, and directing Islamic educational institutions, as well as strategies to improve communication effectiveness in the learning process. The research adopts a library research method, gathering data from books, journals, and related scientific articles. The analysis is conducted qualitatively and descriptively, examining leadership communication patterns and their impact on institutional performance.  The results show that effective communication between leaders and institutional members is crucial for improving collaboration and motivation. Conversely, poor communication can obstruct the attainment of the institution's vision and mission.  In conclusion, effective communication in Islamic educational leadership is vital for institutional success. Leaders with strong communication skills can enhance the motivation and performance of members, enabling the achievement of educational goals. As an implication, communication training for educational leaders should be implemented to improve institutional performance

Abstract

Research on tourism suggests that tourist guides are key representatives in the tourism industry in that they have contributed significantly to the satisfaction of visitors and are believed to determine whether or not the tourist will revisit destinations. The present study sought to investigate the perception of local tour guides Mas Mas village pertaining to their future carrier as tour guides and the roles they played in the profession. It also assessed the perceived learning needs as tour guides. There were five local tour guides and two potential employers taking part in this study. Data were collected through Focus Group Discussion and semi-structured interviews and were analyzed by employing the five-phased cycle of qualitative data analysis. The findings of this study suggested that being a professional tour guide is a promising career and a prestigious career despite encountering negative perception from the local community. It also revealed the tour guides played as key factor to develop village based tourism. However, they believed to be in need of further training

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kinerja guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam penggunaan TIK di SMKN 1 Narmada Kabupaten Lombok Barat dan mengetahui manajemen penggunaan TIK guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dilihat dari POAC (Planning Organizing, Actuating and Controling) di SMKN 1 Narmada Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian kualitatif (kualitatif research) atau naturalistik. Spesifiknya penelitian ini bersifat penelitian deskriptif kulaitatif, Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan membedah penelitian ini adalah 1) pengumpulan data 2) display data 3) data condensation dan 4) verifikasi data.Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pertama Kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran didukung penggunaan TIK terutama untuk mencari bahan ajar utama maupun pengayaan, penyediaan materi ajar, sebagai media pembelajaran, membantu perumusan dan pembuatan soal, pengelolaan nilai, dan penyimpanan file. Walaupun begitu banyak guru yang kurang paham penggunaan TIK dalam pembelajaran. Kedua Pengelolaan TIK dalam pembelajaran PAI tanpa perencanaan khusus apalagi evaluasi. Pengelolaan ada fokus pada pemanfaatannya sebagai alat bantu guru dalam pembelajaran tanpa arahan lembaga. Pengelolaan pemanfaatan TIK lebih dominan untuk pembelajaran belum menjadi sistem pembelajaran menyeluruh (learning managemen sistem).

Abstract

The present study aimed at exploring the challenges of online learning practice and the response of students, parents, teachers and Madrassa head during the Covid 19 outbreak. The study employed narrative method involving 2 students, 2 parents of students, 4 teachers and a madrassa head and chairman of the foundation. Data was collected using interviews and participant observation techniques and analyzed using narrative analysis techniques. The results of this study show that online learning practices cannot run optimally due to the lack of learning support facilities and infrastructure such as mobile phones and internet access followed by a lack of readiness of human resources to carry out online learning. Another factor was the lack of parental support for the online learning process caused by low levels of educational awareness and busy work as farm workers and fishermen. The study also revealed that students showed varying responses to online learning while parents, teachers and madrassa head faced many challenges in their implementation.

Abstract

Work performance is the behavior and work outcomes that principals, teachers, and students engage in or bring to the table in relation to contributing to organizational goals. Students who are satisfied with their learning will bring good performance. Likewise, teachers who have principals with good human resources will improve work performance for the better. The purpose of the research is to find out the orientation of human resources in improving work performance in schools. This research method is descriptive qualitative with data sources from literature (library research) through content analysis on various books, journals, and theses both research and conceptual results. The results of this paper conclude that human resource orientation in improving work performance in schools needs to be done by principals because principals are educational leaders who play an important role in improving teacher work performance. In order for educational goals to be achieved, educational institutions should be managed professionally with good human resources so that they can improve better work performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang Integrasi manajemen kurikulum dalam meningkatkan moderasi beragama santri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Kualitatif menghasilkan data deskriptif tentang Integrasi manajemen kurikulum dalam meningkatkan moderasi beragama. Data pada penelitian ini terdiri dari dua macam yaitu; data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan; 1) Obervasi 2) Wawancara 3) Dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang peneliti gunakan yaitu; pengumpulan data, penyajian data, data reduksi dan  penarikan kesimpulan.Teknik yang digunakan dalam uji keabsahan data yaitu; triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama: Perencanaan Kurikulum Integratif mencakup tiga proses perencanaan yaitu: (1) Analisis Kebutuhan, (2) Tujuan Pendidikan yaitu santri yang paham IPTEK, kuat IMTAQ, dan terbiasa Moralnya. (3) Fleksibilitas Kurikulum. (4) Kolaborasi Guru; kolaborasi guru antar mata pelajaran. Kedua: Pelaksanaan kurikulum integratif yaitu (1) pelaksanaan kurikulum tingkat madrasah (2) Pelaksanaan kurikulum tingkat kelas dengan. (3) Memilih Metode Pembelajaran. Ketiga: Evaluasi Kurikulum integratif  yaitu; (1) Menyusun evaluasi mencakup pemilihan Metode Evaluasi yang memuat evaluasi yaitu Evaluasi Model EKOP (Evaluasi Kualitas dan Output Pembelajaran). (2) Evaluasi Guru (3) Evaluasi untuk santri.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the principal's instructional leadership on teacher performance at State Vocational High Schools in Mataram City. This study used a quantitative approach. The population in this study were teachers at SMKN 1 Mataram and SMKN 3 Mataram. The research sample used was 5%, which amounted to 143 teachers. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire with an assessment using the Likert Scale. The results of the data obtained were analyzed using the t-test with the help of SPPS version 16. The results of this study indicate that the principal's instructional leadership has a positive influence on teacher performance. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan instrukional kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMK Negeri yang ada di Kota Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru-guru yang ada di SMKN 1 Mataram dan SMKN 3 Mataram. Sampel penelitian yang digunakanj sebesar 5 % yaitu berjumlah 143 orang guru. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan penilaian menggunakan Skala Likert. Hasil data yang diperoleh di análisis menggunakan uji t-tes dengan bantuan SPPS versi 16. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kepemimpinan instruksional kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru.
