Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of peer to peer supervision in developing teacher competency at SMPN 17 Mataram and MTSN 3 Mataram, Sekarbela sub-district. This research uses qualitative research methods to produce descriptive data. The data in this research consists of two types, namely; primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques use; 1) Observation 2) Interview 3) Documentation. The data analysis techniques that researchers use are; Data collection coincides with the research process, presenting data, reducing data and drawing conclusions. The techniques used to test the validity of the data are; source triangulation and time triangulation. The research results show that the implementation of peer to peer supervision at SMPN 17 Mataram and MTSN 3 Mataram involves various forms, such as determining teaching administration and assessing learning tools. Teacher competencies developed through peer supervision include collaboration skills, communication, pedagogical knowledge, and the use of technology at SMPN 17 Mataram, as well as self-reflection skills, collaboration, active learning skills, and pedagogical knowledge at MTSN 3 Mataram

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the effect of conflict management on the competence, motivation and performance of educators in MTs throughout the sub-district. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire with a total population and sample of 104 educators from 11 MTs in the sheet sub-district. Data analysis techniques use classical assumption tests and hypothesis testing uses simple and multivariate regression tests. The results of the research show that there is an influence of conflict management on competence as evidenced by the results of a simple regression analysis which obtained a Sig value. value 0.003 (0.003<0.05), the effect of conflict management on motivation is proven by the results of a simple regression analysis which obtained a Sig. The value is 0.029 (0.029<0.05), and the effect of conflict management on performance is proven by the results of a simple regression analysis which obtained a Sig. the value is 0.001 (0.001<0.05). Effective school principal leadership in implementing conflict management can contribute to increasing the competence of educators through the support and guidance provided.

Abstract

Dalam upaya untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai spiritual ke dalam sistem pendidikan modern, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam Surat Al-Fatihah dalam manajemen evaluasi pendidikan. Dalam konteks pendidikan yang semakin kompleks, integrasi spiritualitas dan moralitas menjadi sangat penting untuk membentuk karakter siswa yang utuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur, menganalisis berbagai sumber yang berkaitan dengan Surat Al-Fatihah dan praktik evaluasi pendidikan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai dalam Surat Al-Fatihah, seperti kepatuhan kepada Allah, rasa syukur, dan tawakkal, dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam berbagai teknik evaluasi, termasuk penilaian formatif dan penilaian sikap. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan holistik dalam evaluasi—yang mencakup aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor—dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa. Selain itu, umpan balik yang konstruktif dan berbasis nilai dapat memotivasi siswa untuk lebih berfokus pada proses belajar daripada hanya hasil akhir. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan agar institusi pendidikan mengembangkan rubrik penilaian yang mencakup aspek spiritual dan moral, serta melibatkan kolaborasi yang erat antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua. Dengan demikian, manajemen evaluasi pendidikan yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai dalam Surat Al-Fatihah tidak hanya akan meningkatkan kualitas akademis, tetapi juga membentuk karakter siswa yang baik, sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan yang lebih komprehensif dan berorientasi pada pengembangan karakter. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi pengembangan pendidikan yang lebih integratif dan berkarakter di Indonesia. In an effort to integrate spiritual values into the modern education system, this study explores the application of the values contained in Surah Al-Fatihah in educational evaluation management. In an increasingly complex educational context, the integration of spirituality and morality is crucial to forming a well-rounded student character. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, analysing various sources related to Surat Al-Fatihah and educational evaluation practices. The research findings show that the values in Surat Al-Fatihah, such as obedience to Allah, gratitude, and tawakkal, can be integrated into various evaluation techniques, including formative assessment and attitude assessment. The results of the analysis show that the application of a holistic approach in evaluation which includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects can improve the quality of learning and student learning outcomes. In addition, constructive and value-based feedback can motivate students to focus more on the learning process rather than just the end result. Based on the research results, it is recommended that educational institutions develop assessment rubrics that include spiritual and moral aspects and involve close collaboration between teachers, students, and parents. Thus, educational evaluation management based on the values in Surah Al-Fatihah will not only improve academic quality but also shape good student character, in accordance with the goals of education that is more comprehensive and orientated towards character development. This research is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of a more integrative and character-orientated education in Indonesia

Abstract

This study examines the changes in the Wetu Telu Islamic tradition in Narmada District, West Lombok Regency from 1998 to 2022. Wetu Telu Islam is a tradition practiced by some Sasak people, combining animistic beliefs and ancestral worship with Islamic teachings. In contrast, Waktu Lima Islam follows Shari’ah more comprehensively as taught by the Qur’an and Hadith. The rapid advancement of information technology, particularly social media, has influenced religious behavior among the Wetu Telu community. This research is descriptive-qualitative, using an anthropological approach to religion and employing historical research methods, including heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The findings indicate that: first, the social structure in West Lombok features stratification affecting political, traditional, and religious dominance. Second, Wetu Telu Islam represents a syncretism of Islamic, Hindu, and animistic teachings, creating a new culture while maintaining Islamic values. Third, the Wetu Telu tradition has undergone changes due to advances in knowledge, technology, and shifts in societal perspectives.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to find out how to form discipline and independence in generation-Z, as well as collaborative efforts with parents and society to shape Islamic character in generation-Z. On the other hand, this research also discusses the role of leadership in Islamic education that can contribute to improving the quality of generation-Z, often called the "strawberry" generation, a term often used to refer to a generation that is considered fragile in facing life's challenges. This research uses the library research method. The instruments used are data collected from various sources such as scientific journals, books, seminar papers and other publications, both offline and online. Data were analyzed using a descriptive qualitative model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that Generation Z's discipline and independence can be formed through a supportive educational environment, challenges, responsibility, active participation and positive support. Collaboration with parents and the community plays a role in forming Islamic character through open communication, family education and religious activities. Leadership in Islamic education includes relevant curriculum, integration of Islamic values, use of technology, improving teacher quality, and collaboration with parents and the community.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui caranya membentuk kedisiplinan dan kemandirian pada generasi-Z, serta upaya kolaboratif dengan orang tua dan masyarakat untuk membentuk karakter islami pada generasi-Z. Disisi lain, penelitian ini juga membahas peran kepemimpinan dalam pendidikan islam dapat berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas generasi-Z, sering juga disebut generasi “stroberi”, istilah yang sering digunakan untuk merujuk pada generasi yang dianggap rapuh dalam menghadapi tantangan hidup. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode library research. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa data yang dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber seperti jurnal ilmiah, buku, makalah seminar dan publikasi lainnya, baik offline maupun online. Data dianalisis menggunakan model kualitatif deskriptif yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin dan kemandirian Generasi Z dapat dibentuk melalui lingkungan pendidikan yang mendukung, tantangan, tanggung jawab, partisipasi aktif, dan dukungan positif. Kolaborasi dengan orang tua dan masyarakat berperan membentuk karakter Islami melalui komunikasi terbuka, pendidikan keluarga, dan kegiatan keagamaan. Kepemimpinan pendidikan Islam mencakup kurikulum relevan, integrasi nilai Islam, pemanfaatan teknologi, peningkatan kualitas guru, serta kerja sama dengan orang tua dan masyarakat.

Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى معرفة أشكال المشكلات التي تواجه التلاميذ والمدرسين في تعليم وتعلم مهارة الكلام باللغة العربية. هذا البحث هو البحث الوصفي النوعي بطريقة جمع البيانات من خلال الملاحظة والمقابلات والتوثيق واشتراك الباحث مباشرة في عملية التعليم والتعلم من مهارة الكلام باللغة العربية. تم تحليل البيانات التي تم الحصول عليها عن طريق التحليل الوصفي، وهو تحليل يهدف إلى تصوير الأحوال والحوادث والوثائق المتعلقة بعنوان البحث وقد حصل هذا البحث على لمحة عامة عما هو تركيز البحث، وهي المشكلات التي يوجهها المدرسون: (۱) مشكلات في تنظيم الطلاب الذين لديهم قدرات مختلفة في اللغة العربية بسبب الاختلافات في الخلفية التعليمية. (۲) انخفاض حماس الطلاب للتعلم. (۳) مشكلات في شرح نطق الحروف الهجائية ليس لها ما يعادلها في الأبجدية (٤) مشكلات شرح قواعد النحو والصرف التي ليس لها أي شيء مشترك في تركيب اللغة الإندونيسية في حين أن المشكلات التي يوجهها الطلاب هي (1) مشكلات في تركيب جمل جيدة وصحيحة عند التحدث أو التكلم (٢) الخوف من الخطأ عند التحدث أو التكلم (٣) قاسية ولا يفصح التحدث (1) مشكلات في ترجمة تعبيرات المحاور مباشرة بسبب نقص المفردات.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis mengetahui implementasi manajemen peningkatan mutu tenaga pendidik dan keterlibatan stakeholder dalam peningkatan mutu tenaga pendidik. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dalm tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, display data dan conclusion drawing. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen peningkatan mutu tenaga pendidik dilakukan dengan cara melakukan perencanaan, melakukan pengorganisasian, menggerakkan (actuating), dan melakukan pengawasann. Selain itu juga difokuskan pada empat kompetensi guru sebagai indikator mutu tenaga pendidik diantaranya kompetensi profesional, kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian (personal) kompetensi social guru. Keterlibatan stakeholder dalam peningkatan mutu tenaga pendidik diantaranya keterlibatan stakeholder dalam memberikan gagasan (ide, pikiran dan pendapat), keterlibatan stakeholder dalam pengambilan keputusan keterlibatan stakeholder dalam memberikan motivasi dan keterlibatan stakeholder dalam finansial/materi.

Abstract

Staffing policy by educational leaders plays a crucial role in determining the quality of educational human resources, which directly impacts the learning process and educational success. This study aims to examine how the values contained in Surah Al-Fatihah are reflected in the staffing policies adopted by educational leaders to improve the quality of educational human resources. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method in several educational institutions. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with school principals, teachers, and observations of staffing practices in various schools. Data analysis was conducted using a thematic approach to explore the connection between the values of Surah Al-Fatihah, such as guidance towards the straight path, justice, and balance in staffing policies. The results indicate that educational leaders who apply the principles found in Surah Al-Fatihah are able to create an educational environment that is fair, transparent, and focused on the development of high-quality human resources. In conclusion, staffing policies based on the values of Surah Al-Fatihah can enhance the quality of education through the selection and development of competent educators. The implications of this study highlight the importance of integrating spiritual values in educational policy decision-making.

Abstract

The lack of optimization of the principal's managerial competence in managing the Full Day School program is still a significant problem in improving the quality of education in Islamic boarding schools. This study aims to identify the managerial competence of the principal of the Tahfizul Qur'an Darussomad Islamic Boarding School in managing and developing the Full Day School program. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data were collected through interviews and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, presentation, and verification techniques. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the ability to prepare school plans systematically but needs to improve coordination of implementation; (2) human resource management is quite good but the distribution of tasks and training is still not optimal; (3) transparent management of student affairs and new student admissions but is constrained by facility capacity; and (4) curriculum management that is relevant to national education goals but faces limited implementation time. Improved coordination, teacher training, and facility adjustments are needed to optimize the principal's managerial competence in implementing the Full Day School program in Islamic boarding schools. Thus, this study argues that strengthening the principal's managerial competence is a strategic need to ensure the effectiveness of the implementation of the Full Day School program in order to improve the quality of education in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study’s finding is religious polarization confirming the Identity of Lombok Islamic Societies emerging since before Indonesia’s independence by taking the religious movement form. Mainstream religious movement in Lombok is Sunni one and not all of them are under organizational flag, but generally based on educational institution. Minority non-sunni movement brought an effect and wahabi movement pattern emphasizing on “the differentiation” of religious practice, so that it is not ideological wrestling but identity contestation that occurs. Then, religiosity identity of Lombok Islamic societies is material-symbolic and accommodative in nature. The accommodative religious practice occurs in tasawwuf practices and encounters acculturation as the identity of Lombok Muslim. Islamic religious Identity in Lombok Sunni has been existing long before the development of religious organization and educational institution, so that the Sasak Islamic Identity encountered acculturation as the result of natural constructi on of Lombok Islamic societies. Organizational diversity, movement, and identity solidification can be a wealth as long as it is not debated in the public space
