Abstract

This article analyzes a phenomenon found in rural communities in Subang district: the tradition of Gintingan. The Gintingan is a tradition of donating from one family to a family that will or is holding a celebration. Despite modern times, the tradition lives on due to the ownership of society's social capital. By employing a qualitative strategy coupled with a phenomenological technique, this study examines the effects of putting a traditional practice into action. Mutual trust between individuals is crucial in this case, as they exchange goods with each other repeatedly and contribute to helping Sohibul Hajat. Village communities boast a robust social network that serves various common and personal goals. Despite the tradition remaining constant, everything surrounding it transformed, such as invites, track records of attendees, and the design of dinnerware and barbecues, acquiring contemporary sensibilities. Evidently, society adapts to modernity while holding onto tradition.

Abstract

Introduction. Ancient manuscripts are one of the nation's many cultural heritages with historical significance. As a result, conservation measures must be implemented, one of which is the transfer of digital media. The purpose of this study is to learn about the efforts made to transfer Gandoang ancient manuscripts to Ciamis. Data Collection Methods. This study employs a qualitative case study approach, with data collected through observation techniques and semi-structured interviews with three informants. Data Analysis. Through Miles and Hubberman data analysis techniques; researchers organize, organize, and categorize them. Result and Discussion. The findings of this study indicate that, as part of the management's effort to preserve the Gandoang ancient manuscripts in collaboration with Tapak Karuhun Nusantara Foundation, converting them into a digital form into an e-book can be considered effective and efficient. The ancient manuscripts in this fragile state can now be preserved, allowing their existence to be used for a long time. Conclusion. Because of the internet, which allows everyone to read it wherever and whenever they want, the Gandoang e-book has proven to be more popular in the public. However, many ancient manuscripts in the Ciamis still require the attention of various parties due to their endangered state.

Abstract

Introduction. This research aims to identify and understand the sharing of knowledge in improving health literacy of breastfeeding mothers at AyahASI Indonesia. Data Collection Methods. This research used a qualitative method with case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observations, interviews and literature studies. Data Analysis. Data analysis technique was conducted using the knowledge conversion theory. The stages of data analysis included description, reduction, and selection. Subject of this research is one founder and two followers. Results and Discussion. Findings of this study explain that the knowledge sharing process at AyahASI Indonesia includes socialization, externalization, combination, and internalization. Results involve managers and followers in sharing knowledge either through direct communication such as gatherings or indirect communication such as using social media. Several obstacles faced were the use of language, scope of implementation, unethical milk marketing formulas, funds, and human resources. Conclusion. Knowledge sharing activities at AyahASI Indonesia aims to improve health literacy of breastfeeding mothers in order to be successful in providing breast milk to children. Suggestions can be started by forming a more reliable management system, expanding members to areas that have not been reached, selective in choosing words and collaborating with more health workers.

Abstract

The Covid-19 outbreak in Indonesia has changed library services into a new era of normality. This research aims to find out, (1) types of library information sources, (2) library services and (3) the role of librarians in the new normal era. This research uses the narrative literature review method so that it is expected to obtain a theoretical basis that can support in solving the problem being studied.  The number of scientific articles analyzed was 12 pieces from the Google Scholar database for the period 2020 – 2022. Researchers use the Google Scholar database because it has advantages including the availability of various scientific articles that are easily accessible, efficient in the use of cost and time.  The results and discussion show that library services in the new normal era are based on the internet and information technology. The library collection consists of repackaging information in digital format, developing open library collections and e-journals. Library services consist of librarian delivery services, social media-based library services, online reference services and digital libraries.  It is concluded that the role of library libararians in the new normal era is very important and education and training are needed in order to have competence in the field of internet and information technology which plays a very important role in library services in the new normal era.

Abstract

The problem of many unused library materials in a library may be due to the mismatch of the collection with the needs of library users. Some users are not satisfied with the library because the collection or information available in the library does not match what they want. So it is necessary to find out the needs of users so that all collections can be utilized properly by users because it suits their needs. The purpose of this research is to find out the analysis of user needs in the library. This research uses a narrative literature review method from references related to the topic of user needs analysis in libraries with a total of 10 references analyzed. Public libraries, national libraries, school libraries, college libraries, and special libraries will all be included in this study. The characteristics of library users differ depending on their information needs and background. In essence, the public are the main users of the library. People who utilize the library have a wide range of needs, including students, lecturers, teachers, staff, and the general public. User needs analysis activities conducted by libraries are done in various ways such as interviews, observations, case studies, and others. The community acts as the main user of the library. The community will assist the library in every user needs analysis activity. Therefore, the community will also determine the collections that must be in the library according to their respective information needs. This research will produce user needs analysis activities that have been carried out by various libraries with different users according to the type of library.Keyword:Analysis of user needs, collections, libraries

Abstract

Library collection is defined as one of the important components in library development.  This research uses a narrative literature review method from references related to the topic of book digitization in college libraries. Collection digitization is needed to preserve the contents of the library's print collection which can be damaged. The existence of a digital library that has advantages in access speed because it is oriented in digital data and computer network media, it also requires digitization of print collections.

Abstract

Literasi digital di lingkup perpustakaan banyak digunakan di masa pandemi covid 19 karena perpustakaan merupakan media literasi yang fungsinya untuk mencerdaskan masyarakat. Penelitian ini penting dikarenakan media literasi di perpustakaan tugasnya tidak hanya sebagai sumber informasi dan pengetahuan bagi masyarakat tetapi literasi digital merupakan pembelajaran sepanjang usia yang fungsinya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui Literasi Digital di Perpustakaan masa Pandemi Covid-19 melalui data base google schoolar: narative  Literatur Review. Penelitian ini menggunakan narrative literature review untuk mengetahui prinsip dasar literasi digital di perpustakaan, strategi, dan inovasi  dari rujukan yang berkaitan dengan topik literasi digital di perpustakaan masa covid-19 dengan jumlah rujukan yang dianalisis yaitu 10 rujukan. Karena banyaknya informasi yang simpang siur maka literasi digital sangat dibutuhkan di masyarakat untuk mengevaluasi dan memilih informasi dengan bijak dan teliti. Maka masyarakat harus bertanggung jawab saat melakukan pencarian informasi dalam kehidupannya.

Abstract

Abstrak Kajian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh aksebilitas sebuah perpustakaan yang bertransformasi menjadi sebuah perpustakaan digital untuk memenuhi kebutuhan para penggunanya. Keunggulan dan kekurangan serta persamaan dan perbedaan sebuah perpustakaan digital juga menjadi hal yang akan dianalisis dalam artikel ini. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui cara pustakawan dalam mengelola koleksi digital, serta cara staff perpustakaan memenuhi kebutuhan penggunanya dalam mengakses sebuah informasi secara digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode narrative literature review dari rujukan yang berkaitan dengan topik pengelolaan koleksi perpustakaan digital dengan jumlah tiga rujukan yang dianalisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden mengakses perpustakaan digital untuk memperoleh bahan bacaan yang diperlukan untuk keperluan akademik. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan aksesibilitas dan kualitas informasi yang disediakan oleh perpustakaan digital. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan perpustakaan digital dapat membantu meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam mengelola bahan bacaan dan memudahkan akses ke informasi yang dibutuhkan. Kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah membawa lahir konsep perpustakaan digital, untuk menerapkan konsep tersebut pustakawan memerlukan pemahaman yang tepat agar tidak terjadi kebingungan antara perpustakaan digital dengan sistem otomasi perpustakaan.

Abstract

The internet is a dish of technological innovation today. Cyberbullying is a network-based bullying crime by utilizing internet media. Cyberbullying is more experienced by teenage children below the age of 18 years. This study aims to determine the role of internet literacy in overcoming cyberbullying cases. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with literature study approach. The results of this study indicate the ability of internet literacy can be a real solution in preventing cyberbullying. Internet literacy education can be applied in formal institutions that are aligned with computer science subjects where students are not only able to operate but are also able to use the internet wisely, properly and correctly as a medium to meet the information needs and supporting communication media among humans.

Abstract

Di era digital saat ini, perkembangan teknologi telah melaju dengan pesat sehingga memungkinkan proses penyebaran informasi dilakukan dengan cepat dan efisien menggunakan perangkat elektronik terkini. Dengan adanya internet dan berbagai aplikasi media sosial, kegiatan pemasaran dapat dilakukan dengan sangat mudah, efisien, dan cepat. Banyak orang beranggapan bahwa museum hanyalah tempat yang membosankan dan konvensional karena sifatnya yang statis. Namun, Museum Macan membuktikan bahwa museum dapat menjadi tempat yang menarik bagi generasi muda. Museum ini berhasil menarik minat generasi muda untuk mengunjungi, memotret, dan merekam berbagai karya seni yang ada, menjadikan karya seni dan kontemporer yang interaktif sebagai konten yang diposting di berbagai media sosial mereka.
