The data were analyzed thematically through stages of data reduction, data display, and inductive conclusion drawing to identify patterns in the implementation of the RADEC model and its impact on students’ character development. The findings indicate that the RADEC model can be effectively applied in classrooms, although variations in implementation exist. This model has proven effective in enhancing student character, particularly in aspects of cooperation, discipline, responsibility, creativity, and self-confidence. However, its application faces challenges such as limited time and inadequate facilities. This study recommends further teacher training and the improvement of learning infrastructure to support the optimal implementation of the RADEC model.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of ethno-learning as a character education strategy through the integration of local Kacirebonan cultural values in government-based secondary schools in Cirebon City. Using a multi-site ethnographic approach, this study was conducted for one year in four schools that actively develop culture-based learning. The results of the study indicate that ethno-learning is implemented in two main forms, namely through the integration of local culture in intracurricular subjects and through extracurricular activities such as mask dance, gamelan, rebana, and the "Jelajah Budaya" program. One important finding is the role of teachers as cultural mediators who bridge traditional values with the formal education process. Teachers not only act as teachers, but also as value facilitators, art trainers, and cultural preservation agents in schools. The implementation of ethno-learning has been proven to strengthen students' positive dispositions towards local culture, form humanistic social attitudes, and foster reflective cultural identities. This study concludes that culture-based education should not be a complement, but rather the main foundation in the formation of students' character in a contextual and sustainable manner

Abstract

Technological developments have opened up the opportunity for every mixed culture, with negative and positive effects. One negative impact is that students tend to imitate foreign cultures and forget their culture's local wisdom values. Thus, the study intended to see the concept of integrating character education in siri™ na pacce™s local wisdom through sociology. This type of research is a library study that uses books and other literature as primary objects. Studies show how integrating siri™ na pacce™s value in sociology can be done through four strategies. First, exemplary strategy. The teacher, as the subject, gives an example of any action, behavior, or words that indicate siri™ na pacce's attitude. The second strategy is to intervene by integrating values-based character education siri™ na pacce in sociological studies. The third strategy is consistent breeding. After an exemplary and intervention strategy has been implemented, a strategy is needed to keep what has been implanted into a habit or habit. The fourth strategy is reinforcement. The strategy is basically done along with the breeding strategy. This integration can be an attempt to introduce and pass on local culture to the student, as well as good character creation.

Abstract

Sociology subjects are expected to instill the ability to analyze phenomena and solve social problems in students later, but in reality it is considered an unimportant subject and less desirable by students. This is due to the use of learning methods and models that are not varied by teachers in teaching so that student learning interest becomes minimal and ultimately has an impact on students' lack of understanding of sociological material. Problem Based Learning (PBL) is one of the recommended learning models in the independent curriculum, because PBL provides opportunities for students to apply their concepts to real situations. So it requires students to think critically in solving every problem. This study aims to see how the implementation of sociology learning with the PBL model in the independent curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Cisarua. Informants are selected by purposive sampling techniques and the key informants are teachers of sociology subjects in class XI, while supporting informants are vice principals for curriculum and grade XI students who take sociology elective subjects. Data analysis is carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Then to test the validity of the data, researchers use triangulation of data collection techniques and triangulation of data sources. From the results of the study, it was found that the implementation of sociology learning with the PBL model in the independent curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Cisarua was the same as when the previous curriculum still followed the syntax of the PBL model that had been conceptually determined, the difference was only in the existence of learning patterns in the independent curriculum such as differentiated learning, essential materials and the existence of the P5 program.

Abstract

Indonesian people live in an environment full of diversity, both ethnic, linguistic, cultural and religious, spread from Sabang to Merauke. This diversity is shaded by the ideology of Pancasila and the motto Bhinneka Tunggal Ika which must be a guide for the community. However, currently threats that can divide the Republic of Indonesia amidst this diversity are still emerging, one of which is radicalism. Religious moderation is one method that is currently being advocated by many organizations and institutions to prevent the growth and development of radicalism. One of the organizations that develops religious moderation is the Ansor Gerakan Pemuda Ansor in Ciamis district as an effort to prevent radicalism. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques in this research are interviews, observation and documentation studies. Interviews were conducted with NU administrators, GP Ansor administrators, and GP Ansor cadres. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions and verification. The research results show that the implementation of religious moderation carried out by the Ciamis Regency Gerakan Pemuda Ansor  Organization has a culture and programs that are able to distance its cadres from radicalism. Some of the programs from this organization include cadre formation for prospective cadres to form loyalty to the organization, strengthen understanding of statehood and tolerance. Then uphold the principles of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia's fixed price, a culture of democratic and inclusive discussion, studies that do not only focus on religious issues, and maintaining good relations across organizations and across religions. This good program is also wrapped in a solid organizational culture for mutual development which implicitly is the realization of Sundanese philosophical values, namely silih asih, silih asih, and sililh asuh.

Abstract

Indonesian citizens abroad are vulnerable to being influenced by foreign ideologies that are contrary to Pancasila, both those that lead to radicalism-terrorism, those exposed to communism-atheism, and those that show liberalism-westernism. The purpose of this study is to compare various groups of Indonesian citizens abroad, especially Indonesian migrant workers in Tawau, Malaysia, and to analyze how exposure to the above-mentioned transnational ideologies impacts their understanding of Pancasila values and threatens their national character after returning to Indonesia. In this study, an autoethnographic methodology was used. The results of this study are to force the Indonesian Government to create a strategy to protect Indonesian citizens abroad. This strategy will be called the Internationalization of Pancasila Ideology Development. The conclusion of this study is that without implementing the Pancasila Internationalization strategy for Indonesian citizens abroad, the transnational ideological values that are contrary to the Pancasila they adhere to upon returning from abroad will be forcibly disseminated as has happened recently, causing unrest and security disturbances in Indonesia.
