Abstract

Health information is a vital aspect of daily life, typically obtained through in-person consultations with doctors. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has necessitated changes in interaction patterns between patients and medical personnel due to the implementation of health protocols and social restrictions. Traditional face-to-face consultations not only increase the risk of transmission but also extend patient waiting times at clinics. Interviews with several patients revealed that most still rely on in-person meetings to obtain health information, necessitating a more efficient and secure technology-based solution. This study aims to develop E-Consul, an Android-based health consultation application that facilitates interactive communication between patients and doctors. Through this application, patients can ask questions in text format and receive immediate responses through the system. The application also features health articles that enable doctors to share knowledge with the public, as well as a first aid guide to improve patient preparedness. The results showed that E-Consul accelerated access to health information, reduced the need for in-person visits, and increased patient satisfaction. A pilot study of 10 respondents found that 90% strongly agreed and 10% agreed that the application facilitated consultations and was useful for obtaining health information. No respondents disagreed. These findings confirm that E-Consul is feasible to implement as a practical solution to support the transformation of inclusive, effective, and relevant digital medical services in the post-pandemic era.

Abstract

Effective and efficient public services are a fundamental requirement for improving the quality of interactions between citizens and government officials at the sub-district, village, and neighborhood association (RW) levels. Conventional, manual-based service systems often result in delays, long queues, and limited transparency. This study aims to design and build a web-based Community Association Service Information System at Perumnas Antang Blok 10 by adopting the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method as a system development framework, and the Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method as a decision support tool in the social assistance acceptance process. The results show that the developed system is able to accelerate the reporting process, improve data accuracy, and provide services without having to go through a physical queue process. This system also provides significant benefits in supporting objective decision-making regarding the distribution of social assistance. Based on the results of a questionnaire trial involving respondents, a final score of 88% was obtained, indicating that the system is considered very good and feasible to use. These findings confirm that the innovation of the web-based public service information system not only improves the quality of services at the RW level but also contributes to the realization of more transparent, responsive, and accountable governance.

Abstract

The attendance or attendance system is a recording or provision of information on a person's presence which indicates that the person has provided information about his presence and absence, then it is stated in the form of an attendance report. Along with the development of technology, an attendance recording has also developed, where we used to use paper attendance to fingerprint attendance. In educational institutions such as campuses, attendance has an important role in the process of developing a student. Until now, there are still many campuses that still use conventional attendance to record the presence of students in class, which allows for human error or fraud from both lecturers and students. Therefore, a solution is possible to suppress errors that may occur, namely by creating a website-based attendance or attendance system where the QR Code is used as an auxiliary medium in recording the presence or absence of a student at the STMIK AKBA Makassar Campus.

Abstract

The weight and height measurement tools used at the Tarowang Jeneponto Health Center do not get accurate data, because they are still conventional or manual. this has an impact on inefficient use because it is still carried out by humans who have inaccuracies and usually human error occurs. This study aims to design an accurate and automatic body weight and height measurement system at the Tarowang Jeneponto Public Health Center. This data was obtained through field research, library research, interviews and documentation. The method used in this research is the blackbox method and UAT (User Acceptance Test). The results of this study indicate that the System for Measuring Weight and Height with Internet Of Things-Based Automatic Recording was successfully implemented and very well used with a questionnaire value of 86.4%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce a model that can assist in determining prospective new students of STMIK AKBA who receive scholarships. The algorithm used is decision tree and nave Bayes to classify the graduation of prospective recipients of the Indonesian Smart Card (KIP) scholarship. Based on the results of the classification of the decision tree algorithm with the confusion matrix, the accuracy value is 44.12 % and the F1-Score is 34.48 %. If you use the Naive Bayes algorithm, it produces an accuracy value of 76.47 % using data on diploma scores and average report cards. Furthermore, for accuracy without using diploma value data and the average report card is 79.41 %. The results of this study show that nave Bayes has a better performance even though it does not use diploma scores and average report cards. Measurement of the results of the nave Bayes classification with the confusion matrix showed low sensitivity with values of 66.67 % and 58.33 % for the first and second scenarios. Based on the evaluation results, the Naïve Bayes algorithm has a better performance than the Decision Tree algorithm in classifying KIP scholarship recipients.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a word composition educational game for young children in the post-COVID-19 pandemic era. The game is designed to help children strengthen their word composition skills and introduce new letters and syllables related to fruits. Utilizing a 2D display, the game was developed using the Construct 2 game engine and followed the waterfall development method. The game's effectiveness was validated through testing with 10 parents and teachers, demonstrating its potential in aiding children's learning of word composition. The study results indicate that the integration of gamification and technology in early childhood education significantly enhances children's motivation and learning outcomes. The use of Construct 2 enabled the creation of a user-friendly and visually appealing educational game. This study contributes to knowledge by providing an innovative approach to improving children's word composition skills in an engaging manner. Additionally, it highlights the broader potential of gamified learning tools to transform traditional educational practices, offering valuable insights for future educational technology development.
