Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the Kampus Mengajar Program and the teaching skills of students of PGSD (Primary School Teacher Education) at Kampus Sumedang. The research employed a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The population consisted of PGSD students at Kampus Sumedang who participated in the 2024 Kampus Mengajar program. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Spearman Rho correlation test. The results showed that the Kampus Mengajar program was categorized as “Very High,” while the students’ teaching skills were also categorized as “Very High.” The Spearman Rho correlation test yielded a correlation coefficient of r = 0.764 with a significance value of p < 0.001 (p < 0.05), indicating a positive and significant relationship between the Kampus Mengajar program and students’ teaching skills. The coefficient of determination revealed that the Kampus Mengajar program contributed 58.37% to the students’ teaching skills, while the remaining percentage was influenced by other factors. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the better the implementation of the Kampus Mengajar program, the higher the teaching skills of PGSD students at Kampus Sumedang.

Abstract

Abstract: The effect of E-Books on Students' Understanding of My Material and My Needs Class IV Cikandang Elementary School. The purpose of this research is to measure students' understanding before and after using e-books in the material Me and My Needs for class IV Cikandang State Elementary School, to measure the effectiveness of e-books on students' understanding of Me and My Needs material for class IV Cikandang State Elementary School, and to measure the effect of e-books on students' understanding of the material Me and My Needs for class IV Cikandang State Elementary School. This type of research is experimental research with a quasi- experimental method and a Nonequivalent Control Group research design. The design is because it wants to measure and compare understanding between the experimental group that received treatment using e-books and the control group that received treatment using digital posters. The understanding of experimental group students before being given treatment (pretest) obtained an average of 46.97, after being given treatment (posttest) obtained an average of 79.31. Meanwhile, the control group before being given treatment (pretest) got 57.31, after being given treatment (posttest) got an average of 80.25. In the analysis using the paired sample t-test in the experimental group, the results were 0.000 < 0.05, so H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. The simple linear regression test obtained a coefficient of determination of 0.765, which means that the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable is 76.5%. So, there is an effect between e-books on students' understanding. Keyword : E-Book, UnderstandingAbstrak : Pengaruh E-Book Terhadap Pemahaman Peserta Didik Pada Materi Aku dan Kebutuhanku Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Cikandang. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengukur penafsiran siswa sebelum serta setelah menggunakan e-book pada materi Aku dan Kebutuhanku kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cikandang, untuk mengukur efektivitas e-book terhadap pemahaman siswa terhadap materi Aku dan Kebutuhanku kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cikandang, dan untuk mengukur pengaruh e-book terhadap pemahaman peserta didik pada materi Aku dan Kebutuhanku kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cikandang. Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian eksperimen dengan metode quasi eksperiment dan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Desain karena ingin mengukur dan membandingkan penafsiran antara kelompok eksperimen yang memperoleh perlakuan memakai e-book dengan kelompok kontrol yang memperoleh perlakuan  memakai poster digital. Pemahaman peserta didik kelompok eksperimen sebelum diberikan perlakuan (pretest) memperoleh rata-rata 46.97, sesudah diberikan perlakuan (posttest) memperoleh rata-rata 79,31. Sementara terhadap kelompok kontrol sebelum diberikan perlakuan (pretest) memperoleh 57.31, setelah diberikan perlakuan (posttest) memperoleh rata-rata 80,25. Pada analisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test pada kelompok eksperimen memperoleh hasil 0.000 < 0.05 maka H1 diterima serta H0 ditolak, Dari uji paired mmemperlihatkan ada pengaruh antara media pengajaran e-book pada pemahaman siswa terhadap materi Aku dan Kebutuhanku di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cikandang. Pada uji regresi linear sederhana mendapatkan koefisien determinasi senilai 0,765 yang mengandung arti pengaruh variabel bebas pada variabel terikat ialah senilai 76,5%. Maka, ada pengaruh antara e-book pada pemahaman peserta didik.Kata kunci : E-Book, Pemahaman

Abstract

Memajukan dan menyetarakan kualitas pendidikan di wilayah kepulauan masih menjadi tantangan, terutama terkait dengan keterbatasan akses terhadap pengembangan profesional guru dan pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran mutakhir. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru di wilayah Pulau Tidung, Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta, dalam menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam dengan berbantuan kecerdasan artifisial sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang mendorong pemahaman mendalam dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, pelatihan daring dan luring, pendampingan praktik pembelajaran, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 48 guru di Pulau Tidung Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan guru, dengan perbandingan rerata skor hasil pre-test 75,61 dan rerata skor hasil post-test menjadi 80,15. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan sistem bauran dengan pendekatan experiential learning dapat menjadi solusi strategis dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru untuk implementasi pembelajaran mendalam di daerah kepulauan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using Scratch media on the mastery of concepts of fourth grade students in the water cycle material. The study used a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design involving 30 students. The results showed a significant increase in the average student score from 28.3 (pretest) to 75.3 (posttest). Wilcoxon analysis showed a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05), which indicated that there was a positive effect of using scratch media on students' mastery of concepts in fourth grade. Scratch media effectively makes learning more interesting, interactive, and helps students understand abstract concepts more concretely.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the demands for the readiness of elementary school teachers and students to face the Merdeka Curriculum, one of which is the demand for HOTS- based learning. The implementation of HOTS-based learning requires an evaluation using HOTS- based test questions as well. The objectives are, 1) to analyze and examine the readiness of teachers in supporting the implementation of HOTS-based learning and its evaluation using HOTS-based test instruments, and 2) to analyze and examine how students' readiness to receive HOTS-based tests, especially in mathematics. This study used the survey method. The survey was conducted on 172 teachers and 154 high grade students in West Java, Indonesia. The instrument used questionnaires, for teachers distributed through Google Form, while for students using paper questionnaires that were filled in manually. Research results: 1) Elementary school teachers aren’t fully prepared to implement HOTS-based learning, there are still misconceptions of teachers' understanding of HOTS learning; 2) In Mathematics, there are still many students who aren’t ready to accept the presence of HOTS-based test questions, because they haven’t mastered basic arithmetic skills. This is the biggest obstacle for students to be able to absorb, accept, and solve HOTS-based math questions as an evaluation standard in the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran creative learning terhadap kemampuan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas IV SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest posttest design design bentuk tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada rumusan masalah diperoleh hasil bahwa model pembelajaran creative learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan pengujian hipotesis uji beda rata-rata nilai pre-test dan nilai post-test siswa, diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,004 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran creative learning terhadap kemampuan hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut diperkuat dengan perolehan rata-rata gain siswa yaitu sebesar 0,47 yang termasuk pada kategori sedang.

Abstract

Students' cognitive understanding of Science and Social Studies (IPAS), particularly on the topic of changes in matter and its properties, remains relatively low, while the availability of learning media in elementary schools is still limited. This study aimed to develop an interactive learning medium in the form of an application to improve the cognitive understanding of fourth-grade elementary school students. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model, which consists of the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. Data were collected through interviews, validation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and learning achievement tests. The results showed that the Change-Lab application obtained a material expert validation score of 95.89% and a media expert validation score of 94.35%, both categorized as highly valid. The study involved 33 students at SDN Nagreg 02. Student responses to the Change-Lab application reached 93.2%, indicating a very positive category, while the N-Gain score of 77.46% demonstrated a significant improvement in students' cognitive understanding. Therefore, the Change-Lab application is effective in improving students' cognitive understanding and is highly suitable for use in fourth-grade IPAS learning.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low level of conceptual understanding among fifth-grade students, which is attributed to the limited use of learning models that facilitate active student engagement in the learning process. This study aimed to examine the effect of the Game Based Learning model on fifth-grade students’ conceptual understanding of the human respiratory system. The research employed a quasi-experimental method using a nonequivalent control group design. The participants consisted of fifth-grade elementary school students, with 30 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class. Data were collected through observation and testing. The results indicated that the Game-Based Learning model was effective in improving students’ conceptual understanding of the human respiratory system, as evidenced by the higher mean score of the experimental class compared to that of the control class. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Game Based Learning model is more effective than conventional learning methods and can serve as an alternative approach to enhancing fifth-grade students’ conceptual understanding. Furthermore, this study demonstrates that Game-Based Learning helps students improve their understanding of the human respiratory system through direct interaction and active participation in learning activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berasal dari permasalahan kemampuan numerasi siswa sekolah dasar masih tergolong rendah sehingga diperlukan inovasi pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peningkatan kemampuan numerasi siswa setelah diterapkan gamification method pada materi penyajian data di kelas III SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu, menggunakan desain non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SD Negeri di Kecamatan Cikatomas, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Sampel penelitian yaitu SDN Margamulya dan SDN Sukasirna. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes. Berdasarkan uji independent sample t-test terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara penerapan gamification method dan metode konvensional terhadap kemampuan numerasi siswa. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan N-Gain, peningkatan kemampuan numerasi siswa pada kelas eksperimen termasuk pada kategori sedang (47%) sementara pada kelas kontrol termasuk ke dalam kategori rendah (22,5%). Dengan demikian, peningkatan kemampuan numerasi pada kelas yang menerapkan gamification method lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Sehingga gamification method dapat dijadikan alternatif pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine a the results of the feasibility validation of the IPAS learning in the Merdeka Curriculum known as Voice E-book as an effort to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. Voice E-books can cater to the various learning styles of students. The method used in this research is the Research and Development development method of the ADDIE model proposed by Dick and Carry in 1996. This study utilizes a five-stage approach, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The participants in this study consisted of 4th grade students from SD Negeri 1 Kebarepan, Cirebon Regency. The findings of this study have been thoroughly validated, with a material validation score of 90% and a media validation score of 99% . The learning process using Voice E-book has been validated with an impressive score of 96%, indicating excellent performance. Furthermore, the findings include the results of students' questionnaires regarding the profile of Pancasila students, which achieved a score of 92% and questionnaires on voice E-book media received a score of 93%. Thus, it can be concluded that utilizing Voice E-book media to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students is highly suitable.
