Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis video untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar peserta didik. Melalui pendekatan studi literatur, analisis mendalam dilakukan terhadap literatur yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis video memiliki potensi yang besar dalam meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar. Video mampu mengaktifkan sensori visual dan auditori peserta didik, merangsang minat terhadap materi pelajaran, dan memperkuat pemahaman konsep. Faktor-faktor keberhasilan meliputi desain video yang menarik, kualitas konten, dan integrasi dengan interaksi aktif dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, penyesuaian dengan karakteristik peserta didik dan pengembangan materi yang relevan juga sangat penting. Dalam konteks pendidikan modern, rekomendasi yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini berpotensi memberikan panduan praktis bagi pendidik dan pengambil keputusan dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis video secara optimal untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

This abstract provides a concise overview of the research on the intersection between the Merdeka Curriculum and teaching challenges in the digital era in Indonesian secondary schools. Implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesian secondary schools coincides with the evolving landscape of education in the digital era. This research explores the intersection of these two factors, aiming to understand how the curriculum aligns with and addresses the teaching challenges posed by the digital era. Through qualitative research methods, including interviews with educators, document analysis, and surveys of secondary school students, this study examines the impacts, challenges, and opportunities presented by the Merdeka Curriculum in the context of the digital age. Preliminary findings suggest that the Merdeka Curriculum has positively influenced students' critical thinking and civic awareness. However, educators report challenges related to students' overreliance on digital devices, digital literacy, and the need to balance national identity with global perspectives. The research offers practical implications for curriculum development and policy recommendations to foster digital literacy, maintain a focus on critical thinking, and find a harmonious balance between national and global perspectives. This study contributes to the ongoing discourse on curriculum adaptation to meet the demands of the digital era in Indonesian secondary education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi penulisan artikel ilmiah terindeks SINTA melalui kegiatan "Pelatihan Penulisan Artikel Ilmiah Terindeks SINTA" yang dilaksanakan secara online pada tanggal 11 Agustus 2023. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 44 peserta dari berbagai kalangan, termasuk dosen, mahasiswa, dan guru. Alasan pemilihan topik ini adalah pentingnya kontribusi akademik dalam penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah serta peningkatan indeks SINTA sebagai parameter evaluasi kualitas publikasi. Metode kegiatan mencakup sesi pelatihan, diskusi interaktif, praktik penulisan, review dan koreksi artikel, serta sharing pengalaman. Hasil kegiatan ini mencakup peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah terindeks SINTA, perbaikan artikel ilmiah yang ada, dan kolaborasi lintas sektor. Peserta juga merasa lebih termotivasi untuk berkontribusi dalam penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah yang berkualitas. Pentingnya hasil kegiatan ini terletak pada kontribusi yang lebih besar dalam perkembangan penelitian dan pendidikan di Indonesia serta peningkatan indeks SINTA para peserta.

Abstract

With current technological developments, mobile phones can provide Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) transportation payment systems that still use ineffective tickets where passengers have to queue to buy ticket tickets. As well as the physical condition of the ticket which is easily wet and torn. In fact, currently there are many payment systems that use technology assistance as a payment method that can minimize queues for purchasing transportation tickets. Such as smart cards used by Trans Jakarta transportation and the use of smartphones as a means of payment for Go-Jek and Grab transportation. So we need an innovation that can replace the BRT payment system which still uses tickets using the current technology. For this reason, a mobile-based Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) payment system was created so that passengers can easily make transportation payments. This system can validate voucher codes and make payments.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to design Android smartphone learning media and the feasibility level of Android smartphone learning media in computer operating system subjects. This study uses the Research and Development research method, using the 4D development model, namely Define, contains activities to determine what products will be developed, along with their specifications. This stage is a needs analysis activity, carried out through research and literature studies. Design (Design), contains activities to create a design for a predetermined product. Development (Development), contains the activities of making a design into a product and testing the validity of the product repeatedly until a product is produced according to predetermined specifications. Dessemnation (Dissemination), contains the activities of disseminating products that have been utilized by others. The production stage produces the initial product which is then reviewed by material experts and media experts. The results of the review were revised according to the suggestions of the two experts. In the evaluation stage, the product being tested on students, the test subject was a class X TKJ SMK Gunung Sari 1 Makassar. Data is obtained by price, scores are given on a scale of 1-4. The results obtained from the validation of media experts were 78.33%, and the validation results from material experts were obtained 92.30%, with an average proportion of the two validators being 85.31%. The results of the small trial were in the good category with a proportion of 100%, then the large group trial was 75% in the good category with a frequency of 12 people, then 25% in the fairly good category with a frequency of 4 people. Based on these results, learning media for Android smartphones using Adobe Flash CS6 get a good view of being used as learning media. Thus it can be concluded that the learning media product based on an Android smartphone using Adobe Flash CS6 has complied with research and development principles and is well used in the learning process for class X SMK TKJ SMK Gunung Sari 1 Makassar

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has shifted all learning patterns from offline to online to hybrid, in which hybrid learning pattern is a combination of offline learning and online learning. The hybrid learning process is closely related to digital literacy skills, therefore research is needed to determine the digital literacy level of vocational high school students when studying online or offline. The digital competency tested in this research is the Digital Literacy Competency of the Ministry of Communications and Informatics, SiBerkreasi & Deloitte (2020) where digital literacy competency is divided into 4 competencies, namely digital skills, digital culture, digital ethics, and digital safety. The summary of research results collected from 108 students through a questionnaire with 30 indicators to measure all students' digital literacy abilities is that empirical descriptive data shows students with digital literacy skills in the low category of 18.5%, the medium category of 65.7% and the high category of 15.7%, which can be concluded that that on average students have moderate literacy skills which are shown at 65.7%. This is of course good, but must still be improved.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the constraints that arise from the EUCS (End-User Computing Satisfaction) evaluation results and to propose measures to anticipate potential shortcomings in future information system development. In the context of ongoing digital transformation, information system plays an increasingly important role in supporting organizational success. However, constraints from EUCS evaluation results are often overlooked, which can negatively impact the quality of information system development. Through an in-depth analysis of the identified constraints, this research uses the narrative review method to identify constraints that could potentially recur in the future. Furthermore, this research proposes steps that can be taken to anticipate potential shortcomings in future information system development. The author found the obstacles that tend to recur are the completeness of information (content), information that is not up to date (accuracy), monotonous appearance (format), the use of systems that are not easy to learn (ease of use), and long response time (timeliness). So, in the future, this can be a concern when designing an information system

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji dampak pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap niat, perilaku, dan hasil jangka panjang mahasiswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan systematic literature review terhadap 15 dokumen akademik terkini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan niat mahasiswa untuk berwirausaha melalui penguatan sikap, efikasi diri, dan persepsi dukungan sosial. Program pendidikan yang menekankan pembelajaran praktis dan simulasi kewirausahaan lebih efektif dibandingkan pendekatan teoritis, meskipun hasilnya juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor demografis seperti gender dan pengalaman kerja. Selain itu, pendidikan kewirausahaan berperan dalam mengembangkan kompetensi kewirausahaan, seperti kemampuan mengenali peluang dan mengelola risiko, serta memperkuat modal psikologis mahasiswa, termasuk efikasi diri dan resiliensi. Transformasi pembelajaran selama pandemi melalui metode hybrid dan digital menciptakan peluang sekaligus tantangan dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pendidikan kewirausahaan, terutama dalam aspek interaksi langsung dan pengalaman praktis. Dalam jangka panjang, pendidikan kewirausahaan memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap keberlanjutan karier mahasiswa di dunia usaha, khususnya di lingkungan startup, dengan membekali mereka sikap karier protean, kemampuan mengelola risiko, dan jaringan profesional yang luas. Pendidikan ini juga mendukung retensi karyawan dan keberlanjutan usaha melalui pengembangan kompetensi yang relevan. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan holistik dalam pendidikan kewirausahaan untuk mencetak individu yang kompeten, adaptif, dan siap menghadapi dinamika dunia usaha modern.

Abstract

This research focuses on the development of life-saving life saving rings equipped with remote control systems, with the aim of improving efficiency and effectiveness in emergency rescue in waters. The urgency of this research lies in the creation of a remotely operable buoy, thereby reducing reliance on physical strength and human accuracy during the rescue process. This research follows the ADDIE development model, which includes five phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The design of the buoy and the accompanying remote control system are designed with user-friendliness and operational effectiveness in mind. The system is then tested by maritime professionals to assess its practicality and functionality. The test results showed a positive response from users, who gave a high assessment of the design and performance of the buoy. However, there are suggestions to increase the battery life of the remote control to support longer operations. Overall, the development of this life-saving buoy with a remote control system has made a significant contribution to maritime safety. By offering a more reliable and efficient solution, it can improve the quality of rescue operations, reduce the risk of accidents, and improve response in emergency situations in waters.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan sebuah media pembelajaran laboratorium virtual reality menggunakan headset VR pada materi pengenalan perangkat jaringan komputer. Dengan tujuan khususnya adalah mendeskripsikan hasil desain model aplikasi, fungsionalitas aplikasi, dan kelayakan laboratorium virtual yang dikembangkan. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Tahapan pengembangan; penelitian, pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan draf produk, validasi produk, revisi hasil validasi produk, uji coba lapangan, revisi hasil uji coba lapangan, penyempurnaan produk akhir, dan diseminasi. Selanjutnya, metode statistik uji perbandingan Paired Sample T Test digunakan untuk mengetahui bahwa kelas ekperimen berbeda secara signifikan secara statistik dari kelas kontrol, dengan rerata kelas eksperimen lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa dapat lebih baik dalam belajar materi pengenalan perangkat jaringan komputer dengan menggunakan virtual reality
