Abstract

There are many studies that examine students' abilities, but there are still few that examine students' ability to solve PISA problems with konten space and shape. This research uses Polya indicators, namely understanding problems, planning for problem solving, implementation of planning, and re-checking. Describing students' ability to solve problems with PISA questions reviewed from gender differences is the  goal  of  this study. The method used is qualitative with a data triangulation technique that takes data by the test method and interviews involving 6 subjects consisting of 3 male subjects and 3 female subjects. The result of this study is that female students are superior to male students in problem-solving ability. Lack of scrupulousness makes male students in problem-solving ability under female students. Mistakes in male students that often occur are at the stage of carrying out problem-solving planning and re-checking the results of the answers obtained, while female students only occur during the re-checking process.

Abstract

Makanan tradisional dumbeg khas daerah Rembang merupakan makanan favorit para Wali pada zaman dahulu sekitar abad 15 sampai 16 Masehi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi konsep dan aktivitas matematika pada makanan tradisional dumbeg khas daerah Rembang. Metode dan pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Data diperoleh berdasarkan hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap proses pembuatan makanan tradisional dumbeg khas daerah Rembang.  Untuk menguji keabsahan data dari data yang diperoleh yaitu menggunakan metode triangulasi data. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah masyarakat daerah Rembang mengetahui bahwa dalam proses pembuatan dan bentuk makanan tradisional dumbeg ini terdapat beberapa aktivitas matematika seperti menghitung dan mengukur, serta konsep matematika diantaranya konsep matematika geometri, konsep matematika aljabar, dan konsep matematika aritmatika.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy is one of the needs of students to prepare themselves to be part of society in the future. Not only that, you are also required to be able to solve problems through higher order thinking skills (HOTS). The purpose of this research is to analyze students' mathematical literacy abilities in solving HOTS questions on circle material. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research subjects came from class VIII, which consisted of 32 students. Collecting data in this study was carried out through written tests and interviews. Checking the validity of the data using the triangulation technique compared the acquisition of interviews and tests. In conducting data analysis, it is divided into three components, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results, all indicators of mathematical literacy have been achieved by students with high mathematical abilities. Meanwhile, students who have moderate mathematical abilities have achieved communication indicators, problem solving strategies, and representations. Finally, students who have low mathematical abilities have achieved indicators of problem solving and representation strategies. Therefore, the use of this research is to find out students' mathematical literacy abilities and to design better learning activities to increase students' mathematical literacy skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe creative thinking skills of students on the indicators of fluency, flexibility, and originality in solving open-ended questions on cartesius coordinate system materia in terms of initial ability. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with a population of the eighth grade students of SMPN 1 Plupuh, Plupuh District, Sragen Regency. Purposive sampling technique as a sampling technique so that the sample is in accordance with the specified criteria, the sample consists of 3 subjects selected from 28 students of class VIII F. The data collection technique was a written test with 3 questions, interviews with 6 questions, and documentation using a handphone camera. The research results show that the fluency indicator achieved by students with high and moderate initial abilities. Students with low initial abilities didn’t meet the fluency indicator. The flexibility indicator was only achieved by students with high initial abilities. The flexibility indicator couldn’t be achieved by students with moderate and low initial abilities. The originality indicator can be achieved by students with high and moderate initial abilities. Students with low initial abilities did’nt show self-composed solutions, so students didn’t meet the originality indicator.

Abstract

Abstract

Proses berpikir menjadi hal krusial untuk memecahkan suatu masalah matematika, khususnya kemampuan berpikir kritis diperlukan guna penyelesaian masalah HOTS. Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa Indonesia yang masih perlu ditingkatkan akan menjadi tugas utama bagi guru. Guru dapat menyesuaikan karakteristik masing-masing individu berdasarkan gaya kogntifnya untuk memaksimalkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam memecahkan permasalahan HOTS berdasarkan gaya kognitif. Teknik mengumpulkan data menggunakan tes tertulis dan wawancara, selanjutnya memeriksa keabsahan data penelitian digunakan teknik triangulasi yang mengkomparasikan hasil tes tertulis dan hasil wawancara siswa. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis melalui tiga tahap: 1) reduksi data, 2) menyajikan data, dan 3) penarikan kesimpulan penelitian. Indikator berpikir kritis yang telah ditentukan peneliti mengacu pada kriteria menurut Ennis. Hasil dari penelitian siswa dengan gaya kognitif field dependent (FD) dapat menguasai indikator focus, reason, situation, dan clarity dari enam indikator berpikir kritis. Sedangkan siswa dengan gaya kognitif field independent (FI) dapat menguasai indikator focus, inference, situation, clarity, dan overview dari enam indikator berpikir kritis.

Abstract

This research investigated about the implementation of marketing strategy at Junior High School of Al-Faruqi Kampar.  The research problems were 1) how the implementation of marketing strategy was, 2) what supporting and obstructing factors influencing in increasing marketing strategy at Junior High School of Al-Faruqi Kampar.  It was a descriptive qualitative research.  The main informants of this research were the principal and the vice of public relations, and the supporting informants were 1 head of school administration, 1 HRD (human resource development) team, 5 guardians of students and 4 students.  The object of this research was the implementation of marketing strategy at Junior High School of Al-Faruqi Kampar.  Observation, interview, and documentation were used for collecting the data.  The data were analyzed by using reduction, presentation, and conclusion.  The findings of this research showed that the implementation of marketing strategy at Junior High School of Al-Faruqi Kampar was in accordance with the proper way: planning a marketing strategy by using market identification, segmentation, product differentiation, marketing communications and educational institutions properly services.  The obstructing factors in implementing of marketing strategies at Junior High School of Al-Faruqi Kampar were the permission when entering the promotion permit, there were schools that did not accept it.  The Supporting factors in implementing of marketing strategies at Junior High School of Al-Faruqi Kampar were using relationships, the relationships were the parents of students and students to help promote.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh manajemen sarana dan prasarana terhadap kualitas layanan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian korelasi untuk mengetahui pengaruh manajemen sarana dan prasarana (X) dan kualitas layanan pembelajaran (Y) di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Kampar. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Kampar yang berjumlah 86 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan kuantitatif persentase dan uji korelasi product moment dengan bantuan SPSS versi 16 for windows. Setelah data dianalisa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara manajemen sarana dan prasarana dengan kualitas layanan pembelajaran Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Kampar, dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,891. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan uji korelasi dengan nilai rhitung 0,891 lebih besar dari rtabel pada taraf signifikan 5% yaitu 0,287 (0,891 > 0,287). Hasil perhitungan koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,794. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh manajemen saranadan prasarana dengan kualitas layanan pembelajaran adalah sebesar 79,4%. Sedangkan sisanya 20,6% (100%-79,4%) dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini. Jadi semakin baik manajemen sarana dan prasarana maka semakin baik pula kualitas layanan pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Kampar.
