Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the objectives of the extracurricular activities of the PAI Mosque Youth Association at SMPN 6 Makassar. Describe the implementation of PAI Mosque Youth Association extracurricular activities at SMPN 6 Makassar. Describe the supporting and inhibiting factors for extracurricular activities of the PAI Mosque Youth Association at SMPN 6 Makassar. This type of research is field research by taking data sources in the field through interviews as the main source. Supporting data is relevant to the research object that being studied. Then presented several findings regarding the extracurricular activities of the PAI Mosque Youth Association of SMPN 6 Makassar, how the implementation of extracurricular activities of the PAI Mosque Youth Association at SMPN 6 Makassar improving the good character and religious devotion. Inhibiting and supporting factors for the PAI Mosque Youth Association extracurricular program at SMPN 6 Makassar. The results of this research are the extracurricular activities of the PAI Mosque Youth Association in improving the good character and religious devotion. Achieve a balance between physical and spiritual education. During the activity. Starting with an opening, then delivering the material and ending with a closing. Many things are taught such as discipline, responsibility, family in the organization, and leadership. 3) Strategies in the extracurricular activities of the Mosque Youth Association include discipline, memorization, grouping and repetition. Meanwhile, the methods used are coaching methods, social activities and direct student involvement. The learning model used is cooperative. The strategies used in extracurricular worship include strategies to get more grades in PAI subjects. Guidance, practice, delivery of prayer material and prayer laws.

Abstract

This research analyzes the concept of character education from the perspectives of the Al-Qur'an, Muhammadiyah figures, and Muhammadiyah itself to offer comprehensive ideas about character education. Employing library research, primary sources include works by Muhammadiyah figures and other literature on character education. The findings reveal: 1) The Al-Qur'an advocates various aspects of character education, such as goodness (ihsan), virtues (al-birr), fulfilling promises (al-wafa), patience, honesty, reverence for Allah SWT, justice, and forgiveness, as seen in Surah An-Nahl verse 90 and Surah Al-Isra' verses 23-24. 2) Muhammadiyah figures like KH. Ahmad Dahlan emphasize cultivating Muslims with virtuous characters, broad perspectives, and societal commitment, while Syafi'i Ma'arif highlights the collaborative nature of character education involving educators, parents, teachers, and society. Muhammadiyah's commitment is evident through Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah (AIK) education across its institutions, aiming to develop an Indonesian society with superior traits such as being religious, moderate, intelligent, knowledgeable, independent, and cooperative.

Abstract

Islam merupakan agama yang sempurna, kesempurnaannya tidak hanya dari aspek kepercayaan (aqidah) saja tetapi secara menyeluruh terkait hidup manusia yang sudah diatur dalam Alquran dan Al-Sunnah. Seiring perkembangan zaman, perilaku ekonomi manusia juga terus berkembang dan lebih kompleks, hal tersebut menuntut adanya hukum Islam yang universal dan mengikuti zaman, seperti madzhab al-Syafi’i yang terkenal dengan kitab Ar-Risalahnya dengan menetapkan sumber hukum berupa qiyas. Penelitian ini bertujuan menampilkan dinamika pengembangan qiyas dan implementasinya dalam bidang ekonomi khususnya pada transaksi al-Sharf. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan dengan jenis data berupa data sekunder yang bersumber dari jurnal-jurnal dan buku-buku yang berkaitan dengan topik penelitian. Data-data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ada tiga tahap, yakni reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengembangan qiyas mulai dari Imam al-Syafi’i hingga ke pengikutnya yang terus mengalami perubahan, serta pengimplementasian qiyas dalam sarf dipersamakan dengan pertukaran gandum dengan sejenis pada masa Rasulullah SAW yang dilakukan secara tunai dan sesuai rukun dan syarat. Hukum membolehkan praktik sharf memang bukan suatu hukum yang ditetapkan oleh imam al-Syafi’i. Hukum tersebut lahir dari para ulama Syafi’iyah dan jumhur ulama yang mengakui qiyas sebagai sumber hukum Islam, namun Imam al-Syafi’i sangat berperan penting dalam hal ini karena telah mengkodifikasi sumber hukum Islam.

Abstract

This study discusses the Development of Discipline Culture of each Student in an effort to improve discipline. Likewise, what happened at Islam Junior High School (MTs Negeri) Takalar. Where the Implementation of Vision and Mission Becomes a benchmark for achieving disciplined Students. This study is a descriptive Qualitative study, Data collection instruments are observation, interviews and documentation, Informants in this study were the head of the madrasah, deputy head of the madrasah, homeroom teachers, and subject teachers, Students. The results of the study showed that the Culture of Discipline at Islam Junior High School (MTs Negeri) Takalar is a school culture based on Islamic culture, which prioritizes emotional spiritual development and strict discipline without neglecting intellectual development. The level of discipline of students at Islam Junior High School (MTs Negeri) Takalar is quite good, several discipline factors, based on observations and data obtained, students show a fairly good level of discipline in terms of time discipline, dress discipline, discipline in class, and discipline in school activities. The impact of implementing the school's vision and mission in developing a culture of discipline at Islam Junior High School (MTs Negeri) Takalar is that the school applies a disciplined attitude to students, both directly and indirectly and consciously, where the school culture that is applied is in accordance with the vision and mission that have been prepared by the school.

Abstract

Pesantren dan moderasi beragama merupakan dua isu sentral dalam diskursus Islam di Indonesia. Pesantren, sebagai institusi pendidikan Islam tradisional, memiliki peran penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama kepada para santrinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana Pesantren Ahlus Suffah Muhammadiyah di Bantaeng, Sulawesi Selatan, menanamkan moderasi beragama sebagai nilai pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini meliputi pengasuh, guru, santri, dan keluarga santri di pesantren. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, pencatatan lapangan, dan observasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Pesantren Ahlus Suffah Muhammadiyah Banteng menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama melalui berbagai strategi dan metode, antara lain: pertama, Pendekatan keteladanan. Kedua, Metode klasikal: Nilai-nilai moderasi beragama diajarkan secara formal. Ketiga, Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler: Pesantren menyelenggarakan berbagai kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang menunjang penanaman nilai-nilai moderasi beragama. Keempat, Metode halaqah: Pembelajaran kitab kuning dengan metode halaqah menekankan pada pemahaman teks agama secara kontekstual dan kritis. Kelima, Penanaman nilai cinta tanah air dan akomodasi budaya lokal: Pesantren menanamkan nilai cinta tanah air dan penghargaan terhadap budaya lokal sebagai bagian dari moderasi beragama.

This article explores the concept of self-environment relationship from the perspective of Islamic education, emphasizing the importance of a holistic approach in preserving the environment. This study aims to analyze how Islamic education can be integrated with ecological values ​​to create collective awareness of environmental preservation. Based on the literature review, Islam teaches human responsibility as a caliph to maintain the balance of the ecosystem. This article uses a literature analysis method with an interdisciplinary approach, including the interpretation of the verses of the Qur'an, Islamic environmental ethics, and the application of these values ​​in the education system. The results of the study indicate that education based on Islamic values ​​can increase environmental awareness and provide solutions to ecological damage. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating Islamic religious education with environmental issues as a solution-oriented and sustainable strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of Academic Supervision by Madrasah Supervisors in Gowa Regency in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. Academic supervision is considered a solution to improve teacher competence, but its implementation is still considered low. This research method is field research involving interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results showed that academic supervision planning is the primary responsibility of madrasah supervisors, with the Academic Supervision Plan (RPA) as a critical instrument. Despite facing limitations such as busyness, supervisors try to be efficient by using the Bimlat. The active participation of PAI teachers in supervision planning is recognized as a crucial factor in improving the quality of PAI learning. The initial year meeting involved PAI teachers in preparing an academic supervision work plan, creating a collaborative spirit. Evaluation and analysis of supervision results and follow-up are still a challenge. Time constraints are a bottleneck, and immediate feedback is given after supervision, but comprehensive follow-up has not yet been fully implemented. This research implies that academic supervision needs to be carried out through planned, systematic, and local culture-based stages, "able sitting." Values such as deliberation, mutual respect, mutual reminding, mutual glorification, and cooperation are expected to enrich the implementation of academic supervision and improve the quality of PAI learning in madrasas.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the supervisory strategies employed by madrasah supervisors to enhance teacher competence at Madrasah Aliyah Pesantren Modern IMMIM Putera Makassar. Adopting a qualitative case study approach, the research provides a contextual analysis of academic and managerial supervision practices, as well as supporting programs such as workshops, teacher training, and classroom visits. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis and were thematically analyzed to identify effective patterns, practices, and contributions to professional development. Findings reveal that academic supervision supports teachers in understanding student characteristics, designing contextual learning, and implementing innovative instructional models such as Discovery Learning and Project-Based Learning. Managerial supervision contributes to strengthening institutional governance through the digitalization of teaching documents, collaborative forums such as teacher working groups (MGMP), and consistent supervisory visits that enhance continuous monitoring and evaluation. Moreover, participatory development programs allow teachers to improve their pedagogical and professional competence within reflective and collaborative environments. The study underscores the importance of integrating structural and humanistic approaches in supervisory practices. The active involvement of supervisors in various forms of teacher development fosters a professional climate that supports sustained improvements in teaching quality and institutional performance. This research offers empirical insights to reinforce supervisory models based on contextual needs and provides a foundation for future policy development regarding teacher coaching in Islamic educational institutions.
