Abstract

This research examines the role of Islamic religious education in overcoming juvenile delinquency at the Babakan Ciwaringin Islamic Boarding School Middle School, Cirebon. Using a qualitative case study type approach, this research collected data through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation studies. The results of the research revealed that there were cases of minor juvenile delinquency, such as skipping school, not doing assignments, and other violations of discipline. Causative factors include internal factors such as birth defects, negative traits, imbalance in meeting needs, and lack of positive hobbies, as well as external factors such as lack of parental attention, negative relationships, lack of means of channelling free time, and family/teacher ignorance in dealing with adolescent problems. Islamic religious education plays an important role in overcoming juvenile delinquency through instilling Islamic values in classroom learning and practices in the school environment, such as congregational prayers, religious lectures, maintaining cleanliness, shaking hands with teachers, and giving greetings, saying hello, smiling. This aims to form students' faithful, pious, and noble personalities to avoid deviant behaviour. This research contributes to the development of effective Islamic religious education strategies to overcome juvenile delinquency.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Al Urwatul Wutsqo Jombang is an Islamic educational institution that has an important role in shaping the character and understanding of religion among the citizens. One of the crucial aspects of Islamic religion is the law of inheritance, which regulates the division of property after a person dies. A proper understanding of the system of inheritance counting is crucial to ensuring justice and harmony in society. This study is a community dedication aimed at improving the understanding of the methods of counting inheritance among the centers of Pondok Pesantren Al Urwatul Wutsqo Jombang. The approach involved theoretical training and practical support, as well as close collaboration with the hostel manager. This training covers a basic understanding of faraidh, the principles of inheritance counting in Islam, and their practical application. The results of the study showed a significant improvement in the central understanding of the methodology of inheritance counting. Santri not only understands the basic principles of inheritance law but is also able to apply them in real-life situations. Besides, the program also empowers centers to be agents of change in their communities. The program has planned advanced activities to maintain a sustainable understanding of the hereditary calculation scheme among the centurions. Although there are some obstacles during implementation, such as a tight timetable, steps will be taken to address these challenges in the future. The dedication of this community was successful in improving the understanding of the methods of counting inheritance among the centers of the Pondok Pesantren Al Urwatul Wutsqo Jombang. It shows the importance of inclusive and interactive religious education in shaping individual character and instilling the values of justice in society.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to implement learning using Quiziz media to improve the learning achievement of students in moral beliefs in class VII A at MTsN 1 Mojokerto. This Research uses qualitative Research. This Research approach uses a case study approach. The results of this study show that 1. Learning planning with quizizz media on the subjects of moral creed, namely by adjusting the curriculum used in considering the characteristics of grade 7A students. In learning activities, teachers are expected to use lesson plans or teaching modules that are in accordance with the curriculum used. 2. Implementation of learning with quizizz media on moral creed subjects. That is, the teacher provides understanding to students through practice questions given by the teacher. 3. Evaluate learning with quizizz media on moral creed subjects. Teachers measure students' abilities using various methods, such as media or direct observation. The purpose of this measurement is to gather relevant and measurable information regarding students' understanding, knowledge, skills and attitudes.

Abstract

The background of the study is based on the low interest and motivation of students in participating in Islamic Education learning, which still dominantly uses conventional lecture methods. This study aims to measure the effect of Comic media Sahabat Anak Muslim on increasing student learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at the elementary school level. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental Pretest-Posttest Control Group design. The research subjects comprised 72 students in grades V and VI at SDN Gondang, which were divided into experimental and control groups. The instrument in the form of a learning motivation test was given before and after treatment. The results showed an increase in the average score from 77.22 to 77.78 in the experimental class, while the control class increased from 71.81 to 72.50. The paired sample t-test showed that the increase was statistically significant (p < 0.05). This finding contributes to the innovation of visual and narrative-based learning media in Islamic character education. Comic press is proven to increase students’ engagement and understanding of teaching materials in a contextual and fun way. This study suggests the need for further exploration with more diverse samples and levels of education to gain a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the effectiveness of educational media in religious education.

Abstract

The phenomenon of spiritual crisis and the increasing prevalence of psychological disorders in modern life highlights the need for approaches that integrate religious and psychological dimensions comprehensively. The practice of dhikr (remembrance of God) in the Sufi tradition, particularly within the Qadiriyah Naqshbandiyah Order (TQN), is considered a potential method for developing spiritual personality while enhancing individual mental well-being. However, studies that specifically elaborate the mechanism of dhikr in TQN as a process of spiritual personality formation remain limited. This study aims to analyze the concept of dhikr in the Qadiriyah Naqshbandiyah Order and examine its implications for the formation of spiritual personality. The research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method, drawing on classical and contemporary literature related to Sufism, tariqa traditions, and spiritual psychology. The findings indicate that dhikr in TQN is not merely a verbal activity but a process of internalizing tawhidic values encompassing cognitive, affective, and behavioral dimensions. Practices such as loud dhikr (jahr), silent dhikr (khafi), rabitah, and riyadhah significantly contribute to the development of spiritual personality, characterized by inner peace, emotional regulation, heightened God-consciousness, and the cultivation of moral virtues. The implications of this study suggest that dhikr in TQN can be positioned not only as a form of worship but also as a psychospiritual approach relevant to mental health development and holistic character formation.

Abstract

Pentingnya pola pengembangan kurikulum berkarakter untuk semua kalangan terutama di pesantren memunculkan berbagai strategi dalam menerapkanya. Strategi internalisasi dan integrasi yang dilakukan oleh berbagai lembaga untuk menjadikan peserta didik mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal. Pola pengembangan kurikulum disetiap pesantren mempunyai ciri khas khusus termasuk Nurul Ummah Mojokerto. Keunikan dalam pengembangan kurikulum tersebut adalah dengan adanya hasil yang didapatkan oleh peserta didik terbukti dengan adanya prestasi yang telah dicapai. Oleh sebab itulah pola pengembangan kurikulum ini penting untuk di teliti. Purpose-Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan pola pengembangan kurikulum berkarakter di Pesantren Nurul Ummah Mojokerto Design/methodology-Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif analitis dengan variasi studi kasus. Yaitu secara jelas menggambarkan pola pengembangan kurikulum dalam Pondok Pesantren Nurul Ummah. Findings-Pola pengembangan kurikulum yang dilaksanakan adalah pengembangan kurikulum interegatif dengan kombinasi kurikulum nasional, kurikulum internasional dengan kurikulum diniah mua`adalah Al-Azhar Mesir. Kurikulum terebut ditekankan pada pembinaan karakter peserta didik. Originality/Value-kurikulum berkarakter bisa melalui pembelajaran, budaya sekolah, kedisiplinan, pembiasaan atau melalui manajemen Pesantren, semua aspek tersebut diintegrasikan agar mendapatkan hasil dalam internalisasi karakter peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis Learning Management System (LMS) terhadap partisipasi mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi. Transformasi digital di bidang pendidikan mendorong institusi untuk mengintegrasikan LMS sebagai media pembelajaran daring maupun blended learning. Namun, keberhasilan implementasi LMS tidak hanya diukur dari aspek teknis, melainkan juga dari sejauh mana platform tersebut mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan dan partisipasi aktif mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi aktivitas pembelajaran pada LMS, serta dokumentasi interaksi daring antara dosen dan mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode untuk menjaga keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis LMS efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi mahasiswa, terutama dalam aspek keaktifan diskusi, ketepatan waktu pengumpulan tugas, dan intensitas interaksi akademik. Fitur-fitur interaktif seperti forum diskusi, kuis daring, serta sistem umpan balik yang cepat berkontribusi positif terhadap motivasi dan keterlibatan mahasiswa. Namun demikian, efektivitas LMS sangat dipengaruhi oleh desain pembelajaran yang diterapkan dosen, literasi digital mahasiswa, serta dukungan infrastruktur teknologi. Dengan demikian, LMS dapat menjadi sarana strategis dalam meningkatkan partisipasi mahasiswa apabila diintegrasikan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan berorientasi pada student-centered learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the extent to which digital training in Islamic boarding schools can improve students’ skills, expand job opportunities, and reduce unemployment in Malang City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study type. Primary data were obtained through in-depth interviews with students, Islamic boarding school administrators, and training instructors, as well as participant observation of digital training activities. Secondary data were obtained from Islamic boarding school documents, reports from the Malang City Manpower Office, and previous research related to unemployment and digital-based education. This study was conducted for four months, from February to May 2025. The research data were analyzed using several analytical methods, namely SWOT and Logic Model. The results show that job digitalization training in Islamic boarding schools can improve students’ technological literacy, particularly in digital marketing, basic graphic design, and online store management. Some students who participated in the training succeeded in developing digital-based micro-businesses or earning income through online freelancing. This study also found that infrastructure factors, instructor competence, and support from the local government, the business world, and alum networks greatly influenced the success of the training. Job digitalization training is one of the strategic and realistic solutions to address student unemployment in Malang City in the digital era.

Abstract

This study explores endeavors aimed at enhancing the caliber of Islamic religious education at SMK N 1 Bangli by fostering collaboration with Madrasah Diniyah Al-Hidayah. Data for the research was gathered through on-site observations, interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that Madrasah Diniyah plays a crucial role in augmenting comprehension of religious materials and elevating the standard of Islamic religious education within the SMK N 1 Bangli setting. This contribution is manifested through the cultivation of ethical values, curriculum enhancement, teacher capacity building, extension of instructional hours, reinforcement of worship practices, oratory skills development, and provision of facilities and infrastructure. These endeavors are in line with the principles of Islamic education encompassing moral upbringing, individual enlightenment, and societal enrichment. The research outcomes demonstrate a positive impact on enhancing the quality of Islamic religious education across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. These findings corroborate earlier research results highlighting the pivotal role of Islamic religious education in instilling moral virtues, fostering noble character, and promoting public awareness regarding the significance of Islamic education. The collaboration between SMK N 1 Bangli and Madrasah Diniyah Al-Hidayah serves as a potential model for other educational institutions seeking to enhance the quality of Islamic religious education through fruitful partnerships with religious educational establishments.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kegiatan literasi digital yang dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif antara dosen dan mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan kompetensi digital sivitas akademika. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, meliputi tahap persiapan dan analisis kebutuhan, penyusunan materi, sosialisasi dan pengenalan program, pelatihan dan pendampingan intensif, implementasi, serta evaluasi dan refleksi bersama. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa program ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kompetensi digital sivitas akademika. Program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai makna dan peran strategis teknologi dalam pembelajaran dan penelitian, tetapi juga membentuk pola pikir yang lebih kritis, reflektif, dan bertanggung jawab dalam memanfaatkannya. Peningkatan keterampilan praktis terlihat dari kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengakses, mengelola, serta memanfaatkan berbagai platform digital untuk mendukung aktivitas akademik, yang turut diiringi dengan tumbuhnya rasa percaya diri dalam menggunakan teknologi. Selain itu, proses pendampingan mendorong kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam menyaring informasi, memilih sumber yang kredibel, serta menghasilkan karya ilmiah yang lebih berkualitas. Interaksi akademik antara dosen dan mahasiswa juga menjadi lebih aktif dan partisipatif melalui pemanfaatan media digital. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam membentuk kebiasaan positif dalam penggunaan teknologi serta mendorong terciptanya budaya akademik yang adaptif, inovatif, dan berkelanjutan dalam menghadapi dinamika era digital.
