Abstract

This study delves into product placement strategies on E-commerce platforms using K-Means Clustering analysis. Employing an experimental methodology, data about products and user preferences were gathered to delineate product and user clusters. The K-Means Clustering analysis yielded three primary product clusters and four user preference clusters. These findings hold significant practical implications, empowering E-commerce platforms to refine user experience personalization, streamline sales efficiency, and bolster overall business performance. Platforms can positively influence sales conversion rates and user satisfaction by implementing targeted and adaptable product placement strategies. This research contributes not only to the theoretical comprehension of product placement in E-commerce but also furnishes actionable insights for stakeholders to optimize platform operations and deliver an enriched online shopping experience.

Abstract

This article aims to identify the use of amil rights funds obtained from the results of collecting zakat for one year to interpret QS. at-Taubah (9): 60 and related hadiths, further linked to KMA No. 606 of 2020 and MUI Fatwa No. 8 of 2011. Researchers used qualitative research methods with a normative juridical approach. Researchers used observation and literature study techniques on several interpretation books and hadiths at the data collection stage. They were then analyzed using interactive analysis models in data reduction, data presentation, and inference and verification. This research concluded that the maximum of amil zakat's rights is one-eighth of the set fund for one year, like the opinions of Mujahid and Syafi'i, then adopted into KMA No. 606 of 2020. As for the MUI Fatwa number 8 of 2011, according to the researcher, it is an ijtihad effort to overcome casualty in several locations managing amil zakat funds

Abstract

Character building is very essential for cadets. As future leaders and officers on commercial ships, they are expected to have strong personalities, be disciplined, be responsible, have high integrity, and be able to work together in a team. Based on this issue, this research aims to analyze the effect of nurturing programs, boarding schools, and social media on the character-building of Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran (PIP) Semarang cadets. This research used a quantitative method with respondents PIP Semarang cadets from the Nautical Studies, Marine Engineering, and Port and Shipping Management Study Program with a sample of 200 cadets. Sampling was conducted using a questionnaire via Google Form with a Likert scale of 1 to 4. Data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed using the SPSS 21st version program. The results of this research show that the nurturing program has a very significant influence on the character-building of cadets. Thus, if the nurturing program can be implemented well and correctly according to established norms and regulations, the character of the cadets will be built well and meet the expectations of PIP Semarang. In addition, the boarding school system has a significant influence on the character-building of cadets. A well-built Boarding School system will assist in shaping the characters of PIP Semarang cadets. Lastly, the use of social media does not significantly influence cadets' character-building since there is a regulation related to the limitation of the use of communication devices and the internet.

Abstract

There are some people who still have no idea how to properly treat fractures in the modern era. or contemporarily using the latest technology. One way to handle fractures that uses radiology technology. The aim of this community service is to increase knowledge about fracture management. Methods This community service involved demonstration and distribution of questionnaires. This was followed by distributing leaflets to provide a summary of the material. With 20 participants, the community service was conducted on June 12-13, 2023. The background of the counseling participants consisted of families of patients from various age groups and genders. The results showed that almost 95 percent of the participants had insufficient knowledge about the types of fracture treatment with a good knowledge category. In contrast, the results after demonstration, leaflet, and questionnaire refilling showed that almost 95 percent of the participants did not understand about fracture management with poor knowledge category. It can be concluded that this activity is expected to provide new knowledge to patients and their families and improve services at Semarang City Hospital.

Abstract

The current era of digitalization is experiencing very rapid changes. To adjust this, very fast adaptation is needed. Starting from the development of the younger generation in this era, we are currently in the revolution of industry 4.0. The industrial revolution 4.0 is marked by rapid developments in the IT world. The key is in several words such as automation, big data analysis, robot technology, artificial intelligence (AI), to the internet of things (IoT). While many are still adapting to the industrial revolution 4.0, the discourse about the next revolution is the Industrial Revolution 5.0 where in this era it takes knowledge, skills and character of the younger generation who are able to quickly adopt and adapt to the new technology. To keep up with this era, teacher professionalism is needed in order to educate students to become a young generation who are able to move quickly to adapt to the environment. Conducting Community Service through improving the professionalism of SMAN Mande teachers through assistance in the development of the Merdeka curriculum assessment instrument is one of the strategies to support as a support system to realize that era. A teacher with high professionalism will be able to increase the capacity and capability of his students, so that they can welcome the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and 5.0.

Abstract

Dalam perkembangan teknik printing salah satu teknik modern yang sering digunakan adalah dengan screen printing. Meningkatnya kebutuhan kaos dengan desain custom untuk keperluan instansi, komunitas dan kampanye membuat usaha screen printing kian menjamur. Didalam produksi sablon, pelaku usaha screen printing hanya akan memproduksi sesuai dengan jumlah pesanan. Namun permasalahan umum yang sering dihadapi pelaku usaha screen printing adalah keterbatasan stok bahan produksi jika terjadi banyak pesanan, dimana pesanan tersebut terjadi musiman dan tidak dapat diprediksi. Peramalan pesanan dimasa mendatang sangat berpengaruh bagi pelaku usaha sablon dalam mempersiapkan kebutuhan bahan-bahan produksi dan manajemen produksi. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi jumlah pesanan dimasa mendatang dengan menggunakan algoritma prediksi Single Exponential Smoothing sehingga memudahkan pelaku usaha screen printing dalam menentukan jumlah produksi kaos sablon dimasa periode tahun mendatang.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a decision support system to reduce traffic jams through U-turn layout engineering. We carried out data collection by recording traffic at the research site and conducting interviews through questionnaires submitted to the sources. System development stage, where this stage is divided into three major stages according to the method used, namely the RAD method. The three major stages are requirements planning, workshop design, and implementation. Based on the research results, it was found that the modeling of traffic passed by a U-turn can be identified through calculation graphs of volume, speed, density, capacity, degree of saturation, and geometric delay. Traffic flow engineering is implemented by modeling eight open U-turns, which are then eliminated or closed one by one in order to increase vehicle speed and reduce delays on that road section. We also carried out contraflow modeling for comparison. However, the results obtained were no better than U-turn elimination. The largest average number of motorbikes at the end of the week was only 300 motorbikes on Saturday. Meanwhile, the largest average of motorbikes on weekdays was 400 motorbikes on Thursday. The design combines two WFA methods and the fuzzy logic method to present several alternative decisions in the form of final values and bar graphs. These alternatives can be used as material for expert consideration in decision-making. A graph can serve as a benchmark when eliminating U-turns and testing contraflow on the road. Eliminating U-turns and testing contraflow on the road can provide an alternative decision solution using the largest graph.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggambarkan kasus kecurangan yang terjadi pada PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk, yang melibatkan manipulasi data laporan keuangan. Kasus tersebut melibatkan penyajian laporan keuangan yang tidak akurat dan merugikan pemangku kepentingan perusahaan. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang menggabungkan studi kasus dan analisis laporan keuangan, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi pola kecurangan dan dampaknya terhadap perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kasus ini dapat dikategorikan sebagai fraud menurut hukum Indonesia dan Asosiasi Pemeriksa Fraud Bersertifikat (ACFE), menggambarkan kompleksitas dan seriusnya permasalahan integritas dalam tata kelola perusahaan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan penting dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanggulangan kecurangan di perusahaan di masa depan. Dalam menganalisis kasus ini, penelitian ini merujuk pada kerangka teori akuntansi forensik, prinsip akuntansi, dan regulasi keuangan yang berlaku. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman komprehensif tentang dampak kecurangan dalam laporan keuangan dan mempertimbangkan peran penting auditor dalam mendeteksi dan mencegah kecurangan di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem rekomendasi buku dengan metode item-based collaborative filtering menggunakan algoritma K-Nearest Neighbors. Algoritma K-Nearest Neighbors dipilih karena K-Nearest Neighbors memiliki kemampuan dalam mengukur kesamaan antar item berdasarkan perhitungan jarak, sehingga menghasilkan rekomendasi yang relevan bagi pengguna. Menggunakan metode yang melibatkan pengolahan data rating pengguna terhadap buku, diikuti dengan pembentukan model menggunakan pendekatan item-based untuk menemukan buku-buku yang serupa. Pengujian model dilakukan menggunakan teknik cross-validation dengan evaluasi metrik Root Mean Square Error dan Mean Absolute Error untuk mengukur akurasi rekomendasi. Dari penelitian ini, hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa model yang diusulkan memiliki tingkat akurasi yang baik, dengan nilai rata-rata RMSE sebesar 0.8191 dan MAE sebesar 0.6235. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna dalam menemukan buku-buku yang sesuai dengan preferensi pengguna, serta memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pengembangan sistem rekomendasi berbasis machine learning.

Abstract

Toko Amalia merupakan toko sembako grosir dan ecer yang berdiri sejak tahun 1985. Saat ini toko memiliki dua gudang untuk tempat persediaan stok barang. Toko amalia bisa dikatakan aktif dalam penjualan dan pembelian stok barang, toko belum memiliki system yang memadai untuk mengelola data persediaan barang. Informasi mengenai persediaan barang masih disimpan secara manual dalam beberapa buku, hanya mencatat persediaan barang masuk dan barang keluar tanpa detail lebih lanjut yang sering menyebabkan kehilangan nota pembelian karena arsip tidak teratur sehingga sering terjasi kehilangan data. Tujuan dirancangnya sistem persediaan barang adalah memberikan kemudahan bagi toko amalia untuk mengelola seluruh informasi persediaan. Untuk bahasa pemograman yang dipakai ialah PHP serta menggunakan metode waterfall dan pengelola databasenya menggunakan MySQL. Perancangan sistem ini juga berdasarkan kebutuhan melalui wawancara dan observasi langsung ke tempat lokasi. Berdasarkan penelitian menghasilkan sistem persediaan barang berbasis web yang mengelola sistem persediaan barang yang ada di gudang toko amalia. Pengujian sistem menggunakan metode blackbox pada setiap fitur dan hasilnya menunjukkan berhasil semua. Adapun pengujian pengguna yaitu dengan memberikan kuesioner kepada pengguna yang menunjukkan hasil sebesar 86,90%, berdasarkan hasil dari seluruh pengujian pada sistem menunjukkan hasil bahwa sistem berhasil dirancang dan berfungsi dengan baik sesuai kebutuhan pengguna.
