Abstract

This research is aimed to know: (1) Whether the increasing of mathematical concept understanding ability students through problem-based learning model assisted Autograph better than the increasing of mathematical concept understanding ability students through problem-based learning model assisted Geogebra, (2) How the interaction between learning and early math  ability of student mathematical concept understanding, The population are all students of SMA Free Methodist Medan. Then randomly selected two classes of four classes. The first experimental class were treated by problem-based learning model with assisted Autograph and the second experimental grade treated by problem-based learning model with assisted Geogebra. Data analysis was performed by analysis of variance (ANOVA) and two lanes. The research shows that: (1) The increasing of mathematical concept understanding abilities students through problem-based learning model assisted Autograph better than the increasing of mathematical concept understanding abilities students through problem-based learning model assisted Geogebra. (2) There is no Interaction between learning and early math ability of student mathematical concept understanding ability.

Abstract

Mitra kegiatan PKM ini adalah dua sekolah mitra UMSU, yakni SMP Satu Nusa Binjai dan SMA Satu Nusa Binjai. Guru-guru pada dua sekolah tersebut diberikan pelatihan pembuatan media kuis interaktif online quizizz. Target khusus yang ingin dicapai melalui pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM ini menghasilkan guru-guru melek teknologi dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dan evaluasi pembelajaran secara daring/online. Guru yang mendapat manfaat dari kegiatan pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi dan pengimbasan kepada guru-guru bidang studi lain di sekolah mereka atau dalam kegiatan MGMP masing masing kelompok guru bidang studi. Metode pendekatan yang ditawarkan pada kegiatan PKM ini adalah pendampingan penuh dengan tahapan: 1) Pertemuan awal kepada guru mitra dalam kegiatan penyamaan persepsi tentang pentingnya IT dalam pembelajaran dan evaluasi pembelajaran, 2) Pelatihan intensif mengembangkan soal pr/kuis/ujian dan aplikasi soal kuis/ujian daring/online pada media kuis interaktif online quizizz, 3) FGD terkait media kuis interaktif online quizizz yang dikembangkan dalam pelaksanaan pr/kuis/ujian siswa, 4) Simulasi/praktek uji coba langsung dan 5) evaluasi hasil kegiatan.

Abstract

This study aimed to help improve school financial management by diverting the recording of financial data manually and presenting it manually through an android-based financial report presentation model to Muhammadiyah Vocational Schools in Medan City. The android-based financial report presentation model is carried out using descriptive qualitative methods based on the level of effectiveness and efficiency of using tools in the process of analyzing school financial data and supporting government efforts to reduce community activities outside the home, including education workers in order to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus as well as in efforts to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus in improving the quality of education through the use and use of technology. This research was carried out in several stages, starting from the stage of determining the problem, finding supporting data, and reaching the stage of data analysis; a model was obtained that was able to improve time efficiency in the presentation of financial statements when this model was applied to Muhammadiyah Vocational Schools in particular and other schools in Indonesia. Abstract

This study explains the factual about learning using online media during long-distance lectures during the Covid 19 epidemic. Some students are used as a source of information using a qualitative approach method. By using behaviorism and cognitive theory.Online Distance Learning can take advantage of social media with virtual online learning via video conferencing, teleconferences, in groups on social media. Social media is a way out to get rid of boredom or stress from studying at home. Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a serious impact on all life on earth. The world of education, including other sectors, must adapt quickly. Likewise in terms of education must adapt in tackling this pandemic. One of the efforts made in tackling this pandemic is by holding tutoring for students, especially elementary school students who have only received learning through gadgets or whatsapp media by their teachers without getting an explanation beforehand so they don't understand what they are studying. This community service was carried out at the Al-Ikhlas Mosque in the neighborhood of Gelugur Darat, Medan Timur. The method used in the form of providing tutoring for one month. The results obtained in the provision of tutoring is a positive response from the National Mosque Council and parents of students. Parents are very supportive and greatly helped by the existence of tutoring which is carried out free of charge. Another result is that students learn to be independent in doing school assignments, and some of them are able to read and count.

Abstract

Media Pembelajaran sangat berperan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Dengan pemanfaatan media siswa akan lebih tertarik dalam belajar serta dapat mengasah pengetahuan mereka demi mencapai tujuan pembelajaran.  Pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dengan penggunaan ICT misalnya mampu nemarik minat siswa untuk lebih mendalami materi yang diajarkan. Terlebih jika guru yang bersangkutan menerapkan pembelajaran yang aktif, inovatif, kreatif, efektif dan menyenangkan (PAIKEM).  Namun sayangnya masih banyak guru yang tidak memperdulikan pemanfaatan ICT serta kegunaannya dalam proses pembelajaran. Beberapa guru yang telah diwawancarai mengaku bahwa tidak menggunakan ICT seperti software Geogebra dikarenakan tidak pandai dalam mengoperasikan software tersebut. Hal inilah yang menjadi latar belakang tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini yakni untuk membantu guru-guru matematika khususnya menggunakan software Geogebra sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran dalam matematika. Kegiatan yang dikemas dengan pelatihan langsung ini telah meningkatkan pengetahuan guru-guru matematika di Yayasan Perguruan Free Methodis Indonesia, serta guru matematika yang diundang dari sekolah lainnya. Fitur-fitur yang terdapat di dalam software Geogebra seperti lingkaran, bangun datar, bangun ruang, persamaan garis dan sebagainya sukses dipahami dan dioperasikan oleh guru-guru tersebut.

Abstract

This activity is entitled Strengthening teachers in preparing quizziz-based student worksheets at SD Muhammadiyah 29 Sunggal, Deli Serdang Regency. The purpose of this activity is to provide reinforcement for teachers at SD Muhammadiyah 29 in implementing learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The strengthening in question is training and assistance in the management of Quizziz-assisted evaluation. This needs to be done in order to improve the quality of education in schools which are part of the Muhammadiyah organization's charitable efforts. The method used in this activity is training with the steps of preparation, implementation and evaluation. The success of this activity is not only on the teacher's understanding of using the Quizziz application during training, but is the application in each class to increase students' interest and motivation to learn.

Abstract

Penggunaan media secara kreatif akan membuat siswa belajar lebih baik dan dapat meningkatkan penampilan mereka sesuai dengan tujuan yang ingin dicapai. Apalagi jika proses belajar mengajar yang dilakukan di sekolah adalah Pembelajaran yang Aktif, Inovatif, Kreatif, Efektif dan Menyenangkan (PAIKEM). Salah satu cara untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran tersebut adalah pemanfaatan Information, Communication, Technology (ICT) berupa software matematika bagi guru matematika. Faktanya banyak guru matematika yang tidak pernah memanfaatkan software pembelajaran matematika dalam proses pembelajaran. Kurangnya kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan software-software pembelajaran matematika, adanya tuntutan untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis ICT serta ketidakmampuan beberapa guru matematika mengoperasikan software Geogebra, merupakan beberapa hal yang menjadi permasalahan khusus yang dihadapi oleh mitra. Pelaksanaan pelatihan tentang metode – metode pembelajaran serta media pembelajaran berbasis ICT tentang penggunaan software Geogebra bagi guru matematika menjadi salah satu solusi dari beberapa masalah mitra yang telah dilaksanakan. Kegiatan Pengabdian melalui pemanfaatan software geogebra ini telah meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran bagi guru matematika di yayasan Perguruan Free Methodist Indonesia, Yayasan Perguruan Bandung Medan, serta beberapa sekolah lainnya. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah peningkatan hasil belajar pengembangan silabus pembelajaran matematika mahasiswa melalui model pembelajaran guided discovery learning lebih tinggi daripada peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa yang tidak memperoleh model pembelajaran guided discovery learning yang dilakukan dengan pembelajaran daring selama pandemic covid 19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas prodi pendidikan matematika semester Lima yang berjumlah kurang lebih 74 orang. Kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran guided discovery learning dan kelas control tidak diberi perlakuan pembelajaran guided discovery learning. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes uraian. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis varians (ANAVA) dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa melalui model pembelajaran guided discovery learning lebih tinggi daripada peningkatan hasil belajar pada mahasiswa yang tidak diberi perlakuan (kelas kontrol).
