Abstract

Modern economy places capital as a strategic element in driving business growth, especially for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This study aims to analyze the effect of working capital financing on the business development of customers of PT Federal International Finance (FIFGROUP) Muara Sabak Branch in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. The approach used is quantitative with a simple linear regression method. A sample of 100 respondents was selected using cluster sampling techniques from a population of 134 customers. The research instrument has been tested for validity and reliability, and data processing was carried out using SPSS version 16.0. The results of the study indicate that working capital financing has a positive and significant effect on business development (tcount = 4.193; sig. = 0.000), with a regression equation of Y = 13.193 + 0.301X. However, its contribution to the variation in business development is only 15.2% (R² = 0.152), indicating that there are other factors outside of financing that play a role. These findings suggest the importance of integrating financing with training, business mentoring, and market access to encourage sustainable MSME growth

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mechanism of the implementation of cattle arisan and analyze its role in improving the economic welfare of the community in Air Hitam Laut Village. Cattle arisan is a form of local wisdom based on mutual cooperation carried out by the community as an alternative to fulfilling the needs of sacrificial animals and a means of long-term collective investment. This activity not only has social and spiritual value, but also has a significant economic impact on participants. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, in-depth interviews with arisan participants, community leaders, and religious leaders, as well as documentation from the cattle arisan group. Data analysis is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of cattle arisan begins with the formation of small groups in the hamlet or RT environment. Group members agree on routine monthly contributions collected to buy one cow every month. In the perspective of Islamic economics, cattle arisan is a form of ta'awun (mutual assistance) that is in accordance with sharia principles, free from usury, gharar, and maysir, and reflects justice and the spirit of empowering the people's economy.
