Abstract

The importance of motivation in improving student learning outcomes serves as the primary background of this study, particularly for fifth-grade students at public elementary schools in the Kelapa Lima subdistrict. Learning motivation is viewed as an internal factor with a significant impact on students’ academic achievement. The objective of this study is to examine the effect of motivation on student learning outcomes. A quantitative method with a simple linear regression approach was employed. The sample consisted of 69 students, randomly selected from a population of 225 using a random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed statistically. The results show a positive and significant influence of motivation on learning outcomes, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.738, indicating that motivation contributes 73.8% to student learning outcomes. The study concludes that learning motivation has a significant effect on the academic achievement of fifth-grade students. The implication of these findings highlights the critical role of teachers and schools in fostering and developing student motivation to enhance the overall quality of learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan tes, serta refleksi. Jumlah subjek penelitian 17 orang yang terdiri dari 9 laki-laki dan 7 perempuan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Nulaina, dengan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I dari 17 peserta didik yang tuntas 7 orang (41,12%) karena memperhatikan penjelasan guru, tidak bermain pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung, ikut aktif dalam kelompok dan mengerjakan soal dengan benar. Sedangkan yang tidak tuntas 10 orang (58,82%) karena tidak memperhatikan guru pada saat pembelajaran, suka mengganggu teman, tidak aktif dalam kelompok, suka bercerita dan bermain pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung, dan tidak mengerjakan soal dengan benar. Selanjutnya pada siklus II hasil belajar peserta didik mengalami peningkatan yaitu dari 17 peserta didik yang tuntas 15 orang (88%) karena peserta didik saling bekerja sama dan aktif dalam kelompok, peserta didik konsentrasi dan terlibat langsung dalam pembelajaran berlangsung dan mampu mengerjakan soal dengan benar. Sedangkan 2 orang yang tidak tuntas (11%) dikarenakan masih asik sendiri pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung sehingga 2 orang yang tidak tuntas pada siklus II akan diberikan pengayaan oleh wali kelas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas dapat disimpulkan Penerapan Model Problem Based Learnig dapat Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas VA SDN Nulaina

Abstract

This research was conducted at SDI Labat, Kupang City with research results showing that the forms of student delinquency are ordinary delinquency, delinquency that leads to criminal offenses, conscious and deliberate delinquency and unconscious and unintentional delinquency. The factors that cause student delinquency are family factors, namely parents are busy with work so they cannot pay attention and look after their children directly, the family economy is very poor so that children's needs are not met, and there is no continuity between the family and the school environment such as work. Community environmental factors, namely without parental supervision in playing. School environmental factors where students are surrounded by families with different characters, so that in school often results in things that are not good for moral development which causes delinquency. Efforts made to overcome students' delinquent behavior include verbal warnings, special attention, habituation, providing rules and creating interesting and creative learning activities..

Abstract

This research was conducted at UPTD SD Negeri 1 Bonipoi Kupang City, with 20 subjects, 8 male students and 12 female students. In this research, the techniques used were observation and test techniques. Based on the results of the initial data test, the results of the study showed that in cycle 1 out of 20 students, 12 students completed (60%) because students prepared themselves to learn well, listened to the teacher's explanation regarding the material on hearing because of sound well, sat quietly responding to directions from the teacher, asked about material that was not yet understood. The other 8 students (40%) had not reached the completion standard because students did not pay enough attention to the teacher's delivery of topics, students were not orderly and students were less active in learning. Furthermore, in cycle 2, student learning outcomes increased from 20 students, 18 students completed (90%) because students prepared themselves to study well, students were able to work on LKPD from the teacher, students were able to work together in groups, students sat quietly and listened to directions from the teacher, while 2 other students had not completed (10%) because students did not pay enough attention to questions from the teacher, students were not focused on following the learning, students still did not understand the learning material. Based on the research results above, it is concluded that in the application of genially-based learning media in science learning, the listening material is because of the sound on student learning outcomes and is in accordance with the minimum completion criteria expected by researchers

Abstract

The objective of this study is to improve students' learning outcomes in understanding heat transfer in our surroundings through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The PBL model was chosen because it is believed to encourage students to think critically, be active, and discover concepts through contextual problem-solving. This approach is expected to help students more easily grasp the abstract concept of heat transfer through meaningful learning experiences.The results of the study showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes. The percentage of students who met the Minimum Competency Criteria (KKM) increased from 59% in the first cycle to 88% in the second cycle. In conclusion, the application of the Problem Based Learning model is effective in enhancing students’ understanding of heat transfer concepts and can be considered an effective science learning strategy at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study consists of several stages, namely planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive qualitative by finding the completeness of student learning outcomes through observation sheets and tests with 32 research subjects consisting of 19 men and 17 women. This research was conducted at UPTD SD Negeri Naikoten with the results of the study showing that in cycle I of 32 students who completed, 10 students (51.25%) completed because they understood the material presented and did the test questions correctly. While those who did not complete were 22 students (68.75%) who did not complete because they did not pay attention to the teacher's explanation so they were unable to do the test questions given. The strengths and weaknesses of the teacher are that the teacher delivers the material clearly, the teacher gives students the opportunity to ask questions about the material presented and the teacher does not guide students to conclude the material. The strengths and weaknesses of the students are that the students pay attention to the teacher's explanation of the material and the students are unable to do the questions correctly. In cycle II, the learning outcomes of students increased from 32 students who completed, 31 students (96.87%) completed because they were active in learning, worked together with groups, understood the material presented and were able to do the test questions correctly. Based on the results of the study above, it can be concluded that the application of the project based learning model in science learning to improve the learning outcomes of grade IV students of UPTD SD Negeri Naikoten, can improve the learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi Energi listrik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) di kelas V SD Inpres Kuanino 3 Kota Kupang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian siklus I dari 22 orang siswa yang tuntas 10 orang (45,45%) yang tidak tuntas 12 orang (54,55%) dengan nilai rata-rata 70,91% pada pembelajaran siklus I ini peserta didik kurang fokus dalam mendengarkan penjelasan guru sehingga hasil belajar siklus 1 belum mencapai   KKTP Yang Ditentukan Sekolah yaitu 75 maka penelitian ini dilanjutkan ke siklus  II. Selanjutnya pada sisklus II   dari jumlah peserta didik 22 orang   yang tuntas 19 orang(86,36) yang tidak tuntas 3 orang(13,64) hal ini menunjukan pembelajaran pada siklus I telah mencapai  indikator keberhasilan yang ditentukan yaitu 80% sehingga penelitian menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) ini dapat dihentikan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL)pada materi energi listrik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Inpres Kuanino 3 Kota Kupang.

Abstract

Elementary School subjects that combine Natural Sciences (IPA) and Social Sciences (IPS) are Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS). This subject studies living things, inanimate objects, and the interactions between the two, as well as human life as individuals and social beings who interact with their environment. Therefore, supporting tools are needed in the learning process that occurs in the classroom such as innovative learning media to facilitate student understanding. Learning media are tools or means used in the teaching and learning process to facilitate the delivery of material and increase the effectiveness of learning, for example quizwhizzer, an interactive game-based learning platform designed to make the learning process more interesting and enjoyable. Based on the study above, this study focuses on testing this application as a learning medium in the material of sounds around us for fifth grade students at Batuplat 1 Elementary School using a quantitative approach.

Abstract

The formulation of the research problem is: how to apply the inquiry learning model to improve the learning outcomes of science on the material of sound properties in grade IV SD Negeri Batuplat 1. The purpose of this study is to determine how to apply the inquiry learning model to improve student learning outcomes on the material of sound properties in grade IV SD Negeri Batuplat. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) which is conducted through a collaborative process between researchers and class teachers and the research subjects are 26 students from grade IV of Batuplat 1 elementary school consisting of 19 males and 7 females. This research was conducted in two cycles, the method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews, posttests and pretests, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that there is progress in student learning outcomes using the inquiry learning model, this is evidenced by the achievement of the average student score increasing to 92.64%. the results of this increase can be seem from the posttest and pretest scores as well as the observation scores given. Based on the research results above, it is concluded that the application of learning using the inquiry learning model to improve the learning outcomes of grade IV students of Batuplat q elementary school kupang city is very beneficial.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inquiry terbimbing terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi murid kelas III SD GMIT Kuanino 2 pada mata pelajaran IPAS topik “Energi di Sekitar Kita”. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental tipe One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel berjumlah 14 murid yang diambil secara sampel jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes (pretest dan posttest) untuk mengukur hasil belajar dan lembar observasi untuk keterlaksanaan model serta keterampilan kolaborasi murid. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 < 0,05, sehingga terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest. Selain itu, hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa model inquiry terbimbing mampu melatih keterampilan kolaborasi murid selama proses pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inquiry terbimbing berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi murid kelas III di SD GMIT Kuanino 2.
