Abstract

Mineral water is a type of water that contains natural minerals or other dissolved substances that can provide taste and health benefits. However, the selection of the most favorite mineral water among students is still not accurate. This is what makes the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method as data processing as the selection of the most favourite mineral water and generates a ranking of the weight calculation of the mineral water selection. The SAW method is used to solve qualitative problems in the selection of mineral water, comparing one criterion to another in order to assess each brand of mineral water in the UINSU Tuntungan area and provide the results of the selection of the most favourite mineral water. This study used 100 student data, 5 brands of mineral water, and 6 criteria, namely price, taste, packaging, water quality, brand, and availability. After determining the weight value of each attribute using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), each alternative is chosen using ranking. This technique facilitates decision-making and yields the optimum outcome. When it comes to selecting mineral water, the findings of this study offer the finest option.

Abstract

Customer loyalty to Islamic banks is one of the keys to sustainability for the Islamic banking industry, especially in strong competition facing conventional banks and financial technology (fintech) innovation. Nevertheless, literature regarding this topic has not been systematically mapped. Using a bibliometric approach, this study analyzes the publication trends, leading researchers, and collaboration patterns in Islamic bank customer loyalty studies. The Web of Science (WoS) is used to collect data and the keywords for customer loyalty and Islamic banks, and the time range of 2010 to 2024 is utilized for this study. Analysis using NVivo 12 and Voyant Tools (for network mapping and descriptive statistics) In the results of the study, 174 published documents were identified, where research articles predominated, a total of 156 articles. This publication trend has been on the rise, even peaking in 2023 with 30 publications. Indonesia and Malaysia stand out geographically as the leading contributors, mirroring the role of both countries as the strategic focal point of Islamic financial development. The most highly productive institutions are establishments such as Bandung State Polytechnic (Indonesia) and International Islamic University Malaysia (Malaysia). These findings offer an invaluable literature map so that further research and strategic ante-projects could be developed, of course with some added value for Islamic banking practitioners in its context of increasing customer loyalty. This study contributes to the academic knowledge with a bibliometric method, which is not widely used in the Islamic banking context.

Abstract

This study looks into how social factors like social interaction, family support, and career orientation, along with curriculum elements, especially the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka Curriculum (MBKM), influence the entrepreneurial intentions of students at Islamic religious universities in Indonesia. The research uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. A total of 392 students from ten Islamic religious universities across Indonesia took part in the study. The findings revealed that social interaction and family support had a significant impact on students' entrepreneurial intentions, whereas career orientation did not have a notable effect. The introduction of the MBKM curriculum greatly boosts students' entrepreneurial intentions. These results provide both theoretical insights and practical guidance for promoting entrepreneurship in Islamic religious universities. They highlight the importance of MBKM policies, reinforced by social factors such as social interaction and family support, in nurturing students' entrepreneurial spirit. Therefore, combining the MBKM curriculum with a supportive social environment could be an effective strategy to build an entrepreneurial ecosystem within Islamic religious universities in Indonesia.

Abstract

In the digital economy era, e-commerce platforms like Shopee receive thousands of user reviews daily, which significantly influence customer perceptions and purchasing decisions. However, sentiment analysis of such reviews remains challenging due to the presence of noise, uncertainty, and dynamic data changes. This quantitative research aims to develop a more reliable sentiment classification model by integrating a Lexicon-Based labeling approach and Support Vector Machine (SVM) classification with a Robust Optimization framework. The labeling process uses a sentiment lexicon dictionary that assigns polarity values to words, classifying texts into positive, negative, or neutral categories. The classification process utilizes SVM to evaluate sentiment prediction based on key performance metrics: Accuracy, Precision, Recall, and F1-score. These performance metrics are treated as uncertain parameters in the optimization phase. The main contribution of this study is the formulation of a robust optimization model for sentiment analysis weighting problems, transforming a multi-criteria objective into a single-objective utility function. By applying polyhedral uncertainty modeling, the robust counterpart formulation accounts for worst-case scenarios in model evaluation. Numerical experiments using Python in Google Colab show that while the deterministic model achieves a higher performance score (0.865), the robust model yields a slightly lower score (0.825) but offers better stability under uncertainty. These results imply that robust optimization can enhance the reliability of sentiment classification systems in real-world e-commerce applications, providing more trustworthy insights for businesses in managing consumer feedback.

Abstract

Poverty is a problem that occurs throughout the world, especially in developing countries such as Indonesia. With a very dense population, especially in big cities, Indonesia faces various social problems. The poverty rate in Cilegon City in the last six years has fluctuated. However, the poverty line has consistently increased from IDR 428,867 in 2018 to IDR 663,533 in 2024. In 2023, the poverty rate in Cilegon City reached 3.98%, an increase of 0.34% compared to 3.64% in 2022. However, in 2024, the poverty rate decreased slightly to 3.75%.Consolidation of Targeting Data for the Acceleration of the Elimination of Extreme Poverty (P3KE) & Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) by going through a data matching process using NIK (Population Identification Number) and Name data. The process is carried out by involving the SIKS -NG Operator (Next Generation Social Welfare Information System), which then after the matching results are known, they are then processed in Microsoft Excel Working paper to facilitate analysis and updating, so that the intersection between P3KE and DTKS data will be known. In the context of P3KE (Targeting the Acceleration of the Elimination of Extreme Poverty) data, ranking refers to the grouping of households based on welfare levels.

Abstract

The climate in Indonesia, which is a tropical region, is always uncertain and makes it difficult to predict weather conditions. Weather conditions can be influenced by rainfall, air temperature, wind speed, air humidity and light radiation intensity. Rainfall is relatively high and varies throughout the year, the average monthly rainfall is around 150-300 mm in the rainy season and 50-100 mm in the dry season. There are several characteristics of rainfall, namely convective rain, frontal rain and orographic rain. For this reason, a method is needed that can solve problems in predicting monthly rainfall properties using the Monte Carlo simulation method. From this study, the results of the prediction of rainfall properties were obtained with 36 data from 2021 to 2024 which had a MAPE test result of 12.28%. The test results came from the average calculation carried out on the Monte Carlo method prediction with 5 variables.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to explore social and institutional dynamics in the implementation of digital village service applications as part of the Smart Village program in South Arut District, Central Kalimantan. The phenomenon studied focuses on the readiness of village apparatus, changes in administrative culture, community response, as well as local obstacles and adaptation in facing digital transformation. This study uses a qualitative approach of the case study type to understand the process, meaning, and experiences of the perpetrators in depth. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with village officials, community leaders, and residents, participatory observation during training and implementation activities, and documentation from service archives and village reports. The results of the study identified four main themes, namely: (1) the readiness and challenges of village apparatus in technology adoption, (2) the transformation of administrative work culture from manual to digital systems, (3) diverse community responses and participation, and (4) technical barriers such as limited internet networks and locally developed collaborative solutions. These findings suggest that the success of the digitization of village services depends not only on technology, but also on local social, cultural, and institutional readiness. This research contributes to the development of literature on village digitalization, especially in non-urban areas, and presents practical implications for policymakers and implementers of Smart Village programs. The study also recommends the need for long-term mentoring and community-based approaches to ensure the sustainability of digital innovation at the village level.
