Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan yang terus berkembang, penggunaan teknologi menjadi semakin penting untuk membangun keterlibatan serta hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan aplikasi Wordwall sebagai alat evaluasi pemahaman peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) kelas IV di SD Muhammadiyah 9 Surabaya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi empat tahapan.yaitu pengumpulan data, redukasi data,penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Wordwall mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan, antusiasme, dan motivasi peserta didik selama proses evaluasi. Fitur kuis interaktif, tampilan visual yang menarik, serta bentuk permainan edukatif membuat peserta didik lebih mudah memahami materi IPAS dan aktif mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran. Guru juga memiliki peran penting dalam memanfaatkan Wordwall, mulai dari penyusunan soal sesuai kurikulum hingga pendampingan peserta didik selama evaluasi, sehingga proses penilaian menjadi lebih efisien dan bermakna. Secara keseluruhan, Wordwall terbukti menjadi media evaluasi yang relevan, interaktif, dan mampu mengoptimalkan kualitas pembelajaran serta hasil belajar peserta didik di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the reading comprehension skills of fourth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 24 Surabaya while participating in the literacy program. This study also uses descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques and triangulation techniques and sources. The data collection technique was triangulation technique, namely observation, interviews and documentation, while the source triangulation used was students and homeroom teachers for grade IV and school principals. The data analysis is a qualitative data analysis technique through the reduction stage, data presentation and the final stage is drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the study showed that there was an increase and change in students' reading comprehension skills after participating in the literacy program held by the school as seen from students being able to capture reading content, summarizing reading content, answering questions according to reading content and students being able to retell reading content. The supporting and supporting factors for the implementation of the literacy program are the human resources, namely students, teachers and schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan media pembelajaran Lectora dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPAS) materi Organ Pencernaan Manusia menggunakan Kurikulum Merdeka kelas 5 di SD Muhammadiyah 25 Surabaya Pada tanggal 25 Oktober 2023. Subjek penelitian ini yakni 3 anak kelas 5 yang mengalami kesulitan memahami materi IPAS materi Pencernaan. Peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data Observasi, Wawancara, dan Dokumentasi serta menggunakan Teknik analisis data milik Miles and Huberman dengan 3 tahapan yakni Reduksi data, Penyajian Data dan terakhir Penarikan Kesimpulan. hasil observasi, ditemukan kendala pada siswa disebabkan pembelajaran yang menggunakan teacher sentered learning, dengan metode ceramah dan buku teks sederhana, alternatif digital yang digunakan terbatas akibat kekurangan fasilitas. Keterbatasan visualisasi pada buku teks menjadi faktornya. Dengan bantuan Penggunaan media lectora terlihat keaktifan siswa membaik. Menurut hasil wawancara media lectora sudah memenuhi standar indikator yang ditetapkan kesesuaian materi serta konsep yang mudah dipahami dengan kejelasan tulisan yang disertai dengan dukungan visual yang menarik terbukti dapat memberi dampak positif yang dibuktikan dengan peningkatan nilai pada hasil dokumentasi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media Lectora bermanfaat dalam memperjelas konsep IPAS Materi Pencernaan, berdampak baik pada keaktifan partisipasi siswa, dan mengatasi keterbatasan fasilitas. Penelitian ini menyarankan penerapan media interaktif Lectora sebagai solusi untuk kendala dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Oleh karena itu, hal ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi positif untuk pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan menarik di masa depan.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of describing the application of the Kahoot application as a science learning medium for grade 4 students. This type of research used qualitative methods with the research subjects being the Principal, class teacher, and grade IV students at SD YP Nasional Surabaya. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of research regarding the analysis of the application of the Kahoot application as a learning medium in the Independent Curriculum at elementary school level in science and science subjects, it can be applied as a technology-based learning medium by teachers because the Kahoot application is fun.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1) to produce learning media Pop up book for reading skills of grade 1 students of SDN Godog; 2) to describe the quality of the Pop Up Book quality of Pop Up Book learning media products for reading skills of grade 1 students of SDN Godog based on product validity. This research uses the research method (R&D). Development research This development research refers to the 4-D development model development model developed by Thiagarajan which It consists of the stages: defining, designing, developing and disseminating. However, this research only reached the development stage. Subjects in this research The subjects in this study were grade 1 students of SDN Godog. The instruments used in this research The instruments used in this study were validation sheets, questionnaires, and tests. The results of this study is the overall validity test gets a high score with criteria very feasible. Pop up book media validation got a score with an average of 88% very feasible criteria. Test based on teacher's response showed 91% and parent's response showed 90%, both with the criteria “very practical”, and the effectiveness of Pop up book media is declared “effective”. This can be seen from the test questions that have been done. Thus, the development of Pop up book media on material recognizes the letters of the alphabet for reading skills of grade 1 students elementary school has been feasible, and is feasible to be applied to Indonesian language learning on material to recognize the letters of the alphabet.

Abstract

This research aims to develop animated video media with the IPAS Project Based Learning (PJBL) learning model for Class V Elementary School with a focus on human respiratory system material. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 23 fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya. The instruments used were validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The results of media and material validation obtained a score of 92.5% (Very Feasible), media practicality based on teacher and student responses of 87% (Very Practical), and media effectiveness shown by learning completeness of 91.3% (Very Effective). These results show that Animated Video Media with Project Based Learning (PJBL) IPAS Learning Model for Grade V Elementary School is feasible, practical, and effective to use in IPAS learning on human respiratory system material.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between curiosity and students' problem-solving abilities in the subject of science in grade 6 elementary school students. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with a measuring instrument using a correlation mode. The population and sample in this study were 30 respondents. The sampling technique used saturated sampling, namely the entire population was used as a research sample. The data analysis technique used in this study used a correlation test using the IBM SPSS 32 application. The objects of this study were grade 6 elementary school students of SDN Kadungrembug, with a total of 30 respondents. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between curiosity and students' critical thinking abilities. The greater the curiosity of students, the better the students' critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of literacy learning and its implications for the speaking ability of third-grade students at Dapena Elementary School, Surabaya, with indicators of speaking ability, namely fluency, pronunciation, intonation, vocabulary, and student understanding. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with triangulation data collection between observation, interviews and documentation supported by questionnaires to determine the development of third-grade students' speaking ability and uses Miles and Huberman data analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that literacy learning has a positive implication for the development of students' speaking ability quite significantly. The implication of this study shows that literacy learning needs to be implemented in a structured and sustainable manner to improve students' speaking ability optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the form of learning disorder in students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) characteristics in understanding the concept of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) in grade III Elementary School. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design to examine in depth the phenomenon of learning difficulties in IPAS in students with ADHD in the natural context of the school. The study was conducted at Muhammadiyah 18 Elementary School in Surabaya with five third-grade students who were indicated to have ADHD characteristics as subjects. Data collection techniques included observation of learning behavior, semi-structured interviews with class teachers, and questionnaires to students to strengthen the validity of the findings. The results of the study showed several forms of difficulties, namely: (1) difficulty maintaining focus and concentration; (2) difficulty understanding long or gradual instructions; (3) obstacles in behavioral control and task management, such as impulsiveness and forgetfulness; and (4) low learning independence that requires intensive guidance and repetition of the material. Teachers are advised to apply adaptive learning strategies, utilize visual media, and simplify instructions according to the individual needs of students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe of implementing the "Time Machine" project in improving fourth-grade elementary school students' ability to analyze chain causality and ethical actions in science learning. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method conducted over one learning cycle at one of public elementary school, involving a fourth-grade homeroom teachers, students, and the school principal as research subjects. Data were collected through interviews and structured observations using an observation sheet as the primary instrument, supported by interview guidelines directed at the classroom teacher and principal. Data analysis followed the interactive model, encompassing three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that prior to the project implementation, students were only able to identify direct cause-and-effect relationships and limited their ethical judgments to simple right-or-wrong assessments. Following the implementation of the "Time Machine" project, students demonstrated a significant transition in causal reasoning, progressing from identifying immediate causes to constructing systemic causality by predicting chain consequences of actions on the present ecosystem. Furthermore, students' ethical discussions shifted from simple normative responses to in-depth consequentialist analysis, evidenced by their ability to evaluate the moral value of actions based on projected universal impacts. It is concluded that the "Time Machine" project is an effective and authentic learning framework that simultaneously supports the achievement of the critical reasoning and noble moral dimensions of the Pancasila student profile, in alignment with the demands of Indonesia's independent curriculum.
