Abstract

This study aims to assess the level of teacher creativity in overcoming challenges related to limited facilities and infrastructure in the teaching of Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) at Ragi Public Elementary School. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected from three PJOK teachers, the principal, and students through interviews focusing on measuring teacher creativity. The main instruments used in this study include semi-structured interviews, direct observation, and documentation. Thematic analysis was used to identify themes or patterns in the respondents' answers. The results of the study show that most PJOK teachers demonstrate a high level of creativity in addressing the lack of facilities and infrastructure. This is evident from various innovative strategies applied in the learning process, such as modifying sports equipment using simple materials, utilizing the surrounding environment as a learning medium, and implementing traditional game-based learning models that require minimal equipment. The findings also indicate that most teachers are able to foster student creativity through alternative teaching methods, creative use of technology, and exploration of the local environment as a learning resource. Therefore, it can be concluded that teacher creativity plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of PJOK learning, even when faced with limited facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

The limited understanding of students toward local cultural values and the lack of integration of cultural elements in physical education learning have become important issues in elementary and secondary schools. This study aims to analyze the process of internalizing local cultural values through ethnosport-based learning within the context of physical education. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through classroom observations, interviews with Physical Education (PJOK) teachers, and documentation studies of learning activities that utilized traditional games as learning media. The findings indicate that ethnosport-based learning is able to foster character values such as sportsmanship, cooperation, responsibility, and respect for local culture. The integration of ethnosport in physical education not only increases students’ participation in physical activities but also serves as an effective medium for instilling cultural and moral values. The implications of this study suggest that ethnosport-based physical education can become an effective learning strategy to enhance students’ active participation while strengthening cultural identity and character development, thereby supporting the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile and the reinforcement of national character in the era of globalization.

Abstract

This study aims to map the development of research and scholarly publications on Artificial Intelligence (AI) Governance, with a particular focus on policy, ethics, and regulatory frameworks. The review seeks to identify major research trends, the evolution of key themes, and the interconnections among topics within the global AI governance literature. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach was employed following the PRISMA protocol to select relevant articles from the Scopus database. A total of 2,815 articles were identified and analyzed using VOSviewer and CiteSpace to examine keyword relationships, publication trends, and thematic structures that illustrate the intellectual landscape of AI governance research during the period 2019–2025. The findings reveal five major thematic clusters in AI governance studies: AI policy and regulation, digital governance and public administration, algorithmic transparency and trust, AI adoption and industry transformation, and ethics and accountability. Among these, AI policy and regulation emerges as the most dominant theme, indicating that policy and regulatory issues remain central to global AI governance discourse. In addition, the relationships among clusters highlight strong linkages between ethics, public trust, and digital transformation in shaping responsible AI governance systems. This study contributes both conceptually and methodologically to AI governance research by providing a comprehensive mapping of global scholarly trends and thematic structures. However, the study is limited by its reliance on a single database (Scopus). Future research is therefore encouraged to incorporate additional databases such as Web of Science and EBSCO to expand the scope of analysis.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the City Branding model “Pemalang pusere Jawa” in Pemalang Regency, which focuses on the strategy of the Government to develop a new brand of Pemalang. “Pemalang pusere Jawa” has shown an impact on increasing tourism in Pemalang, Central Java, Indonesia. The Government supports the success of the City Branding program, and the people involved in the program, stakeholders, and culture, to boost tourism, which will have an impact on the economic sector and increase tourism significantly. Data were analyzed using the Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) approach in qualitative research that defines and explains distribution characteristics. The data were collected through interviews with six key informants who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Document studies were also conducted to support data analysis. This research uses the NVivo 12 Plus application to analyze data consisting of Concept Maps, Group Analysis, and Cluster Analysis. There are three points found in this study, consisting of 1) Program; the program is based on Pemalang Regent Regulation Number 27/2017 Article 7 concerning Utilization and Implementation of the City Branding Logo. The branding “Pemalang pusere Jawa” was launched in 2016 and the Visit Pemalang application is used to assist tourists in exploring tourism in Pemalang or known as a tour guide application. A Visit Pemalang application makes users easier to find tourism sites in Pemalang Regency by displaying the distance from the users’ location to the destination. 2) Partnership; this program is supported by infrastructure stakeholders consisting of the Planalogy Team, the Architect Team, and the Economic Development Expert Team. Program implementation involves the Government and the Community. 3) Culture; various annual events are held as an effort to preserve culture in Pemalang such as “Festival Wong Gunung” and other annual events. Community involvement in the implementation of City Branding is one of the success factors of the program.

Abstract

The environmental crisis in Indonesia has developed into a complex structural problem involving power relations between the state, corporations, and communities in the management of natural resources. The political ecology approach provides a critical perspective that examines the social, political, and economic dimensions of these dynamics. Although political ecology studies on Indonesia are growing, bibliometric studies that map the knowledge structure, research networks, and thematic evolution in international literature are still limited. This gap means that there is no comprehensive picture of the direction of research and dominant themes in political ecology studies on Indonesia. This study aims to map the development of the literature on political ecology in Indonesia through a bibliometric approach based on the Scopus database for the period 1962–2025. The analysis uses VOSviewer and Bibliometrix (R Studio) software to reveal publication trends, knowledge structures, collaboration networks, and thematic evolution. The results show a significant increase in publications since 2010, with more than 60% of documents published in the period 2015–2025. The dominant keywords include governance, sustainability, and climate change, as well as issues of environmental justice and indigenous peoples. Thematic visualizations show a shift in studies from natural resource governance to progressive issues such as urban political ecology and feminist political ecology. These findings provide insight into the direction of political ecology research in Indonesia and can serve as a basis for determining research priorities on issues of environmental justice, resource conflicts, and the transformation of environmental governance towards greater inclusivity and sustainability.
