Abstract

Distance learning in various educational institutions poses significant challenges in creating effective interaction between lecturers and students. This study aims to analyze the implementation of technology-based learning model innovations to enhance student engagement in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Study Program at STAI Al-Falah Cicalengka, Bandung. A mixed-method descriptive approach was employed, combining quantitative and qualitative data obtained through interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires.  Statistical analysis showed a correlation coefficient of 0.85, indicating a strong positive relationship between student engagement and the use of technology in learning. These results suggest that technology-based learning model innovations can optimize the learning experience and improve the quality of education in Islamic higher education.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, atau ekosistem pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, sangat penting untuk mendukung pembelajaran yang efektif dan bermakna, terutama di sekolah dasar. Guru memiliki peran strategis dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendorong siswa untuk lebih terlibat, termotivasi, dan mencapai hasil belajar yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pendekatan guru untuk membuat ekosistem pembelajaran yang menyenangkan di SDN Kutamekar I dan SDN Kutamekar 2 Observasi pembelajaran, wawancara dengan guru, dan studi dokumentasi adalah metode pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menggunakan banyak strategi, seperti pembelajaran interaktif, pembelajaran berbasis permainan, penggunaan media dan teknologi yang sederhana, manajemen kelas yang baik, dan hubungan emosional yang baik antara guru dan siswa. Strategi ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan antusiasme siswa, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang nyaman, dan mendorong mereka untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas dan partisipasi aktif guru adalah kunci utama dalam menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teachers' pedagogical management in developing a school culture based on Tatanén di Balé Atikan (TdBA) in elementary schools in Purwakarta Regency. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with nine grade IV–VI teachers and three principals, and document analysis at three public elementary schools in Bungursari District that had implemented TdBA for at least two years. Thematic analysis revealed four dimensions of effective pedagogical management: (1) lesson planning that integrates TdBA values through the Pancaniti framework into subject-specific competencies; (2) implementation of project based learning in school gardens as "living laboratories" emphasizing collaboration (gotong royong) and value modeling through teacher exemplarity; (3) authentic assessment based on process and attitude portfolios aligned with the Sundanese principle of silih asah, coupled with democratic classroom management; and (4) synergy between the principal's visionary leadership and teachers' social competence. Main challenges include tension between the dense national curriculum and flexible time needs, variations in teachers' understanding, limited physical resources, and difficulties in character assessment. The study concludes that holistic pedagogical management by teachers serves as the core driver in transforming TdBA from a ceremonial activity into a living and sustainable school culture.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengelolaan lembaga Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) memerlukan penerapan manajemen sosial yang efektif untuk membangun hubungan harmonis antara lembaga, orang tua, dan masyarakat. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya manajemen sosial dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dan mendukung keberhasilan program PAUD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi manajemen sosial dalam pengelolaan lembaga PAUD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, dan orang tua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen sosial dilakukan melalui komunikasi yang intensif, pelibatan orang tua dalam kegiatan sekolah, serta kerja sama dengan masyarakat sekitar. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen sosial yang baik dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan lembaga PAUD dan memperkuat kemitraan antara lembaga, orang tua, dan masyarakat. Lembaga PAUD, Sosial Abstract The management of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institutions requires the implementation of effective social management to foster harmonious relationships among the institution, parents, and the community. The background of this study is based on the importance of social management in enhancing community participation and supporting the success of PAUD programs. The objective of this study is to describe the implementation of social management in the administration of PAUD institutions. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques involving observation, interviews, and documentation involving school principals, teachers, and parents. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of social management is carried out through intensive communication, the involvement of parents in school activities, and cooperation with the surrounding community. The conclusion of this study indicates that good social management can improve the quality of PAUD institution management and strengthen partnerships between the institution, parents, and the community. Abstract

Abstract: This study is motivated by the dynamics of industrial worker families, who face shift work systems and limited opportunities for parent–child interaction, which may affect the process of developing children’s discipline. This study aims to analyze the role of the family environment in developing children’s disciplinary character among employees’ families at PT. Chang Shin Indonesia in Karawang Regency. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method. Informants were selected purposively and consisted of 12 participants, including six employee parents and six children as primary sources of data. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings indicate that the development of children’s disciplinary character within industrial worker families occurs through adjustments to parenting schedules, consistent implementation of rules and daily routines, communication between parents and children during limited interaction time, and the involvement of spouses or other family members in childcare. Economic stability, fulfillment of children’s nutritional needs, and a religious and communicative family culture also provide a supportive context for developing discipline. However, the process faces challenges, including parental fatigue after work, changing shift schedules, and limited family time. The findings suggest that the family environment is perceived to continue playing an important role in developing children’s disciplinary character through modeling, habituation, communication, and consistency of family rules despite the dynamics of industrial workers’ family life. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh dinamika keluarga karyawan industri yang dihadapkan pada sistem kerja shift dan keterbatasan waktu interaksi orang tua dengan anak, yang berpotensi memengaruhi proses pembentukan karakter disiplin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran lingkungan keluarga dalam membentuk karakter disiplin anak pada keluarga karyawan PT. Chang Shin Indonesia di Kabupaten Karawang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Informan dipilih secara purposive dan berjumlah 12 orang, terdiri atas 6 orang tua karyawan dan 6 anak sebagai sumber data utama. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan karakter disiplin anak dalam keluarga karyawan industri berlangsung melalui penyesuaian jadwal pengasuhan, penerapan aturan dan rutinitas harian secara konsisten, komunikasi antara orang tua dan anak pada waktu interaksi yang terbatas, serta keterlibatan pasangan atau anggota keluarga lain dalam pengasuhan. Stabilitas ekonomi, pemenuhan kebutuhan anak, dan budaya keluarga yang religius turut menjadi konteks yang mendukung proses pembentukan disiplin. Namun, pelaksanaannya menghadapi hambatan berupa kelelahan orang tua setelah bekerja, perubahan jadwal shift, dan keterbatasan waktu kebersamaan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan keluarga dipersepsikan tetap berperan dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin anak melalui keteladanan, pembiasaan, komunikasi, dan konsistensi aturan meskipun berada dalam dinamika kehidupan keluarga pekerja industri.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the importance of improving the performance of employees in the service sector through a community education approach that emphasizes participation, learning needs, and relevance to the work context. Sugu Collective Restaurant, as a culinary business unit, needs to strengthen the professional competencies of its employees in order to improve service quality and business competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the implementation of community education principles in professional skills training and its impact on employee performance. The research method used a qualitative descriptive approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The research subjects were management and employees who participated in the training. The results showed that the application of participatory, needs-based, contextual, and empowerment-oriented principles was able to improve employees' communication skills, customer service, teamwork, and job responsibility. Additionally, there was an increase in discipline and service quality, which impacted customer satisfaction. The conclusion of this study affirms that the implementation of community education principles in professional training is effective in strengthening employee performance and supporting sustainable organizational development.

Abstract

Parental participation is one of the key factors in supporting the success of early childhood education. However, in practice, there are still parents who do not participate optimally in their children’s educational process, both at school and at home. Parenting programs are one of the efforts undertaken to strengthen the synergy between families and educational institutions. This study aims to describe the implementation of a parenting program in optimizing parental participation in the early childhood education process at Tri Sukses Kindergarten in Bandung. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method, with the research subjects being the school principal, teachers, and parents. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the parenting program implemented at Tri Sukses Kindergarten in Bandung City has been effective in enhancing parents’ understanding of child-rearing and education, strengthening communication between teachers and parents, and increasing parental involvement in their children’s learning and development activities. Thus, the parenting program plays a crucial role in building an effective partnership between the school and families so that the early childhood education process can proceed optimally.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of numeracy skills of 1-10 students at RA Al-Furqon. This study aims to determine how the planning, implementation and results of using the singing method using flash cards media to improve children's numeracy skills. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Sources of data used through questionnaires, interviews, observations, documentation and literature studies. From the results of this study, it was concluded that the singing method through flash cards was proven to improve numeracy skills in group A children in RA Al Furqon, Ciamis Regency.

Abstract

The background of this research is the number of PAUD institutions that have been established but are not matched by qualified human resources (teachers). Therefore, the purpose of this study was to obtain an overview and information about the performance of PAUD teachers in implementing the standards for the level of achievement of child development. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method. The study concludes that there is a lack of understanding of teachers regarding aspects of professional and pedagogic competence, an imbalance in the ratio of teachers and children and the use of learning resources is limited to textbooks so that the assessment is only sourced from summative and portfolio tests so that it tends to emphasize the field of basic ability development, and the obstacles faced by teachers. PAUD is mostly due to external factors.

Abstract

This research analyzes the condition of students' learning motivation during the implementation of distance learning in Sabilulungan Mekar Rahayu Kindergarten, Bandung City. This research was studied because there were problems regarding distance learning being implemented. The research objectives are to examine the condition of students' learning motivation, the implementation of distance learning and the strategies of teachers and parents in implementing distance learning. The research approach uses a descriptive approach with qualitative methods. Research respondents are parents of students, data collection techniques using interviews, documentation and observation. The results showed that the condition of students' motivation tended to be less enthusiastic and felt bored, while the implementation of distance learning using whatsapp groups and learning activities had been designed and referred to the RPPH and RPPM, PAUD educators' strategies at home (parents) in conducting guidance in distance learning. namely using discussion strategies (question-and-answer) and exemplary while the strategy carried out by the teacher is to use a reward strategy given to children to foster learning motivation and carry out regular zoom.
