Abstract

Tersedianya sarana transportasi dan komunikasi modern mengakibatkan terjadinya revolusi mobilitas penduduk. Masalah penelitian adalah bagaimana implikasi dari mobilitas penduduk dan gaya hidup seksual terhadap peyebaran HIV/AIDS di Kabupaten Jember. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis implikasi dari mobilitas penduduk dan gaya hidup seksual terhadap peyebaran HIV/AIDS. Metode penelitian dengan mixmethod kuantitatif dan kualitatif, menggunakan sumber data sekunder dengan telaah dokumen serta melalui indept interview pada petugas LSM yang bergerak di bidang penanggulangan HIV/AIDS di kabupaten Jember. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa saat ini banyak penduduk yang melakukan mobilitas vertikal dengan meninggalkan pekerjaan sebagai petani untuk menjadi buruh pabrik atau pekerjaan lain di daerah perkotaan. Hal ini memungkinkan penduduk laki-laki yang melakukan seks pra nikah atau di luar nikah dengan wanita penjaja seks, sedangkan dari penduduk wanita yang melakukan mobilisasi ke kota dihadapkan pada kondisi ”survival sex” karena tidak memiliki ketrampilan dan pendidikan yang memadai. Saat ini di Kabupaten Jember telah teridentifikasi lokalisasi ilegal yang berjumlah 15 titik dan jumlah penderita HIV/AIDS meningkat setiap tahun. Simpulan penelitian, mobilitas penduduk dan gaya hidup seksual berimplikasi terhadap peyebaran HIV/AIDS. The availability of modern transportation and communication caused revolution population mobility. Research problem was how the implications of population mobility and sexual lifestyles to HIV/AIDS transmission in Jember. Research purpose was to analyze the implications of population mobility and sexual lifestyles to HIV/AIDS transmission. Mixmethod research with quantitative and qualitative, using secondary data sources to examine documents and through indept interview on NGO of HIV/AIDS field personnel in Jember district. The results showed that many current residents who do vertical mobility with change from farmers to factory worker or other work in urban areas. This allows the men who have sex before marriage or have sex with female sex workers, while the women who mobilized to the town faced with “survival sex “ because they do not have adequate skills and education. Currently in Jember has identified illegal localization totaling 15 points and the number of people with HIV/AIDS is increasing every year. The conclusions, population mobility and sexual lifestyle have implications with HIV/AIDS transmission.

Abstract

Ketidakharmonisan hubungan antara anak dan orang tua yang tidak harmonis, bertentangan, kejam, penuh dengan tekanan serta mengakibatkan kondisi patologis di keluarga. Hal ini menjadi faktor pendorong dalam pembentukan perilaku seksual yang menyimpang yang mengarah pada risiko penularan HIV/AIDS. Penelitian dilakukan pada tahun 2015. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode qualitative dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Informan diambil secara purposive sampling, pada 10 waria non pekerja seks. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan dianalisa menurut isi tema. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden menjadi waria karena pola asuh yang koersif (keras). Sebagian kecil responden menjadi waria karena pola asuh orang tua dimana peran ibu sangat dominan (kehilangan figure ayah) dan pola asuh orang tua yang permisif. Dimana kondisi ini mengakibatkan eksistensi dan identitas sebagai waria menjadi lebih kuat, serta mempengaruhi perilaku seksual mereka pada saat memasuki usia remaja dan dewasa yang sangat rentan terhadap penularan HIV/AIDS, seperti melakukann oral dan anal seks dengan bergonta-ganti pasangan tanpa menggunakan kondom atau pelicin. Dibutuhkan upaya yang komprehensive antara pemerintah dan masyarakat dalam melakukan promosi kesehata. The interference in relation between child and parents that unharmony, controvertion, cruel, full of hypocrisy, and family constelation patologycally. It being predisposition for the forming of risk sexual deviation in transmition of HIV/AIDS. This study conducted at 2015. The method of this research is qualitative exploration with fenomenology disclosure. Informan is taken by purposive sampling. They’re 10 Non Comersial Sexual Worker of Transsexual. Data is collected by indepth interview and is analysed by thematic content analysis. The result of this research showed that almost all respondent being transsexual because of coersive parenting role. A few of respondent being transsexuals because the parenting role of mother dominantly, and permisive parenting role. This condition caused identity and existency or respondent as transsexual being strongly. It influenced their sexual behaviour in adolecence and adult period being risky in transmition of HIV/AIDS, such as doing oral and anal sex with various partner, without using condom or lubrican. It needs a comprehensive effort both goverment and society for health promoting.

Abstract

The number of PLWHA in Jember Regency has been increasing every year from 2004 to 2016 always, hence HIV/AIDS prevention must involve the community, not just relying on programs from the Department of Health or KPAD. Jember Regent’s policy on HIV/AIDS Management Team at Subdistrict and Village Level strategically involve all components of the society. Society’s participation was not limited to physical participation but extended to critical awareness. This is a descriptive analytic study about logical thinking on fostering critical awareness on HIV/AIDS through subdistrict and village HIV/AIDS team regulated by Jember’s Regent. Policy analysis was done through Triangle of Policy Analysis theory which includes: context, content, process and actors. The result showed that Jember Regent’s policy on HIV/AIDS prevention teams at subdistrict and village level was very effective to foster community’s critical awareness in HIV/AIDS preventive programs at Jember Regency.

Abstract

Background:  Family Hope Program (PKH) as referred to as conditional cash transfer is a government poverty alleviation program by providing conditional cash money to induces healthy behavior especially pregnant, lactating mother and children under 5 years nutritional status in poor families.  This program is assisted by field staff to facilitate PKH participants to comply antenatal care visits of pregnant mothers and improving nutritional status of children under five years. This study aims to explore the perception of PKH participants regarding the role of field staffs as a motivator, facilitator, educator, and mediator in assisting participants.Method:This is a qualitative study using  in-depth interviews to nine pregnant mothers (as PKH participants) who lived in Sumbermalang, Situbondo District. The informants were selected purposively with inclusion criteria is pregnant mothers as well as their husbands who have been participating in PKH program for more than 2 years. In-depth interviews were also conducted to health providers (village midwives) and field staffs of PKH. Data were analyzed using thematic content analysis.Results: The characteristics of informants were mostly around 20-25 years old, 7-9 months of pregnancy, as housewive and husbands’ occupation was a building construction. Most informants say that the field staffs have facilitated them to improve their behavior to visit health center or village midwives to control their pregnancy, and also provided health education including motivated pregnant mother to consume ferrum tablet completely as well as other medicine. There were no obstacles arising in visiting health center to control their pregnancy and children. PKH field staff roles were necessary as a facilitator, motivator, mediator, and educator of PKH participants in order to help participants to change their behavior. Increase coordination among PKH field staffs and health workers including village midwives is needed to run this program smoothly.

Abstract

Background: The localization of prostitution in Jember District has been closed permanently since 2007. It causes the hidden prostitution business that has been increasing in the street or as indirect sex work. This condition makes the limited access to provide information, condoms and STDs screening among female sex workers (FSWs).  Besides using condom, washing reproductive organs are often conducted to prevent STDs. This study aims to explore the behavior of FSWs in washing and lubricating reproductive organs. Method: This is a qualitative research which involved 12 FSWs in three areas of ex-localization in South Jember, 5 pims and health staffs. Data were collected through indepth-interviews and observation of work areas. Thematic content analysis was employed to identify themes and patterns of data.  Results: The behavior of genital hygiene among FSWs to keep healthy was relatively categorized not good. Beside low consistent in condom use, most of them wash their vagina using traditional herbs or soap. They also often drink traditional herbs to prevent STDs. Lack of knowledge and support from the pimps and health staffs to use condom during sex made them vulnerable from STDs. Changing panties routinely and avoid anal sex were practiced among FSWs to have safe sex.

Abstract

Based on data from the Jember Resort Police (Polres), the highest case of violence against children is sexual violence. The purpose of this research was to analyze the forms of sexual behavior in perpetrators of child sexual violence. This research was a qualitative research with a case study approach, with purposive technique to 7 perpetrators. Credibility was done by testing source triangulation to additional informants, namely wife behavior and triangulation techniques using observation. Most of the events occurred in the perpetrator’s house. Most perpetrators used symbols to commit sexual violence to children with verbal cues and invitations. Most had more than one experience of marriage and other one had not married. There were perpetrators who had risky behaviors that often watched porn videos and had sex with commercial sex workers. Most of the perpetrators had a problem of harmony with their partners. Besides pedophiles, abnormal sexual behavior carried out on victims was incest. The victims were stepchildren who have quiet and weak characters.

Abstract

Environmentalism is the understanding and attitude to preserve the environment that should be owned by all Muslims because it is part of the teachings of religion. Environmental sustainability can be achieved with the behavior of people who paid attention to the environment well. The results of this study indicated that many respondents who didn’t know the verses of environmental sustainability so that it has not motivated them to act to preserve sustainability. Need synergy of government and society in introducing the verses of environmental sustainability through formal education-informal so that can be given motivation of society to behave to preserve environment.

Abstract

Cybersex occurs when someone uses the internet as a medium of interaction to get sexual satisfaction. The triggers for cybersex behaviour can consist of the individual himself or a supportive environment. The purpose of this study was to analyze the causes of cybersex behaviour and its impact on student behaviour. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The results showed that cybersex was caused by curiosity, fun, peer influence, exposure to pornographic content advertisements, stimulation of taboo conversations from interlocutors, easy internet access, and the influence of adult films. The pre-marital sex behaviour carried out by the informants consisted of kissing, necking, petting, and intercourse. The impact felt by informants on cybersex behaviour was a disruption of sleep time and informants tended to stay up late at night due to cybersex. In addition, if they did not do cybersex, informants felt confused, felt that something was missing, and were anxious.

Abstract

Sexuality and reproductive health are sensitive issues for families, schools and communities to discuss with adolescents in Indonesian social, cultural and religious context. This study aims to identify dating and its associated factors in female adolescents in Indonesia. This school-based survey was conducted among 577 students who completed a self-administered questionnaire that included socio-demographic information, discussion on reproductive health with parents, teachers and peers, and physical and psychological development. The results show that 56.5% (95% CI: 51.1%–61.8%) female adolescents had dating experience. Age (OR= 1.63; 95% CI= 1.13-2.35), lack of information on development (OR= 0.39; 95% CI= 0.23-0.67), menstruation (OR= 3.07); 95% CI= 1.54-6.11), lack of discussion with teachers on the topics of puberty (OR= 2.94; 95% CI= 1.58-5.47) and dating (OR= 1.53; 95% CI= 1.03-2.28) are associated with dating behaviour. Characteristics of adolescents and discussion patterns between children and parents and teachers are also associated with dating behaviour. The results indicate that an integrated school-based sex education program that also involves parents is needed in the context of Indonesia.

Waste management is very important especially in hospitals. Hospital waste management must be done properly and correctly so that it can be prevented from diseases caused by waste that will be felt by all residents of the hospital.
