Abstract

Abstract: Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid 19) is an infectious disease that is currently a global pandemic. This situation greatly impacts the tourism sector in Indonesia. Vaccination is expected to be one of the preventive measures used to control the transmission of Covid-19. This study aimed to determine the perception of the people in Manado City towards the Covid-19 booster vaccine as a prerequisite for traveling. This was a qualitative study using interview method. The interview was conducted using in-depth interview technique and guidelines. The results obtained 15 people of Kelurahan Paniki Bawah, Kecamatan Mapanget, Kota Manado as respondents. Most respondents had positive perception towards the Covid-19 booster vaccine as a prerequisite of traveling. Most respondents had good general understanding of the benefits of the Covid-19 vaccine and they agreed with the Covid-19 booster vaccine as a prerequisite of traveling. In conclusion, most people in Manado City have a good and positive perception of the Covid-19 booster vaccine as a prerequisite of traveling. Situasi tersebut sangat berdampak pada sektor pariwisata di Indonesia. Pemberian vaksin diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu pencegahan yang digunakan untuk mengendalikan penularan Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat Kota Manado terhadap vaksin booster Covid-19 sebagai syarat berwisata. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode wawancara secara terstruktur dan menggunakan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan 15 masyarakat Kelurahan Paniki Bawah, Kecamatan Mapanget, Kota Manado sebagai responden penelitian. Persepsi responden terhadap vaksin booster Covid-19 sebagai syarat berwisata menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar memiliki persepsi positif terhadap vaksin booster Covid-19 sebagai syarat berwisata. Responden memiliki pemahaman umum yang baik mengenai manfaat vaksin covid dan mereka setuju dengan himbauan vaksin bo booster oster Covid-19 sebagai syarat berwisata. Simpulan penelitian ini ialah masyarakat Kota Manado umumnya memiliki persepsi yang baik terhadap vaksin booster Covid-19 sebagai syarat berwisata. Abstract

ABSTRAKLatar belakang: Investigasi di beberapa negara menunjukkan Kelelahan kerja berkontribusi signifikan terhadap kecelakaan kerja, menyumbang 50% dari kasus kecelakaan tersebut. Di rumah sakit, kelelahan perawat menjadi masalah utama dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia, karena tuntutan pelayanan yang tinggi dari klien dan manajemen meningkatkan beban kerja perawat..Metode : Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner. Penelitian ini melibatkan 102 sampel yang merupakan total sampling. Dalam mengukur hubungan variabel digunakan analis uji chi square untuk analisis multivariat menggunakan regresi logistic.Hasil : Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 53% umur perawat ada di antara 26-35 Tahun, 62% berjenis kelamin Perempuan, 84,3% memiliki Tingkat Pendidikan S1/Profesi dan 56,9% belum menikah. Untuk Shift kerja 41,2% pada pagi hari dan 29,4% untuk shift kerja siang dan malam. Masa <2 tahun sebesar 52%. Hasil uji bivariat Umur dengan Kelelahan kerja denga p value 0,054. Jenis kelamin dengan Kelelahan kerja denga p value 0.031. shift kerja dengan Kelelahan kerja dengan p value 0,001 dan masa kerja dengan Kelelahan kerja denga p value 0,031. Hasil uji multivariat yang paling berhubungan dengan kelelahan kerja adalah shift kerja dengan nilai signifikansi 0,001.Kesimpulan: terdapat hubungan antara jenis kelamin, shift kerja dan masa kerja dengan kelelahan kerja, tidak ada hubungan antara umur dengar kelelahan kerja dan shift kerja adalah variabel yang paling berhubungan dengan kelelahan kerja. Saran untuk rumah sakit kedepannya agar bisa memperhatikan perasaan kelelahan dari perawat yang bekerja dengan memberikan treatmen yang relevan..Kata kunci: kelelahan, beban kerja, perawat ABSTRACKBackground: Investigations in several countries show Occupational fatigue contributes significantly to occupational accidents, accounting for 50% of such accident cases. In hospitals, nurse fatigue is becoming a major issue in human resource management, as high service demands from clients and management increase nurses' workload. Objective: nurses at Sentra Medika Hospital in North Minahasa.Method: The method used in this study was quantitative with a cross sectional research design. Data was collected by questionnaire. This study involved 102 samples which were total sampling. In measuring the relationship of variables, the chi square test analyst was used for multivariate analysis using logistic regression.Results: The results showed that 53% of nurses' ages were between 26-35 years old, 62% were female, 84.3% had a bachelor's / professional education level and 56.9% were not married. For work shifts 41.2% in the morning and 29.4% for day and night work shifts. The period <2 years was 52%. Bivariate test results Age with Work Fatigue with p value 0.054. Gender with work fatigue with p value 0.031. work shift with work fatigue with p value 0.001 and tenure with work fatigue with p value 0.031. The multivariate test results that are most associated with work fatigue are work shifts with a significance value of 0.001. Conclusion: From this research, There is an association between gender, shift work and tenure with fatigue, there is no association between age and fatigue and shift work is the variable most associated with fatigue. Suggestions for future hospitals to pay attention to the feelings of fatigue of nurses who work by providing relevant treatment.Keywords: fatigue, workload, nurses

Abstract

Stres kerja merupakan salah satu faktor yang menurunkan produktivitas pegawai, disebabkan oleh beban kerja, tekanan waktu, dan faktor psikososial. Stres kerja mengakibatkan penurunan kemampuan fokus, buruknya pengambilan keputusan, dan konflik. Tujuan penelitiannya adalah menganalisis faktor-faktor beban kerja, kondisi psikososial, dan individu jenis kelamin yang mempengaruhi stres kerja. Desain penelitian ini observasional analitik kuantitatif dengan desain Cross sectional study, dilaksanakan September 2023 – Januari 2024 di Sekretariat Daerah Kota Bitung. Populasi sekaligus sampel adalah seluruh pegawai Sekretariat Daerah Kota Bitung sejumlah 128 orang. Variabel bebas adalah beban kerja, psikososial, dan individu jenis kelamin sedangkan variabel terikat adalah stres kerja. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner baku dari badan atau lembaga yang sudah terstandarisasi, valid dan terpercaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan analisis univariat mayoritas responden berumur 25-35 tahun (69,5%), mayoritas berpendidikan S1/Sederajat (55,5%), mayoritas berjenis kelamin perempuan (54,7%), mayoritas memiliki stres kerja sedang (43,0%), mayoritas memiliki beban kerja berat (58,6%), mayoritas memiliki psikososial berat (47,7%). Hasil analisis multivariat menunjukan terdapat hubungan antara psikososial dengan stres kerja OR 4,62 (95% CI 2,15-9,93; p=0,000), terdapat hubungan antara beban kerja dengan stres kerja OR 3,19 (95% CI 1,35-7,49; p=0,008), serta tidak terdapat hubungan antara individu jenis kelamin dengan stres kerja OR 1,80 (95% CI 0,54-5,94; p=0,332). Faktor psikososial merupakan faktor yang paling mempengaruhi stres kerja pada pegawai di Kantor Sekretariat Daerah Kota Bitung.

Abstract

Background: As people age, their lung function changes significantly, increasing the risk of pulmonary diseases such as pneumonia and COPD. Aim: To determine the relationship between individual characteristics and lung function in the elderly integrated healthcare post of the East Langowan District. Methods: Analytic observational study with cross sectional design, involving 55 samples using purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using the Lambda Test (gender), Chi-Square (age, BMI [body mass index], and lung disease), and logistic regression analysis. Result: Gender showed a significant association with lung function (p=0.022), where more women had normal lung function than men. Age (p=0.883), BMI (p=0.550), and lung disease (p=0.528) did not show a significant relationship with lung function. Conclusion: There is relation between individual characteristics and lung function in the elderly integrated healthcare post of the East Langowan District. Abstract

Abstract: Occupational disease is a serious health problem in the world of work that has the potential to cause injuries and various musculoskeletal diseases including low back pain (LBP). This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between work posture and LBP complaint among surgical nurses. Samples were surgical nurses of Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Hospital as many as 30 respondents. The results showed that the majority of respondents were ≤45 years (70%), and had LBP complaint (96,7%). Male respondents were predominant than females (53.3% : 46.7%). Based on REBA, the most frequent risk levels were high risk (50%) and moderate risk (36.7%). The Spearman correlation test obtained a p-value of 0.288 indicating a non significant relationship between work posture and LBP complaint. In conclusion, there is no significant relationship between  work posture and low back pain complaint among surgical nurses at Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Hospital Manado. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi hubungan postur tubuh saat bekerja dengan keluhan low back pain pada perawat bedah. Jenis penelitian ialah analitik observasional dengan desain potong lintang. Sampel penelitian ialah perawat bedah RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou yang berjumlah 30 responden. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan mayoritas responden berusia ≤45 tahun (70%) dan memiliki keluhan LBP (96,7%). Jumlah responden laki-laki lebih banyak daripada perempuan (53,3% : 46,7%). Klasifikasi tingkat risiko postur tubuh menggunakan REBA mendapatkan responden terbanyak dengan risiko tinggi (50%) dan sedang (36,7%). Hasil uji korelasi Spearman mendapatkan nilai p=0,288 yang menunjukkan hubungan tidak bermakna antara postur tubuh responden saat bekerja dengan keluhan LBP. Simpulan penelitian ini ialah tidak terdapat hubungan bermakna antara postur tubuh saat bekerja dengan keluhan low back pain pada perawat bedah RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. Abstract

Cholesterol is a fatty compound produced by various cells in the body. Increased levels of total cholesterol in the blood are the main cause of the burden of disease in developed and developing countries, namely as a risk factor for heart disease and stroke.  Cholesterol levels are influenced by many factors, one of which is the body mass index (BMI). A person with a large BMI, will experience an increase in fat levels which can cause an imbalance in fat metabolism so that it can ultimately affect a person's body cholesterol levels. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between BMI and total cholesterol levels in the elderly in Warisa Kamung Baru Village, Talawaan District, North Minahasa Regency. This type of research is descriptive analytical using a correlation research design with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique is total sampling. The sample in this study is 50 elderly people in Warisa Kampung Baru Village. The instruments used are scales, microtoise, autocheck GCU meters, pen lancet, cholesterol strips, cotton alcohol and sterile gloves. The data was analyzed using the Spearman correlation test with a significance value of p> 0.05, then H0 was accepted and H1 was rejected. A total of 50 elderly people participated in this study with most having a normal BMI (44.0%), underweight (2.0%), overweight (18.0%), obese 1 (24.0%), obese 2 (12.0%). Most of the elderly who were respondents had good cholesterol (52%), high threshold cholesterol (30.0%) and high cholesterol (18.0%). This study concluded that there was no relationship between body mass index (BMI) and total cholesterol levels in the elderly in Warisa Kampung Baru Village, Talawaan District, North Minahasa Regency.

Abstract

Background: Indonesia is currently experiencing a case of the Covid-19 pandemic, a case of the corona virus appears and attacks humans for the first time in Wuhan Province, China. This emergency occurs mainly in patients with previous health problems. Many schools and universities are closed by the government by imposing learning and working at home, limiting religious activities, limiting transportation modes, restricting activities in public places and dismissing workplaces and other activities specifically related to aspects of defense and security. The government in this case continues to make promotions to disseminate the prevention of the spread of the corona virus, especially in workplaces. Health promotion is an important determinant of the healthy behavior of the community, especially workers who continue to work during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between Occupational Health and Safety Promotion (K3) and COVID 19 Prevention Measures for employees at a hospital in North Sulawesi Province. Methods: This study was an observational study with a cross sectional study design. The population in this study were all employees of the Eye Hospital. The sample in this study was a total population of 70 people. The independent variables in this study were training, communication, and supervision with the dependent variable, namely the prevention of Covid 19. The research data were analyzed using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis and chi-square statistical calculations. Presentation of data is made in table and narrative form. Results: This study showed that 51.8% of hospital staff did not take preventive measures properly. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between K3 training and covid-19 preventive measures with a value of p = 0.047, there was a significant relationship between K3 communication and covid-19 prevention measures with a value of p = 0.000, there was a significant relationship between supervision and covid-19 precaution with a value of p = 0.000. The results of the multivariate analysis showed communication (p = 0.000; OR = 5.090 was the most dominant influencing factor, with good supervision it would increase covid-19 prevention measures for employees at a hospital in North Sulawesi Province, Conclusion: Conclusion of the study This states that OHS training, OHS communication and supervision have an important role in efforts to prevent Covid-19 at a hospital in North Sulawesi Province and the factor that plays the most role in taking Covid 19 preventive measures is K3 communication.

Abstract

Background: The vision and mission of the hospital must be achieved by every hospital. This requires planning as outlined in a document called a strategic plan. There are many approaches to strategy formulation, one of which is the Balanced Scorecard (BSC). BSC is an approach that is widely used today, including in hospitals. The purpose of this research was to formulate a strategic plan for Cantia Tompasobaru Hospital using the Balanced Scorecard method. Methode: This is a qualitative research with a case study design. This research was conducted in April-July 2022 at Cantia Tompasobaru Hospital. The number of informants, namely 10 informants consisting of key informants, namely level 2 of the hospital, consisted of 3 deputy directors, while the other informants, namely level 3 of the hospital, were the heads of each room and installation, totaling 7 people. The variables studied are the BSC perspective, namely the perspective of finance, customers, internal business processes, as well as learning and innovation. Data were obtained through interviews, focus group discussions, document review and field observations. The data obtained were analyzed by content analysis method. Result: The results showed that the customer perspective BSC strategy, there are 2 strategic goals, namely retaining old customers and attracting new customers. The strategic goals to retain existing customers have 4 strategies, namely meeting medical service expectations, meeting tariff and service quality expectations, meeting consumer service expectations and providing incentives or bonuses. The target strategy to attract new customers consists of 4 strategies, namely adding service products, providing price certainty, building relationships with doctors and increasing brand awareness. The internal business perspective BSC strategy has 2 strategic objectives, namely increasing key capabilities and improving business processes. The target strategy to increase the main capabilities has 3 strategies, namely improving clinical results, increasing value propositions, and improving customer service. The target strategy for improving business processes consists of 4 strategies, namely improving organizational structure, improving management systems, optimizing and improving processes and reducing loss/waste costs. The BSC strategy from a growth and development perspective has 2 strategic goals, namely increasing employee professionalism and improving the work environment. The target strategy for increasing employee professionalism has 2 strategies, namely increasing work direction and increasing knowledge and skills. The target strategy to improve the work environment consists of 2 strategies, namely maximizing the placement of staff/number of human resources and increasing work morale. The BSC hospital strategy from a financial perspective has 3 strategic objectives, namely increasing profit, increasing revenue and reducing costs. The target of the strategy to increase profits aims to enable hospitals to increase profits in order to support hospital development. The target strategy to increase revenue aims to increase the number of customers. The target strategy is to reduce costs with 4 strategies, namely increasing efficiency, main capabilities, business processes and productivity Conclusion: It can be concluded that the customer perspective BSC strategy, there are 2 strategic goals, namely retaining old customers and attracting new customers. The internal business perspective BSC strategy has 2 strategic objectives, namely increasing key capabilities and improving business processes. The BSC strategy from a growth and development perspective has 2 strategic goals, namely increasing employee professionalism and improving the work environment. The BSC hospital strategy from a financial perspective has 3 strategic objectives, namely increasing profit, increasing revenue and reducing costs.

Abstract

Latar belakang : Kecelakaan merupakan salah satu penyebab kematian di seluruh dunia dan setiap tahun sebanyak 1,25 juta orang meninggal dan hampir 50 juta orang cedera akibat kecelakaan. World Health Organization (WHO) melaporkan bahwa setiap tahun sebanyak 1,25 juta orang meninggal dan hampir 50 juta orang cedera akibat kecelakaan lalu lintas di seluruh dunia. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis kondisi jalan dan cuaca yang berhubungan dengan kecelakaan kerja pada pengemudi ojek di Kota Bitung. Metode : Penelitian ini adalah studi observasional analitik dengan rancangan penelitian cross sectional study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengemudi ojek yang ada di Kota Bitung pada tahun 2019, pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus lemeshow dengan jumlah populasi tidak diketahui. Hasil perhitungan besar sampel pada penelitian ini, memperoleh sampel sebesar 96,04 atau sebanyak 96 orang. Dalam penelitian ini sampel digenapkan menjadi 100 orang pengemudi ojek di Kota Bitung. Variabel dalam penelitian ini yaitu jalan rusak, jalan berlubang, jalan licin dan hujan, dengan variabel dependen yaitu kecelakaan kerja pengemudi ojek. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara univariat, bivariat dan multivariat. Hasil : hasil penelitian yang dianalisis menunjukan terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara mengemudi di jalan rusak (p = 0,004), mengemudi di jalan berlubang (p = 0,002), mengemudi di jalan licin (p = 0,007), mengemudi waktu hujan dengan (p = 0,002) dengan kecelakaan kerja pada pengemudi ojek di Kota Bitung. Kesimpulan : Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara kondisi jalan dan cuaca dengan kecelakaan kerja pada pengemudi ojek di Kota Bitung.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kejadian akibat medical error merupakan ancaman terhadap keselamatan pasien. Salah satu pencegahannya adalah dengan membuka wawasan perawat mengenai kewajiban hukum yang dimilikinya dengan cara meningkatkan kesadaran melalui peningkatan literasi hukum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh edukasi melalui literasi hukum terhadap pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan pencegahan medical error pada perawat. Metode Penelitian: Subjek atau partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat yang secara langsung berinteraksi dengan pasien dan memenuhi kriteria penelitian yang telah ditetapkan. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur yang dibagikan secara daring kepada partisipan, sebelum dan sesudah pemberian pelatihan atau edukasi secara daring tentang literasi hukum. Jumlah terakhir partisipan dalam penelitian ini yang memenuhi kriteria dan menyelesaikan semua proses penelitian adalah 47 perawat. Analisis data menggunakan bantuan program SPSS dengan metode pengujian paired sample t-test pada pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan pencegahan medical error, sebelum dan sesudah pemberian pelatihan edukasi literasi hukum. Hasil Penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden terdistribusi paling banyak perawat wanita (89,4%), berusia rata-rata 35,21 tahun dengan latar belakang pendidikan D3 keperawatan (ahli madya keperawatan) (83%) dan memiliki masa kerja rata-rata 11,56 tahun. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa 1 bulan setelah diberikan pelatihan edukasi literasi hukum terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan pencegahan medical error secara signifikan (p=0,00). Kesimpulan: Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu ada pengaruh edukasi melalui literasi hukum terhadap tingkat pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan pencegahan medical error pada perawat. Perlu dilakukan penelitian edukasi literasi hukum kepada tenaga kesehatan lain dan pada kelompok kontrol.
