Abstract

This study aimed to compare the effects of triangle passing and quadrangle passing drills on the passing quality of U-17 Taruna Gomong FC football players. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental two-group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of 24 players, and 16 players who met the inclusion criteria were selected through purposive sampling. The sample was then divided into two equal groups using ordinal pairing based on pretest scores. Group A received triangle passing training, whereas Group B received quadrangle passing training for 18 sessions over six weeks. The instrument used was a 30-second passing and ball-control test adapted from Nurhasan. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, homogeneity test, paired-sample t-test, and independent-sample t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that triangle passing training significantly improved passing quality (t = 10.58; p = 0.000) with a 15.38% increase. Quadrangle passing training also significantly improved passing quality (t = 5.36; p = 0.001) with a 12.75% increase. However, the difference between the two training methods was not statistically significant (t = 2.030; p = 0.062). These findings indicate that both drills can be used to improve players’ passing quality, although neither method was statistically superior.

Abstract

This study analyzed the development of surfing as a sport tourism attraction in the Senggigi Beach area, West Lombok Regency. The study used a descriptive quantitative design with questionnaire-based data collection. Respondents consisted of 40 stakeholders, including local surfing athletes, surfing organization administrators, MSME actors, outdoor-equipment rental providers, and villa owners around Senggigi Beach. Data were analyzed descriptively using percentages. The findings show that accessibility to the location (80%) and the presence of local MSMEs (70%) were the strongest supporting factors for surfing-based sport tourism development. Meanwhile, tourism infrastructure management (60%) and the availability of surfing training (55%) were rated as moderate, whereas cooperation with government stakeholders (45%) emerged as the weakest aspect. These results indicate that Senggigi has promising potential to strengthen surfing as a sport tourism product, but better governance, supporting facilities, and coordinated stakeholder collaboration are still needed to support sustainable destination development. Keywords: surfing, sport tourism, Senggigi Beach, West Lombok, destination development Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perkembangan cabang olahraga surfing sebagai daya tarik sport tourism di kawasan Pantai Senggigi, Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Penelitian menggunakan desain kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Responden penelitian berjumlah 40 orang yang terdiri atas atlet surfing lokal, pengurus organisasi surfing, pelaku UMKM, penyedia penyewaan perlengkapan outdoor, dan pemilik vila di sekitar Pantai Senggigi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aksesibilitas menuju lokasi (80%) dan keberadaan UMKM lokal (70%) merupakan faktor pendukung terkuat dalam pengembangan sport tourism berbasis surfing. Sementara itu, pengelolaan infrastruktur wisata (60%) dan ketersediaan pelatihan surfing (55%) berada pada kategori sedang, sedangkan kerja sama dengan pemerintah (45%) menjadi aspek yang paling lemah. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Pantai Senggigi memiliki peluang yang baik untuk memperkuat surfing sebagai produk sport tourism, tetapi masih diperlukan perbaikan tata kelola, fasilitas pendukung, dan kolaborasi antar-pemangku kepentingan agar pengembangannya lebih berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh latihan Coerver Pass and Move terhadap kemampuan passing dan kontrol dalam permainan sepak bola pada atlet U17 di Sekolah Sepak Bola (SSB) Keruak United Kabupaten, Lombok Timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain eksperimen pretest-posttest satu kelompok, di mana 25 atlet U17 menjadi subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes keterampilan passing dan kontrol yang dilakukan sebelum dan setelah perlakuan latihan selama enam minggu dengan frekuensi tiga kali dalam seminggu. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan passing dan kontrol setelah penerapan metode latihan Coerver Pass and Move. Uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai t-hitung sebesar 15.27 dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000, yang menunjukkan bahwa latihan ini berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan dasar sepak bola. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa metode Coerver Pass and Move efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan teknik dasar pada atlet usia muda, yang sangat penting untuk performa dalam pertandingan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pelatih dan pengembang program latihan di tingkat SSB untuk menerapkan metode yang lebih variatif dan efektif dalam pembinaan atlet.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh latihan resistance band terhadap kekuatan menarik dan mendorong pada atlet putra Kurash Kota Mataram. Hipotesis utama penelitian menyatakan bahwa latihan resistance band memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kekuatan otot lengan yang berperan dalam aksi menarik, mendorong, menggoyahkan, dan menjatuhkan lawan pada pertandingan Kurash. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimen one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah delapan atlet putra Kurash Kota Mataram yang dipilih melalui studi populasi. Perlakuan berupa latihan resistance band selama enam minggu dengan frekuensi tiga kali per minggu, mencakup push up, pull-apart, front raise, row, dan alternating punch. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah push and pull dynamometer untuk mengukur kekuatan menarik dan mendorong otot lengan dan bahu. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, persentase peningkatan, effect size, dan paired sample t-test pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata kekuatan menarik meningkat dari 24,88 kg menjadi 29,63 kg dengan peningkatan 19,10% dan nilai t = 15,16. Rata-rata kekuatan mendorong meningkat dari 28,88 kg menjadi 33,88 kg dengan peningkatan 17,32% dan nilai t = 7,64. Kedua hasil melampaui t tabel df = 7 pada taraf 5%, sehingga hipotesis diterima. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa latihan resistance band efektif sebagai metode latihan beban sederhana, portabel, dan spesifik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan otot lengan atlet Kurash, terutama pada fase tarikan dan dorongan saat membangun kontrol terhadap lawan. Abstract

ABSTRACT Punch speed is an important component in Muay Thai because it is closely related to attack effectiveness, scoring opportunities, and the ability to pressure opponents during matches. This study aimed to analyze the effect of punch drill training using 1 kg dumbbells and resistance bands on improving punching speed among Raja Muay Thai Mataram athletes in 2023. The study employed an experimental method with a two-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 20 active athletes who were divided into two groups using the ordinal pairing technique based on the pretest results. The first group received jab punch training using 1 kg dumbbells, while the second group used resistance bands. The training program was conducted for six weeks with a frequency of three sessions per week. Data were collected using a 30-second jab punch speed test and analyzed using a t-test at a 5% significance level. The results showed that both forms of training had a significant effect on improving the athletes’ punching speed. Training using dumbbells produced a slightly higher average improvement compared to resistance bands. The findings indicate that both training methods can be used as effective, practical, and specific alternatives for improving jab punch performance in Muay Thai athletes. ABSTRAK Kecepatan pukulan merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam olahraga Muay Thai karena berhubungan dengan efektivitas serangan, peluang memperoleh poin, dan kemampuan menekan lawan selama pertandingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh latihan drill pukulan menggunakan dumbbell 1 kg dan resistance band terhadap peningkatan kecepatan memukul atlet Raja Muay Thai Mataram tahun 2023. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain two group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 20 atlet aktif yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok menggunakan teknik ordinal pairing berdasarkan hasil pretest. Kelompok pertama diberikan latihan pukulan jab menggunakan dumbbell 1 kg, sedangkan kelompok kedua menggunakan resistance band. Program latihan dilaksanakan selama enam minggu dengan frekuensi tiga kali per minggu. Pengukuran dilakukan menggunakan tes kecepatan pukulan jab selama 30 detik dan data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua bentuk latihan memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kecepatan memukul atlet. Latihan menggunakan dumbbell menghasilkan peningkatan rata-rata yang sedikit lebih tinggi dibandingkan resistance band. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua metode latihan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif latihan yang efektif, praktis, dan spesifik untuk meningkatkan performa pukulan jab pada atlet Muay Thai.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was motivated by the low accuracy of backhand short serves among badminton extracurricular students at MAN 2 Mataram. The common errors observed included inappropriate racket grip position, unstable shuttlecock contact, and inconsistent serve direction over the net toward the target area. This study aimed to determine the effect of backhand short-service drilling with a shadow start on the accuracy of backhand short serves among badminton extracurricular students at MAN 2 Mataram in 2025. The research used an experimental method with a one-group pre-test post-test design. The sample consisted of 20 students selected through a population study. The research instrument was a backhand short-serve accuracy test consisting of 20 service attempts directed toward the target area. The treatment was conducted for six weeks with 18 training sessions through progressive backhand short-service drilling with a shadow start. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Levene's homogeneity test, and the paired sample t-test. The results showed that the mean pre-test score of 37.00 increased to 71.40 in the post-test. The data were normally distributed and homogeneous, while the paired sample t-test showed a t-value of 22.05 with p < 0.001. Therefore, backhand short-service drilling with a shadow start significantly improved the accuracy of backhand short serves among badminton extracurricular students at MAN 2 Mataram. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya ketepatan servis pendek backhand siswa ekstrakurikuler bulutangkis MAN 2 Mataram. Kesalahan yang sering muncul adalah posisi pegangan raket kurang tepat, perkenaan shuttlecock tidak stabil, dan arah servis belum konsisten melewati net menuju bidang sasaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan drilling servis pendek backhand dengan awalan shadow terhadap ketepatan servis pendek backhand siswa ekstrakurikuler bulutangkis MAN 2 Mataram tahun 2025. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pre-test post-test. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 20 siswa yang diambil menggunakan studi populasi. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes ketepatan servis pendek backhand dengan 20 kesempatan servis ke bidang sasaran. Perlakuan diberikan selama enam minggu sebanyak 18 pertemuan melalui latihan drilling servis pendek backhand berawalan shadow dengan peningkatan set dan repetisi secara bertahap. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, uji homogenitas Levene, dan paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 37,00 meningkat menjadi 71,40 pada posttest. Data berdistribusi normal dan homogen, sedangkan hasil paired sample t-test menunjukkan t-hitung sebesar 22,05 dengan p < 0,001. Dengan demikian, latihan drilling servis pendek backhand dengan awalan shadow berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan ketepatan servis pendek backhand siswa ekstrakurikuler bulutangkis MAN 2 Mataram.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of physical fitness of grade VIII students and compare the achievement of fitness components based on gender using the Indonesian Student Fitness Test (TKSI) Phase D. The use of TKSI Phase D is a practical contribution to this study because it provides a standardized fitness mapping, contextual, and can be directly used by PJOK teachers as a basis for student coaching. The research uses a descriptive-comparative quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample consisted of 37 students in grade VIII-1, including 17 male students and 20 female students, who were selected through purposive sampling techniques based on active participation, consistency of attendance, and willingness to participate in the entire series of tests. TKSI Phase D instruments include hand and eye coordination test, sit-up test, standing broad jump test, T-test, and beep test. Data were analyzed using frequency distribution, percentages, descriptive statistics, and independent t-test samples. The results showed that the overall physical fitness level of students was in the medium category, with 10 students in the good category, 15 students in the medium category, 11 students in the low category, and 1 student in the low category. Based on gender, dominant male students are in the medium category, while dominant female students are in the less category. The results of the differential test showed that male students had significantly better performance in all components of TKSI, namely muscle endurance, leg explosiveness, agility, cardiorespiratory endurance, and eye-hand coordination. These findings confirm that TKSI Phase D can serve as an initial diagnostic basis for designing more adaptive fitness interventions in local schools on an ongoing basis. This study concludes that students' physical fitness still requires targeted coaching through data-driven PJOK learning, especially for students with low fitness categories.   Keywords: Physical Fitness; TKSI Phase D; Junior High School Students; Physical Education; Student Fitness

Abstract

The problem in this research is the minimal use of Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning that utilizes traditional games to develop children's social skills. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the traditional game Bakiak on the social skill levels of elementary school students at MI NW Al-Mujahidin in 2024. This type of research is descriptive. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques utilizing observation sheets. The population in this study consisted of 20 fourth-grade students at MI NW Al-Mujahidin in 2024, selected using a total sampling technique. Data analysis involved descriptive analysis presented in the form of percentages. Based on the average score of 30, the effectiveness of the traditional game Bakiak on the social skills of children at MI NW Al-Mujahidin in 2024 is in the "moderate" category. Based on the results of the data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of the traditional game Bakiak on children's social skills at MI NW Al-Mujahidin in 2024 is categorized as "low" at 5% (1 student), "moderate" at 70% (14 students), and "high" at 25% (5 students).

Abstract

Based on observations, the speed of athletes’ kicks is still relatively low, resulting in less accurateexecution of the mawashi geri kick during matches. This study examines the effects of stepping zig-zag kick training and elastic kick training on the performance of the mawashi geri kick. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of stepping zig-zag kick training and elastic kick training on mawashi geri kicking performance. The research method used is an experimental method with a two-group pretest and posttest design. The sample consisted of 20 participants. The research instrument used was a kick speed measurement test. The results of the study showed an increase in kick speed, where the stepping zig-zag kick training obtained a t-value of 8.251 > 1.833, while the elastic kick training obtained a t-value of 9.701 > 1.833. The results also indicated that the improvement from stepping zig-zag kick training had a greater mean difference compared to elastic kick training.

Abstract

The problem in this study is traditional fort and boi-boian games to increase motion, especially the basic manipulative movements of children, in this case researchers will focus more on the problem of basic manipulative movements of children with traditional games of begelompongan and boi-boian. This study aims to determine the influence of traditional games of lompong on manipulative motion. The research method used is a quantitative approach with an experimental design with One Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov research type, with research instruments using throwing tests and ball catching tests. Data analysis using t test, normality test and homogeneity test with SPSS 24 For Windows assisted testing. The results of the study are based on a significant value of Xa 0.00 while the value of Xb 0.00 shows no significant difference between the pretest and posttest, this shows the ease of treatment in each variable paired sample test.
