Abstract

This study aims to know the effectiveness of information services on students’ understanding regarding the harms of smoking in MAS Al-Washliyah P. Brandan Langkat on how important knowledge about the harms of smoking is. In addition to improving students’ knowledge and awareness of the dangers of smoking, supporting better decisions and increasing the efficiency and productivity of the students. Information services can help improve quality of life and support education. Smoking is a common activity engaged in by students especially male adolescents. This can impact on various aspects of his/her life such as health, financial, social, psychological and environmental. The study aims to provide students with an understanding of the dangers of smoking. The research methodology employed a quantitative approach. The population of the study was students of MAS Al-Washliyah P. Brandan Langkat with a total sample size of 36 students. Sampling technique was conducted using random sampling technique established by the researcher. Data collection techniques by means of documentation, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis/hypothesis testing tool uses the pre-experimental design (impure experiment) formula on SPSS processing. The results of the research conducted by the researcher obtained that the insight of the harms of smoking can be improved through increasing students’ knowledge of the harms of smoking by providing them with appropriate information services so this study shows Ho rejected and Ha accepted with a sig value of 0.000  0.05 given the effect of informational harmfulness in which the study permeates harmfulness. MAS Al-Washliyah P. Brandan Langkat can be remembered.

Abstract

Based on the formulation of the research problem, the aims of this study are: (1) To find out the forms of negative puberty behavior of class VII students that occur at SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Morawa. (2) To find out the efforts made by counseling teachers in providing group guidance services to reduce the negative behavior of puberty students of class VII SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Morawa. (3) To find out the obstacles in providing group guidance services to reduce the negative behavior of puberty students of class VII SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Morawa. This research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. In the process of collecting data, researchers used methods of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the negative forms of puberty behavior of class VII students that have been implemented at Tanjung Morawa 2 Public Middle School are more towards conformity, emotional, boredom, and bullying. The obstacles in implementing group guidance services at SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Morawa are obstacles in facilities and infrastructure, obstacles in time, obstacles in the stages of implementing group guidance services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the roles and functions of supervisors in implementing the Merdeka Belajar policy at Islamic senior high schools (MAN) in Aceh Tamiang to improve students’ academic quality. The research focuses on four key supervisory functions: coaching, monitoring, evaluation, and training. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that supervisory efforts—such as guidance to teachers, training in innovative methods, routine monitoring, and data-driven evaluations—have significantly enhanced teaching quality and student motivation. Key supporting factors included principal support, teacher collaboration, and adequate facilities, while limitations such as time constraints and resistance from some teachers hindered effectiveness. The study underscores that the success of Merdeka Belajar implementation relies on active and collaborative engagement among supervisors, teachers, and school leadership. Practically, this research highlights the need to empower school supervisors as strategic partners in curriculum reform. Education stakeholders should provide structured support, adequate resources, and professional development opportunities for supervisors. Future research should expand to include various Islamic education institutions across different regions to account for contextual diversity. Longitudinal studies are also recommended to examine the sustained impact of supervisory practices on student outcomes and instructional transformation under the Merdeka Belajar framework.

Abstract

Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-based learning management aims to improve the efficiency of the teaching and learning process in schools by using digital devices that facilitate classroom activities. This study aims to describe (1) the methods of implementing ICT-based learning management at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Medan, (2) the effectiveness of ICT use in improving learning quality, and (3) the challenges and obstacles encountered in its implementation. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques include semi-structured interviews, direct observation, and document analysis. Data analysis is conducted thematically to group information based on relevant patterns of findings. The results indicate that teachers utilize various digital platforms to access materials and assignments and integrate game elements such as Quizizz and Kahoot to enhance student engagement. Learning is also supplemented with video media and discussion activities to reinforce understanding. Findings also indicate that students are more enthusiastic and active when learning using technology. However, the main challenges faced include limited access to devices, unstable internet connections, and distractions caused by the use of digital devices. Despite this, using ICT has proven to enrich the learning experience, encourage student participation, and improve the overall quality of learning.

Abstract

Students are the most important assets for every country in This study aims to describe and analyze the management of facilities and infrastructure at SMP IT Al-Ikhwan Tanjung Morawa. The focus of the study covers five main aspects, namely planning, procurement, inventory, utilization and maintenance, and disposal of educational facilities and infrastructure. This study is motivated by the importance of the availability and management of adequate facilities to support the effectiveness of the learning process. The research approach used is qualitative with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively. The results of the study indicate that the management of facilities and infrastructure at SMP IT Al-Ikhwan Tanjung Morawa has been carried out systematically, but there are still obstacles in terms of the suitability between planning and realization, budget limitations, and suboptimal maintenance. Some educational facilities do not meet national education standards, especially in terms of information technology and comfort of learning spaces. These findings indicate the need to strengthen the management of facilities and infrastructure in a sustainable manner by involving all stakeholders, including the principal, teachers, administrative staff, and school committees. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions in the development of educational policies, especially in the aspect of effective and efficient facility management in Islamic-based private school environments.

Abstract

The supervision of the madrasah principal plays a vital role in guiding and developing administrative staff to work optimally through coaching, evaluation, and human resource empowerment approaches within the madrasah administrative environment. This study aims to analyse the influence of the principal’s supervision on the quality of administrative staff performance and to identify problems and solutions for improving administrative performance. The research employs a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and were analysed using data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the principal supervises through annual planning, direct observation, two-way communication, and regular evaluations. The supervision includes aspects of discipline, service, and the use of technology. Evaluations are carried out through meetings and feedback, followed by training, task restructuring, and mentoring. This participatory approach encourages performance improvement and fosters a reflective and adaptive work culture within the madrasah administrative environment. The principal’s supervision creates a more orderly, professional, and collaborative work environment. Administrative staff become more disciplined, productive, receptive to feedback, and adaptable to changes and technology. Conclusion: The principal’s supervision contributes significantly to improving the performance of administrative staff through observation, evaluation, coaching, training, and a participatory and communicative approach that fosters a conducive work atmosphere.

Abstract

The study concludes that the headmaster's leadership influences academic achievement, student discipline, and school reputation. It recommends that future research focus on the impact of leadership styles on student outcomes and the development of leadership training programs for educational leaders

Abstract

This study examines leading school and college improvement, the research method uses the type of library research, which is a series of activities related to library data collection methods. The results of the study found that to improve the quality of education in schools, various management models and quality improvement strategies could be taken, including Total Quality Management Theory, Organizing Business For Excelency Theory, Four Factor Quality Improvement Models, and Education Quality Improvement through School-Based Management. The strategy to improve the quality of education in schools can be done in the following ways: namely a strategy that emphasizes the results (the output oriented strategy), a strategy that emphasizes the process (the process oriented strategy), and a comprehensive strategy (the comprehensive strategy). As for the challenges in efforts to improve the quality of education in schools, there are many but in essence the inadequate resources of education actors in schools, political will from policy holders and the education policy itself. Some things that must be considered in connection with the strategy to improve the quality of education in universities include Students Who Are Educated, Lecturers as Educators and Teachers, Facilities and Infrastructure

Abstract

Musyarakah adalah akad kerjasama antara dua pihak untuk usaha tertentu, dimana kedua belah pihak sama-sama menyertakan modal yang masing-masing disebut dengan syirkah. Ketentuan modal tergantung kesepakatan kedua belah pihak dan bagi hasil sesuai dengan porsi modal masing-masing. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembiayaan musyarakah pada Bank Syariah Indonesia KC. Kutacane dalam hal kerja sama dan pembagian kerugian belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan ketentuan dasar pembiayaan musyarakah, seperti yang telah ditetapkan dalam Fatwa Dewan Syari’ah Nasional Nomor 08/DSN-MUI/IV/2000 tentang pembiayaan musyarakah. Faktor pendukung pelaksanaan sistem pembiayaan musyarakah adalah Modal, yaitu dana yang digunakan untuk pembiayaan musyarakah merupakan dana yang bersumber dari dana APBD, tingkat promosi yang baik dan proyek, yaitu banyaknya pembangunan dan perbaikan infrastruktur transportasi. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah Kurangnya minat nasabah terhadap perbankan Syari’ah terutama tentang pembiayaan dengan sistem bagi hasil, dan ketidakjujuran nasabah dalam memberikan informasi tentang laporan keuangan hasil usaha yang dijalani.
