Abstract

Profesi kepolisian dikenal memiliki tingkat stres tinggi dan rentan mengalami burnout akibat tuntutan pekerjaan berat dan jam kerja panjang. Work family conflict timbul dari ketidakseimbangan antara tuntutan pekerjaan dan keluarga, dapat menjadi faktor signifikan dalam terjadinya burnout. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh work family conflict terhadap burnout pada anggota kepolisian di Polres Karawang. Studi terdahulu menunjukkan bahwa work family conflict dapat menjadi prediktor burnout pada berbagai profesi, termasuk kepolisian. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik sampling yang digunakan Purposive Sampling, sampel terdiri dari 271 personil Polri di Polres Karawang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan The Multidimensional Measure of Work Family Conflict dan Maslach Burnout Inventory – Human Service Survey (MBI-HSS). Hasil analisis regresi sederhana menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara work family conflict terhadap burnout ditunjukan dengan hasil (t = 37,590, p < 0,05). Work family conflict berkontribusi sebesar 84% terhadap terjadinya burnout. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya upaya mengurangi work family conflict di kalangan anggota kepolisian untuk mencegah dan mengurangi burnout.

Abstract

Pria transgender adalah pria yang mengidentifikasi diri sebagai wanita, tetapi ditetapkan sebagai pria saat lahir. Pria transgender atau wanita pria (yang selanjutnya disebut waria) juga dikenal sebagai pria trans, transmaskulin atau pria dengan pengalaman transgender. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan sosial dan self-efficacy terhadap psychological well-being. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah pria transgender berusia 25 – diatas 45 tahun yang berdomisili di Kabupaten Bekasi dengan jumlah 105 partisipan. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik snowball sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan skala multidimensional scale of perceived social support (MSPSS), general self-efficacy scale (GSES), dan psychological well-being scales (RPWBS) dengan metode kuantitatif dan desain penelitian kausalitas. Analisis data menggunakan teknik regresi berganda, dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 25.0 for windows 64-bit. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini ada Hasil dari analisis data diperoleh nilai signifikansi regresi dukungan sosial dan self-efficacy terhadap psychological well-being sebesar 0,000 (P= 0,000<0,05) yang artinya hipotesis diterima, yaitu adanya pengaruh dukungan sosial dan self-efficacy terhadap psychological well-being pada pria transgender di Kabupaten Bekasi. Nilai Koefiensi determinasi dukungan sosial dan self- efficacy terhadap psychological well-being adalah (R Square) 0.696 atau 69,6%, yang di mana dukungan sosial berkontribusi 48,6% sedangkan self-efficacy 21.0% artinya dukungan sosial memiliki pengaruh lebih besar dari pada self-efficacy terhadap psychological well-being pada pria transgender di Kabupaten Bekasi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of adverse childhood experiencess and social support on self-harm behavior among adolescents from broken homes. The study sample consisted of 204 participants, including 65 males and 139 females aged between 13 and 21 years old residing in Karawang Regency. The sampling technique used was convenience sampling, which involves selecting participants based on their availability and ease of access. Data collection was conducted using a quantitative approach with three main instruments: the Self-harm Inventory (SHI) to measure self-harm behavior, the Adverse childhood experiences Questionnaire (ACE-Q) to measure adverse childhood experiencess, and the Social Provisions Scale (SPS) to measure perceptions of social support. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results of the analysis indicated that adverse childhood experiencess significantly influenced self-harm behavior (significance value = 0.00; p < 0.05). However, social support did not have a significant influence on self-harm behavior (significance value = 0.187; p > 0.05). These findings indicate that adverse childhood experiencess play an important role in the development of self-harm behavior, while social support may not be sufficient to reduce the tendency toward self-harm behavior among adolescents from broken homes in Karawang.

Abstract

Rasa ingin tahu yang mendalam dapat membuat psikologis individu merasa tidak tenang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh epistemic curiosity terhadap psychological well-being dengan tambahan academic burnout sebagai variabel mediator. Menggunakan design kuantitatif, penelitian ni melibatkan responden sebanyak 534 mahasiswa dari universitas negeri dan swasta. Data diambil dengan tehnik convenience & snowaball sampling melalui google-form secara online. Hasil analisis menunjukkan epistemic curiosity tidak berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap psychological well-being. Namun academic burnout berhasil menjadi mediator pada pengaruh epistemic curiosity terhadap psychological well-being. Dengan kata lain, mahasiswa yang mengalami ketidaksejahteraan psikologis tidak semata-mata karena rasa keingintahuan yang mendalam, akan tetapi secara bersamaan individu juga mengalami kelelahan dalam menghadapi serta menjalani tugas dan tanggung jawabnya sebagai mahasiswa.

Abstract

The absence of a father figure in a child’s life has a long-term impact on the psychological and social development of the individual, particularly in forming interpersonal relationships such as romantic relationships in early adulthood. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of fatherlessness on romantic relationships, with a total of 204 participants, who are young adults who have experienced fatherlessness and are currently in romantic relationships. This study employs a quantitative method with a causal design, non-probability sampling techniques, and accidental sampling as the sampling method. Two scales were used in this study: the Father Presence Questionnaire and the Relatiionship Assesment Scale, with data analysis conducted using simple linear regression techniques. The analysis results indicate a significant influence between fatherlessness and romantic relationships in young adults, with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). The result of this study show that the higher the level of fatherlessness in young adults, the stronger the romantic relatinships that can be built. This indicates a tendency to become closer to one’s partner as an effort to fill the void caused by the absence of a father in the past. The influence shown is quite strong with an R value of 0.674 and R-square of 0.455, meaning that 45,5% is fluence by the fatherless factor while the remaining 54,5% is influenced by other factors. One of the other factors influencing romantic relationships is communication.

Abstract

Doomscrolling, defined as the excessive consumption of negative information on social media, has become one of the factors that worsen mental health among Generation Z. This study aims to examine the effect of doomscrolling on the mental health of Gen Z in Karawang. A quantitative method with a causal design was applied, involving 384 respondents aged 13–28 years selected through snowball sampling. The instruments used were the Doomscrolling Scale and the Mental Health Inventory (MHI-38), both of which had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression. The findings revealed that doomscrolling had a significant effect on mental health, with a regression coefficient of -0.748 (p < 0.001) and a contribution of 75.7%. This indicates that higher levels of doomscrolling are associated with lower levels of mental health among respondents. These results highlight the urgency of promoting digital literacy, emotional regulation, and psychological interventions to help Generation Z manage social media use more wisely and maintain psychological well-being.

Abstract

Teenage girls are vulnerable to body dissatisfaction due to beauty standards shaped by the media and social environment. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of self-concept and social support on body image among teenage girls in Karawang, as well as the simultaneous influence of both on body image among teenage girls in Karawang. The research method used a quantitative approach with a causal design. The sample consisted of 348 adolescent female respondents obtained through non-probability sampling using incidental sampling. The research instruments included the Self-Concept Scale to measure self-concept, the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) to measure social support, and the Body Image Scale to measure body image. All instruments underwent validity and reliability testing with satisfactory results. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS program. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant influence of self-concept on body image, a significant influence of social support on body image, and a significant simultaneous influence of self-concept and social support on body image among adolescent girls in Karawang.

Abstract

The reduced number of employees caused by the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic has caused the workload of employees who are still working to increase, so that employees experience burnout. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the influence of coworker support on burnout, the influence of coworker support on resilience, the effect of resilience on burnout and the influence of coworker support on burnout with resilience as the mediator. The research subjects are workers who are domiciled in Karawang, the number of respondents is 400 people taken using the incidental sampling technique. This study uses a quantitative approach. Questionnaires were distributed via Google form. The burnout scale using the adaptation scale from the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Human Service Survey (MBI-HSS) which consists of 11 question items, the peer support scale using the adaptation scale from Sarafino & Smith theory which consist of 20 question items, the resilience scale uses the adaptation scale from Connor David’s Resilience Scale (CD-RISC), which consists of 23 items questions. Data analysis using simple regression and multiple regression. The influence of coworker support variables on burnout is 19.1%. The influence of peer support on resilience is 4.7%. The effect of resilience on burnout. The effect of resilience on burnout is 24.2%. The influence of the mediator using the Sobel calculator with a value of 3.98. Based on the results of statistical tests conducted, there is a significant positive effect of coworker support on resilience, there is a significant negative effect of coworker support on burnout, there is a significant negative effect of resilience on burnout, there is a mediator effect of the resilience between coworker support on burnout.Pengurangan jumlah karyawan yang disebabkan oleh efek pandemi covid-19 menyebabkan beban kerja karyawan yang masih bekerja bertambah, sehingga karyawan mengalami burnout. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh dukungan rekan kerja terhadap burnout, pengaruh dukungan rekan kerja terhadap resiliensi, pengaruh resiliensi terhadap burnout dan pengaruh dukungan rekan kerja terhadap burnout dengan resiliensi sebagai mediator nya. Subjek penelitian merupakan tenaga kerja yang berdomisili di Kabupaten Karawang, jumlah responden sebanyak 400 orang diambil menggunakan teknik Incidental sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Kuesioner di sebar melalui Google form. Skala burnout menggunakan skala adaptasi dari Masclach Burnout Inventory-Human Service Survey (MBI-HSS) yang terdiri dari 11 aitem pertanyaan, skala dukungan rekan kerja menggunakan skala adaptasi dari teori Sarafino & Smith yang terdiri dari 20 aitem pertanyaan, skala resiliensi menggunakan skala adaptasi dari Connor-Davidson’s Resilience Scale (CD-RISC), yang terdiri dari 23 aitem pertanyaan. Analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana dan regresi berganda. Besar pengaruh variabel dukungan rekan kerja terhadap burnout sebesar 19.1%. Besar pengaruh dukungan rekan kerja terhadap resiliensi sebesar 4.7%. Besar pengaruh resiliensi terhadap burnout sebesar 24.2%. Besar pengaruh mediator menggunakan kalkulator sobel dengan nilai sebesar 3.98. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik yang dilakukan terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan dukungan rekan kerja terhadap resiliensi, terdapat pengaruh negatif signifikan dukungan rekan kerja terhadap burnout, terdapat pengaruh negatif siginifikan resiliensi terhadap burnout, terdapat pengaruh mediator resiliensi antara dukungan rekan kerja terhadap burnout.

Abstract

At each stage of development, individuals have tasks and demands that must be met during the transition from adolescence to adulthood. Term Emerging adulthood introduced by Arnett (2000), namely the phase of self-exploration in various aspects during the transition from adolescence to adulthood. To overcome obstacles and challenges in the future emerging adulthood, individuals must have the strength to endure and develop positive emotions. This ability is referred to as resilience. Resilience is an individual's ability to survive and adapt to difficult circumstances in their life. In order for the transition to be successful in facing change, individuals need social support to reduce psychological pressure and control negative emotions. StudyThis aims to determine the impact of social support on resilience in emerging adulthood in Karawang. This quantitative research involved 100 early adults in Karawang using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires distributed randomly.daring. Resilience is measured using the Connor-Davidson scaleResilience Scale (CD-RISC) modified by Yu & Zhang (2007), while social support was measured using scala Multidimensional Scale Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) from Zimet (2015) theory. The significance value shows that social support has a significant positive influence of (F=13.615) with sig. 0.000 (p<0.05), proving that there is a significant positive influence between social support on resilience in emerging adulthood in Karawang. The analysis results prove the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.491, which means that social support has an influence of 49.1 percent, the remaining 50.9 percent is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this research. It is hoped that individuals who are in the future emerging adulthood, not to hesitate to ask for physical and psychological support from the surrounding environment in facing a developmental crisis.Di setiap tahap perkembangan, individu mempunyai  tugas serta  tuntutan yang harus terpenuhi di masa transisi dari remaja menuju dewasa. Istilah emerging adulthood dikenalkan oleh Arnett (2000), yaitu fase mengekplorasi diri dalam berbagai aspek di masa peralihan dari remaja menuju dewasa. Untuk mengatasi hambatan dan tantangan di masa emerging adulthood, individu harus memiliki kekuatan untuk bertahan dan mengembangkan emosi positif. Kemampuan ini disebut sebagai resiliensi. Resiliensi adalah kemampuan individu untuk bertahan dan beradaptasi pada keadaan sulit dalam hidupnya. Agar arahtransisi sukses dalam menghadapi perubahan, individu memerlukan dukungan sosial untuk menurunkan tekanan psikologis dan mengontrol emosi negatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak dukungan sosial terhadap resiliensi pada emerging adulthood di Karawang. Penelitian kuantitatif ini melibatkan 100 dewasa awal di Karawang memakai teknik purposive sampling.Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan penyebaran kuesioner secara daring. Resiliensi diukur menggunakan skala Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) yang dimodifikasi oleh Yu & Zhang (2007), sedangkan dukungan sosial diukur memakai skala Multidimensional Scale Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) dari teori Zimet (2015). Nilai signifikasi menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial memiliki pengaruh positif dengan signifikan sebesar (F=13,615) dengan sig. 0.000 (p< 0,05), membuktikan bahwa adanya pengaruh positif yang   signifikan antara dukungan sosial terhadap resiliensi pada emerging adulthood di Karawang. Hasil analisis membuktikan nilai koefisiensi determinasi (R2) sebesar 0.491 yang berarti bahwa dukungan sosial memiliki pengaruh 49,1 persen, selebihnya sebesar 50,9 persen dipengaruhi faktor lain diluar cakupan penelitian ini. Diharapkan individu yang berada di masa emerging adulthood, untuk tidak ragu meminta dukungan secara fisik dan psikologis dari lingkungan sekitar dalam menghadapi krisis perkembangan.

Abstract

Well-being is something that humans always want to achieve because it is considered as an important thing in life. Everyone will strive to achieve their welfare with all the efforts made, one of which is undergoing the profession of being a Gojek driver. Employees can be said to have high subjective well-being if they are satisfied with their work and more often experience positive emotional experiences and rarely experience negative emotions. Drivers choose this profession because of work-life balance, besides the factors that affect subjective well-being, namely selfesteem. This research was conducted to see the effect of work-life balance and self-esteem on the subjective well-being of motorbike taxi drivers in Karawang. The method used in this research is quantitative method. The sampling technique uses incidental sampling. The number of participants as many as 220 driver participants in Karawang, data collection using a questionnaire which consists of three scales, namely the work-life balance scale, self-esteem scale, and satisfaction with life scale. Hypothesis testing in this study used multiple regression analysis, based on the results of data analysis showing Sig.F 0.005 <0.05 (p <0.05) so that there is an influence between worklife balance and self-esteem variables on subjective well being. The amount of influence is 10.4% (R2 = 0.104) and the remaining 89.6% is influenced by other factors. Keywords: Gojek driver, work-life balance, self-esteem, subjective well-being. Kesejahteraan (well-being) merupakan hal yang selalu ingin dicapai oleh manusia, karena dianggap sebagai hal yang penting dalam kehidupan. Setiap orang akan berupaya untuk mencapai kesejahteraannya dengan segala upaya yang dilakukan, salah satunya menjalani profesi menjadi driver Gojek. Karyawan dapat dikatakan memiliki subjective well-being yang tinggi jika mereka puas dengan pekerjaannya dan lebih sering mengalami pengalaman emosi yang positif dan jarang mengalami pengalaman emosi yang negatif. Driver memilih profesi tersebut karena keseimbangan kehidupan kerja atau disebut juga work-life balance, selain itu faktor yang mempegaruhi subjective well-being yaitu self-esteem. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh dari work-life balance dan self-esteem terhadap subjective well-being pada driver gojek yang ada di Karawang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif, teknik pengambilan sampling menggunakan insidental. Jumlah partisipan sebanyak 220 partisipan driver di Karawang, pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari tiga skala, yaitu skala work life balance, self-esteem scale, dan satisfaction with life scale. Uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda, berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukan Sig.F 0,005<0,05 (p<0,05) sehingga terdapat pengaruh antara variabel work-life balance dan selfesteem terhadap subjective well-being. Besarnya pengaruh sebesar 10,4% (R2=0,104) dan selebihnya 89,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Kata Kunci: Driver gojek, work-life balance, self-esteem, subjective well-being.
