Abstract

Most successful people, they already know their potential. Currently students who continue to enter public and private universities are Generation Z who are open to advanced technological developments. But apart from that, a term emerged that is currently going viral among Genarasi Z itself, namely the Remaining People. Many of them are comfortable and lazy to do self-development. The method used in this service is Small Group Discussion, which is giving a case to be discussed at the small group level. Problem Based Learning is a model that trains and develops the ability to solve problems oriented to authentic problems from actual life, to stimulate higher order thinking skills. Discovery Learning is a method of giving study or research assignments to students with the aim of being able to find the answers to the expected targets themselves. Students can take lessons from the stories and stories told, so that it is easier to recognize their potential. It is very important for students to see and hear firsthand the stories and experiences of successful people, so that they can motivate themselves, of course, in a style that keeps up with developments.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase the accuracy for rice plant disease classification by developing a hybrid optimization model using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) in combination with Extreme Learning Machine (ELM), followed by Support Vector Machine. A key issue is to overcome with traditional expert systems that difficult, due the variation differences and complex among rice plant image data set. For feature extraction, plant images are passed through CNN and for classification ELM & SVM used. Experimental results show the best accuracy of 98.63% is attained using CNN+ELM model on images resized to 100x100 pixels and has precision, recall, F1-Score all at value=0.99 By comparison, the CNN+SVM model achieves an accuracy of 91.92% using that same image size. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak pelatihan bisnis digital terhadap peningkatan produktivitas dan operasional UMKM di Kelurahan Urug Kawalu, Kota Tasikmalaya. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK), UMKM di Indonesia menghadapi tantangan dalam mengadopsi teknologi digital untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan efisiensi operasional. Pelatihan bisnis digital yang dilaksanakan mencakup manajemen bisnis digital, pemanfaatan e-commerce, inovasi produk, dan kewirausahaan digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan pelaku UMKM dalam pengelolaan keuangan, pemasaran digital, serta inovasi produk. Penggunaan media sosial dan platform e-commerce telah memperluas jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan daya saing UMKM, baik di pasar lokal maupun global. Meskipun demikian, tantangan terkait keterbatasan akses terhadap teknologi yang lebih canggih dan permodalan masih menjadi hambatan dalam mengoptimalkan potensi UMKM. Pelatihan bisnis digital ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model bagi pengembangan UMKM di daerah lain, serta memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap perekonomian lokal dan nasional. Keberhasilan pelatihan ini juga menegaskan pentingnya sinergi antara pemerintah, masyarakat, dan sektor swasta dalam mendukung pengembangan UMKM melalui digitalisasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of Job Competence, Workload, and Reward System on Employee Performance in the Economic Division of the Regional Secretariat in Batam City. The context of this study stems from the phenomenon of suboptimal employee performance, characterised by delays in completing macroeconomic reports and work results that do not meet organisational goals. The main factors suspected of influencing this condition are employee competencies that do not fully match job demands, disproportionate distribution of workloads, and an ineffective and unfair reward system. This study uses a quantitative, associative research design. The study population consisted of 35 employees, all sampled using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analysed using multiple linear regression in SPSS version 25. The results of the study indicate that Job Competence, Workload, and Reward System have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.742 indicates that these three variables explain 74.2% of the variation in Employee Performance, while factors outside the research model explain the remaining 25.8%. This finding underscores the importance of enhancing competency, managing a balanced workload, and implementing a fair and transparent reward system to boost employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation, work culture, and responsibility on employee performance at the Galang District Office, Batam City. The study sample included all 91 employees using census techniques. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature reviews. Data analysis used validity and reliability tests, as well as multiple regression to examine the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results showed that work motivation contributed the most significant amount of 38.7% to employee performance, followed by work culture at 33.2% and responsibility at 28.1%. These three variables simultaneously had a significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by a calculated F value > the F table value. This study shows that improving employee performance does not depend solely on one factor, but rather on a balanced combination of work motivation, work culture, and responsibility. This finding emphasizes the importance of implementing an integrated human resource management strategy to improve the quality of public services at the Galang District Office.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of the reward system, work motivation, and work facilities on employee performance in the Lubuk Baja District, Batam City. This study's background is grounded in the deteriorating quality of public services attributed to insufficient work motivation, an ineffective reward system, and inadequate work facilities. The research employed a quantitative methodology utilising a survey technique. The sample consisted of 35 Lubuk Baja District employees, and data analysis was conducted through multiple linear regression using SPSS version 25. The results of the study indicate that the reward system partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (p=0.010; beta=0.312). Work motivation also has a considerable positive impact (significance 0.004; regression coefficient 0.327), as do work facilities (significance 0.016; regression coefficient 0.284). Simultaneously, the three independent variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance (F-count 42.753; significance 0.000 < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.787 indicates that these three variables explain 78.7% of the variation in employee performance, with the remaining 21.3% explained by factors outside this study. These findings confirm that improving employee performance requires a holistic approach that combines an effective reward system, high work motivation, and adequate work facilities.

Abstract

Abstrak: Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit endemik tahunan di Indonesia. Upaya pencegahan penularan vektor Aedes sp. di lingkungan sekolah dapat dilakukan dengan melibatkan siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Palang Merah Remaja (PMR) melalui peran sebagai Juru Pemantau Jentik (Jumantik). Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkenalkan aplikasi berbasis teknologi yang mudah diakses oleh anggota PMR untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang nyamuk penular DBD, serta membentuk akun media sosial Jumantik PMR sebagai sarana komunikasi. Metode kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, pembuatan aplikasi, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, evaluasi, dan perencanaan keberlanjutan program. Evaluasi pengetahuan dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen pre-test dan post-test yang terdiri dari 15 pertanyaan yang sama, yang mengukur pemahaman peserta mengenai penggunaan aplikasi serta pengetahuan terkait nyamuk vektor DBD. Sebanyak 100 anggota PMR dari 25 SMA di Kota Tasikmalaya terlibat sebagai peserta. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan peserta, terutama mengenai tempat perindukan dan siklus hidup nyamuk. Hasil kuesioner memperlihatkan bahwa 100% peserta menilai aplikasi Jumantik sangat membantu pelaporan kegiatan di sekolah sekaligus sebagai sumber rujukan. Selain itu, 100% responden menyatakan akun media sosial Jumantik PMR bermanfaat untuk berbagi informasi penting terkait kegiatan jumantik. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan anggota PMR tentang vektor DBD dan memberikan sarana inovatif berupa aplikasi serta media sosial untuk mendukung kegiatan jumantik di sekolah.Abstract: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an annual endemic disease in Indonesia. Efforts to prevent the transmission of Aedes sp. vectors in the school environment can be done by involving students in extracurricular activities of the Red Cross Youth (PMR) through the role of Mosquito Larva Monitoring Officer (Jumantik). This community service activity aims to introduce a technology-based application that is easily accessible to PMR members to increase their knowledge about dengue-carrying mosquitoes and to create a PMR Jumantik social media account as a means of communication. The activity methods include socialization, training, application development, technology implementation, mentoring, evaluation, and program sustainability planning. Knowledge evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test instruments consisting of 15 identical questions, which measured participants' understanding of application usage and knowledge related to dengue vector mosquitoes. A total of 100 Red Cross members from 25 high schools in Tasikmalaya City participated as participants. This activity demonstrates a significant increase in participants' knowledge, particularly regarding mosquito breeding sites and life cycles. The questionnaire results show that 100% of participants rated the Jumantik application as very helpful for reporting activities at school and as a source of reference. Additionally, 100% of respondents stated that the Jumantik PMR social media account is useful for sharing important information related to Jumantik activities. This program successfully increased PMR members' knowledge about dengue vectors and provided innovative tools such as applications and social media to support jumantik activities in schools.

Abstract

Abstrak: Demam berdarah dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit tahunan di Indonesia. 3M plus adalah bentuk gerakan dengan tujuan mencegah penularan penyakit DBD. Gerakan tersebut tidak hanya dapat dilakukan di lingkungan masyarakat tetapi juga harus dilakukan di lingkungan sekolah. Ekstra kurikuler Palang Merah Remaja (PMR) dapat menjadi penggerak kegiatan 3M ini di lingkungan sekolah dengan menjadikan mereka sebagai Jumantik (Juru Pemantau Jentik). Kegiatan yang dilakukan ini memiliki tujuan untuk dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta mengenai nyamuk penularan penyakit demam berdarah dengue (DBD) pada anggota PMR di Kota Tasikmalaya sehingga diharapkan dapat menjadi jumantik yang baik. Metode yang dilakukan adalah memberikan pre test sebelum dilakukan pemberian materi dan post test setelah dilakukan pemberian materi tentang nyamuk vektor penyakit demam berdarah. Peserta yang menjadi peserta kegiatan berjumlah 70 orang, yang merupakan anggota dan pembina PMR dari 15 Sekolah Menengah Atas di Kota Tasikmalaya. Kegiatan ini melibatkan mitra sebagai koordinator PMR, yaitu SMAN 5 Kota Tasikmalaya. Hasil dari kegiatan ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dari peserta dengan rata-rata 35,7 % setelah dilakukan pemberian materi, yang dibuktikan dengan uji t-test didapat nilai sig (2-tailed) ≤ 0,05 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil sebelum dan sesudah pemaparan materi.Abstract: Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is an annual disease in Indonesia. 3M Plus is a form of movement aimed at preventing dengue fever transmission. This movement should not only take place in the community but also in the school environment. The Youth Red Cross (PMR) extra-curricular activity can be a driving force for 3M activities in the school environment by making them Jumantik (Larvae Monitoring Volunteers). We conducted this activity to enhance the participants' understanding of mosquitoes that spread dengue hemorrhagic fever (DBD) among PMR members in Tasikmalaya City, with the goal of preparing them to become effective jumantiks. The method used was to give a pre-test before giving material and a post-test after giving material about mosquitoes that are vectors of dengue fever. There were 70 participants, who were PMR members and coaches from 15 high schools in Tasikmalaya City. This activity involved partners as PMR coordinators, namely SMAN 5 Tasikmalaya City. The results of this activity are shown by the increase in knowledge of the participants with an average of 35.7% after the presentation of the material, as evidenced by the t-test obtained sig value (2-tailed) ≤ 0.05, which means there is a significant difference in the results before and after the presentation of the material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mensintesis temuan-temuan literatur terkait dampak digitalisasi operasional melalui sistem informasi terpadu terhadap peningkatan produktivitas dan penciptaan nilai bisnis organisasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, melalui penelusuran dan seleksi publikasi ilmiah nasional dan internasional yang relevan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola hubungan dan mekanisme konseptual antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi operasional berperan signifikan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi, otomasi proses, dan kualitas data, sementara sistem informasi terpadu memperkuat integrasi data dan proses kerja, mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis bukti, serta mempercepat respons organisasi terhadap dinamika lingkungan bisnis. Kombinasi digitalisasi operasional dan sistem informasi terpadu terbukti berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan produktivitas organisasi dan penciptaan nilai bisnis, baik dari sisi efisiensi operasional, kualitas layanan, maupun keunggulan kompetitif. Simpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa digitalisasi operasional dan sistem informasi terpadu merupakan strategi fundamental yang saling melengkapi dalam mendorong produktivitas dan nilai bisnis organisasi, dengan keberhasilan implementasinya sangat dipengaruhi oleh kesiapan teknologi, kualitas sumber daya manusia, dan dukungan manajerial dalam pengelolaan perubahan di era transformasi digital.   Kata Kunci: Digitalisasi Operasional, Sistem Informasi Terpadu, Produktivitas, Nilai Bisnis

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of emotional intelligence, transformational leadership, and work engagement on employee job satisfaction at the Regional Revenue Agency of Batam City, Indonesia. Employee job satisfaction is a critical factor in improving organizational performance, particularly in public sector institutions that face high administrative demands and service responsibilities. This research adopts a quantitative approach using a causal associative design. The population consisted of all civil servants working at the Regional Revenue Agency of Batam City, totaling 67 employees, and a saturated sampling technique was applied, resulting in 67 respondents. Data were collected through structured questionnaires measured using a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Employees with higher emotional intelligence are better able to manage work pressure, maintain interpersonal relationships, and adapt to organizational demands. Transformational leadership was also found to have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, highlighting the importance of inspirational motivation, individual consideration, and intellectual stimulation in enhancing employees’ positive attitudes toward their work. Furthermore, work engagement significantly influences job satisfaction, as employees who demonstrate vigor, dedication, and absorption tend to experience higher levels of satisfaction in their jobs. Simultaneously, emotional intelligence, transformational leadership, and work engagement have a significant combined effect on employee job satisfaction, with an adjusted R-square value of 0.989. This indicates that 98.9% of the variation in job satisfaction can be explained by these three variables, while the remaining 1.1% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The findings suggest that public organizations should prioritize the development of emotional intelligence, effective transformational leadership practices, and employee engagement to enhance job satisfaction and organizational performance.
