Abstract

Vocational high schools (SMK) play an important role in preparing students for the world of work. However, student learning outcomes in the subject of Electrical Lighting Installation at SMK Negeri 5 Kota Padang are still relatively low, with an average pretest score of 57.34. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model in improving student learning outcomes. The research method used was classroom action research with 32 students from class XI TITL as subjects. Data were collected through pre-tests, post-tests, and observations of student activities during learning. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of STAD successfully improved student learning outcomes significantly, with an average post-test score of 82.19 and an N-Gain Score of 0.58 (moderate category). Academic achievement also increased from 15.6% to 75%. Further analysis revealed that collaborative interactions within groups, the reward system, and active student participation were key factors contributing to the success of this method. However, challenges such as time management and low student engagement require attention. It is concluded that the STAD model is effective in improving students' learning outcomes in the subject of Electrical Lighting Installation, both in terms of cognitive aspects and social skills. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers implement STAD with proper syntax and consider developing supporting media such as digital simulations to optimize the learning process.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan kepada masyarakat di Nagari Baruah Gunung Kecamatan Bukik Barisan Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk penyuluhan dan pelatihan pemasangan instalasi listrik rumah tangga. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan cara penyuluhan dan pelatihan mengenai: bahaya kejut listrik dan cara menghindarinya, serta instalasi dan penghematan listrik. Materi yang diberikan dalam pelatihan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini antara lain: sambungan kabel, pemasangan kabel, instalasi box sekering, saklar tunggal dan saklar seri serta merangkai lampu, instalasi saklar, dan instalasi saklar hotel dan stop kontak. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini memberikan hasil yaitu meningkatnya pengetahuan peserta tentang manfaat listrik, meningkatnya pengetahuan peserta tentang bahaya listrik, dan meningkatnya pengetahuan peserta tentang instalasi listrik rumah tangga yang benar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (developmental research), Kerangka suatu produk yang berkualitas meliputi tiga kriteria,yaitu validity, practicality and effectiveness. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat instrumen penilaian yang layak digunakan terhadap pembelajaran model blended learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (developmental research), Kerangka suatu produk yang berkualitas meliputi tiga kriteria,yaitu validity, practicality and effectiveness, karena penelitian mengembangkan instrumen yang dikembangkan adalah instrumen menggunak platform online dan instrumen tatap muka. Penelitian dilaksanakan di semester Genap  prodi Pendidikan Informatika Tahun akademik 2021/2022. Hasil validasi perangkat instrumen daring Instrumen Daring Menggunakan Google From berada pada skala 3,4 dengan kategori valid, Validitas Instrumen Luring berada pada skala 3,6 dengan kategori valid, selanjutnya untuk ke praktisan hasil analisis dari semua kegiatan yang ada di dalam RPP dengan skor rata-rata adalah 3,5 dengan kategori sangat baik.Untuk hasil angket Respon siswa Hasil Respon  dari 15 Orang Siswa skor rata-rata adalah 3,3 dengan kategori baik.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan penilaian berbasis Blanded learning ini sesuai dengan konsep merdeka belajar atau merdeka assesmet yang penilaiannya dapat dilaksanakan kapan, dimana bahkan dilakukan oleh siapa saja. Penialain berbasis Blanded learning ini dapat digunakan untuk penilaian formatif dan penilaian sumatif di kelas sehingga layak untuk  digunakan dalam pembelajaran baik daring maupun luring.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian R & D dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate).  Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah LKPD (Lembar Kerja Perserta Didik), perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan menggunakan model Inkuiri Terbimbing untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa. Hasil validasi perangkat Lembar Kerja Perserta Didik model Inkuiri Terbimbing untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa, oleh ahli materi validasi materi adalah rata- rata 90,3 % termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Baik”, sedangkan hasil validasi oleh ahli media rata-rata nilainya adalah 87,4 % “Baik”. Untuk hasil angket Respon siswa terhadap Lembar Kerja Perserta Didik model Inkuiri Terbimbing untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa yang telah di kembangkan dengan nilai dari Skala 1 hingga 4 maka memeperoleh nilai rata- rata 3,5 dengan kategori baik, artinya siswa memiliki respon positif terhadap Lembar Kerja Perserta Didik (LKPD) yang dikembangkan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelirian ini perangkat pembelajaran dengan desain PBL yang beorientasi pada siswa untuk melatih berpikir kreatif siswa. Sehingga siswa mampu menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan hidup baik di sekolah maupun di masyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (developmental research), Kerangka suatu produk yang berkualitas meliputitiga kriteria,yaitu validity, practicality dan effectiveness. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis PBL yang dikembangkan layak untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of the Project-based learning model in the Electrical Power Installation subject at SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh. This research uses experimental research methods. The research design used was a pre-experimental one group pretest posttest design. This design involves one group being given a pretest (O1), given treatment (X) and given a posttest (O2). The subjects of this research were all students of class XI TITL 2 SMKN 2 Payakumbuh for the 2023/2024 academic year. The first measurement is carried out before the subject is given treatment and the second measurement is carried out after the subject is given treatment. The research results show that the application of the Project-based learning model in the Electrical Power Installation subject class XI TITL 2 SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh can improve student learning outcomes. These results can be seen from the knowledge domain, namely the pretest and posttest results which were analyzed using the N-Gain Score formula into the medium category and using completeness the learning results increased from the medium category to very high. By obtaining this data, it can be concluded that by implementing the Project-based learning model, the learning outcomes of class XI TITL 2 students have greatly increased in the Electrical Power Installation subject.

Abstract

Objectives from the study This is an instrument for reliable online project-based learning assessment for vocational education students. Study This uses 10 procedures for the non-ttest instrument developed by Mardapi. The population study covers the whole Electrical Engineering Education student’s year at the First Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang. The sample consists of the 250 students selected through two stages: the trial stage, which uses the cluster random sampling method, and the stage measurement, which uses the simple random sampling method. Data analysis was performed using validity tests using the Aiken index as well as validity and reliability tests. Findings study These are (1) instruments. The assessment of project-based learning online consists of 30 valid and reliable items, so it can be used by lecturers. (2) Ability to measure cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills in the learning process Cognitive, affective, and psychomotor vocational education students tend Good.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the influence between leadership style, organizational culture, and self-concept on the trainers’ performance at the Vocational Training Institutions in Batam. These factors are contributing a lot to the successive performance of the students, trainers, and institutions. However, this study only gives framework to the performance of the trainers. Improving trainers’ performance will lead to the improvement of training or educational operation. Some methods such as interviews, observations and questionnaires were used to collect the data. There were 82 trainers selected as respondents to fill the questionnaires, and the data obtained were analyzed using SPSS program. Statistical test methods such as prerequisite analytical tests, t-test, F-test, multiple linear regressions, and coefficients determination. The results give conclusion that there is significant effect and correlation between the leadership styles, organizational cultures, and self-concept on the trainers’ performance at the Vocational Training Institutions in Batam.

Abstract

This research is performed to evaluate the implementation of ISO 900A Lead Auditor Training program using CIPP model evaluation method which comprising of four aspects i.e.: (1) Context, (2) Input, (3) Process and (4) Product. The research method is using mixed method by using both quantitative and qualitative methods, where the data are collected using sampling technique by distributing questionnaires to 15 trainers and 25 trainees or training participants. The data also enriched by using qualitative method of interview and observation done on trainers and training participants. The results of the research and studies show that the training program from the context aspects of the trainers is 80.65% and from participants is 80.45%, from the input aspects of the trainers and participants are consecutively 81.5% and 75.87%, from the process aspects are 79.2% and 71.87%, and from the product aspects of trainers and participants are 80.02% and 75.7%. This can be concluded that the range of TPR are from 71.87% to 81.5% which fall into ‘good’ and ‘very good’ categories.

Abstract

This research develops an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Smart Home system using the Blynk platform and the ESP32 microcontroller. The system is designed to facilitate remote control of household electronic devices through a smartphone application, thereby optimizing energy use and enhancing efficiency. In its implementation, the ESP32 serves as the main connector of electronic devices to the internet, while relays are used to control the power of devices like lights. This system not only increases user convenience but also reduces the risk of household accidents caused by devices left on unintentionally. The research results show that users can monitor and control device status in real time, potentially lowering monthly electricity costs. This system is considered suitable for application in smart homes, providing easy, efficient, and safe remote control
