Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis peran etika profesi dalam membangun integritas dan dampaknya terhadap kinerja profesional. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan wawancara terhadap pegawai di berbagai divisi organisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman dan penerapan kode etik, seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan akuntabilitas, membentuk integritas yang berkontribusi pada peningkatan kinerja profesional. Lingkungan kerja yang mendukung, termasuk budaya organisasi dan pengawasan internal, memperkuat penerapan etika dan integritas. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya etika profesi dan integritas sebagai landasan profesionalisme dan strategi peningkatan kinerja.

Abstract

The land mafia case involving forged certificates belonging to Nirina Zubir’s family highlights weaknesses in the integrity, professionalism, and supervision of notary practices in the transfer of land rights. The involvement of notaries in preparing deeds and legalizing false documents shows that their function as public officials responsible for ensuring the authenticity of identities and the formal validity of documents was not carried out according to legal and ethical standards. This situation causes significant losses for landowners and threatens public legal certainty, making an in-depth study of notary ethical accountability necessary. This research uses a normative juridical method with three approaches. First, a legislative approach to examine notary obligations, authority, and limits of responsibility under the Notary Law, Notary Code of Ethics, PPAT regulations, and land laws. Second, a case approach analyzing the chronology and role of notaries in the forgery of Nirina Zubir’s land certificates. Third, a conceptual approach using Hans Kelsen’s theory of legal liability and Gustav Radbruch’s theory of legal certainty. The findings show that notaries who facilitate fictitious land transfers commit ethical, administrative, and criminal violations by ignoring prudence, integrity, objectivity, and identity verification duties. According to Kelsen, violating legal norms results in sanctions as normative accountability. Radbruch’s perspective emphasizes that such practices undermine legal certainty. Strengthening ethics, improving supervision, and enforcing strict verification are essential to prevent property fraud.

Abstract

Professional ethics, lawyers, judges, justice, and professional responsibility are crucial elements in the judicial system to ensure fair and credible legal decisions. This study analyzes the ethical responsibilities of lawyers and judges and their impact on substantive justice using a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature review and legaldocument analysis. The literature indicates that lawyers who uphold professional ethics maintain transparency, professionalism, and protect client rights, while judges who adhere to integrity, independence, and objectivity can render fair and trusted decisions. The study also identifies challenges in implementing professional ethics, including conflicts of interest, external pressures, and uneven understanding of ethical principles. Strategies for improvement include ongoingethics education and training, internal and external supervision, technology integration, and collaboration among legal professionals. Consistent internalization of professional ethics proves to be a key factor in achieving substantive justice and strengthening the legitimacy of the judicial system.

Abstract

Management professional ethics play an important role in shaping the integrity and excellence of organizations, especially in the modern era marked by digitalization, globalization, and the complexity of market dynamics. This article aims to analyze the transformation of management professional ethics and its impact on organizational integrity and performance. The research approach used is a systematic literature study, by reviewing various recent studies on ethics, leadership, and organizational governance. The results of the study show that professional ethics is not only a normative moral guideline, but also a strategic framework that directs decision-making, organizational behavior, and management policies. The consistent application of ethics has been proven to improve internal integrity, build a positive work culture, and strengthen stakeholder trust. In addition, ethically-based organizations are able to gain a competitive advantage through reputation, employee loyalty, and harmonious relationships with stakeholders. However, ethical challenges in the modern era are increasingly complex, arising from digitalization, market pressures, and conflicts of interest. This article concludes that the transformation of the ethics of the management profession is the driving force for integrity and the foundation of organizational excellence, as well as the key to the success of the organization in facing modern challenges in a sustainablemanner. Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas implementasi etika profesi akuntansi dan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan (SAK) dalam praktik keuangan perusahaan publik di Indonesia. Melalui studi literatur yang berfokus pada jurnal-jurnal nasional terbitan 2020–2025, penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana penerapan standar dan kode etik akuntansi memengaruhi kualitas laporan keuangan serta tingkat kepercayaan pemangku kepentingan. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa kepatuhan terhadap SAK dan etika profesi berperan penting dalam meningkatkan transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan keandalan informasi finansial. Sebaliknya, pelanggaran etika berdampak negatif pada kredibilitas perusahaan, meningkatkan risiko manipulasi laporan keuangan, dan menurunkan kepercayaan investor. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa integritas profesi akuntansi merupakan unsur penting dalam merealisasikan tata kelola perusahaan yang baik dan keberlanjutan bisnis.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate professional ethics compliance with working time limits in the context of global remote team collaboration and its implications for employee well-being. The shifting work paradigm due to digital transformation has given rise to the phenomenon of cross-time zone working, encouraging shifts in working hours beyond normal limits, potentially violating professional ethics principles such as autonomy, non-maleficence, beneficence, and justice. Using a qualitative approach through case studies and document analysis, this study found systematic violations of working time limits, resulting in increased burnout, decreased well-being, and an inequitable distribution of the workload. Furthermore, weak implementation of organizational policies, a culture of overwork, and the absence of monitoring mechanisms exacerbate these ethical violations. The study's findings emphasize the need for strengthened regulations, the design of more specific remote work policies, and the implementation of the principle of time zone equity to protect employee well-being in a global collaborative environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi etika profesi dalam proses rekrutmen dan seleksi karyawan, terutama dalam konteks perkembangan teknologi digital dan penggunaan kecerdasan buatan (AI). Melalui metode studi literatur, penelitian ini menelaah berbagai jurnal, laporan penelitian, dan dokumen kebijakan terbaru (2018–2024) yang relevan dengan etika rekrutmen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip fair hiring, non-diskriminasi, transparansi, dan objektivitas menjadi landasan penting dalam proses seleksi karyawan. Namun, dalam praktiknya, masih terdapat tantangan etis seperti nepotisme, bias personal, pelanggaran privasi, dan bias algoritmik dalam sistem AI. Penggunaan teknologi seperti ATS dan AI terbukti meningkatkan efisiensi, tetapi juga menimbulkan risiko etis apabila tidak disertai pengawasan manusia dan mekanisme audit yang jelas. Oleh karena itu, strategi implementasi etika yang efektif perlu mencakup penyusunan kode etik rekrutmen, pembentukan komite seleksi independen, audit proses seleksi, pelatihan etika bagi HR, serta penyediaan feedback kepada pelamar. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa rekrutmen yang etis bukan hanya tanggung jawab moral, tetapi juga investasi strategis organisasi untuk membangun kepercayaan publik, reputasi profesional, dan keberlanjutan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Dengan penerapan etika profesi yang konsisten, proses rekrutmen dapat menjadi instrumen yang adil, akuntabel, dan adaptif terhadap dinamika teknologi modern.

Abstract

Dalam menjalankan sebuah bisnis diperlukannya aspek pemasaran, dimana aspek pemasaran ini harus diperhatikan mulai dari etika bisnisnya hingga bagaimana ia dapat memasarkan produk atau jasanya. Adapun pengimplementasian etika pemasaran ini mendorong para pemasar untuk bertindak dengan integritas, memastikan bahwa kegiatan promosi tidak merugikan perusahaan ataupun masyarakat. serta dengan menerapkan etika bisnis itu sendiri, diharapkan perusahaan dapat membangun reputasi yang kuat dan dipercaya, berlandaskan pada nilai-nilai moral yang jelas. Etika bisnis dalam pemasaran juga dapat berfungsi sebagai benteng untuk menghindari perilaku tidak etis, baik dalam konteks bisnis maupun interaksi dengan masyarakat. Dengan demikian, etika bisnis dapat menjadi panduan penting bagi perusahaan dalam menjalankan strategi pemasaran produk atau jasa, yang senantiasa memastikan bahwa setiap tindakan selalu berorientasi pada kebaikan dan keberlanjutan.

Abstract

Bank BRI has its own written and unwritten rules for conducting its business activities. Another important component the company upholds is professional ethics. Professional ethics are outlined in a code of ethics established by professional organizations to ensure each member acts professionally, fairly, and responsibly. Professional ethics not only regulates individual behavior but also maintains integrity, responsibility, and public trust in a profession. Implementing a professional code of ethics can certainly improve the quality of Bank BRI's service to customers. The case of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Tbk demonstrates that weak integrity and accountability can be detrimental to many parties. The impact not only reduces the company's credibility but also undermines stakeholder trust in banking in Indonesia. The case at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Tbk reflects a crisis in professional ethics involving integrity, independence, and competence.
