Abstract

This paper presents the outcomes of a community service initiative designed to strengthen the digital competence of Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers through the implementation of Augmented Reality (AR). Conducted in Sawahlunto City with 15 participating teachers, the program employed a participatory training model consisting of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops. Teachers were introduced to AR concepts, development tools, and strategies for integrating AR into learning activities in accordance with Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP). Quantitative results revealed a 40.3% improvement in teachers’ pretest and posttest scores, indicating enhanced conceptual understanding and technical proficiency. Qualitative observations further showed increased motivation, creativity, and readiness to adopt AR-based media in teaching. The successful development of AR learning products by participants confirms the effectiveness of AR training in advancing technopedagogical competence. These findings underscore the potential of AR as an innovative tool for promoting digital literacy and transforming early childhood learning environments.Keywords: Augmented Reality, ECE teacher competence, digital transformation, digital literacy, learning media.

Abstract

Fenomena kenakalan remaja, khususnya tawuran, di wilayah Sumatera Barat memerlukan intervensi yang komprehensif dan kolaboratif. Perguruan tinggi memiliki peran strategis untuk mengaplikasikan ilmu pengetahuan dalam mengatasi masalah sosial ini. Pendekatan yang inovatif diperlukan untuk menyalurkan energi berlebih ke kanal yang produktif. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menguatkan peran kolaborasi antara Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) sebagai unsur akademik bersaman dengan komunitas otomotif untuk memfasilitasi pencegahan dan penekanan kenakalan remaja berupa tawuran. Kolaborasi ini diarahkan untuk menjadikan minat otomotif sebagai media positif bagi ekspresi diri remaja. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui seminar sehari yang memadukan perspektif psikososial dan teknis. Peserta mendapatkan materi, melalui ceramah, diskusi interaktif, dan sesi mentorship oleh narasumber. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan kuesioner dan observasi partisipatif untuk mengukur tingkat kepuasan dan perubahan pemahaman. Kegiatan ini direspon sangat positif dan berhasil mencapai pergeseran paradigma pada peserta. Terdapat indikasi kuat bahwa minat terhadap otomotif berhasil diubah dari potensi ekspresi agresi menjadi ekspresi prestasi melalui peningkatan kesadaran tentang etika. Model kolaborasi antara UNP dan komunitas otomotif terbukti efektif dan relevan sebagai kerangka kerja yang kuat untuk pencegahan kenakalan remaja berbasis pemberdayaan dan minat.

Abstract

West Sumatra has an active volcano located in Agam and Tanah Datar districts. Mount Merapi erupted at its peak on Sunday, December 23, 2023. It is known that 23 people died. One person died and 52 were injured. As of Wednesday, March 27, 2024, ESDM Magma Report mention, tall column MountMarapi eruption observed reach 1,500 meters in on peak, or around 4,391 m in on surface sea. Based on data in on importance the community, especially young children, know about Mount Merapi disaster mitigation in the areas Areas such as Nagari Bukik Batabuah and Koto Baru require major preventive measures. namely: 1) knowing the signs that appear before a disaster occurs and how to save yourself self for child age early. 2) Children need introduced factors reason disaster so that when a disaster occurs, the impact of the risk can be reduced. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the intercompany transaction reporting system between the head office and branch units of Huller Padi Sonty, a family-owned rice milling business. Using a qualitative research method with a case study approach, data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews with owners and managers, and examination of available financial documents. The findings reveal that intercompany reporting practices are not conducted systematically due to the absence of clear financial separation, lack of structured asset and capital records, and the unavailability of standardized accounting procedures. Transactions such as capital transfers, asset usage, and revenue recording are still performed manually without reciprocal journal entries between the head office and the branch. This condition leads to inaccuracies in preparing consolidated financial reports and creates potential discrepancies in profit calculation. The study recommends implementing a basic accounting system that includes standardized account classification, regular reconciliation, proper intercompany journal entries, and documented SOPs to ensure transparency and accuracy in intercompany reporting. These findings are expected to serve as guidance for agro-industrial in improving financial management and interunit consolidation practices.

Abstract

The implementation of the rights and obligations of husbands and wives in rural Muslim communities does not take place within a normatively sterile framework; rather, it is shaped by a dynamic interaction between Islamic teachings and deeply rooted local cultures. In practice, the norms of Ahwal Syakhshiyyah are not always applied textually as prescribed in classical fiqh literature, but instead undergo processes of interpretation and adjustment in accordance with the social realities of village communities. This study aims to analyze how local cultural acculturation shapes the implementation of spousal rights and obligations, as well as the patterns of Ahwal Syakhshiyyah application in the context of rural Muslim societies. This study employs a qualitative approach using a library research method, analyzing normative sources of Islamic law, statutory regulations, and relevant sociological and anthropological literature. The data are examined through content analysis and contextual interpretation to identify patterns of integration between Islamic legal norms and local cultural values. The findings indicate that local culture plays a significant role in shaping role distribution, decision-making processes, and the resolution of household conflicts. On the one hand, patriarchal patterns that position the husband as the primary authority figure remain evident; on the other hand, more balanced husband–wife relations have emerged, particularly in economic matters and family deliberation. These findings underscore that Ahwal Syakhshiyyah in rural Muslim communities functions as a living law that is adaptive and contextual. This study contributes to the development of Islamic family law by emphasizing the importance of a contextual approach to ensure that the values of justice, compassion, and household harmony can be realized without compromising the substantive principles of Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low scientific abilities of early childhood children due to less interesting and teacher-centered learning activities. To overcome this problem, learning media such as Cosmic Kids, an educational game, can foster children's interest in science. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Cosmic Kids educational game-based learning on the scientific abilities of early childhood children in Sitiung 1 Public Kindergarten. This quantitative research applied a quasi-experimental design. Group B of Sitiung 1 Public Kindergarten consisting of 10 students will be the subjects of the study in the 2025–2026 academic year. The author collected 20 students in grades B2 and B3, with 10 students in grade B2 and 10 students in grade B3 respectively. To collect data, an observation sheet instrument was used to observe children's scientific abilities. To analyze the data, the SPSS version 23 program for Windows used the t-test. The results showed that the Cosmic Kids educational game can improve children's scientific abilities at an early age. The t-test, which shows a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, explains that Cosmic Kids educational game-based learning has a significant effect on children's science abilities at an early age. As a result, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, that means Cosmic Kids educational game-based learning greatly influences the science abilities of early-age students at TK Negeri 1 Sitiung.

Abstract

Kemampuan sains merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini karena membantu membentuk cara berpikir logis, rasa ingin tahu, dan pemahaman terhadap fenomena alam di sekitar mereka. Namun, pembelajaran sains di PAUD masih sering dilakukan secara konvensional melalui penjelasan verbal guru tanpa melibatkan anak secara aktif dalam eksperimen. Kondisi ini menyebabkan anak kurang memahami konsep ilmiah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode eksperimen Balon Ajaib terhadap kemampuan sains anak usia 5–6 tahun di Taman Kanak-kanak Aisyiyah 11 Kota Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak Taman Kanak-Kanak Aisyiyah 11 Kota Padang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling . sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas B2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas B1 sebagai kelas kontrol yang masing-masing kelas berjumlah 10 anak. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan tabel uji hipotesis dibuktikan dengan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,004 < 0,05, yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Nilai rata-rata kemampuan sains anak di kelas eksperimen meningkat dari 9,3 pada pre-test menjadi 22,1 pada post-test, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol hanya meningkat dari 8,5 menjadi 18,9. Dengan demikian ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode eksperimen Balon Ajaib efektif meningkatkan kemampuan sains anak usia dini melalui kegiatan belajar yang aktif, menyenangkan, dan bermakna. Metode ini dapat dijadikan alternatif inovatif bagi guru PAUD dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran sains berbasis pengalaman langsung.
