Abstract

This study explores the construction and historicity of cultural identity in Kampung Kasur Pasir in an effort to preserve the traditional values of the Legung Timur Village community. Using a qualitative approach through observation methods, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, this study finds that social interactions, community values, and historical elements significantly contribute to the formation of a dynamic cultural identity. The active participation of the younger generation in cultural activities, such as rituals and traditional celebrations, is seen as key to preserving traditions amid the challenges of modernization and globalization. The research results show that the people of Kampung Kasur Pasir not only maintain traditional rituals but also adapt new elements relevant to contemporary developments. Additionally, awareness of the importance of cultural preservation as an instrument of social solidarity is highly relevant. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more effective cultural preservation policies and encourage local initiatives in celebrating and maintaining a rich cultural heritage.

Abstract

The purpose of this article was to analyze the planning, implementation, and supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model in PAI learning at Bakalan Elementary School, Pasuruan City. This research used descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. In data analysis, the researcher used a qualitative data analysis approach. Validation of data using triangulation, implication, and peer correction. The substantive findings of the Implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Learning Models in PAI Learning at Bakalan Elementary School Pasuruan are that: 1) Learning planning carried out by compiling learning tools will be more effective if it starts through the plan to lesson and lesson to plan activities. Lessons to plan activities are used as a reflection of the PAI learning process that has been implemented in class IV. 2) Implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Learning Model in PAI Learning at Bakalan State Elementary School Pasuruan includes the Requirements for the Implementation of the Learning Process (which explains learning groups, the minimum workload of PAI teachers, textbooks, classroom management), Implementation of Learning (which explaining the Final Activity), Assessment (explaining attitude assessment, skill assessment, knowledge assessment).

Abstract

Pembangunan disiplin belajar dan perilaku sosial anak di sekolah dasar memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi akademik dan kemampuan bersosialisasi. Penelitian kualitatif berbasis literatur ini mengungkap bahwa disiplin belajar dapat dibentuk melalui rutinitas terstruktur (jadwal harian), sistem hadiah dan konsekuensi konsisten (pujian/sanksi edukatif), serta keteladanan guru dalam sikap dan manajemen waktu. Sementara itu, perilaku sosial siswa berkembang optimal melalui kegiatan kelompok (diskusi, proyek kolaboratif) dan refleksi nilai empati seperti berbagi cerita inspiratif. Kendala utama meliputi ketidakselarasan aturan sekolah dengan pola asuh di rumah (misal: perbedaan aturan penggunaan gadget) dan kurangnya pelatihan guru dalam manajemen konflik serta motivasi intrinsik siswa. Solusinya memerlukan integrasi pendekatan struktural (aturan jelas) dan kultural (penguatan nilai), serta kolaborasi antara guru, orang tua, dan psikolog sekolah. Implikasi praktis mencakup pelatihan guru tentang teknik motivasi berbasis proses belajar dan resolusi konflik, serta edukasi orang tua untuk menyelaraskan nilai pengasuhan dengan sekolah. Bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI), temuan ini relevan karena strategi tersebut sejalan dengan tujuan pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk akhlak mulia (disiplin, empati, kerja sama) melalui keseimbangan syariat dan internalisasi moral, serta menegaskan peran guru sebagai teladan yang mengintegrasikan ilmu dan adab. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis sumber tertulis terpercaya seperti buku, jurnal, dan dokumen akademik.

Abstract

The term harmony is synonymous with the term tolerance. Harmony is a term filled with good and peaceful meaning content. The point is to live together in society with unity of heart and agree not to create disputes and quarrels. Living in harmony is everyone's dream. Differences on the one hand can be a strength if managed well and professionally. However, if not, differences in worldviews between countries, will become a factor of national disintegration and prolonged conflict. This article aims to find out how strategies to fight religious intolerance in Indonesia. The method used in this research is library research, which traces books and findings from interfaith harmony studies. The results of this study explain that there are 6 strategies that can be done in building inter-religious harmony, namely internalizing tolerance, maintaining kinship (ukhuwah), respecting and appreciating each other, trusting each other and avoiding prejudice, clarifying and confirming information obtained and acting fairly.

Abstract

This study aims to identify strategies to improve the quality of Islamic education in facing the challenges of modern times and technological developments. The method adopted is a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results show that the main challenges include the rapid development of information technology that can have a negative impact on student morals, as well as globalization that brings cultural values that are not always in accordance with Islamic principles. Strategies to improve the quality of Islamic education include modernizing education that focuses on Islamic principles and the times, utilizing technology to improve access to knowledge, and integrating traditional values with technology. Factors that influence the effectiveness of these strategies include the competence of educators, an adaptive curriculum, and sufficient infrastructure. This study concludes that efforts are needed to adapt the learning system to technological developments, integrate Islamic values  in a digital environment, and improve the competence of educators so that Islamic education remains relevant in the modern era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the organization's efforts in carrying out alignment actions to potential policies that occur. Against the background of the loss of paradigm (basic beliefs) to the management of the organization from the concept of strategy that has been planned to be executed. The main problem is insensitivity/lack of organisational data information in assessing risks and obstacles that occur in organisational management that can potentially arise policies. This research is descriptive qualitative research used to determine organizational strategies in aligning with the emergence of potential policies that occur. The conclusion obtained is that the potential for policy is a form of symptom of the unpreparedness of organizational managers in implementing basic elements such as input elements consisting of planning activities to be carried out in achieving the desired final results, process elements used to carry out agreed activity planning towards results according to the desired target and output elements are an achieved result. The misalignment of the three basic elements of organizational management means that organizational management will carry out policies as additional elements that are used as elements to bridge the conditions that occur. The higher potential of policies that occur is an indicator of the inability to manage the organization properly and the smaller the potential for policies that occur is an indicator of readiness to manage the organization because it has an impact on the rise or fall of the level of trust in organizational management. Keywords: work planning, behavior and organizational performance. Abstract

This study aims to assess the success rate of learning Ghoroibul Qur'an through the Microsoft Teams e-learning platform for students of the Islamic Education Study Program at the Open University. The research method applied is mixed methods that integrates quantitative and qualitative approaches. Quantitative data were collected through questionnaires filled out by students, while qualitative data were collected from in-depth interviews and observations, in-depth interviews with students and lecturers. The results showed that e-learning in Ghoroibul Qur'an course can improve students' understanding Of Imalah, Isymam, Sakta, Tashil And correct pronunciation. Although there are some challenges, such as the lack of direct interaction between students and teachers, students who actively use digital learning technology tend to have better results, on the other hand, when learning to listen to the reading of students who have weak signals, the teacher is not fully able to correct due to the lack of clarity of the reading. In addition, this study identified the importance of applying blended learning methods to improve the effectiveness of learning Ghoroibul Qur'an. The findings are expected to contribute to designing more effective learning strategies in the digital era, especially in Islamic Religious Education at the University of Terbuka (UT) Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the epistemological foundations of Qur'anic interpretation (tafsir) within the curriculum of traditional Islamic boarding schools (Pesantren) in the Nusantara, with a focus on integrating classical and contemporary interpretative methodologies into curriculum management. Employing a qualitative approach through library research, historical tracing, and content analysis of canonical tafsir texts (such as Tafsir Jalalayn, Ibn Kathir, and Baidhawi) alongside institutional documents, the research traces the evolution of tafsir education across generations. The study covers Pesantren of the salaf (clasic) (Langitan, Lirboyo, Blokagung), khalaf (modern) (Gontor, Al-Azhar Medan, Al-Amanah Sidoarjo), and hybrid (Tebuireng, Al-Munawwir Krapyak, Darunnajah Jakarta) typologies. Findings indicate that while the classical naqli-based approach remains dominant, there has been a gradual integration of ʿaqli-contextual methods, characterized by thematic and rational interpretations, aimed at addressing contemporary issues such as pluralism, public ethics, and democracy. This study proposes a layered curriculum model grounded in epistemological progression, organizing tafsir learning from traditional texts at the foundational level to reformist and thematic interpretations at the advanced level. Such a model bridges the preservation of Islamic scholarly heritage with contemporary relevance (ṣāliḥ li kulli zamān wa makān), reinforcing the role of Pesantren as centers of Islamic learning that produce graduates with strong textual competence and ethical sensitivity toward social realities.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mereinterpretasi nilai-nilai aswaja sebagai basis penguatan pluralisme di masyarakat multicultural. Dalam konteks masyarakat Indonesia yang multikultural, nilai-nilai Aswaja (Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah) sering dipersepsi sebagai eksklusif dan hanya relevan dalam lingkup internal organisasi keagamaan tertentu. Sementara itu, pluralisme masih dihadapkan pada resistensi sosial yang menganggapnya bertentangan dengan doktrin keagamaan. Penelitian sebelumnya lebih menekankan pada moderasi beragama, namun belum banyak yang mengkaji reinterpretasi Aswaja sebagai kerangka inklusif untuk memperkuat pluralisme sosial. Riset ini ingin membuktikan bahwa nilai-nilai tradisi Islam Nusantara dapat menjadi basis integratif bagi keberagaman budaya dan agama di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan hermeneutika kritis terhadap teks-teks Aswaja klasik, ditambah studi lapangan pada komunitas NU di Jawa dan Madura. Data diperoleh melalui analisis dokumen, wawancara mendalam, dan observasi partisipatif, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model triangulasi sumber dan interpretasi tematik untuk menemukan relevansi nilai-nilai Aswaja dengan konteks pluralisme kontemporer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Aswaja bersifat kontekstual dan fleksibel, sehingga dapat ditafsirkan ulang sebagai landasan etis untuk membangun kohesi sosial di masyarakat multikultural. Reinterpretasi nilai tasamuh menghasilkan paradigma toleransi aktif, sementara tawassuth meneguhkan sikap moderat yang menjembatani perbedaan identitas keagamaan. Dengan demikian, Aswaja tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai doktrin internal NU, tetapi juga sebagai instrumen penguatan pluralisme dan harmoni sosial.
