Abstract

Classroom management is a crucial aspect in ensuring the effectiveness of learning, especially in the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) which often faces the challenge of low student learning concentration. This article aims to examine the management of Choice Theory-based classrooms developed by William Glasser as a strategy to increase students' learning concentration in PAI lessons. The research method used is a literature study by analyzing secondary sources such as books, journals, and other academic documents. The results of the study show that classroom management according to Choice Theory emphasizes the fulfillment of five basic needs of students: survival, love and belonging, power, freedom, and fun. Fulfilling these needs creates a learning environment that is conducive, motivating, and fosters students' self-awareness. In addition, the WDEP (Want, Doing, Evaluation, Planning) approach in Choice Theory plays an important role in helping students develop self-awareness and responsibility for their learning process. By integrating these principles in classroom management, PAI teachers can transform into adaptive and empathetic facilitators in managing the diversity of character and needs of students.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of classical Islamic inclusive values with contemporary digital education to address current disparities in access and participation. The research aims to uncover how historical Islamic educational practices particularly those rooted in the use of open learning environments like mosques and halaqah can inform inclusive models in modern digital contexts. Using a historical-thematic qualitative approach, this study analyzes classical Islamic texts alongside modern digital platforms such as MOOCs and Universitas Terbuka. The results reveal significant gaps in implementing inclusive principles within current Islamic digital education, particularly in curriculum design, teacher preparation, and institutional coordination. The study proposes an integrative framework that combines universal design, inclusive pedagogy, and spiritual-social evaluation metrics. These findings highlight the potential of revitalized Islamic educational traditions to transform digital learning into a platform for global equity, empowerment, and justice.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between Islamic education and students’ religious moderation attitudes at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Muhajirin Purwakarta using a quantitative approach with simple regression analysis. Religious moderation is a crucial issue in the context of Islamic education as it shapes students to become tolerant, inclusive, and balanced individuals in practicing their faith. The data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The research instrument was tested for validity and reliability to ensure data accuracy. The findings reveal that Islamic education has a positive and significant effect on students’ attitudes of religious moderation, although the contribution level remains limited. These results highlight the importance of strengthening the curriculum and teaching strategies that instill Islamic values of rahmatan lil ‘alamin, while encouraging students to develop moderate attitudes in dealing with diversity. This research is expected to provide theoretical contributions to Islamic education studies and practical implications for policy development in madrasah learning.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance the capacity of early childhood education (ECE) teachers and parents in delivering appropriate sex education and toilet training through the use of flannel puppet media. The partners’ primary challenges were limited understanding and the lack of suitable instructional media for young children. The program was conducted over three days at PAUD Puspa Melati, Kaliwates, Jember, involving 20 participants from ten ECE institutions. The implementation methods included participatory training and demonstrations on the creation and utilization of the media. The results indicated an improvement in participants’ understanding and skills in teaching body awareness and personal hygiene concepts in an engaging manner. The program produced 20 sets of educational flannel puppets ready for classroom use. Overall, the initiative proved effective in strengthening collaboration between teachers and parents in fostering early childhood character development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh inflasi, pembiayaan mudharabah, dan dana pihak ketiga (DPK) terhadap pertumbuhan Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). Bank Syariah Indonesia yang  terbentuk pada 1 Februari 2021 sebagai hasil penggabungan tiga bank syariah BUMN mengalami pertumbuhan aset yang signifikan, dari Rp. 24.230.247 juta pada tahun 2015 menjadi Rp. 408.613.432 juta pada tahun 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data sekunder dari Bank Indonesia, Bank Syariah Indonesia, dan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan, serta menerapkan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan berbagai uji validitas model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan, variabel inflasi, pembiayaan mudharabah, dan DPK berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan BSI dengan nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 87,5%. Namun, secara parsial, Dengan demikian, hanya inflasi dan DPK yang secara parsial terbukti menjadi faktor utama yang memengaruhi pertumbuhan Bank Syariah Indonesia, sementara pembiayaan mudharabah tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa DPK merupakan faktor utama yang mendorong pertumbuhan bank syariah Indonesia (BSI), sebagai sumber modal utama untuk ekspansi pembiayaan. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi manajemen BSI untuk lebih mengoptimalkan pengelolaan DPK melalui peningkatan kepercayaan nasabah, literasi keuangan, dan efisiensi operasional. Meskipun pembiayaan mudharabah belum menunjukkan dampak signifikan, evaluasi terhadap pelaksanaan dan manajemen risikonya tetap penting untuk memaksimalkan kontribusinya di masa depan.

Abstract

Pesantren are the oldest Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia and play a strategic role in shaping the religious character of students (santri). Amid the increasing phenomenon of religious radicalism and extremism, pesantren are often positioned ambivalently: on the one hand, they are accused of being fertile grounds for radicalism; on the other hand, they function as strongholds of Islamic moderation. This article aims to analyze the role of pesantren education as a strategy for preventing religious radicalism and extremism through a literature review. The study employs a library research method by examining books, reputable national and international journal articles, and policy documents relevant to pesantren, Islamic education, and deradicalization. The findings indicate that pesantren education contributes significantly to preventing radicalism through the internalization of religious moderation values, the strengthening of kiai’s scholarly authority, the preservation of classical Islamic scholarly traditions (turath), and pesantren culture that emphasizes the principles of tawassuth (moderation), tasamuh (tolerance), tawazun (balance), and i‘tidal (justice). Pesantren also play a role in building the ideological resilience of santri so that they are not easily exposed to extremist religious ideologies. This article recommends strengthening pesantren curricula based on religious moderation and enhancing students’ digital literacy as preventive measures against radicalism in the digital era

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalisasi UMKM pedesaan melalui pendampingan legalitas usaha dan sertifikasi halal kepada 22 pelaku usaha di Desa Selomarto, Kecamatan Giriwoyo, Kabupaten Wonogiri, Jawa Tengah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan Metode Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD). Pengabdian dimulai dengan pemetaan aset, kemudian melakukan sosialisasi dan pelatihan legalitas usaha dan sertifikasi halal, dan diakhiri dengan pendampingan legalitas usaha dan sertifikasi halal. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Selomarto, Giriwoyo, Wonogiri, para pelaku UMKM memiliki kesadaran dan pengetahuan tentang mengolah produk berdasarkan standar halal. Selain itu, keberhasilan pengabdian ini juga dibuktikan dengan terbitnya Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB) dan sertifikasi halal bagi 22 UMKM pedesaan. Upaya ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi terhadap realisasi kebijakan pemerintah dan berdampak positif terhadap pelaku UMKM pedesaan.

Abstract

Digitalization has rapidly expanded access to Qur'anic tahsin learning, yet existing scholarship often prioritizes technological adoption while giving limited attention to how religious authority, social interaction, and sacred meaning are negotiated in online environments. This study examines online tahsin at Universitas Terbuka, Indonesia, as a socio-pedagogical space where tradition, pedagogical authority, and digital mediation intersect within contemporary distance education. Using an explanatory sequential mixed-method design, the research began with a survey of 56 students from several Indonesian provinces in 2025, employing a five-point Likert scale to explore learning experiences, digital readiness, technical challenges, and perceptions of tutor feedback. This quantitative phase was followed by semi-structured interviews to deepen interpretation of the statistical findings. The results show that tutor authority is reconstructed in virtual settings through sustained corrective interaction, precise recitation guidance, and pedagogical practices that emphasize adab and ethical responsibility. These processes enhance recitation accuracy, affective engagement, and learner confidence, including dimensions of spiritual experience, despite structural constraints that continue to shape the quality of interaction.

Abstract

Perusahaan memiliki orientasi untuk mendapatkan keuntungan dalam menjalankan kegiatan usaha. Terdapat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi profitabilitas perusahaan, baik secara internal dan eksternal. Manajemen perusahaan, harus mengontrol rasio keuangan mereka dan mempertimbangkan kondisi makroekonomi serta lingkungan karena faktor-faktor tersebut dapat mempengaruhi profitabilitas perusahaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh leverage, ukuran perusahaan dan inflasi terhadap profitabilitas Bank Umum Syariah tahun 2012-2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Objek penelitian ini adalah Perusahaan sektor Perbankan yaitu Bank Umum Syariah terdaftar di Otoritas Jasa Keuangan pada periode 2012 sampai 2019. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel, yaitu penggabungan data cross section dan data time series menggunakan data 10 Bank Umum Syariah Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa leverage yang menggunakan indikator DER berpengaruh positif signifikan secara parsial terhadap profitabilitas pada Bank Umum Syariah, yang menggunakan indikator ROA. Selanjutnya ukuran perusahaan yang menggunakan indikator Ln Aset dan Inflasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap profitabilitas pada Bank Umum Syariah, namun berpengaruh secara simultan. Variabel leverage, ukuran perusahaan, dan inflasi berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan atau bersama-sama terhadap profitabilitas pada Bank Umum Syariah.
