Abstract

The Ayat of the Quran contains a wealth of meanings and deep nuances of language. In this study, we conducted a stylistic analysis of the words صمّ، بكم، عمي in Quranic Ayats to explore deeper nuances of language and meaning. This method of analysis involves tracing the use of these keywords in various ayat contexts and research related to the grammar and semantics of the Quran. The results showed that the words are often used in contexts emphasising the importance of listening, observing, and understanding the divine message. They also give a new dimension to understanding blindness and deafness in a spiritual context. This research provides further insight into the use of language in the Quran, illustrating how certain words evoke feelings, reflection, and deep appreciation of religious teachings. By stylistically analysing, this research contributes to a further understanding the use of Arabic in religious literature and bridges the gap between classical texts and contemporary understanding

Abstract

This study explores the implementation and evaluation of the Flipped Classroom Model in Arabic language learning, specifically focusing on Maharatul kalam (speaking skills) at MAN 2 Wonosobo post-COVID-19 pandemic. The Flipped Classroom Model, a 21st-century learning approach, flips in-class and out-of-class activities, allowing students to engage with learning materials independently before face-to-face sessions. Through qualitative evaluative methods, including case study design, data were collected from stakeholders including policymakers, teachers, and students. Analysis involved SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Results indicate significant improvements in students' analytical skills, highlighting the model's effectiveness. However, challenges such as technological dependency and uneven student participation were noted. Despite these, opportunities for personalized learning and access to global educational resources were recognized. Overall, the study underscores the relevance and potential of the Flipped Classroom Model in enhancing Arabic language learning post-pandemic, while emphasizing the need for ongoing monitoring and adaptation

Abstract

Arabic learning especially Maharah Kitabah at Takhassus Al-Qur'an Junior High School uses a conventional learning model. However, when the learning process takes place there are still many students who are passive, bored, and there are still many students who consider our Maharah Kitabah learning to be a difficult lesson. Therefore, it is necessary to apply a varied and interesting learning model. With the hope that the use of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model can be the solution. This research is a type of experimental research using the Nonequivalent control group design carried out at Takhassus Al-Qur'an Junior High School Caliber Wonosobo. The subject of this study was class VIII students of 56 students who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental and control groups. Data collection methods are carried out by interviewing, observation, documentation, and test methods. In the method using the test, the experimental and control groups are given written tests in the form of pretest at the beginning and postest at the end. Then the results are analyzed using the N-gain test and the t-test test to find out the comparison and difference in the ability of Maharah Kitabah between the two groups. The results of this study show that: 1) there are steps taken in the learning of Maharah Kitabah using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model at SMP Takhassus Al-Qur'an Caliber; 2) there is an increase in the ability of our Maharah kitabah between experimental and control groups of 0.61 which belongs to the medium category.; 3) there were differences in experimental and control groups with thitung 8,299 > ttabel 2,003. Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted

Abstract

This study examines the concepts of Interaction and Mapping Interaction Research in Second Language Learning in the Classroom: Content Analysis Based on Rod Ellis's "Language Teaching Research and Language Pedagogy." The study applies a qualitative approach with a literature review design, utilizing data collection techniques such as documentation and literature review, followed by content analysis. This study indicates that Rod Ellis discusses the abilities involved in interaction, employing a sociocultural theory perspective to examine the development of second language learning. This theory emphasizes microgenetic and quasi-experimental studies on language learning through social interaction and internal learner growth. Rod Ellis also studies how classroom input and interaction improve second language learning using interactionist-cognitive theory, which emphasizes the function of interaction in delivering input that learners inwardly analyze. This perspective draws upon research employing descriptive/exploratory approaches.

Abstract

This article aims to describe colloquial euphemisms in the WhatsApp Group “Segawon Reborn” among lecturers within the context of the Islamic education spectrum. This descriptive-qualitative research employed reading-recording techniques and interviews with the subjects of lecturers at Universitas Sains Al-Qur’an Wonosobo, which were analyzed using the Milles and Huberman model. It showed that slang euphemisms are used in daily conversations with the choice of elegant language to avoid inappropriate expressions. Lecturers still preserve good communication in the spectrum of Islamic education for politeness and comfort, avoiding disaster, disguising meaning, reducing shame, and carrying out religious orders. Using slang euphemisms could reduce the impact of conflict due to misunderstanding. The study recommends that lecturers refrain from using slang euphemisms without losing communication ethics.

Abstract

Dunia pendidikan tidak jarang melahirkan insan berkualitas dan berprestasi, baik dengan dukungan kurikulum suatu lembaga maupun kemampuan individu, dalam mencapai hal itu tentu saja terdapat strategi yang mendorongnya, model oxford merupakan kerangka kerja yang komprehensif dalam melihat hal tersebut, oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui varian strategi belajar bahasa arab pada mahasiswa berprestasi akademik prodi PBA UINSI samarinda dalam perspektif model oxford. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian survei, dengan instrumen pengumpulan data kuisioner dan dokumentasi. Populasi penelitian seluruh mahasiswa prodi PBA UINSI Samarinda angkatan 2016-2018 yang kemudian dilakukan purposive sampling dan didapati 19 responden mahasiswa berprestasi akademik, lalu dilakukan analisis deskriptive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa berprestasi di prodi PBA UINSI Samarinda aktif menggunakan seluruh strategi dalam Model Oxford. Strategi kognitif dan kompensasi menjadi yang paling dominan dengan tingkat penggunaan 100%. Strategi metakognitif, afektif, dan sosial digunakan dengan tingkat penggunaan menengah (98,23%), sementara strategi memori efektif dengan tingkat penggunaan sekitar 96,05%. Variasi dalam penggunaan strategi mencerminkan preferensi belajar dan kompleksitas teknik. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pemahaman dan penerapan strategi belajar yang efektif dalam pendidikan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat guru dalam menerapkan penilaian autentik, serta mengetahui hasil penilaian autentik dalam pembelajaran bahasa arab. Aktivitas dalam analisis data yaitu data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification. Penilaian autentik dalam pembelajaran bahasa arab kelas IV MI Ma’arif Kalibeber Wonosobo sudah cukup efektif. Pelaksanaan penilaian autentik dalam pembelajaran bahasa arab kelas IV di MI Ma’arif Kalibeber Wonosobo memiliki beberapa faktor yang mendukung diantaranya kegiatan belajar siswa yang menyenangkan, alat peraga yang terpenuhi, kesiapan siswa dan guru serta waktu yang pas. Sedangkan faktor yang menghambat pelaksanaan penilaian autentik diantaranya peserta didik yang kurang disiplin dalam mengikuti pelajaran, peserta didik yang kurang kemampuannya dalam hal pemahaman, belum bisa membaca bahasa arab dan memahami arti.

Abstract

This research aims to explore public perceptions of education at the Permata Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ), Tapen Village. With a qualitative approach, this research involves direct observation, interviews, and documentation to understand social phenomena from the participant's perspective. Tapen Village was chosen as the research location because of its relevance to the topic of community participation in developing children's education in non-formal education institutions.The results of the analysis show that the people of Tapen Village have a very positive perception of education at TPQ Permata, especially in academic, economic and social aspects. Active support from various levels of society, participation in economic and social activities, and community solidarity are key points in the success of TPQ Permata. However, several inhibiting factors, such as busy parents and lack of awareness of the importance of early education, need to be taken into consideration in efforts to improve the quality of education at TPQ Permata.This research provides in-depth insight into the dynamics of community participation in supporting non-formal education institutions, especially TPQ. The implications of these findings can be used as a basis for developing further strategies to strengthen the role of TPQ Permata in shaping the spiritual character and morals of the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to identify items of character values ​​and methods of their internalization in learning ‘ilm al-aṣwāt in the Arabic Education Department of UNSIQ Wonosobo. It is a qualitative-descriptive study where data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation from the lecturer of ‘ilm al-aṣwāt, lecturer of character education, head of sub-section of academic and student affairs, and some students from semesters 3 and 5 who have taken the course. Participants of this research include the first semester students. Findings of this study show that there are some character values ​​ internalized in students when learning ‘ilm al-aṣwāt. The values ​​are classified into two categories. The first is those that are ​​implied in the learning method such as self-confidence, responsibility, reading interest, achievement-motivated quality, and curiosity. The second is those ​​that are implied in the teaching material of ‘ilm al-aṣwāt such as honesty, self-discipline, communicative attitude, and religiosity. Meanwhile, the internalization itself is done by role-modeling, prioritizing, and reflection.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara multikultural dimana masyarakat di dalamnya memiliki keragaman dengan skala besar. Negara yang memiliki keragaman tak jarang ditemukan konflik antar penganut agama, budaya, dan latar belakang perbedaan mereka. Namun, berbeda halnya dengan masyarakat di sekitar Puja Mandala, Bali. Hidup berdampingan dengan toleransi yang tinggi sangat bisa menggambarkan jalannya kehidupan disana. Puja Mandala adalah suatu lokasi di Nusa Dua, Bali. Di lokasi ini terdapat lima tempat ibadah yang saling berdampingan. Hingga saat ini tak ada catatan konflik antaragama yang terjadi di lokasi tersebut, yang ada adalah antar pemeluk agama saling membantu di setiap acara yang diselenggarakan dan menghargai kegiatan ibadah agama lain. Kehidupan di Puja Mandala yang menjunjung tinggi nilai toleransi banyak mengundang wisatawan untuk berkunjung dan belajar hidup berdampingan. Puja Mandala kami nilai sangat mencerminkan makna masyarakat madani yang memiliki kerukunan antarumat beragama sebenarnya. Kerukunan berarti hidup bersama dalam masyarakat dengan kesatuan hati dan bersepakat untuk tidak menciptakan perselisihan dan pertengkaran. Implementasi masyarakat madani dan kerukunan antarumat beragama telah diimplementasikan oleh masyarakat sekitar Puja Mandala sehingga mendasari kita dalam melakukan penelitian.
