Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the institution of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in Islamic religious universities (PTKI), identify the actual challenges faced, and explore learning strategies that are relevant to the needs of students. Normatively, PAI in PTKI has a strategic position in strengthening the religious character of students and the development of integration of Science and religion. However, there is a gap between the ideality of institutional vision and implementation at the learning level, especially in the face of globalization, academic secularism, and the tendency of religious exclusivism. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of library studies (library research), utilizing secondary data in the form of Pai institutional documents at PTKI, previous research, and the latest academic literature. Data mining techniques are carried out through the study of documents, while data analysis uses in-depth analytical descriptive methods. The results showed that Pai institutions in PTKI faced epistemological stagnation and methodological rigidity. Effective learning strategies include contextual, integrative, dialogical, and moderate approaches that emphasize Islamic literacy towards contemporary social reality. This finding confirms the importance of institutional revitalization and pedagogical innovation simultaneously so that PAI learning can be an instrument for the formation of religious, inclusive, and national character academic personnel.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat menuntut tenaga pendidik untuk mampu beradaptasi dengan sistem pembelajaran berbasis daring yang efektif dan efisien. Salah satu upaya strategis dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru di era digital adalah melalui optimalisasi penggunaan Learning Management System (LMS) sebagai media pengelolaan pembelajaran daring yang terarah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengelola, merancang, serta memanfaatkan fitur-fitur LMS guna menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, efisien, dan terukur. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi tahap sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, pendampingan intensif, serta evaluasi hasil penerapan LMS di lingkungan sekolah mitra. Peserta kegiatan adalah guru dari berbagai jenjang pendidikan yang memiliki keterbatasan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran daring. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kompetensi digital guru, yang ditandai dengan kemampuan peserta dalam mengelola kelas virtual, menyusun materi ajar digital, melakukan penilaian daring, serta memanfaatkan data analitik pembelajaran untuk evaluasi proses belajar. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan efisiensi manajemen waktu dan kualitas interaksi guru-siswa selama proses pembelajaran daring berlangsung. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan profesionalisme guru dalam era transformasi digital pendidikan dan menjadi model pengembangan kapasitas berkelanjutan di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Abstract The story of Adam and Eve's creation, as told in the narrative of the Prophet, offers many valuable lessons; however, this aspect has not been widely explored. This research aims to reveal the educational insights of Islamic teachings regarding the authenticity of the cosmological phases of the physical creation of Adam and Eve, as described in the story of the Prophet. The article is based on findings from a library research approach and was analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study conclude that the lesson from the physical creation of Prophet Adam is that he was appointed as the caliph on earth, a leader and ruler for humankind. This creation reflects the uniqueness and nobility of human beings, serving as a model for all future generations. Furthermore, Adam’s creation from clay contains lessons about human origins and the diversity of human physical forms worldwide. Meanwhile, the lesson from the creation of Eve from Adam’s rib emphasizes the formation of a strong bond of affection between them, creating a pair that complements one another and lives together in tranquility. This suggests that men and women were created as a unified entity, mutually dependent and supportive of one another. Overall, this study makes a significant contribution to Islamic education, particularly in its understanding of the cosmological aspects of the creation of Adam and Eve. Keywords: Islamic education, cosmological, physical creation, Prophet Adam and Eve.AbstrakKisah penciptaan Nabi Adam dan Hawa menawarkan banyak pelajaran berharga; namun, aspek ini belum banyak dieksplorasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap wawasan pendidikan dari ajaran Islam mengenai otentisitas fase-fase kosmologis penciptaan fisik Nabi Adam dan Hawa. Artikel ini didasarkan pada temuan dari pendekatan penelitian pustaka dan dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pelajaran dari penciptaan fisik Nabi Adam adalah bahwa ia diangkat sebagai khalifah di bumi, seorang pemimpin dan penguasa bagi umat manusia. Penciptaan ini mencerminkan keunikan dan kemuliaan manusia, yang menjadi teladan bagi semua generasi mendatang. Selain itu, penciptaan Adam dari tanah mengandung pelajaran tentang asal-usul manusia dan keragaman bentuk fisik manusia di seluruh dunia. Sementara itu, pelajaran dari penciptaan Hawa dari tulang rusuk Adam menekankan pembentukan ikatan kasih sayang yang kuat di antara keduanya, menciptakan pasangan yang saling melengkapi dan hidup bersama dalam ketenangan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa laki-laki dan perempuan diciptakan sebagai satu kesatuan yang saling bergantung dan mendukung satu sama lain. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pendidikan Islam, khususnya dalam memahami aspek kosmologis penciptaan Adam dan Hawa. Kata kunci: pendidikan Islam, kosmologis, penciptaan fisik, Nabi Adam dan Hawa.

Abstract

This study examines the adaptation of Muhammadiyah's da'wah strategies to modern technological advancements, with a focus on engaging Generation Z, who are known for their tech-savviness. The research aims to identify effective methods for delivering religious messages to this demographic through digital platforms. Utilizing a library research method, analytical data were gathered from a variety of sources, including books, academic journals, research papers, and other relevant literature. The study found that Muhammadiyah's digital da'wah model is sufficiently flexible to integrate contemporary technological tools, ensuring continuous and effective religious communication. Specific findings highlight the importance of using social media, video content, and interactive online platforms to engage Generation Z. Additionally, the research underscores the need for da'i (preachers) to be well-versed in digital communication, possess deep knowledge of religious content, and create engaging, relevant material.This adaptive approach not only addresses technological advancements but ensures that the da'wah message is impactful and resonates with Generation Z. The practical implications of this study suggest that digital da'wah can significantly enhance the reach and effectiveness of religious communication in the modern age. In conclusion, Muhammadiyah's use of digital da'wah demonstrates its capacity to evolve and remain relevant, particularly in communicating with a tech-oriented audience like Generation Z.

Abstract

Dalam proses pendidikan, guru dan siswa merupakan dua elemen yang tak terpisahkan. Guru pendidikan agama Islam juga memiliki tugas untuk membimbing siswa agar dapat menerapkan pengetahuan tentang ajaran Islam dalam kehidupan mereka sendiri, keluarga, dan komunitas. Tantangan sentral yang dihadapi oleh institusi pendidikan saat ini adalah penurunan nilai moral. Dalam hal ini Upaya guru sangat diperlukan sebagai pengasah kemampuan siswa dalam penanaman sikap termasuk sikap tanggung jawab dan kepedulian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini sendiri didasari untuk mengetahui bagaimana kondisi karakter tanggung jawab siswa, usaha guru pendidikan agama islam dalam membentuk karakter tanggung jawab siswa, serta untuk memahami hal-hal yang menghambat dan mendukung dalam menanamkan karakter tanggung jawab siswa di MA Tarbiyatul Wathon Gresik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis pendekatan deskriptif. Objek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI di Madrasah Aliyah Tarbiyatul Wathon Gresik. Terkait dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan obeservasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, serta rancangan analisis data yang mencakup tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta verifikasi data. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakter tanggung jawab siswa di MA Tarbiyatul Wathon masih jauh dari standar tertinggi yang ditetapkan oleh lembaga itu sendiri. berbagai upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru pendidikan agama islam seperti proses memahami siswa, penggunaan berbagai teknik startegi, menumbuhkan rasa tanggung jawab selama pembelajaran, mengelompokkan siswa, memberikan tugas, dan melibatkan siswa dalam kegiatan yang berorientasi pada karakter bertujuan untuk membantu siswa di MA Tarbiyatul Wathon mengembangkan karakter tanggung jawab. Penelitian ini menemukan sejumlah faktor yang mendukung sekaligus menghambat pengembangan karakter tanggung jawab siswa seperti keluarga dan lingkungan

Abstract

This research aims to examine the meaning of higher education as the path of human nature from the wasathiyah perspective, focusing on its relevance in the context of socio-economic changes in coastal communities. The background of this research is based on the strong patriarchal views that limit the role of women in Higher education, a narrow understanding of destiny, and low participation in Higher education among coastal communities. This research uses a qualitative approach based on a literature study to analyze the concept of higher education as the path of fitrah from an Islamic perspective and its relevance to contemporary issues. The analysis was conducted on primary literature (the Qur'an and hadith) as well as secondary literature in the form of books, articles, research reports, and data from relevant institutions such as BPS, Kemendikbud, and UNESCO. The results show that Higher education is seen as a form of actualization of human nature, which is endowed with the potential of reason, heart, and instinct to develop. The concept of hair and destiny in Islam encourages maximum efforts in studying, including for women and marginalized communities. The findings confirm that Higher education is a strategic necessity in the face of socio-economic changes in coastal communities, which are now affected by the ecological crisis, limited natural resources, and the demands of globalization. This research contributes to enriching the understanding of the importance of Higher education as part of the mission of human creation in Islam. Research recommendations include the need to strengthen educational literacy programs in coastal communities, synergies between pesantren, universities, and local governments, and the development of an inclusive fitrah-based curriculum.

Abstract

The internalization of the values of tasamuh (tolerance) and syura (consultation) is an integral part of the academic culture that Islamic higher education institutions seek to build. However, there is still a gap between the idealism of the institutional vision and the reality of student social practices in campus life. This study aims to analyze the implementation of a socio-religious approach in the internalization of the values of tasamuh (tolerance) and syura (consultation) within the campus environment of IAI Tarbiyatut Tholabah Lamongan. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results of the study indicate that efforts to internalize the values of tasamuh and syura have been carried out through the educational curriculum, student organization activities, and character development. However, there are still challenges in applying these values, such as group polarization, resistance to dialogue, and uneven involvement from the academic community. These findings differ from previous studies, which tended to emphasize the formal aspects of the curriculum without delving deeply into the social dynamics of students. This study contributes theoretically and practically to the development of more contextual strategies for internalizing Islamic values, and recommends strengthening the culture of consultation and collaborative training across campus elements.

Abstract

Bankruptcy is a legal mechanism intended to provide legal certainty and fairness for the parties involved, particularly creditors and debtors, in situations where the debtor is unable to fulfill debt obligations. However, in practice, bankruptcy caused by force majeure raises specific legal issues, especially regarding the form and scope of legal protection for creditors. Conditions of force majeure may place the debtor in a position of non-performance without fault, which potentially creates an imbalance of interests between creditors and debtors. The method used in this research is normative legal research, conducted as an effort to obtain the necessary data related to the problem. The data used are secondary data and tertiary legal materials. In addition, primary data is also used to support the secondary legal materials. Data analysis is conducted using qualitative legal analysis methods. The theories used in this research are the Legal Protection Theory and the Risk Theory. The results of the study indicate that legal protection for creditors in bankruptcy caused by force majeure is still provided through the principle of paritas creditorum and the mechanism of bankruptcy estate settlement conducted by the curator. However, the Bankruptcy Law has not explicitly regulated differentiated treatment for debtors who become bankrupt without fault. Therefore, equitable legal interpretation and more comprehensive legal policies are required to ensure a balance of rights and obligations between creditors and debtors in bankruptcy situations caused by force majeure.

Abstract

Law Number 30 of 1999 concerning Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution stipulates that arbitration awards are final and binding. This nature is a manifestation of legal certainty. Final means the last, while binding means that the disputing parties are legally bound from the moment the award is pronounced to implement the arbitration award. However, the same law also regulates the annulment of arbitration awards that are final and binding. Parties who are dissatisfied with an arbitration award use the grounds for setting aside an arbitration award to avoid their obligations under the arbitration award. Such actions will certainly cause legal uncertainty for arbitration awards. The method used in this study is normative legal research conducted as an effort to obtain the data needed in relation to the problem. The primary data used in this study are laws and regulations and court decisions. The secondary legal data used are books/literature and journals. Meanwhile, the tertiary legal data are derived from general dictionaries and legal dictionaries. All data were then analyzed using qualitative legal analysis methods. Since the issuance of Constitutional Court Decision Number 15/PUU-XII/2014 on November 11, 2014, the grounds for annulment of an arbitration award no longer need to be proven by a court decision. Court judges are given the discretion to assess the existence of document forgery, document concealment and/or deception. The legal certainty of arbitration awards, which are final and binding, must be maintained. The annulment of arbitration awards as regulated in Law No. 30 of 1999 on Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution must be interpreted as an effort to ensure that arbitration awards remain final and binding. Annulment is not an attempt to avoid obligations that have been decided. The role of the Court is also very important in maintaining the finality of arbitration awards. The Court must be able to issue decisions that have clear legal consequences for arbitration awards.

Abstract

The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia, through Decision Number 23/PUU-XIX/2021, opened the possibility for debtors to file a cassation appeal against Postponement of Debt Payment Obligation (PKPU) decisions submitted by creditors when the debtor’s proposed settlement plan has been rejected. This ruling serves as a constitutional correction to Article 235(1) and Article 293(1) of Law No. 37 of 2004, which previously denied debtors any legal remedies. However, the practical implementation within the Commercial Court remains inconsistent with the Constitutional Court’s mandate. Administrative mechanisms of the Supreme Court, including SEMA No. 1 of 2022 and Decree No. 109/2020, have yet to be aligned with this decision, resulting in debtor cassation petitions being rejected on formal grounds, as seen in several PKPU cases. This research employs a normative legal research method, utilizing statutory, case-based, historical, and analytical approaches. The study examines primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials through qualitative juridical analysis to assess the implications of the Constitutional Court’s ruling and the form of legal certainty that should be afforded to debtors. The findings indicate that Decision 23/PUU-XIX/2021 normatively grants debtors a constitutional right to seek cassation. Nevertheless, inconsistencies in the Supreme Court’s procedural regulations have generated significant legal uncertainty for debtors. When viewed through the lens of the rule of law and legal certainty theories, such conditions contradict the principles of justice, clarity, and protection of legal subjects. Therefore, regulatory harmonization, procedural reform, and administrative adjustments at the Commercial Court level are required to ensure the effective implementation of the Constitutional Court’s decision and to guarantee genuine legal certainty for debtors
