Abstract

This research is motivated by the prohibition to carry out learning activities at the TPA during the new normal, causing parents to only be able to foster children's prayer at home, even though not all parents have the understanding in teaching prayer to children as children get when studying at home. TPA, so that in the process the parents experienced several problems. Like some parents are not firm when ordering their children to pray so that children underestimate it, children also do not have knowledge about the terms and pillars of prayer even though at this age the child must be taught about this before he is ordered to pray. This research is a type of field research, which is a research that is carried out systematically by picking up existing data in the field, explaining and describing the situation and phenomena more clearly regarding the situation that occurs, using a qualitative approach. The results showed that the methods parents used were the habit method, the exemplary method, the advice method and the punishment method. The average development of reading/prayer movement movements has not worked well, where children only know the prayer movements but there are still many improvements to the prayer readings.. The obstacle faced when coaching prayer worship is that children sometimes feel lazy and tend to like playing games on their cellphones until forgetting time, lack of understanding of parents in teaching children about praying at home, busy parents working during the day so they can't monitor their children.

Abstract

This research was motivated by events that occurred in the field that researchers saw in SMP 02 Ranah Batahan while studying PAI there were some who had difficulty understanding the material presented by the teacher during PAI learning in the new normal era. When the teacher gives long material, students have difficulty reading the material, besides that, students also have difficulty sending videos that are long. And besides that, students also have difficulty expressing opinions because the opinions issued by students are often immersed and unreadable by the teacher. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, which describes the events that occur in the field as they are. Data collection that the author did by observation, and interviews. Research informants consist of key informants and supporting informants. Key informants were students of SMP 02 Ranah Batahan while supporting informants were teachers and parents. Data were analyzed by data collection techniques, data analysis techniques, and data triangulation. The results of this study regarding PAI learning difficulties in the new normal era in class VIII SMP 02 Ranah Batahan, Ranah Batahan District, namely students who do not have adequate communication tools, students have network difficulties, and students have limited quotas. So the solution that teachers do in overcoming learning difficulties in this new normal era is by creating interesting learning strategies, teachers convey learning materials creatively, reducing learning materials and teachers facilitating parents to ask the teacher directly what if students don’t understand.  Keywords: Learning Difficulties, Islamic Religious Education, New Normal Era

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rapid development of increasingly sophisticated technology in the era of globalization, so educators are also required to have IT skills that can support learning and make teaching materials that are more creative and innovative. However, at SMP N 2 Suliki, the learning of Islamic Religious Education still does not take advantage of the sophistication of the available technology. This research is a development research which consists of three stages, namely: the definition stage, the design stage and the develop stage. The research instrument used a validation sheet and a questionnaire. The module was validated by three validators, namely one media lecturer, one Islamic religious education lecturer, and one Islamic religious education teacher. At the practicality stage and the effectiveness of the e-module as a source of learning to practice prayer, it was tested on 26 seventh grade students of SMP N 2 Suliki. Based on the results of data analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded as follows: (1) The results of the validation of the e-module as a learning resource for prayer practice materials developed for class VII SMP N 2 Suliki are valid with a percentage of 85.3%. (2) The results of the trial on the practicality of the e-module as a learning resource for prayer practice materials that were developed showed the results of the teacher's practicality of 90.2% and the practicality of students of 85.4% with a very practical category that can be used in the learning process. (3) The results of the effectiveness trial on student learning outcomes with a correlation of 84% with the category of being very effective and giving a strong influence in the learning process. Abstract

This research was motivated by events that occurred in the field that researchers saw in SMK 1 Negeri Lembah Melintang while studying PAI. The author found difficulties in the performance of PAI teachers in planning, implementing, evaluating. PAI teacher performance during this pandemic in carrying out the main task of teaching (teaching), namely: the learning process during this pandemic the teacher experienced a process of difficulty in carrying out learning such as but there was no limited time then the system number of sessions was also limited, so usually the teacher explained the learning material or in that learning in one session it is full so that there is no repetition of the learning material that has been discussed earlier and the problem is this week's group 1 and tomorrow's group 2 so that the teacher repeats the material and that time is increasing in time where one learning material can so 4 or 5 meetings, so that the material is not achieved in accordance with the lesson plan. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, which describes the events that occur in the field as they are. Data were analyzed by data collection techniques, and data analysis techniques. The results of this study are about the performance of PAI teachers in the aspect of learning planning during the pandemic. Is an activity related to efforts to formulate a program which includes everything that will be carried out, determination of goals, policies, directions to be taken, procedures and methods to be followed in an effort to achieve goals. And PAI teacher performance in the aspect of implementing learning during the pandemic. Learning implementation is the implementation of the learning implementation plan (RPP) that has been prepared by the teacher. The implementation of classroom learning activities is the core of the implementation of education which is marked by the existence of learning activities, as well as the performance of PAI teachers in the aspect of evaluating learning during a pandemic. Activities or methods shown to determine whether or not the learning objectives have been achieved and the learning process that has been carried out. At this stage a teacher is required to have the ability to approach and evaluate methods. Keyword: PAI Teacher Performance in Learning During the Pandemic Period.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of parents about the importance of higher education for their children in Hamlet V, Batang Tumu Village. And the use of this research is to provide scientific input and knowledge to parents or the public about the importance of higher education. and wasting time, fear of parents if their children stop going to college in the middle of the road due to lack of funds, many children who finished high school/equivalent who are unemployed. This type of research is a field research with a qualitative approach, namely describing a phenomenon that occurs according to the data in the field. Through observation, interviews, as well as describing and analyzing phenomena, events, social activities, beliefs, perceptions, thoughts of people individually, or in groups. From the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the perceptions of parents vary. There are those who think that higher education is good and a way to achieve their children's goals, there are parents who don't want to enter higher education because they are constrained by costs and are afraid to stop midway. There are also parents of the opinion and view that higher education or college is less important because there is no need to go to college which ends also looking for work and it is better to finish high school and go straight to work. Furthermore, parents consider it less important because their children are focused on studying religious knowledge, and religious knowledge can be obtained from Islamic boarding schools without having to continue to higher education or college. Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the author's observations about students who indicated that they had received parental guidance but had low learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative correlation approach. Collecting data in this study the authors obtained through questionnaires and documentation. This study used 294 students as the population and as many as 44 students as samples taken from 15 people at each level of class VIII, IX and 14 people in class VII. The data analysis technique that the author uses is a prerequisite analysis test in the form of a data normality test and a linearity test. Then the final data analysis the author uses is correlation analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be understood that the significance level between the parental guidance variable (X) and student learning outcomes (Y) students is tcount = 7.52 with rcount = 0.610, then the hypothesis is accepted which states that there is a significant positive relationship between parental guidance and student learning outcomes (cognitive) on PAI subjects, it means H0 is rejected. This is due to = 0.610 which is in the coefficient interval 0.60-0.799 so that the level of correlation between the two variables is included in the strong category. Abstract

The background of the problem in this study is the formulation of the problem, namely what motivates parents to continue their children's education at the madinatul munawwarah Islamic boarding school, what are the factors that encourage parents to continue their child's education at the madinatul munawwarah Islamic boarding school and what obstacles are faced by parents in continue their child's education. Therefore, researchers are interested in examining what motivates parents in Jorong Sigiran to continue their children's education at the Madinatul Munawwarah Islamic Boarding School. This type of research is descriptive qualitative that is describing what it is about a situation. In this study, the authors describe the motivation of parents in Jorong Sigiran Nagari Malalak Utara to continue their children's education at the Madinatul Munawwarah Islamic Boarding School. The data collection instruments used were observation, and interviews. Sources of required data obtained from informants, namely parents. The results of the study found that the motivation of parents in Jorong Sigiran Nagari North Malalak to continue their children's education at the Madinatul Munawwarah Islamic boarding school is so that children know more about religious knowledge, to become pious and pious children, to form noble character in children, to avoid environmental influences that not good, improve life. Efforts made by parents in continuing their children's education to the Madinatul Munawwarah Islamic Boarding School are motivating children, giving advice, giving punishment, educating, and giving examples. Abstract

This writing is motivated by the declining learning achievement of students at MAN 4 Agam due to the laziness of students to read, write, understand, and communicate the knowledge they have learned, which causes students' grades to decline. Because the development of the era of students more and more misuse the internet. It would be nice to use the internet for learning such as reading, listening or watching shows that contain education. So to overcome this and revive reading culture, the government made regulation No.23 of 2015, the Ministry of Culture and Education requires reading books 15 minutes before learning. Also known as the School Literacy Movement. For this reason, the author tries to describe the School Literacy Movement at MAN 4 Agam in increasing learning achievement of Islamic Cultural History. The type of research that the researcher uses in this research is Field Research. While the research method that the author uses is descriptive qualitative, namely research that describes the data as it is in the field. In this study, the author describes the implementation of the School Literacy Movement at MAN 4 Agam. The data collection method was taken from observation, documentation and interviews with key informants and supporting informants. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the Literacy Movement is very effective in improving the ability to read, write, understand and communicate again. Which will later improve student learning achievement itself. As in the research of researchers, namely the learning of Islamic Cultural History which makes learning outcomes satisfying. There are three stages of the School Literacy Movement activity, namely the habituation stage, the development stage and the literacy stage in learning. The MAN 4 religious school itself has carried out these three stages and is still running at the literacy stage in learning. Abstract

This research is motivated by problems in classroom management, namely, in the learning activities of grades 1 to grade 6 are united in one class, teachers pay less attention to students in explaining learning, and teachers do not apply sanctions to students who violate the rules. This research uses qualitative research, using qualitative descriptive research methods. Sources of data obtained through informants include key informants, namely TPQ Mushalla Mukhlisin teacher and supporting informants, namely TPQ Mushalla Mukhlisin students. In collecting data, using observation and interviews. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. From the results of this study, in optimizing classroom management at TPQ Mushalla Mukhlisin the teacher has implemented some components of class management skills, the first component relating to the creation and maintenance of optimal learning conditions that have been implemented is to provide clear instructions and reprimand, meanwhile that have not been applied are responsiveness, sharing attention, focusing group attention, and providing reinforcement. The second component of Skills related to controlling optimal learning conditions that have been applied is finding and solving behavior that causes problems, while what has not been applied is modifying behavior and group management. In an effort to optimize classroom management, teachers face several obstacles, including teachers who have not mastered classroom management skills, students are difficult to manage and limited facilities in teaching. Abstract

This research is motivated in the teaching and learning process, the teacher uses the lecture method, although it is rarely applied by the teacher in the teaching and learning process, it's just that the teacher is more often in making summaries and giving assignments to students. The teacher has made efforts or methods in the learning process even though not all of them have been implemented by the teacher, the goal is that students are motivated in learning, but in fact there are still some things that researchers found, it can be seen from the lack of student interest in learning fiqh, students do not do the tasks given by the teacher , and students pay less attention when the teacher explains the material when learning takes place, some talk to their classmates, or do other things that can interfere with learning concentration. Therefore, to achieve success they need the spirit and motivation of a teacher. As for the author's goal in this study is to determine the efforts of teachers in increasing student motivation in learning Fiqh Class VII. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research, which is a method that describes the situation that occurs in the field systematically. Sources of data in this study were teachers who taught Fiqh in class VII as key informants, while the supporting informants in this study were class VII students of MTsN 3 Agam Balingka. To collect data, the authors conducted observations, interviews and documentation, as well as to measure the validity of the data using something else by comparing the data obtained from the observation data and the results of interviews with the research object. From the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the teacher's efforts in increasing student learning motivation in class VII Fiqh learning at MTsN 3 Agam Balingka are less than optimal due to the teacher's efforts to increase students' motivation in learning Fiqh Class VII is only by giving numbers, giving tests, know learning outcomes, and praise.
