Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ability of teachers to prepare test instruments using Quizizz in the formative evaluation of Qur’an Hadith learning at MTs DDI Taqwa, as well as to examine the effectiveness of its implementation and students’ responses toward it. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, this research was conducted through field observations and in-depth interviews with Islamic Education (PAI) teachers at MTs DDI Taqwa, Parepare City. The qualitative paradigm used seeks to understand comprehensively the teacher’s performance and students’ experiences in applying Quizizz Paper Mode within the formative evaluation process.The findings reveal that teachers demonstrated a good level of competence in preparing test instruments using Quizizz Paper Mode. They were able to design items aligned with the Qur’an Hadith curriculum, considering question difficulty, and integrating cognitive aspects in accordance with learning objectives. The implementation of Quizizz in paper format presents an innovative alternative in assessment, especially in schools with limited access to digital technology. Despite the paper-based format, this method successfully preserves fairness, maintains engagement, and adapts the advantages of digital quizzes into a traditional testing environment. Moreover, students’ responses toward formative evaluations using Quizizz Paper Mode were highly positive. They expressed enthusiasm, found the tests more engaging, and showed greater confidence during evaluations. The use of this method also stimulated active learning, enhanced motivation, and created a more enjoyable and interactive learning atmosphere. Overall, the study concludes that Quizizz Paper Mode serves as a practical and effective solution in formative assessments for Qur’an Hadith learning, bridging innovation with contextual educational needs while fostering both teacher creativity and student participation.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) pada siswa kelas IV UPTD SD Negeri 26 Parepare. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 14 siswa kelas IV yang terdiri dari 5 siswa laki-laki dan 9 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Indikator keberhasilan penelitian dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu indikator proses dan indikator hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan baik dari segi aktivitas guru dan peserta didik maupun dari hasil keterampilan berbicara siswa. Pada siklus I, aktivitas guru memperoleh persentase 72,22% dan aktivitas siswa sebesar 67,06% dengan hasil keterampilan berbicara siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 64,28%. Setelah perbaikan pada siklus II, aktivitas guru meningkat menjadi 88,88%, aktivitas siswa mencapai 79,36%, dan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa meningkat menjadi 85,71%. Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS terbukti dapat meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran serta kemampuan siswa dalam menyampaikan ide secara lisan. Dengan demikian, model TPS efektif digunakan sebagai strategi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study focuses on the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the strategic programs implemented by the Office of Cooperatives and MSMEs of East Lombok Regency. MSMEs play a vital role in improving community welfare and driving regional economic growth. The local government seeks to strengthen this sector through various empowerment policies and initiatives. The purpose of this study is to examine and describe the efforts to develop MSMEs through the strategic programs of the Office of Cooperatives and MSMEs, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors influencing their implementation. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the stages of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the strategic programs include enhancing human resource capacity, facilitating access to financing, expanding market access, and providing business mentoring. These programs have contributed positively to improving the productivity and independence of MSME actors. Supporting factors include government support, partnerships with financial institutions, and strong entrepreneurial enthusiasm, while inhibiting factors involve low digital literacy, limited managerial capacity, and challenges in the distribution of financial aid. Overall, the strategic programs of the Office of Cooperatives and MSMEs play a crucial role in strengthening the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs in East Lombok Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the determinants of teacher performance in the vocational education sector, focusing on job characteristics and work motivation as the main antecedents. This study also examines the mediating role of digital dexterity and the moderating effect of Perceived Organizational Support (POS). An explanatory quantitative approach was adopted using Partial Least Squares-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS). The research population and sample were all teaching staff at SMK Ketintang Surabaya, totaling 91 people (a saturated sample). Data was collected through questionnaires and processed using SmartPLS 3.0. The findings indicate that job characteristics and work motivation have a significant effect on digital dexterity and teacher performance. Digital dexterity was proven to mediate this influence. Specifically, Perceived Organizational Support (POS) was also shown to significantly moderate the relationship between digital dexterity and teacher performance. These results provide a theoretical contribution, showing that job design and organizational support influence performance in the era of digital transformation. A practical implication that can be applied is the importance of schools providing tangible support and autonomous job design to maximize teachers' digital competencies.

Abstract

The high turnover intention among outsourced employees at PT. XYZ in Sidoarjo highlights the importance of understanding the psychological factors that influence the decision to change jobs. This study analyzes the influence of job insecurity and employee engagement on turnover intention, with perceived organizational support (POS) as a mediating variable. This study contributes theoretically by expanding the understanding of the dual role of POS in unstable employment relationships, and practically by providing implications for the management of outsourced workers in the manufacturing industry. Using an explanatory quantitative approach, data were collected from 189 outsourced employees and analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results show that job insecurity has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. Employee engagement has a significant effect on POS, but does not directly reduce turnover intention. POS is proven to have a significant effect on turnover intention and mediates the inconsistent relationship between employee engagement and turnover intention. Meanwhile, POS does not mediate the effect of job insecurity on turnover intention. The research model was able to explain 30.5% of the variation in turnover intention, confirming that in the context of outsourcing, organizational support is not yet able to curb turnover intention when job insecurity remains high. Practically, this study recommends strengthening job security, clarifying career prospects, and improving the quality of organizational support relevant to outsourced employees to reduce turnover intention more effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of coal shipping activities on the social and economic conditions of communities in Berau Regency, East Kalimantan. The increasing intensity of coal maritime transport in this region follows the rapid growth of the export-oriented mining industry. However, this development not only contributes to the local economy but also triggers various social dynamics within coastal areas and communities along the shipping routes. This research adopts a qualitative approach through field research methods. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and direct observation of 40 respondents, consisting of coastal residents, fishermen, port workers, and local government officials. Eighteen respondents were fishermen, nine respondents were coastal community members, six respondents were port workers, and seven respondents were local government officials. The data were analyzed descriptively to examine the relationship between the intensity of shipping activities and changes in the socio-economic structure of local communities. The findings indicate that coal shipping activities have generated positive economic impacts, such as increased employment opportunities and income levels, but have also led to several social issues, including environmental degradation, land conflicts, and a decline in coastal community well-being. Therefore, sustainable maritime management policies are required to ensure that the economic benefits gained from coal shipping do not compromise social welfare and environmental preservation in Berau Regency.

Abstract

Pemahaman mengenai analisis struktur senyawa bioaktif merupakan kompetensi penting bagi mahasiswa kedokteran, khususnya terkait perkembangan ilmu biomedis dan pemanfaatan tanaman obat sebagai sumber kandidat obat baru. Identifikasi senyawa bioaktif berbasis bahan alam sangat bergantung pada teknik spektroskopi, seperti UV-Vis, FTIR, dan NMR, yang memungkinkan karakterisasi struktur molekul secara akurat. Namun, mahasiswa Kedokteran Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM) masih menghadapi keterbatasan dalam penguasaan teori maupun keterampilan praktis terkait teknik ini, baik karena kurangnya paparan instrumen laboratorium maupun minimnya pelatihan terstruktur di bidang spektroskopi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kompetensi mahasiswa melalui pelatihan intensif analisis struktur senyawa bioaktif menggunakan metode spektroskopi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif evaluatif yang mencakup sosialisasi, pelatihan teori, praktik laboratorium, penerapan teknologi spektroskopi, serta evaluasi pemahaman peserta. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada aspek pengetahuan dasar spektroskopi, keterampilan dalam mengoperasikan instrumen UV-Vis dan FTIR, serta kemampuan menginterpretasi spektrum untuk mengidentifikasi gugus fungsi senyawa bioaktif. Pelatihan ini juga meningkatkan minat mahasiswa terhadap penelitian bahan alam dan memperkuat kesiapan mereka dalam melakukan analisis ilmiah berbasis laboratorium. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan spektroskopi efektif dalam mendukung pengembangan kompetensi biomedis mahasiswa dan relevan untuk mendukung riset berbasis tanaman obat dalam aplikasi medis

Abstract

Tourism in East Nusa Tenggara is still very natural, there are many natural tourist destinations that can provide nuances of beauty and coolness. One of them is Tablolong Beach which is located in Tablolong Village, West Kupang District, Kupang Regency. This beach is very large and is never quiet and visited by tourists who come from various regions. Tablolong Beach has a fairly calm wave with a stretch of white sand mixed with soft chocolate. The condition of the sand is quite wide and sloping, so it allows you to do various exciting activities. In addition to being a recreational event, tablolong beach is known as a fishing tourism village because the coast is open sea and has abundant marine potential, so it is not surprising that many visitors every week visit and fish on this beach, but since the covid19 pandemic the condition of this tourist beach has begun to become quiet, this has given the economic effect of tourism to decrease. This research was conducted at the Tablolong Beach tourist attraction located in West Kupang District, Kupang Regency. This study aims firstly to analyze visitor assessments of Tablolong Beach tourist destinations and where visitors come, second to analyze the economic value of Tablolong Beach Ecotourism with the Contingent Valuation Method approach. The sampling technique used in this study uses Accidental Sampling. The analysis method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive research using the Contingent Valuation method. The results of this study concluded that the general assessment of visitors towards Tablolong Beach Ecotourism tourism was quite good. With the highest percentage of visitor answers of 65.80%. The majority of visitors as many as 62% come from the Kupang City area and as many as 38% come from outside Kupang City. The economic value of Tablolong Beach Ecotourism tourism with the Contingent Assessment Method approach, which can be known from the total income of the visitor's Willingness to Pay (WTP) is Rp. 2.230.203.600 per month. The number will increase on holidays and days where there are activities or events.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak sosial ekonomi yang dialami masyarakat akibat penggusuran rumah dan lahan di Kampung Tua Tembesi Tower, Sagulung, Batam. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah metode campuran (mixed method) dengan menggabungkan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui wawancara langsung, survey lokasi penggusuran dan sebagiannya berbasis dokumen (laporan media, laporan Ombudsman, pernyataan perusahaan, dan sumber sekunder lainnya) untuk mengidentifikasi konsekuensi langsung dan tidak langsung atas proses penertiban lahan pada awal Januari 2025. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggusuran memicu hilangnya hunian dan aset material, gangguan mata pencaharian (termasuk kehilangan usaha mikro dan akses kerja), penurunan pendapatan rumah tangga, disrupsi layanan pendidikan dan kesehatan, serta dampak psikososial dan erosi modal sosial komunitas. Temuan juga menunjukkan adanya masalah tata kelola pertanahan dan indikasi maladministrasi yang direkomendasikan untuk ditindaklanjuti oleh Ombudsman. Artikel ini menyimpulkan dengan rekomendasi kebijakan praktis: kompensasi yang adil dan transparan, relokasi partisipatif, pemulihan mata pencaharian, mekanisme kompensasi jangka panjang, dan penguatan mekanisme pengaduan serta monitoring independen untuk memastikan pemulihan sosial-ekonomi.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji penggunaan teknik Market Place Activity dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam sebagai upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII SMP DDI Mangkoso. Permasalahan penelitian difokuskan pada rendahnya keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik akibat dominannya penggunaan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan teknik Market Place Activity, mengidentifikasi hambatan yang muncul dalam pelaksanaannya, serta merumuskan solusi untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif melalui desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan dua siklus, yang melibatkan observasi dan tes hasil belajar sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik Market Place Activity mampu meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik dan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam secara signifikan. Pembelajaran tidak hanya bersifat normatif, tetapi juga mendorong peserta didik untuk berpikir kritis, berkomunikasi, dan mengaitkan materi dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya keselarasan antara landasan teoretis, strategi pembelajaran, dan fokus kajian agar pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam menjadi lebih bermakna dan berkontribusi secara konseptual maupun praktis dalam diskursus pendidikan Islam kontemporer.
