Abstract

The increasing incidence of divorce among older couples signifies a notable shift in both the social structure and the legal framework of family law in Indonesia. While long-term marriages are typically associated with emotional stability and strong commitment, data from the Palembang Islamic Court indicate that individuals aged 56 and older remain susceptible to marital dissolution. This article aims to analyze the typology of causes behind late-life divorce and examine the legal reasoning employed by Muslim judges in adjudicating such cases. Adopting a socio-legal approach, the study integrates empirical data with a jurisprudential analysis of 56 divorce decisions issued by the Palembang Islamic Court in 2022. The findings reveal that late-life divorce does not occur abruptly; rather, it is the culmination of long-standing, structurally embedded conflicts, including domestic violence, economic subordination, and inequality in emotional and sexual relations. Furthermore, the study demonstrates that the judicial reasoning of Muslim judges is not entirely neutral; it reflects the internalization of prevailing social norms and institutionalized power relations within the adjudicative process. Accordingly, this article argues that late-life divorce should not be perceived merely as a personal failure but as a manifestation of gender-based structural inequality operating across two primary domains: the domestic and the institutional. Thus, the study calls for a reformulation of Islamic legal approaches and the development of a more gender-responsive religious court system capable of addressing structural disparities in the context of elderly divorce. [Fenomena meningkatnya angka perceraian pada pasangan usia lanjut menandai pergeseran penting dalam struktur sosial dan konfigurasi hukum keluarga di Indonesia. Meskipun pernikahan jangka panjang sering diasosiasikan dengan stabilitas emosional dan komitmen yang kuat, data dari Pengadilan Agama Palembang menunjukkan bahwa pasangan berusia 56 tahun ke atas tetap berada dalam kondisi rentan terhadap perceraian. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tipologi penyebab perceraian usia lanjut dan mengkaji konstruksi argumentasi hukum yang digunakan oleh hakim muslim dalam memutus perkara, melalui pendekatan sosio-legal yang mengintegrasikan studi lapangan dengan analisis yurisprudensi terhadap 56 putusan Pengadilan Agama Palembang tahun 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perceraian pada usia lanjut tidak terjadi secara tiba-tiba, melainkan merupakan akumulasi konflik jangka panjang yang bersifat struktural, termasuk kekerasan domestik, subordinasi ekonomi, serta ketimpangan dalam relasi seksual dan emosional. Temuan ini juga memperlihatkan bahwa argumentasi hukum hakim muslim dalam memutus perkara tidak sepenuhnya bersifat netral, tetapi turut mencerminkan internalisasi norma sosial dan struktur relasi kuasa yang terlembaga dalam sistem peradilan. Dengan demikian, artikel ini menegaskan bahwa perceraian usia lanjut bukan sekadar kegagalan relasi personal, melainkan perlu dipahami sebagai manifestasi dari ketidaksetaraan gender yang beroperasi dalam dua arena utama: domestik dan institusional. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan reformulasi pendekatan hukum Islam dan penguatan sistem peradilan agama yang lebih responsif terhadap dimensi ketimpangan struktural berbasis gender dalam konteks perceraian lansia.]

Abstract

This study attempts to evaluate the process and forms of cultural acculturation in marriages between the Bugis and Dayak tribes in Lampuyang Village, Teluk Sampit District, East Kotawaringin Regency. The focus of the research is targeted at how these two cultural traditions interact and adapt in marriage rituals within a multiethnic community. This study combines a qualitative approach employing ethnographic methodologies reinforced with a historical viewpoint to trace the background of the meeting of Bugis and Dayak civilizations in the region. Data were obtained from field observations, in-depth interviews with traditional leaders, village officials, bridal couples, and documentation studie. The results show that Bugis and Dayak marriages in Lampuyang Village are the result of a selective and dialogical acculturation process. Traditional elements from both tribes are maintained but are adjusted through family agreements and the influence of dominant Islamic religious values. This acculturation does not lead to the elimination of cultural identity, but rather forms a contextual and adaptive pattern of integration. Thus, interethnic marriages in Lampuyang Village can be understood as a space for cultural negotiation as well as a means of social integration in a multiethnic society. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of parenting styles on the development of students' social concern character. The research was conducted in class VA with 21 student of SDN 1 Pengadangan as respondents in the academic year 2022/2023. The research method used is quantitative research with an ex-post facto research method. The results of the hypothesis test analysis conducted by the researcher indicate that there is an influence of parenting styles on the development of students' social concern character using the t-test formula, with the testing criteria being that if the tcount > ttable value at a significance level of 0.05 (5%), then there is an influence between variables X and Y. Based on the results of the hypothesis test calculation of the influence of parenting styles on the development of students' social concern character, with a tcount 12.143 > ttable 2.080 at a significance level of 0.05. Meanwhile, the significance value of the influence of parenting styles on the development of students' social concern character is 0.00 < 0.05 (5%). Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence of parenting styles on the development of fifth-grade students' social concern character.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and formulate the knowledge system of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) as a model of Nusantara Islamic epistemology relevant to the development of contemporary Islamic education. This research employs a literature review method, examining recent scholarly works on Islamic boarding schools, classical Islamic epistemology, and modern Islamic educational theory. Through a critical analysis of this literature, the research identifies that the knowledge system of Islamic boarding schools is constructed through a combination of the scholarly authority of the kiai (Islamic scholars), the sanad tradition, the study of yellow books (kitab kuning), the practice of bahtsul masā'il (religious discourse), and the integration of three epistemological approaches: bayani (textual), burhani (rational-empirical), and irfani (spiritual-intuitive). These findings demonstrate that Islamic boarding schools function not only as centers for the transmission of classical Islamic knowledge but also as institutions capable of producing new knowledge products contextualized to the socio-religious dynamics of Indonesian society. The results confirm that Islamic boarding school epistemology makes a significant contribution to the construction of an Nusantara Islamic epistemology characterized by moderation, local wisdom, and adaptability to modernity. Theoretically, this research strengthens the position of Islamic boarding schools as epistemic sources distinct from Middle Eastern models of scholarship and modern-secular educational paradigms. Practically, this epistemological model can serve as a basis for developing a more relevant, integrative Islamic education curriculum oriented toward developing spiritual character and 21st-century competencies.

Abstract

From a social history perspective, decentralization influenced not only political institutions but also everyday social life. Local elites often used religious symbols and narratives to gain legitimacy and strengthen their political influence. In several regions, this process contributed to the emergence of faith-based local regulations. One example is the implementation of Islamic law in Aceh, where regional autonomy allowed religious norms to become integrated into governance and public life.However, decentralization also produced complex consequences. Although autonomy was intended to strengthen democracy and accommodate local diversity, it sometimes intensified identity-based politics. Religious discourse could be used strategically by political actors to gain support and authority. As a result, debates about religious identity often overshadowed broader social issues such as poverty, inequality, and corruption. This study shows that Islamic moderation in post–New Order Indonesia has developed through interactions between local communities, religious institutions, and political actors within decentralized governance structures.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the historical and political dynamics of the Muslim community in South Korea by highlighting the tension between Islamophobia and the state's inclusive policies. This study fills a research gap because previous studies tended to be partial and failed to comprehensively integrate historical, political, and social aspects. The method used was a qualitative one with a historical approach through literature review. The research findings indicate that although the state guarantees religious freedom and promotes Muslim-friendly policies, the Muslim community still faces discrimination and social marginalization. Under these conditions, the Muslim community develops adaptation strategies through identity strengthening, education, and interfaith dialogue. This study concludes that there is a tension between inclusive state policies and exclusive social realities, which drives the formation of cultural adaptation patterns and resistance within the Muslim community in the process of social integration

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Annur 2 Al-Murtadlo, sebagaimana lembaga pendidikan Islam lainnya, menghadapi tantangan dalam mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran bagi Generasi Z dan Generasi Alpha. Kedua generasi ini memiliki karakteristik unik yang menuntut strategi pembelajaran yang adaptif agar tetap relevan dan efektif. Generasi Z dan Generasi Alpha dikenal memiliki tingkat adaptasi teknologi yang tinggi, preferensi terhadap gaya belajar visual dan interaktif, serta rentang perhatian yang relatif pendek. Karakteristik tersebut menuntut pendekatan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan responsif guna mengakomodasi kebutuhan belajar mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis strategi pembelajaran yang efektif yang diterapkan di Pondok Pesantren Annur 2 Al-Murtadlo bagi Generasi Z dan Generasi Alpha, serta mengevaluasi dampaknya terhadap peningkatan pemahaman keagamaan dan pengembangan karakter santri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan santri, guru, dan pengelola pesantren, serta analisis dokumen terhadap kurikulum dan metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan di Pondok Pesantren Annur 2 Al-Murtadlo. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi bagi pengembangan kurikulum dan praktik pembelajaran di Pondok Pesantren Annur 2 Al-Murtadlo, serta memberikan kontribusi pemikiran bagi pesantren lain yang menghadapi tantangan serupa dalam mendidik Generasi Z dan Generasi Alpha.

Abstract

Globalisasi memengaruhi perilaku siswa dan menantang efektivitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Penelitian ini menelusuri strategi guru MTs Azharul Ulum 02 Brongkal dalam mengintegrasikan nilai kearifan lokal ke bahan ajar PAI, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya, melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan guru menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual, pembiasaan karakter, dan keteladanan untuk menanamkan nilai budaya dan moral. Regulasi, dukungan kepala sekolah, dan sinergi guru mendukung proses ini, sementara perbedaan karakter siswa dan keterbatasan fasilitas menjadi penghambat. Integrasi kearifan lokal terbukti efektif membentuk karakter, akhlak, dan identitas budaya siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berbasis pendekatan kontekstual dalam meningkatkan relevansi pembelajaran pada era digital, khususnya di SMK Al-Khozini Ganjaran Kabupaten Malang. Pengembangan ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan bahwa pembelajaran PAI tidak dapat lagi berorientasi pada hafalan teks dan ceramah satu arah, tetapi harus terhubung dengan realitas kehidupan siswa. Pendekatan kontekstual diterapkan melalui tiga elemen utama, yaitu pengalaman langsung siswa, isu sosial-budaya lokal, serta pemanfaatan teknologi digital sebagai media pembelajaran. Dengan mengintegrasikan ketiga aspek tersebut, pembelajaran PAI menjadi lebih bermakna, interaktif, dan mampu membentuk karakter peserta didik secara nyata. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis kontekstual dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar, pemahaman nilai agama, serta kemampuan siswa menerapkan konsep keislaman dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun demikian, implementasinya menghadapi beberapa hambatan seperti kompetensi guru yang belum merata, keterbatasan infrastruktur digital, dan resistensi terhadap paradigma pembelajaran baru. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan dukungan melalui pelatihan guru, penyediaan sarana belajar, pendampingan sekolah, serta kebijakan yang mendorong inovasi pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan, pengembangan bahan ajar PAI berbasis kontekstual memiliki potensi besar dalam menciptakan pembelajaran agama yang relevan, adaptif, dan selaras dengan tuntutan abad ke-21.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in the national economy, yet many business owners in Sukosari Village face significant challenges regarding business legality and halal product assurance, which hinders their competitiveness. This community service activity aims to provide comprehensive education and technical assistance to MSME owners in obtaining Business Identification Numbers (NIB) and registering for halal certification through the self-declare scheme. The methods implemented included a persuasive approach via door-to-door socialization, operational assistance with the Online Single Submission (OSS) system, and field verification to ensure the halal status of raw materials. The results of the assistance showed a significant increase in digital literacy and administrative compliance, where out of the 10 identified business owners, all (100%) successfully issued their NIB as a fundamental legal requirement. Furthermore, two business owners successfully obtained official halal certificates from the Halal Product Assurance Organizing Body (BPJPH), while other participants are currently awaiting the final verification process from the relevant agencies. This program also succeeded in transforming the community's negative perception of licensing bureaucracy, proving that the legality process can be carried out easily, free of charge, and transparently. It is concluded that strategic collaboration between academics and the village government is capable of overcoming administrative barriers while simultaneously strengthening legal legitimacy and consumer trust in local economic products. Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memegang peran vital dalam perekonomian nasional, namun banyak pelaku usaha di Desa Sukosari menghadapi kendala dalam kepemilikan legalitas usaha dan jaminan kehalalan produk yang menghambat daya saing. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi komprehensif serta pendampingan teknis kepada pelaku UMKM dalam pengurusan Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB) dan pendaftaran sertifikasi halal melalui skema self-declare. Metode yang diterapkan meliputi pendekatan persuasif melalui sosialisasi door-to-door, pendampingan operasional sistem Online Single Submission (OSS), serta verifikasi lapangan untuk memastikan kehalalan bahan baku. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada literasi digital dan kepatuhan administrasi, di mana dari 10 pelaku usaha yang teridentifikasi, seluruhnya (100%) berhasil menerbitkan NIB sebagai legalitas dasar. Lebih lanjut, dua pelaku usaha telah sukses memperoleh sertifikat halal resmi dari Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH), sedangkan peserta lainnya sedang menunggu proses verifikasi akhir dari instansi terkait. Program ini juga berhasil mengubah persepsi negatif masyarakat mengenai birokrasi perizinan, membuktikan bahwa proses legalitas dapat dilakukan dengan mudah, gratis, dan transparan. Disimpulkan bahwa kolaborasi strategis antara akademisi dan pemerintah desa mampu mengatasi hambatan administratif sekaligus memperkuat legitimasi hukum dan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap produk ekonomi lokal.
