Abstract

Discipline plays a very important role in improving the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in elementary school students. With a disciplined attitude, students can be more focused in understanding the material, carrying out worship in an orderly manner, and applying Islamic values. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of discipline on the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education in grade IV students of Elementary School 1 Topa. This type of research is a correlation study aimed at finding out whether or not there is a relationship and if there is some close relationship and whether or not the relationship is meaningful. The approach used is descriptive quantitative where data collection uses research instruments, namely questionnaires and documentation. The results of the study showed that the data met the assumptions of normality and homogeneity, so that regression analysis could be carried out validly. Although there is a fairly strong relationship between discipline and learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), the results of the regression test showed that the influence of discipline was not significant. This indicates that other factors outside of discipline may play a greater role in determining student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This paper focuses on building family resilience from third-party intervention, which in this paper is parents/in-laws. The definition of a happy family is a family filled with mutual love, affection, protection and respect. However, the definition of a happy family above will not be achieved without the reconception of love and balance from the beginning and beyond as an effort to fortify the intervention of parents/in-laws. The application of the concept of harmony and balance in this study is one of the responsive efforts to create a stronghold of family resilience against the problematic intervention of parents/in-laws in the household life of their children/in-laws. This type of library research uses the descriptive-analytic method to obtain and analyze all the data obtained. The results of this study explain that it takes hard work and support between husband and wife to prevent third-party intervention as a trigger for household breakdown. Factors that influence parents to interfere in their children's households, namely: living in the same house, still close to the place of residence, lack of income from the son-in-law/child (economy), lack of affection from parents, lack of communication with in-laws and incompatibility between parents/in-laws and children/children in law. Anticipating the above, as an effort to build family resilience from third-party interference is to apply the concept of love and balance that each party can understand and good communication based on faith so that it can present an attitude of love and understanding and ultimately family harmony can be formed.

Abstract

Computer network learning in vocational high schools (SMK), particularly in the Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) department, still faces various challenges, such as students’ difficulties in understanding abstract technical concepts and limited practical facilities. This condition highlights the need for innovative, interactive, and applicable learning media. This study aims to examine the use of Cisco Packet Tracer as an interactive e-learning tool to enhance the effectiveness of computer network learning in SMK. The methodology employed is descriptive qualitative, using literature review and independent exploration of the features and implementation of Cisco Packet Tracer. The findings indicate that Cisco Packet Tracer provides a virtual learning environment that simulates real-world conditions, facilitates student understanding through hands-on simulation, and supports project-based learning. Therefore, Cisco Packet Tracer is an effective, efficient, and suitable alternative learning medium for vocational education settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using Google Classroom on students’ learning outcomes in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) subjects at SMK Negeri 2 Rambah. A pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design was applied, involving 25 twelfth-grade students as the sample. Data collection instruments included multiple-choice tests to measure learning outcomes, Likert-scale questionnaires to assess students' perceptions, and supporting interviews. The findings show that the experimental class achieved an average N-Gain of 0.425 (moderate category), higher than the control class with 0.235, indicating improved learning outcomes through Google Classroom. Most students responded positively, highlighting ease of access (91.1%), practical material delivery (96.7%), and increased online interaction (84.4%). Challenges included unstable internet connections and limited device capacity. These results reinforce the role of Google Classroom as an effective and flexible digital learning medium, supporting constructivist learning theory through active and collaborative engagement. It is recommended that this platform be continuously integrated to enhance the quality of ICT learning in vocational school environments.

Abstract

The use of technology in learning plays a very important role in improving the quality of education, especially in the digital era. Technology provides wider access to learning resources, increases the effectiveness of learning through more interactive methods, and enriches the learning experience with digital media such as e-learning, augmented reality, and other educational applications. In addition, technology accelerates adaptation to global change, where learning is no longer limited to conventional methods, but can be done online and flexibly. Therefore, the integration of technology in education is a primary need to improve the quality of learning at various levels. This study uses a qualitative method with data sources obtained through literature reviews and direct observations in coastal areas. The results of the study show that there are various opportunities in the use of learning technology, such as the implementation of online learning and the use of e-books that can increase efficiency and create a more interactive learning experience for students. However, this study also found various challenges, such as limited infrastructure, uneven internet networks, and the use of technology that is not fully in accordance with learning needs in schools. Therefore, support is needed from various parties, both the government and the private sector, in improving digital learning infrastructure and providing assistance to students and teachers in the use of appropriate technology. With these steps, it is hoped that equal access to digital education can be realized, especially for students in coastal areas, in order to achieve national education goals. Abstrak Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, terutama di era digital. Teknologi memberikan akses yang lebih luas terhadap sumber belajar, meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran melalui metode yang lebih interaktif, serta memperkaya pengalaman belajar dengan media digital seperti e-learning, augmented reality, dan aplikasi edukatif lainnya. Selain itu, teknologi mempercepat adaptasi terhadap perubahan global, di mana pembelajaran tidak lagi terbatas pada metode konvensional, tetapi dapat dilakukan secara daring dan fleksibel. Oleh karena itu, integrasi teknologi dalam pendidikan menjadi kebutuhan utama untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di berbagai jenjang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan sumber data yang diperoleh melalui kajian literatur dan observasi langsung di daerah pesisir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat berbagai peluang dalam pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran, seperti penerapan pembelajaran daring dan penggunaan e-book yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi serta menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif bagi siswa. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, jaringan internet yang tidak merata, serta penggunaan teknologi yang belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran di sekolah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, baik pemerintah maupun sektor swasta, dalam meningkatkan infrastruktur pembelajaran digital serta memberikan pendampingan bagi siswa dan guru dalam pemanfaatan teknologi yang tepat. Dengan langkah-langkah ini, diharapkan pemerataan akses pendidikan digital dapat terwujud, khususnya bagi siswa di daerah pesisir, guna mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional.

Abstract

Karawitan Minangkabau merupakan ekspresi seni musik tradisional yang terintegrasi erat dengan sistem adat, struktur sosial, dan nilai budaya masyarakat Minangkabau di Sumatera Barat. Di tengah dinamika globalisasi dan modernisasi, karawitan Minangkabau mengalami berbagai perubahan yang memengaruhi struktur musikal, fungsi sosial, serta maknanya dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji karawitan Minangkabau secara komprehensif dengan menempatkannya sebagai praktik musikal dan sosial yang saling berkaitan, meliputi analisis struktur musikal, fungsi sosial, serta bentuk-bentuk transformasinya dalam konteks budaya modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) terhadap literatur ilmiah yang relevan, baik nasional maupun internasional, yang dianalisis secara tematik dan sintesis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa struktur musikal karawitan Minangkabau dibangun atas prinsip heterofoni, sistem nada lokal, pola ritmis khas, serta improvisasi yang terkendali, yang mencerminkan nilai kolektivitas dan konsensus adat. Secara sosial, karawitan berfungsi sebagai media legitimasi adat, transmisi nilai budaya, serta sarana pembentukan dan negosiasi identitas, baik dalam konteks tradisional maupun modern. Transformasi karawitan Minangkabau terlihat dalam perubahan ruang pertunjukan, orientasi fungsi, dan munculnya bentuk musikal hibrida sebagai respons terhadap tuntutan budaya modern. Sintesis temuan menegaskan bahwa struktur musikal, fungsi sosial, dan transformasi karawitan Minangkabau saling berhubungan secara dialektis, sehingga karawitan Minangkabau perlu dipahami sebagai praktik budaya yang dinamis dan adaptif. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi teoretis bagi kajian etnomusikologi serta menjadi rujukan dalam upaya pelestarian dan pengembangan musik tradisional Minangkabau di era modern.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk karakter generasi Z yang lahir pada era digital dengan tantangan moral dan etika yang kompleks. Pembentukan karakter melalui PAI berfokus pada internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, disiplin, dan toleransi dan berupaya menjawab tantangan globalisasi, tekanan sosial media, dan perubahan budaya kontemporer. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pustaka dengan mengkaji berbagai jurnal, buku, dan artikel ilmiah untuk menggambarkan peran PAI dalam pembentukan karakter generasi Z, termasuk strategi kurikulum, peran guru, dan integrasi nilai moral dalam pembelajaran. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa PAI berkontribusi signifikan dalam memperkuat karakter religius, etika sosial, dan kompetensi moral generasi Z melalui pendekatan holistik dalam pembelajaran berbasis nilai keislaman.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dasar mengenai prinsip-prinsip ekonomi syariah kepada para siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Amir Aldyn Kupang, yang merupakan generasi muda muslim yang diharapkan berkontribusi dalam pembangunan ekonomi masyarakat. Dalam era globalisasi saat ini, pemahaman terhadap prinsip ekonomi Islam menjadi penting agar siswa tidak hanya memahami aspek ekonomi konvensional, tetapi juga mampu menerapkan nilai-nilai keislaman dalam aktivitas ekonomi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui penyuluhan, diskusi interaktif, dan simulasi transaksi ekonomi syariah. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi prinsip-prinsip dasar ekonomi syariah seperti larangan riba, gharar, dan maysir, serta pentingnya zakat, infak, dan sedekah dalam pemerataan kesejahteraan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan antusiasme siswa terhadap penerapan nilai-nilai ekonomi Islam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran siswa untuk menjadi generasi yang beretika, produktif, dan berorientasi pada keberkahan dalam bidang ekonomi.

Abstract

Introducing letters to early childhood is an essential stage in developing early literacy skills and reading readiness. However, children often experience difficulties in distinguishing similar letter shapes, such as ‘b’ and ‘d’ or ‘m’ and ‘w’. This study aims to describe the improvement of letter recognition skills through the use of magnetic letter board media. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design with data collection techniques including observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed a significant improvement in children’s letter recognition ability after implementing the magnetic board media. In the first cycle, there were 3 children categorized as Very Well Developed (BSB), 4 children as Developing as Expected (BSH), 5 children as Beginning to Develop (MB), and 3 children as Not Yet Developed (BB). In the second cycle, the categories improved to 9 children (BSB), 3 children (BSH), 2 children (MB), and 1 child (BB). These findings indicate that the use of magnetic letter board media is effective in enhancing children’s letter recognition skills and in creating a more interactive and enjoyable learning environment.
