Abstract

Abstract The development of information systems cannot be separated from the rapid progress of information technology and the internet. At present, this has changed the paradigm in business processes and policy making. Higher education institutions are no exception starting to use internet-based information systems as an alternative in the process of its activities. However, only few research has discussed the effect of online academic systems on student satisfaction. This study aims to analyse the effect of system quality, information quality and online service quality siakad on student satisfaction. Data were obtained by survey method of 255 students of the Indonesian Tourism Academy (AKPINDO) Jakarta with multiple linear regression methods. The results of the study revealed that the quality of academic information systems had no effect on student satisfaction, while information quality and service quality significantly affected student satisfaction. Simultaneously the quality of the system, information and services affect the satisfaction of students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the process of making banana cake with the substitution of sugar with date juice and to determine the level of people's preference for banana cake with the substitution of date juice. The method used is the experimental method. Researchers used this method to add date juice and reduce granulated sugar. The results of the research show that the process or method for making banana cakes with date juice substitution is the same as making banana cakes in general, the only difference is that there is a date juice substitution in each dough. The test results of respondents' preferences for banana cake with date juice substitution were based on four criteria, namely aroma, color, taste and texture. In terms of aroma and taste, products with 25% substitution are preferred, while in terms of color and texture, products with 70% substitution are preferred. Improving the quality and increasing nutritional value of banana cake, such as increasing vitamins, minerals and fiber, could have positive implications for consumers looking for healthy cakes.

Abstract

The study of sports injuries is a crucial and captivating topic that requires thorough exploration. Understanding and effectively managing sports injuries is essential for coaches, instructors, and athletes. However, there is limited awareness among sports practitioners, particularly regarding flat foot conditions. Therefore, this research aims to identify common injuries among athletes with flat feet through a comprehensive survey. Employing a quantitative descriptive method with a survey-based approach. This study included a sample of 89 male athletes who sought treatment for sports-related injuries at massage clinics. Data collection techniques encompassed observations, interviews, questionnaires, and measurement tests. Purposive sampling was utilised for participant selection. Wet footprint tests, stature metres, weight scales, and questionnaires were employed for data collection. Data analysis employed the percentage formula and was supported by Excel software. The findings indicated that athletes with flat feet were more susceptible to knee injuries (69%), ankle injuries (31%), external causes of injury (22%), internal causes of injury (52%), and overuse injuries (26%). These results imply that athletes with flat feet who seek treatment at massage clinics commonly experience knee and ankle injuries, with internal trauma being the leading cause. This study contributes to a better understanding of injury identification among individuals with flat feet, aiding in the selection of appropriate sports activities. Limitations of this study include a single research site, an uneven distribution of sports disciplines, and a male-only sample. Future research should employ more comprehensive methods and ensure representative samples across various sports to facilitate proper generalisation of the data.

Abstract

Introduction: The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed the tourism industry, particularly through the implementation of smart tourism technology and the increasing influence of electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM). These digital factors are considered important in shaping tourist behavior, including Tourist Citizenship Behavior (TCB), which reflects voluntary actions such as recommending destinations, helping other tourists, and providing feedback. This study aims to examine the influence of smart tourism technology and e-WOM on TCB in the context of the Mangrove Botanical Garden Surabaya. Methods: This study employs a quantitative approach using a cross-sectional survey design. Data were collected through an online questionnaire from 382 respondents, determined using the Krejcie and Morgan sampling table. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, targeting tourists who had visited the destination and were exposed to digital tourism platforms. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS, including validity, reliability, classical assumption, and hypothesis testing. Results: The results show that smart tourism technology and e-WOM simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Tourist Citizenship Behavior (F = 77.156; p < 0.05). Partially, smart tourism technology has a positive and significant effect on TCB (β = 0.607; p < 0.05), while e-WOM has a positive but not significant effect (β = 0.228; p > 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) indicates that 61.6% of TCB is explained by the independent variables. Smart tourism technology is identified as the most dominant factor influencing TCB. Discussion: These findings highlight the critical role of smart tourism technology in enhancing tourist engagement and encouraging voluntary behaviors that support destination sustainability. While e-WOM contributes to shaping perceptions, its direct influence on behavioral outcomes is limited. The study emphasizes the importance of digital experience in fostering active tourist participation and provides insights for improving tourism management strategies in ecotourism destinations.

Abstract

Consumer behavior generally focuses on purchasing decisions, while its application to non-purchase decisions remains limited. This study examines the impact of the Part-Time Work Decision (PTWD) on Job Satisfaction (JF) and Job Stress (JS) among students working part-time. Purposive sampling selected 119 respondents, and data were analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 4. The findings show that PTWD significantly affects JF (β = 0,418; t = 5,499; p < 0,000), whereas PTWD has no significant effect on JS (β = -0,065; t = 0,473; p = 0,697). This study extends the consumer decision process to non-purchase decisions
