Abstract

Usually, the human resources in the construction world in Indonesia are in demand by men, even though the job opportunities between men and women are not that different. However, the reality is that women's resources in construction are still very few presentations. This study attempts to discuss the empowerment of women's resources in construction projects and the constraints and problems women face in construction work. To support this discussion, we conducted an electronic search for data on published literature both nationally and internationally. After the data was collected, we conducted an in-depth study under a phenomenological approach, namely an effort to find answers from several existing data. Based on the study and discussion results, we can conclude that empowering women's human resources in construction projects is a government priority stated in the employment law. However, more and more women are slowly found in construction projects with all their advantages and disadvantages. Thus, the results of this study are the basis of guidance for further studies.

Abstract

As is well known, general election activities and the election of leaders in the regions are a necessity in state activities. This activity has also been taking place in Indonesia since Indonesia proclaimed Indonesia's independence in August 1945. However, with the passage of time, this election activity is felt to have caused and/or left various conflicts that could become potential divisions, and events like this are certainly far from the spirit and ideals. the noble ideals and culture of the Indonesian nation. For this reason, this activity is intended to remind the younger generation, in this case the students of President University, to continue to uphold Indonesian local wisdom in their daily lives, including responding to various differences in daily life.

Abstract

This study discusses the understanding of public policy-making by the government to respond to the pandemic, which has given rise to many difficulties among citizens because the government has issued various policies during a multi-crisis. The author understands that every policy has taken certainly impacts policies in regular times and government policies in times of crisis; of course, the impact will be different. To strengthen our discussion, we have received support from many scientific publications we have studied in the phenomenological approach, a way to get an exceptional understanding of the existing data. Our literature search was conducted electronically on several journals and book publications that discuss issues of public policy making in response to pandemics in multi-crisis times in many application contexts. Based on the results of the study and discussion, we can summarize that in public policy-making in times of multi-crisis, the government has been faced with a dilemma between the commitment to respond to the pandemic to protect the entire nation from the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic and having to accept the consequences of policies taken in a very precarious atmosphere. Hopefully, these findings will be the subject of discussion in similar studies in the future.

Abstract

In building construction, interior wall finishing work usually uses conventional methods, namely plastering and nat grout. At Cattleya Tower Sakura Garden City Apartment, East Jakarta, the unit wall finishing uses a more modern method: Stick on wall. The Stick on wall method uses alternative finishing materials other than plaster and nat grout as a hebel wall covering made of large boards covered with thick paper which must be glued with a glue-like material to the hebel walls. The use of this method in the apartment case aims to speed up the project construction process because 90% of the units in Cattleya Tower have been sold, so the completion of the project must be realized immediately. This study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness in terms of cost and time of the Stick on wall finishing method compared to the plastering and nat grout method. By calculating using the SNI method and considering other aspects such as transportation from the supplier to the project site, it is known that wall finishing work using stick on wall is 0.74% cheaper than wall finishing work using plaster and nat grout. As for the comparison of work time, work using stick on wall is 74.58% faster than wall finishing work using plaster and nat grout with a difference in working time of 52 days.
