Abstract

The government has an important role in protecting children, which is implemented through the child-friendly district (KLA) policy. In the cluster of children's rights to education, utilization of leisure time and cultural activities, fulfillment is measured by the provision of Child Friendly Education Units (SRA) in the cities of Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the implementation of KLA policy through the provision of child-friendly education units in Bontang city and what factors can hinder and support the implementation of this policy. The research used a qualitative approach, where data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The analysis technique used is the interactive model of analysis from Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. From Van Meter and Horn's policy implementation theory, policies are influenced by policy size and objectives, resources, characteristics of implementing agents, inclination/disposition, inter-organizational communication and the social, economic, political environment. The results of this study show that the program has been running quite optimally. Quantitatively, the number of SRAs increases every year, but the quality still needs to be improved. The hope is that there are SRAs in Bontang that are standardized child-friendly from the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (Kemen PPPA). The SRA policy, which has been implemented since 2018, is encouraged by DP3AKB in collaboration with Disdikbud and Kemenag Bontang. The benefits can be felt by various stakeholders, from schools, parents, and students in efforts to prevent and handle violence that occurs in schools. The supporting factors of the SRA policy are the existing policies/legal products related to SRA, the presence of the SRA Joint Secretariat (Sekber) team, resources related to budgets in Disdikbud, facilities in education units, the presence of CSR, and the active role of parents and school committees. As for the inhibiting factors, they come from resources related to human resources and budgets in DP3AKB, the condition of the socio-economic environment of parents and educators and education personnel in the education unit, the absence of derivatives of regional regulations in the form of perwali related to SRA, inappropriate assignments, and the absence of standardized SRA.

Abstract

Contemporary companies function in a complex environment where opportunities are affordable, global markets are evolving faster than ever, and operational performance and organizational success are determined by customer-centric offerings. The motivation behind this study is to research what PT Surya's item quality means for the six sigma technique to distinguish factors that cause deformities and go to fitting lengths to work on the nature of their items. The assessment zeroed in only on the nature of elastic objects at PT Surya Teknologi Industri. Those expectations are called exceptional control. Inside the area of product development, the Six Sigma concept DMAIC (outline, measure, examine, improve and manipulate) is a method of approaches to enhance the technique that focuses on lowering operational changes and causes of failure. A non-public organisation referred to as PT. Surya Teknologi enterprise produces custom designs and plastic moulds. Consistent with the studies results, we are able to verify that the high-quality control done by way of the enterprise is good even above the sigma degree, however there are nonetheless many things that aren't true. We consider that the enterprise can improve the elements that cause defects and improve the great ofproducts produced.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of BARETA Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in the economic empowerment of the community of Tanggulangin Village, Pasuruan Regency, with a focus on the influence of management assistance, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) support, and the use of grant funds in strengthening the local economy. The method used is a qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and documentation of BUMDes administrators, village officials, and the community. The results of the study show that BUMDes BARETA plays an important role in increasing community income, creating new jobs, and encouraging the strengthening of entrepreneurship based on local potential. Synergy between BUMDes, village governments, and the private sector through Nestlé's CSR program also strengthens managerial capacity and access to capital. However, the challenges faced include limited human resources, business innovation, and financial independence. Professional and participatory management of BUMDes is the key to the sustainability of the village economy. Therefore, it is necessary to increase financial literacy, business management training, and strengthen multi-stakeholder collaboration to accelerate the sustainable economic transformation of the community at the village level.

Abstract

Indonesia is situated at the intersection of three major tectonic plates, resulting in high seismic activity and significant earthquake vulnerability.1 Rapidly determining initial earthquake parameters—including origin time, epicenter location, depth, and magnitude—is critical for effective early warning systems. This study evaluates the reliability of automated versus fast manual picking (<3 minutes, S-wave-based) by comparing their performance against final validated results. Utilizing data from the BMKG SeisComP system for the period of May 18, 2024, to May 17, 2025, the study analyzed 2,790 seismic events across Indonesia, including low-seismicity regions such as Kalimantan. Performance was assessed across six key parameters (depth, origin time, RMS, azimuth gap, magnitude, and epicenter) using a numerical scoring system (0–100) based on deviation from validated data. The results indicate that while automated picking processed a significantly higher volume of events (1,857 events; 66.6%) compared to manual picking (327 events; 11.7%) within the target timeframe, manual picking achieved a superior 'good' quality rating (score 75–100) at 96.9%, compared to 88.5% for automated methods. Nevertheless, automated picking remains the preferred method for rapid dissemination (<3 minutes) due to its operational speed. Furthermore, the study establishes regional thresholds for the minimum seismic phases required for reliable automated picking, ranging from 8 to 16 phases depending on the region, with a national average of 15 phases.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and cooperatives through public credit policies on the success of the people's economy. The background of this study is based on the strategic role of MSMEs and cooperatives in strengthening the national economy, but the effectiveness of public policy as a supporting factor still requires further study. The research method used is a quantitative method with a path analysis approach to examine the direct and indirect influences between variables. Data were obtained through a survey of MSME and cooperative actors who were the objects of the study. The results show that MSME growth has a significant direct influence on the success of the people's economy, while the indirect influence through public policy (credit) is insignificant. Meanwhile, cooperatives, either directly or through public policy, do not have a significant influence on the people's economy. These findings indicate that the success of the people's economy is still supported more by the growth of MSMEs than by cooperatives or government credit policies. In the future, similar research can expand its scope by including non-credit policy variables and a qualitative approach to provide a more comprehensive picture of the dynamics of the people's economy in Indonesia.

Abstract

Purpose – This study presents a research model focussing on the influence of drone-enabled tax monitoring on voluntary tax compliance by integrating the enforcement power, institutional trust, and governance perceptions. Design/methodology/approach – Base on a survey-based PLS-SEM technique, the study conceptualizes how drone monitoring, transparency, regulation and privacy tenets together predict trust and compliance intentions while advancing behavioral governance arguments. Findings – The results show that the use of drone technology to monitor has a significant effect on voluntary tax compliance, and this relationship is mediated by trust in tax authorities. Factors related to governance, particularly procedural transparency and regulatory clarity, impact trust and thus indirectly compliance intentions in one direction, while privacy concerns reduce trust and cooperative intentions. Perceived risk of detection increases compliance through a direct effect but not trust, reflecting constraints on deterrence in technologized enforcement environments. Originality/value – It continues to be one of the early works that introduce drone-based surveillance into tax compliance theory empirically. It builds upon the Slippery Slope Framework; showing how new surveillance technologies, in conjunction with perceived trust, legitimacy and privacy operating conditions will condition compliance behavior. Research Implications – These findings contribute to behavioral tax research by demonstrating that technological enforcement must be institutionally embedded to maintain compliance. They stress trust as a central mediating mechanism through which digital innovation is connected to cooperative taxpayer actions, providing the groundwork for purposeful digital tax governance.
