Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of public speaking skills in preparation for field experience practice programme especially prospective of Physical Education Sport & Health teachers. The field experience practices is the programme expecting to form the prospective teachers who have the competencies required to become professional Physical Education Sport & Health teachers. The method used is descriptive qualitative by conducting a study of earlier research literature with the criteria for selecting articles based on PICOT. PICOT criteria consist of population, intervention, comparison, outcome and time. The results of the study show that public speaking skills play an important role on implementation of field experience practice for mastering the class with vocals and manage the class from the opening of the lesson to the closing activity. In addition, public speaking skills are useful for other incidental activities at school. For example are leading a meeting, being an MC (master of ceremonies) at special events at school, art performances, sports championships, etc. This research concluded that the mastery of public speaking skills is very important as a prerequisite for field experience practice prospective of Physical Education Sport & Health teachers before being sent to practice school.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to find out how the commando teaching style instructional media for corner teachers. Specifically, the teacher must have the ability to develop learning strategies and be able to choose the right strategy in learning activities. Teaching style is one of the abilities that can support the teacher's ability in the learning process. Command teaching style is one of 11 teaching styles in Muska Mosston's book. The commando teaching style was the first to be introduced among the other styles, and is most often used by corner teachers. However, the teaching style of command in its implementation is not only commanding, but also there are several steps that must be fulfilled as explained by Muska Mosston. Learning media is an intermediary that can help teachers to better understand the commando teaching style.

Abstract

Physical education learning in high school during the current Covid-19 emergency, teachers have difficulty delivering material, controlling, evaluating, and providing learning feedback, especially on basic competencies that contain motion. The research objective was to improve students’ wellbeing in high school physical education learning during the Covid-19 emergency by implementing the disdcord application. Students’ wellbeing in this study, the researcher described three indicators of achievement, that is: 1) appropriateness of learning, 2) student satisfaction in learning, and 3) improved learning outcomes. The research method used was a pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test design. The population was the students of SMAN I Kota Banjarbaru class X totaling 8 classes. Two classes of samples were selected by random technique. The learning implementation instrument and student satisfaction with learning used a questionnaire with a likert scale, while for learning outcomes using a push-up test and sit-up test. The data analysis technique used the t-test sample paired test. The results of the study showed an increase in students’ wellbeing in terms of; 1) a significant increase in the implementation of learning seen from the value of the two-tailed difference test (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05, 2) a significant increase in student satisfaction in learning seen from the two-way difference test value (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05, and 3) a significant increase in student learning outcomes seen from the two-way difference test value (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05. The conclusion of the research is that the application of the discord application in learning physical education in high schools during the Covid-19 emergency improves students’ wellbeing.

Abstract

Theoretically, physical activity can improve physical fitness and cognitive functions. Students who do regular physical activity are expected to have fitness and fitness at the same time as their cognitive function grows and develops so that their academic achievement increases. Unfortunately, as technology advances and lifestyle changes, children's physical activity is decreasing. Effectiveness in achieving learning objectives continuously along with the level of student fitness and decreased cognitive function improvement. This study aims to examine the effect of daily physical activity on increasing students' fitness and academic achievement. The research method used is quasi-experimental with a matching-only design. As a sample, 30 grade 5 students of SDN Pesanggrahan I, Kwanyar, Bangkalan. The sample was divided into two groups, 15 students in the experimental group and 15 students in the control group. The treatment was given for 8 weeks with 3 meetings per week. The fitness variable was measured by a multistage fitness test, meanwhile, the academic achievement variable was measured by a series of questions prepared by the teacher. Data processing was carried out by analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) using the results of the pretest as covariates. The results showed that daily physical activity could improve physical fitness (F=45.91; p<0.01) and student academic achievement (F=7.72; p<0.01). The experimental group showed better physical fitness than the control group (F=100.91; p<0.01). The experimental group also showed better academic achievement than the control group (F=19.45; p<0.01). Based on the results of the analysis, it can be said that the application of daily physical activity for 2 months is proven to be effective in improving physical fitness and academic achievement of fifth-grade students at SDN Pesanggrahan I, Kwanyar, Bangkalan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between physical activity and nutritional status of SDN 2 Klepu students during the Covid-19 pandemic. Nutritional status and physical activity are both important factors in achieving optimal health, during a pandemic. This research uses multivariate correlational research. The purpose of correlational research is to determine the relationship between two or more variables, using purposive sampling technique, namely the technique of determining the sample with certain considerations, then the number of samples used is 36 students consisting of 14 students in class IV (four), 11 students in class V (five) and 11 students of class VI (six). As well as physical fitness tests using the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI). The research instrument used in this study was the Physical Activity Questionnare Children (PAQ-C) questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this quantitative study uses quantitative descriptive methods aligned with research variables that focus on actual problems and phenomena that occur at the present time. Based on the results of the analysis of the price of rcount = -1.761 with r(table) = 0.3338 these results mean that there is a significant relationship between physical activity and the level of physical fitness of students, the analysis of the price of rcount = 1.948 with r(table) = 0.3338, can means that there is a significant relationship between nutritional status and the level of physical fitness of students, the results of multiple regression analysis were carried out by consulting the price of Fcount 3,568 > Ftable 3,27 at a significance level of 5% and Rcount = 0.401> Rtable = 0.3338, meaning the correlation coefficient it is significant. Ha which reads "There is a significant relationship between physical activity and nutritional status with the level of physical fitness of SDN 2 Klepu students" is accepted. Other variables that can have an effect on supporting a person's physical activity such as: a healthy lifestyle, a healthy diet, regular exercise and gender, which in this study were not further elaborated because they only focused on variables of nutritional status and physical activity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of Pencak silat extracurricular management which includes Planning, Organizing, Implementation, and Supervision of SMP Negeri 19 and SMP Negeri 32 in Surabaya. The approach used in this study is qualitative. This research is a type of evaluation research using a descriptive method. The evaluation design used in this research is the SWOT analysis. The results and conclusions of this study indicate that the management of Pencak silat extracurricular at SMP Negeri 19 Surabaya is good, while SMP Negeri 32 Surabaya cannot be said to be good. Researchers have conducted a more in-depth analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of Pencak silat extracurricular management which includes Planning, Organizing, Implementation, and Supervision of SMP Negeri 19 and SMP Negeri 32 in Surabaya, resulting in a recommendation for SMP Negeri 19 Surabaya and SMP Negeri 32 Surabaya.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of PBL, PjBL, DL learning models and learning outcomes in PJOK subjects. This research was carried out in 3 schools that implemented the 2013 Curriculum with a research sample of 3 teachers and 283 students at State Vocational Schools throughout Sampang District. This research is a quantitative research with a survey design, the research sampling technique uses random sampling. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires, interview guidelines, observation sheets and cognitive tests. Data analysis used one way annova analysis and multiple linear regression through SPSS version 15. The results showed that the implementation of PBL learning for students in State Vocational High Schools in Sampang District was included in the good category with an average score of 100.8, the percentage was 69.52%; the implementation of PjBL learning for students in State Vocational High Schools throughout Sampang District is included in the good category with an average score of 96.13, the percentage is 66.30%; The implementation of DL learning for students at State Vocational Schools throughout Sampang District is included in the good category with an average score of 26.75, a percentage of 76.43%, and through multiple linear regression tests it can be concluded that the PBL, PjBL, and DL learning models of State Vocational High School students throughout -Sampang District is proven to affect learning outcomes with a contribution of 25%; R^2 = 0.250; F_table(3.279) = 26.37; p < 0.01. The conclusion is that data analysis of PJOK learning outcomes at State Vocational Schools in Sampang District using the PBL, PjBL, and DL learning models can improve student learning outcomes, as evidenced by the average PJOK score of 80, the interval score of ability to work on PTS questions for State Vocational High School students throughout -Sampang District is in the interval of 70 to 80; and completeness of classical learning outcomes above 80%. The results of the regression test also found that the PBL learning model (β = 0.389; p < 0.01) had a stronger effect on learning outcomes than the PjBL learning model (β = 0.229; p < 0.01) while the DL learning model had no significant effect on learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengembangkan instrumen penilaian kognitif berbasis google form untuk mengukur pengetahuan siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan pasmani olahraga dan kesehatan kelas VII SLTP, (2) mengetahui tingkat kelayakan pengembangan instrumen penilaian kognitif berbasis google form untuk mengukur pengetahuan siswa dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani olaharaga dan kesehatan kelas VII SLTP. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan Borg dan Gall. Ada 10 langkah dalam model pengembangan menurut Sugiyono yaitu; Namun penelitian ini hanya menggunakan 8 langkah, yakini: 1) potensi dan masalah, 2) pengumpulan data, 3) desain produk, 4) validasi desain, 5) revisi desain, 6) ujicoba produk, 7) revisi produk, 8) ujicoba pemakaian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan butir-butir soal pengetahuan siswa maka pengamatan yang dilakukan oleh dua ahli mencapai 67%. Jika dicocokkan dengan tabel kriteria kelayakan, maka skor pencapaian ini termasuk valid, kemudian berdasarkan hasil uji coba kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar terdapat 2 soal yang dikatakan tidak valid berdasarkan fungsi distraktor, sehingga berdasarkan keseluruhan soal yang dikembangkan sebanyak 150 soal yang valid hanya 106 butir soal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tentang implementasi pembelajaran  yang meliputi: perencanaan, penataan pelaksanaan, hasil program pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan (PJOK) Kelas Rangkap di Kecamatan Sukapura Kabupaten Probolinggo dengan menggunakan model evaluasi CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). (1) dalam aspek perencanaan program dengan indikator relevansi pembelajaran PJOK Kelas Rangkap dengan kurikulum 2013 berada pada kategori baik dan sudah disesuaikan dengan SE Kemendikbud No.15 Tahun 2020  pelaksanaan pendidikan dalam masa darurat Covid-19; (2) dalam aspek penataan program dengan indikator latar belakang guru dan keterlibatan siswa masuk pada kategori baik, pada indikator sarana dan prasarana berada pada kategori baik, serta pada indikator persiapan mengajar berada pada kategori baik; (3) pada aspek pelaksanaan program dengan indikator pelaksanaan pembelajaran PJOK masuk ke dalam kategori baik; (4) aspek hasil program pembelajaran dengan indikator tingkat pemahaman siswa menunjukkan siswa-siswi di setiap sekolah dominan mendapatkan nilai diatas KKM atau dapat dinyatakan lulus. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran PJOK Kelas Rangkap di Kecamatan Sukapura Kabupaten Probolinggo menunjukkan hasil yang baik.

Abstract

This study aims to identify online learning conducted by physical education teachers among public senior high schools in Surabaya. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. The population in this study are sports teachers at SMA Negeri in Surabaya. Then, the sample was taken with purposive sampling where one school selected one sports teacher only. The data collection is done online and allocated for one month, namely in the month from September 15th to October 10th, 2020. The identification stages include the evaluation of the preparation stage, the evaluation of the implementation stage, the evaluation of the assessment stage, and the evaluation of the post-learning online. The results showed that more than 52% of respondents had designed and developed RPP under the Covid-19 pandemi conditions, 100% of them "agreed" to carry out learning based on the school schedule, and all aspects of learning covering cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects had been implemented.
