Abstract

One of the uses of multimedia is to explain abstract concepts that cannot be directly observed by the five senses to be more easily understood, especially related to the concept of nuclear reactions in nuclear physics courses. This research aimed to get an overview of the mastery of the concept of nuclear reactions in students who take core physics courses and get an overview of the responses of students' perceptions of learning. The method of this research was experimental research with one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques used in this research include the mastery test, student response questionnaire, documentation and observation. Data analysis techniques include descriptive analysis of student response questionnaires about multimedia-assisted nuclear physics learning process and analysis of mastery test results of the concept of nuclear reactions in nuclear physics courses using Ngain scores. The results showed that there was an increase in mastery of the nuclear reaction concept in nuclear physics subject with score of n-gain result was 0.41 and came into medium category. The ability to master concepts includes the ability to remember, understand, apply, analyze and evaluate. Based on this description, it can be concluded that the use of multimedia can increase students’ mastery concepts of nuclear reactions concept in nuclear physics courses.

Abstract

Alternating current circuits are one of the physics taught in senior high school. Alternating current (AC) circuits are material related to mathematical equations so that to study this material students must have good mathematical abilities. This research will discuss the improvement of test results for AC circuit material, especially in the RL series, RC series, and RLC series using an alternative method in the form of the Pythagorean theorem on the impedance and voltage equations. This is because the Pythagorean theorem has a mathematical equation that is identical to the impedance and voltage equations in AC circuits. This research was conducted at SMAN 2 Jember using two classes, namely XII MIPA 5 and XII MIPA 7 classes. Based on the research that has been done, the result is an increase in test results in class XII MIPA 5 of 0.54 in the medium category and an increase in test results in class XII MIPA 7 of 0.30 in the medium category. Therefore student responses indicate that the Pythagorean theorem can attract students' interest, provide motivation with positive student responses and students are satisfied in applying it in solving AC circuit problems.

Abstract

Berpikir kritis adalah salah satu keterampilan yang harus dimiliki peserta didik pada abad 21. Penggunaan media pembelajaran berupa LKPD yang memadukan disiplin ilmu sains, teknologi, teknik, dan matematika dapat melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas LKPD berbasis STEM, mengukur keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada pokok bahasan gerak lurus dengan menggunakan media berupa LKPD, dan respon peserta didik terhadap penggunaan LKPD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis STEM sangat valid dengan nilai 90,7%, keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas X di SMA Pancasila tergolong sedang dengan nilai 58,38, dan LKPD termasuk dalam kategori menarik yang dikatahui dari respon peserta didik terhadap penggunaan LKPD berbasis STEM. Kata kunci : Berpikir kritis, LKPD berbasis STEM, Respon peserta didik.

Abstract

Central collision is one of the physics subjects taught in high school. Where this material is related to mathematical equations so that students' mathematical abilities must be good. research to study students' cognitive learning outcomes in solving central collision questions using the tabulation method. This research was conducted at MAN 1 Jember using class X MIPA 1 . Based on the research that has been done, the average value of the students' pretest before being given treatment is 30.9 and the average value of students' posttest after being given treatment is 69.2. The increase in pre-test and post-test results shows that the tabulation method can improve student learning outcomes in the central collision material with an n-gain value of 0.56 which is included in the medium category. The results of interviews related to student responses showed that the tabulation method was preferred by students, and students were satisfied in applying it in solving central collision questions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji nilai ekspetasi momentum elektron dalam atom tritium. Dari hasil perhitungan simulasi numerik didapatkan hasil perhitungan nilai ekspetasi momentum dengan variasi bilangan kuantum utama  dan interval momentum . Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ketika  dengan batas interval yang sama pada , nilai ekspetasi momentum elektron cenderung menurun seiring dengan peningkatan bilangan kuantum utama . Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi energi elektron dalam atom tritium, semakin kecil nilai ekspetasi momentumnya. Selain itu, jika dilihat dari kenaikan interval momentum, ditemukan bahwa nilai ekspetasi momentum cenderung meningkat seiring dengan peningkatan interval momentum . Penelitian ini juga membandingkan nilai ekspetasi momentum untuk setiap nilai n pada interval  yang sama, dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa semakin besar bilangan kuantum utama , semakin kecil nilai ekspetasi momentumnya. Dalam konteks ini, semakin tinggi energi elektron (nilai n) dalam atom tritium, semakin kecil nilai ekspetasi momentumnya. Temuan ini memberikan pemahaman lebih lanjut tentang hubungan antara bilangan kuantum utama, interval momentum, dan nilai ekspetasi momentum dalam konteks atom tritium.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran PBL berbantuan E-LKPD terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajarserta respon siswa setelah pembelajaran menggunakan model PBL berbantuanE-LKPD pada pokok bahasan besaran dan satuan. Jenis penelitian ini adalaheksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Jember tahunajaran 2022/2023 dengan menggunakan dua sampel penelitian yaitu kelaskontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas danjika data terdistribusi normal akan dilanjutkan dengan uji hipotesismenggunakan uji independent sampel t test, sedangkan jika data tidakterdistribusi normal maka akan dilakukan uji hipotesis menggunakan mannwhitney u. Setelah dilakukan analisis data diperoleh hasil untuk aktivitas belajardilakukan uji t dan menghasilkan signifikan sebesar 0,000 yang artinya tesdinyatakan signifikan dan untuk hasil belajar dilakukan uji mann whitney ukarena data tidak terdistribusi normal dan didapatkan hasil signifikan sebesar0,000 yang artinya tes dinyatakan signifikan. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkanterdapat pengaruh model PBL berbantuan E-LKPD terhadap aktivitas dan hasilbelajar siswa SMA pada pokok bahasan besaran dan satuan.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research with the aim of improving students' cognitive learning outcomes on alternative energy material. The subjects of this study were all 34 students of class X2 at SMAN 1 Genteng. Data collection techniques using observation methods, tests with cognitive test instruments, and documentation. Then the data was analyzed by descriptive quantitative. This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. The conclusion of this study is that the use of PBL model-based worksheets assisted by PhET simulations is proven to be effective in increasing students' cognitive learning outcomes. This is seen from the results of the average N-Gain scores in each cycle, namely I and II, which are 0.54 and 0.56. Both values ​​are included in the medium category, but there is an increase.

Abstract

Information on electron behavior in a hydrogen atom, such as electron expectation, electron probability, electron position, electron energy spectrum, etc. can be obtained through Schrodinger equation.ions are  atoms that lose   so that they become hydrogenic atoms. This research aims to determine the expectation value of electron momentum of ion in momentum space at the main quantum number  using Schrodinger equation approach. The method used in this research is literature study with non-experimental research type. The results obtained expectation value depends on the interval and the value of the quantum number. The larger the interval, the expectation value of electron momentum increases. While the greater the value of quantum numbers, the expectation value of electron momentum is getting smaller. Based on the analysis, the expectation value of electron momentum is quite varied from to . From this research, it is found that the expectation value of electron momentum is the same as the expectation value of electron position.
