Abstract

The research focused on the assembling of Concept Attainment models with Concept Mapping technique is students’ physics achievement and students’ activity. The purposes of this research are (1) to examine the difference achievement of using Concept Attainment models with Concept Mapping technique than Conventional models on learning physics, (2) to describe students’ activity using Concept Attainment models with Concept Mapping technique model in learning physic. The type of this research is experiment by using post-test only control group design. Sample of the research are X MIA 1 as an experiment class and X MIPA 2 as an control class.The techniques of data collection are observation, test,documentation, interview and portofolio. The techniques of data analysis using descriptive analysis and Independent Sample T-Test by SPSS 16 version. The result of the research are (1) students’ physics achievement acquired of analytical results Independent-Sample T-test Sig. (2-tailed) of 0,038, (2)average value students’ science activity is 83,9%. The research can be concluded that (1) there are significant difference of achievement of using Concept Attainment models with Concept Mapping technique than Conventional models on learning physics, (2) the student activity is in good criteria.

Abstract

The aimed of this research was to study the influence of think pair share model with guided note taking metode through the activity of student's and the student result in kognitif learning physics. The activity in this case was student activities during the learning process and the learning outcomes in learning physics. This research was experiment research. the research was in SMA Negeri Rambipuji. The data are collected by test, observation, interview, and documentation. to examined the hypothesis, this research used independent sample t-test using SPSS 22 . According to independent sample t-test analysis in the students activity , show that H0 is rejected, it mean that the students activity of experiment class was different with control class. The result of independent sample t-test analysis in the learning outcomes showed that H0 is rejected, it mean that the student result of experiment class was different with control class. and the kognitif learning outcomes learning physics, showed that H0 is rejected, it mean that the student activity of experiment class is different with control class. The conclusion was the think pair share model with guided note taking methode has an significance influential to the activity of student’s and the cognitive learning outcomes SMA Negeri Rambipuji. Abstract

In the process of learning science students are given the opportunity to think aboutand define the concept of its own. This had resulted in the concept of learned students tendnot to last long. So the researchers chose a learning model POE (predict-observe-explain)with the experimental method, which aimed to assess the influence of learning model POE(Predict-Observe-Explain) against the results of the experiment method accompanied bystudent learning and retention results of student learning in junior high school. The type ofthis research was experiments research with post test only control group design. Thetechnique of data collection in this research was the study results and data retention ofstudents. The data analysis techniques was using SPSS 17, student learning outcomes dataobtained value of 0.005<0,05 which show that there was a significant difference betweenthe results of science learning students in class experiments and control classroom. Whilethe value of retention in experimentsclass had increased 2.78% and the control class haddecreased 16.6%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the results of theclass experiment of very good as well as the memory of students in the class of experimentshad increase.Keywords: POE (Predict-Observe-Explain), experiment method, retention

Abstract

This research to describe the ability of students in solving National Examination Physics Senior High School problems on Magnetic Field based on Polya steps. The sample of this research using purposive sampling based on permission from school. Schools were use as research that were school A and B in Jember District by choosing one class XII to be the subject of research. The collected technique in this research used the test in the form of description, interview, and documentation. The percentage of students’s ability in solving the problem was known from the completion of the students in solving the problem on the problem solved sheet which has been based on Polya stage. The average percentage of students’s ability in solving the problem of National Examination Physics High School on Magnetic Field based on Polya stages in SMAN A, there were step of understanded the problem of 76.67%, the step of devised a plan of 22.93%, the step of carried out the plan of 53.73 %, and looked back step of 7.07%. While the average percentage of students's ability in solving the problem of National Examination Physics High School on Magnetic Field based on Polya stages in SMAN B, there were step understanded of the problem of 70.34%, the step of devised a plan of 32.00%, the step of carried out the plan of 84, 55%, and looked back step of 6.21%.Key word: Polya steps, National Examination problems, Magnetic Field, ability of students in solving problems

Abstract

Physics is one of the subjects in high school which consists of facts, concepts, principles, laws, postulates, and scientific theories and methodologies. Students consider physics to be difficult because many physics concepts are abstract and difficult to understand. In this case, learning media is needed that can be used to assist teachers in clarifying the material. The purpose of this research is to develop comic visual learning media on atomic physics material. The method used in this research is research and development. Data were obtained from validation assessments by 2 material experts and 2 media experts as well as small group trials with a sample of 10 students. This research was conducted in 2022 at SMA Negeri Klakah. The result of the research is that the visual media of physics comics in terms of the material aspect has an average validity of 3.8 with a very high feasibility category. Judging from the media aspect, the physical comic visual media has an average validity of 3.6 with a very high eligibility category. The results of the trial limited to a small group obtained an average of 3.35 in the practical category. The research concludes that based on the categories of validity and practicality, the visual media of physics comics on atomic physics material that has been developed is very feasible and practical to use in learning Atomic Physics in Class XII Senior High School.

Abstract

Relativistic energy is a material that is considered difficult by students because the general solution takes quite a long time. This is based on the results of interviews with students of SMAN Plus Sukowono. The magic number method is a method using the Pythagorean principle through special numbers that are often encountered in relativistic energy problems. The purpose of the research was to obtain data on student responses to the magic number method as an alternative solution to the relativistic kinetic energy problem that makes it easier for students to solve relativistic energy problems. The research method used by the researcher is the survey research method with descriptive analysis. The respondents used were 28 students of class XI MIPA SMAN Plus Sukowono and used an assessment instrument in the form of a response questionnaire. Student response questionnaires were compiled based on Stellen M. Chafe's theory which was based on the cognitive, affective, and conative dimensions. The results of the research on student responses to the magic number method as an alternative solution to the problem of solving relativistic kinetic energy problems obtained percentage data on the cognitive dimension of 72.93% in the positive category, the affective dimension of 80.63% in the very positive category and the cognitive dimension in 75% in the positive category. The average of the overall response dimensions is 76.19% in the positive category. This research can be concluded that the magic number method can be used in physics learning the theory of relativity.

Abstract

This research was conducted in SMAN Pakusari with the aim of knowing the effect of the guided inquiry learning model with the pictorial riddle method on learning activities and learning outcomes of high school students on the material of optical tools. The population used was all class XI in SMAN Pakusari and the selected sample are a class of XI IPA 2 and XI IPA 5 by using purposive sampling method. This research  used  pretest- posttest control group design . Data collection methods used in this research is a method of documentation, observation, and tests. The data collection instruments used were in the form of observation sheets to assess student learning activities and multiple choice tests to assess student learning outcomes. The results of the data analysis using the independent sample t-test showed the value of Sig. 2-tailed less than 0.05 (0,000 < 0.05) on student learning activity data and the independent sample t-test on learning outcomes shows sig 2.Tailed> 0.05 (0.159 > 0.05) on student learning outcomes data. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry model with the pictorial riddle method has a significant effect on the learning activities and learning outcomes of high school students.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran Collaborative Creativity berbantuan PhET Simulation terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan momentum dan impuls. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SMA di Jember pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X MIPA dengan sampel 2 kelas diantaranya sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari nilai pretest dan nilai posttest. Penelitian ini menghasilkan data rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih besar dari kelas kontrol yaitu 50,25 dan 37,42. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji T-Test untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh model pembelajaran Collaborative Creativity berbantuan PhET Simulation terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,004 < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Collaborative Creativity berbantuan PhET Simulation berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan momentum dan impuls. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran collaborative creativity; PhET simulation; hasil belajar siswa. ABSTRACTThis study aims to examine the effect of the PhET Simulation-assisted Collaborative Creativity learning model on student learning outcomes on the subject of momentum and impulse. This research was conducted at Ambulu Public High School in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. This type of research is an experimental research with a pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects in this study were students of class X MIPA with a sample of 2 classes including the experimental class and the control class. Data collection was obtained from the pretest and posttest scores. This study resulted in the average data of student learning outcomes in the experimental class which was greater than the control class, namely 50.25 and 37.42. The data was then analyzed using the T-Test test to determine whether there was an effect of the PhET Simulation-assisted Collaborative Creativity learning model on students' physics learning outcomes. Based on the results of the analysis, obtained a significance value of 0.004 <0.05, so it can be concluded that learning by applying the Collaborative Creativity learning model assisted by PhET Simulation has an effect on student learning outcomes on the subject of momentum and impulse. Keywords: collaborative creativity learning model; PhET simulation; learning outcomes.

Abstract

ABSTRAKFisika merupakan ilmu pengetahuan yang berperan penting dalam berkembangnya teknologi. Kemampuan siswa sendiri tidak hanya dinilai dari seberapa hafal siswa pada materi, namun juga kemampuan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep yang telah diajarkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman konsep siswa SMA kelas XII di Jember pada materi spektrum atom. Sehingga dapat diketahui tingkat pemahaman konsep peserta didik serta kemampuan untuk menyelesaikan persoalan materi spektrum atom. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Uji coba instrumen tes yang dilakukan di kelas XII MIPA beberapa sekolah, yaitu SMAN 2 Tanggul, SMAN 1 Tanggul, dan SMAN 3 Jember. Tes pemahaman konsep dibuat dalam format google formulir yang disebarkan kepada peserta didik dengan bantuan guru pengampu mata pelajaran fisika kelas XII MIPA dengan jumlah 100 peserta didik. Tes pemahaman konsep dibuat dalam format google formulir yang disebarkan kepada peserta didik dengan bantuan guru pengampu mata pelajaran fisika kelas XII MIPA. Hasil rata rata yang didapatkan oleh peserta didik adalah sebesar 57,8% sehingga dapat dikategorikan bahwa peserta didik yang menjawab benar setiap pertanyaan memiliki kemampuan pemahaman konsep yang sedang. Pemahaman konsep tertinggi siswa yakni pada proses mencontohkan dengan persentase 64,5%. Sedangkan pemahaman konsep terendah yakni menafsirkan dengan persentase 54,5 %. Kata kunci: spektrum atom; pemahaman konsep. ABSTRACTPhysics is a science that plays an important role in the development of technology. The ability of students themselves is not only judged by how memorized the students are in the material, but also the ability of students to understand the concepts that have been taught. This study aims to analyze the understanding of the concept of class XII high school students in Jember on the atomic spectrum material. So that it can be seen the level of understanding of students' concepts and the ability to solve atomic spectrum material problems. The research method used is a survey with a quantitative approach. The test instrument trials were carried out in class XII MIPA in several schools, namely SMAN 2 Tanggul, SMAN 1 Tanggul, and SMAN 3 Jember. The concept understanding test was made in a google form format which was distributed to students with the help of a physics teacher for class XII MIPA with a total of 100 students. The concept understanding test was made in a google form format which was distributed to students with the help of a physics class XII MIPA teacher. The average result obtained by students is 57.8% so that it can be categorized that students who answer correctly each question have moderate conceptual understanding abilities. The students' highest concept understanding is in the process of giving examples with a presentationof 64.5%. Abstract

Research development designed to produce the product in the form of module science middle school based contextual accompanied concept mapping.This study attempts to: (1) described the validity of module, (2) described the effectiveness of module, and (3) described a response to module students. Design development use is 4-D. The research was conducted in SMP Negeri 2 Page .The result of research is: (1) validation experts and validation users are 80,5 % and 89,12 %. As a result validation, the research and users have produced module with the validity valid and worth trying out; (2) effectiveness module get result 93,6 %, the effectiveness of module high with the effectiveness very effective; and (3) response students are positive for every aspect response to the survey. The conclusion of analysis results in module science middle school based contextual accompanied concept mapping is valid and can be used in learning
