Abstract

One branch of physics is mechanics. Based on interviews to Senior High School teacher in Jember, mechanics is difficult to learn. The eksternals factor this chapter is dificult to learn is learning Resources. The learning Resources are often less contextuall with around the phenomenon of students. The contextuall learning Resources in the Jember Regency is study of kynematics and dynamics in the traffic of Rembangan Tourism. From this experiment, we get data can be used as a learning resources chapter uniform rectilinear motion, decelerated uniform rectilinear motion, accelerated uniform rectilinear motion, Newton’s Law, and circular motion.

Abstract

This study describes the learning by using the model with LKS jurisprudential inquiry-beside multi-representation. This study aims to determine the Jurisprudential inquiry learning model with LKS multi-representation the kinematics of rectilinear motion of matter in the high school. This research uses a descriptive method of qualitative research. The from data describing critical reviews written by experts from a documentation, interviews, proceedings or reference book and then the data is analysed as a clarification process and data grouping. The results showed that the jurisprudential inquiry learning model with LKS Multipresentasi on the material kinematics of rectilinear motion in high school can make learning more effective because students gain experience learned directly so that students understand the concept easily, it can improve learning outcomes and skills the ability of scientific process skill of the students.

Abstract

This study aims to review the dynamics of the fluid in the flow Damarwulan waterfall as material to design student worksheets in physics high school. This type of research is descriptive. The results showed that the water flow speed in the cross sectional area of 7,167 cm2 and 2,876.2 cm2 was 4.7 cm/s and 14.1 cm/s. Measurements on another stream with a cross sectional area of 4,752 cm2 and 1,697.5 cm2 current rate is 9.4 cm/s and 28.2 cm/s. While the water flow speed in the waterfall show at a height of 5.49 m and 3.01 m is 10.37 m/s and 7.68 m/s. The density rate waterfall A and B of 1.05 m3/s and 0.78 m3/s so potential micro hydro generated is 56,866.765 W and 23,117.44 W. The results of research conducted that data in accordance with the theory, so can be used as the material for designing student worksheets for learning physics in high school.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan pemahaman konsep materi fisika model atom yang telah dipelajari sebelumnya berdasarkan tujuh indikator pemahaman konsep Anderson dengan subjek 50 siswa kelas XII MAN 1 Banyuwangi dan 50 siswa kelas XII MAN 3 Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data secara langsung dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes pemahaman konsep berupa 14 butir soal yang disusun berdasarkan tujuh indikator pemahaman konsep Anderson yang sebelumnya telah divalidasi oleh validator. Langkah dalam menganalisis data hasil penelitian yaitu dengan menggunakan rumus persentase deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MAN 3 Banyuwangi unggul dalam nilai rata-rata dengan persentase sebesar 63,3%. Pada 7 indikator pemahaman konsep, MAN 1 Banyuwangi unggul pada indicator Interpretting, Infering, dan Comparing dengan persentase berturut-turut sebesar 33%, 54%, dan 47%. MAN 3 Banyuwangi unggul pada indikator Classifying, Exemplifying, Explaining, dan Summarizing dengan persentase berturut-turut sebesar 61%, 89%, 80%, dan 70%. Hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan menunjukkan rata-rata kategori rendah. Dengan demikian, maka diperlukan upaya yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa seperti penggunaan media pembelajaran.   Kata  kunci: Model Atom, Pembelajaran Fisika, Pemahaman Konseptual   ABSTRACT   This study aims to compare the understanding of the concept of atomic model physics material that has been studied previously based on seven indicators of Anderson's concept understanding with the subject of 50 students of class XII MAN 1 Banyuwangi and 50 students of class XII MAN 3 Banyuwangi. This study uses a survey method by collecting and analyzing data directly with data collection techniques using a concept understanding test in the form of 14 questions that are arranged based on seven indicators of Anderson's concept understanding which have been previously validated by the validator. The step in analyzing the research data is by using the descriptive percentage formula. The results showed that MAN 3 Banyuwangi excels in the average value with a percentage of 63.3%. In 7 indicators of concept understanding, MAN 1 Banyuwangi excels in indicators Interpreting, Inferring, and Comparing with percentages of 33%, 54%, and 47% respectively. MAN 3 Banyuwangi excels in indicators Classifying, Exemplifying, Explaining, and Summarizing with percentages of 61%, 89%, 80%, and 70% respectively. The results of the research as a whole show the average category is low. Thus, efforts are needed that can improve students' understanding of concepts such as the use of learning media.   Keywords: Atomic model, Concept understanding, Physics Learning

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Besaran fisika dapat berpengaruh baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung terhadap keberlangsungan hidup makhluk hidup baik di darat maupun di air, termasuk pada budidaya ikan lele. Jika kualitas air selalu berubah-ubah atau tidak stabil, maka dapat berpengaruh buruk terhadap kondisi ikan seperti stres, sakit atau kematian jika tidak dapat beradaptasi terhadap perubahan yang terjadi. Suhu dan pH air merupakan dasar selain dari beberapa parameter lainnya yang digunakan untuk menjaga kualitas air kolam agar tetap sehat. Termometer dan pH meter dalam penggunaannya harus melakukan pengukuran langsung ke lokasi untuk mengetahui nilai pH dan suhu dari air kolam. Sehingga diperlukan alat monitoring pH dan suhu dengan pemanfaatan IoT yang dapat memberikan efisiensi waktu dalam melakukan pemantauan kualitas air kolam secara real time tanpa harus datang langsung ke lokasi untuk mengefisiensi waktu. Sensor yang digunakan adalah sensor pH dan sensor DS18B20. Serta menggunakan NodeMCU ESP8266 yang merupakan mikrokontroler yang telah dilengkapi oleh module WiFi ESP8266 di dalamnya. Hasil pengujian sensor pH dengan besar nilai R square = 0,909, sedangkan pada sensor suhu menghasilkan nilai R square = 0,911. Ini menunjukkan bahwa kedua sensor memiliki tingkat kevalidan alat adalah sangat valid.   Kata  kunci— monitoring, pH, suhu, sensor pH, sensor DS18B20   ABSTRACT   Physical quantities effect things survive either in the land or water, such catfish cultivation. Unstable water quality change can impact the fish condition, such as being sick, stressed or died. Those conditions happen when the fishes can not adopt with the condition change. Water’s temperature and pH are the basic part is used to keep catfish pool water quality. Thermometer and pH meter had to be tested in the real location to analyse the pool’s water pH and termperature condition. pH and temperature monitoring tool based on IoT is needed to give efficient time in controlling water quality. Sensors used is pH and DS18B20 sensors. NodeMCU ESP8266 is used as microcontroller by WiFi ESP8266 module help. The R squere of pH sensors testing result is for 0,909. Beside, the R squere of temperature sensor is for 0,911. The result shows that both sensors have a very good validity score.   Keywords— monitoring, pH, temperature, pH sensors, DS18B20

Abstract

The use of instructional media is very necessary in learning physics, because many abstract phenomena and natural phenomena are difficult to understand both by students without the right means. Sound wave material which is dominated by theories and concepts requires a learning media that packs concepts to be effective and improves students' problem solving abilities. Problem solving ability is one of the goals of forming 21st century skills. The times have also brought progress in education, including interactive multimedia-based learning media such as web-based learning media such as Google sites. This study aims to determine the application of learning media based on google sites web-based learning media, the subject of sound waves to improve students' ability to solve physics problems. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative with the research design of MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle). The research subjects were 31 students at XI MIPA 1 MAN 1 Situbondo. Web-based learning media google sites is declared effective in improving students' problem-solving skills if they meet the criteria for the average level of effectiveness of the n-gain score. The n-gain data was obtained through the students' pretest and posttest scores, and the average pre-test score was 59.35 and the post-test average score was 76.74. While the average percentage of N-gain is 44.03% which states the medium category, meaning that the developed web learning media can improve the problem solving ability of physics students. The student response questionnaire after using the media is in the very good category, with the average percentage of student responses to the learning media that has been given which is 82%. The results of these data indicate that the learning media has an attractive design for students and easy operation. So it can be concluded that the google sites web-based learning media with the subject of sound waves meets the criteria of a good learning media and is able to improve students' problem solving skills at MAN 1 Situbondo

Abstract

This research was conducted in SMAN Pakusari with the aim of knowing the effect of the guided inquiry learning model with the pictorial riddle method on learning activities and learning outcomes of high school students on the material of optical tools. The population used was all class XI in SMAN Pakusari and the selected sample are a class of XI IPA 2 and XI IPA 5 by using purposive sampling method. This research  used  pretest- posttest control group design . Data collection methods used in this research is a method of documentation, observation, and tests. The data collection instruments used were in the form of observation sheets to assess student learning activities and multiple choice tests to assess student learning outcomes. The results of the data analysis using the independent sample t-test showed the value of Sig. 2-tailed less than 0.05 (0,000 < 0.05) on student learning activity data and the independent sample t-test on learning outcomes shows sig 2.Tailed> 0.05 (0.159 > 0.05) on student learning outcomes data. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry model with the pictorial riddle method has a significant effect on the learning activities and learning outcomes of high school students.

Abstract

Pembelajaran daring membuat siswa kurang dalam memahami konsep materi fisika, sehingga hasil belajar semakin rendah. Solusi alternatif untuk mengatasi hasil belajar yang rendah yaitu menggunakan media pembelajaran PhET Simulation yang menampilkan informasi tentang konsep fisika yang cukup lengkap. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengkaji motivasi belajar dan mengkaji pengaruh media PhET Simulation terhadap hasil belajar fisika pada siswa SMK. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Kertosono pada murid kelas X. Penentuan sampel memakai metode cluster random sampling sehingga mendapatkan dua kelompok yaitu X TPM 3 selaku kelompok kontrol dan X TOI selaku kelompok eksperimen dengan jumlah di kedua kelas terdapat 70 siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pretest-posttest control group design dengan teknik perolehan data pretest dan posttest berupa soal pilihan ganda beralasan, observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan angket. Data analisis yang didapatkan menggunakan uji statistik yang diantaranya uji normalitas dan uji independet sample t-test adalah terdistribusi normal dan nilai signifikan kurang dari taraf signifikan sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan penggunaan media pembelajaran PhET Simulation terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa. Data hasil analisis motivasi belajar diperoleh interpretasi sangat kuat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh media video animasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMA. Jenis penelitian ini yakni true experiment dengan desain penelitian “pretest-posttest control group design”. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 2 Jember pada semester ganjil TA. 2022/2023. Sampel penelitian yakni X.3 selaku kelas kontrol dan X.4 selaku kelas eksperimen. Pada kelas kontrol dilaksanakan pembelajaran seperti yang biasa diajarkan di sekolah, sedangkan pada kelas eksperimen dilaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakan media video animasi. Teknik analisis data memakai uji homogenitas, uji normalitas, uji independent sample t-test. Hasil analisis data hasil belajar siswa didapat nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,004 < 0,05 dengan demikian Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak yang berarti terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan dari nilai rataan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwasanya penggunaan media video animasi berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Cooperative learning is a learning model that involves students to be able to actively participate in the learning process through the formation of small groups. One type of cooperative learning model is the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) type. This study aimed to determine the effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model on physics learning outcomes of grade X students at SMK 5 Jember. This research is included in experimental research. The research design used was a post test only design. Data analysis technique used independent sample t-test (parametric test) and one way anova. The results showed that the significant value of the independent sample t-test was 0,000 (α<0,05) which means that the average physics scores of the experimental class students were greater than control class students. Thus, the STAD type cooperative learning model has a significant effect on learning outcomes in physics at SMK 5 Jember.
