Abstract

Perpustakaan modern berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan masyarakat. Untuk mengoptimalkan pengelolaan dan pelayanan, diperlukan peramalan jumlah pengunjung perpustakaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) dengan prosedur iteratif untuk menangani data yang mengandung outlier. Model terbaik yang diperoleh adalah ARIMA(0,1,2) dengan nilai Mean Squared Error (MSE) sebesar 149404,2 dan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) sebesar 21,63%, yang menunjukkan bahwa akurasi peramalan masih dalam batas wajar. Hasil peramalan menunjukkan jumlah pengunjung cenderung stabil dengan rata-rata 877 pengunjung per minggu, namun interval kepercayaan yang semakin lebar mengindikasikan meningkatnya ketidakpastian dalam prediksi. Prosedur iteratif dalam deteksi outlier terbukti efektif dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengoreksi pencilan, sehingga meningkatkan akurasi model. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan eksplorasi model alternatif seperti ARIMAX atau metode machine learning untuk menangkap pola yang lebih kompleks dan meningkatkan akurasi peramalan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that influence business success among business people in the era of disruption. In this era, rapid changes in technology, business models and consumer preferences have created an unstable and uncertain environment for business people. Through a comprehensive literature review, this research identifies several key factors that are relevant in the context of business success in the era of disruption. These factors include technological innovation and adaptation, managerial capabilities that are responsive to change, strong customer orientation, digital skills, and speed and flexibility in dealing with business changes. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, a type of literature study which aims to describe the results of the researchers' findings on several journal articles found. The results of this research reveal that the factors that influence business success among business people in the era of disruption are interrelated and have a significant impact. Technological innovation and adaptation have proven to be important elements in creating competitive advantage. Apart from that, responsive managerial abilities, strong customer orientation, developed digital skills, and the ability to adapt to business changes quickly and flexibly are also key factors in achieving business success in the era of disruption. This research contributes to the understanding of the factors that influence business success among business people in the era of disruption

Abstract

Purchasing or using goods or services solely to satisfy desires and needs without considering the benefits and needs is known as consumerism. The research is aimed at testing and analyzing several variables of consumer behavior, including family social and economic status, peer groups, and economic literacy. Quantitative methods are used, and data is collected through observations, questionnaires, and documentation. This research involved a sample of 80 students. Double linear regression is used to analyze data. The results of the study showed that the socio-economic status of the family has a positive and significant impact on the consumer behavior of the students; the factors of the peer group have a positive impact as well as a significant influence on the student's consumptive behavior; and the economic literacy factors have a negative impact that significantly influences the students' consumer behavior.

Abstract

In today's Times full of opportunities and obstacles, entrepreneurial motivation is an important component of successful entrepreneurial development. This study aims to analyze how the role of entrepreneurial creativity serves as a moderator variable against entrepreneurial motivation among millennials in Makassar (Tamalanrea district) by analyzing the role of growth mindset, self-efficacy, and social support. The research methodology used is descriptive research combined with quantitative research methods. A total of 317 millennials in the city of Makassar became a sample of the study. Analysis of the data using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). The results obtained are growth mindset, self-efficacy, and social support have a direct and significant effect on entrepreneurial motivation. Entrepreneurial creativity has a significant effect on entrepreneurial motivation. Growth mindset, self-efficacy, and social support significantly influence entrepreneurial creativity. Entrepreneurial creativity was able to mediate the relationship of growth mindset to entrepreneurial motivation, and mediate the relationship of self-efficacy and social support to entrepreneurial motivation.

Involving monetary consideration as a mediator variable, this study expects to decide what financial technology and financial literacy affect the culinary business performance in Makassar's Rappocini Region. Perceptions, interviews, and the conveyance of surveys to 120 respondents-an example looked over the current populace were utilized to gather information for the review. This study fits the portrayal of a quantitative illustrative review. Abstract

The research was aimed to improving the students’ Pronunciation ability, particularly vowel and consonant sounds in speaking by using Tell Me More (TMM) at Second Year Students of SMA Negeri 5 Barru. The method of this research was quasi experimental. It was consisted with two classes, namely experimental class and control class by used purposive sampling. The number of sample selected was 60 students. The data were obtained through pronunciation test. The result of this research, the researcher found: 1. the significant difference between the students who are taught consonant by using Tell Me More (TMM) and the students who are taught by using discussion method in teaching and learning pronunciation. Where 5.15 in pre-test to be 6.56 in post-test and control class was 4.83 in pre-test to be 5.53 in post-test. 2. The significant difference between the students who are taught vowel by using Tell Me More (TMM) and the students who are taught by using discussion method in teaching and learning pronunciation. Where 7.43 in pre-test to be 8.15 in post-test and in control class was 6.89 in pre-test to be 7.51 in post-test.

Abstract

This mixed-methods study investigates the strategies employed by EFL teachers in integrating Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into their teaching practices within a regional public high school in Indonesia. By employing a combination of qualitative and quantitative data collection methods, the study draws upon a sample of teachers' perspectives via structured interviews and questionnaire responses. The English teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Maros were involved as the subject of the Research. The findings reveal that teachers utilize a range of ICT tools, such as LCD/LED projectors, PowerPoint presentations, audio-visual technologies, and radio broadcasts, with the primary aim of enhancing teaching efficacy and student engagement. The data suggests that the use of ICT significantly influences student comprehension and learning outcomes, with pupils demonstrating an accelerated understanding of material when taught via ICT-based methodologies. Therefore, the study provides valuable insights into the role of ICT in English language teaching in Indonesia, particularly shedding light on teachers' ICT utilization strategies and the impacts on student learning outcomes. These findings may inform future policy and practice in education, potentially guiding initiatives for ICT integration in the wider context of language education.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru dalam mengenal kondisi lingkungan yang berpotensi sebagai habitat perkembangbiakan nyamuk Aedes aigypti di lngkungan sekolah dan meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan guru-guru dalam merancang dan memasang alat ovitrap dan larvitrap dengan tepat yang dapat diajarkan kepada siswa-siswanya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa pelatihan pembuatan Ovitrap dan larvitrap untuk memutus siklus hidup nyamuk Aedes bagi guru-guru SD di Kecamatan Poasia Kota Kendari telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 19 Oktober 2024 yang melibatkan 5 orang dosen dan 6 orang mahasiswa dari FMIPA UHO. Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan pemasangan di lingkungan sekolah masing-masing. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan tersebut telah meningkatkan kemampuan dalam mengenal berbagai factor penyebab kasus demam berdarah dan terampil dalam membuat ovitrap dan larvitrap sebagai sarana yang tepatbdalam menurunkan populasi nyamuk vector demam berdarah. Kata kunci : Demam berdarah dengue (DBD), Aedes aegypti, Larvi trap. ABSTRACT This community service activity aims to increase teachers' understanding of environmental conditions that have the potential to become breeding habitats for the Aedes aigypti mosquito in the school environment and improve teachers' abilities and skills in designing and installing ovitrap and larvitrap equipment appropriately which can be taught to their students. Community service activities in the form of training in making Ovitrap and larvitrap to break the life cycle of the Aedes mosquito for elementary school teachers in Poasia District, Kendari City were carried out on October 19, 2024 involving five lecturers and six students from FMIPA UHO. The activity continued with installation assistance in each school environment. The evaluation results show that the training has improved the ability to recognize various factors that cause cases of dengue fever and skills in making ovitraps and larvitraps as appropriate means of reducing the population of dengue vector mosquitoes. Abstract

Kegiatan  pengabdian  pada  masyarakat  melalui  Pengabdian  Program  Kemitraan  Masyarakat  Internal Universitas  Halu  Oleo  (PKMI  UHO)  ini  dilaksanakan  dalam  bentuk  pelatihan/workshop  dan  bimbingan teknis serta pendampingan  metode/cara dalam perencanaan berbasis data.  Berdasarkan permasalahan dan justifikasi program PKMI bersama Mitra, yaitu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Negeri 4 Kendari, maka solusi yang dilakukan adalah memberikan pendampingan berbasis data. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah agar semakin banyak dunia  pengelola  pendidikan  yang  memahami  rapor  pendidikan,  sehingga  mampu mengidentifikasi  permasalahan,  mencari  akar  masalah,  dan  memberikan  solusi  penyelesaian  masalah melalui  Perencanaan  Berbasis  Data.  Melalui  kegiatan  ini,  diharapkan  SMK  Negeri  4  Kendari  dapat meningkatkan  mutu  pendidikan  dan  melaksanakan  program  "link  and  match"  dengan  industri  sebagai langkah dalam menciptakan lulusan yang kompeten dan siap kerja. Workshop ini menjadi langkah penting bagi penguatan soft skill guru serta keterampilan teknis dalam merencanakan program pendidikan yang lebih berkualitas dan berorientasi pada data. Masalah yang didapatkan di lapangan adalah masih minimnya pengetahuan  guru  dalam  hal  pengolahan  data  dengan  software.  Dengan  pelaksanaan  Workshop  ini diharapkan  untuk  menambah  ilmu  pengetahuan  dan  memberi  arahan  ataupun  hal  terkait  dengan Perencanaan Berbasis Data demi untuk penguatan soft skill guru, operator, dan yang berkepentingan.Kata Kunci: Basis data, Rapor Pendidikan, Service Learning, Soft skill, dan Workshop.

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis artikel penelitian merupakan keterampilan penting yang perlu dimiliki mahasiswa dalam dunia akademik. Namun, banyak mahasiswa yang masih menghadapi kendala dalam menuangkan hasil penelitiannya ke dalam bentuk tulisan ilmiah yang layak publikasi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menulis artikel penelitian melalui pelatihan bertajuk “From Idea to Publication.” Peserta kegiatan berjumlah 35 mahasiswa semester 5 Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah interaktif, praktik penulisan, penggunaan aplikasi pengelola referensi Zotero, dan pendampingan penyusunan artikel. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata kemampuan menulis ilmiah sebesar 35% berdasarkan perbandingan hasil pre-test dan post-test. Sebanyak 30 peserta berhasil menghasilkan draf artikel penelitian yang sesuai dengan struktur penulisan ilmiah. Selain itu, terbentuk komunitas Young Research Writer Club sebagai wadah keberlanjutan kegiatan. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam menumbuhkan budaya publikasi ilmiah di kalangan mahasiswa serta mendukung pencapaian indikator kinerja utama perguruan tinggi dalam peningkatan luaran akademik mahasiswa.
