Abstract

The background of this research is the frequent occurrence of LPG gas leaks where when it occurs, no one is at home so that no one can close or disconnect the gas line. This can trigger a fire or the gas will run out wasted. Based on this background, the purpose of this research is to design a gas leak prevention system that can be connected to a smartphone. By using experimental research, namely system design and manufacturing of tools as research media, the authors created an internet-based LPG gas leak detection system of things. The data was obtained by means of library research, namely collecting references from various sources related to the research being carried out, and measuring the output on the device made of several components, namely MQ2 to detect gas ppm, load cell to read gas weight, buzzer to notify gas leaks, and servo motor to remove the gas regulator as well as the interconnection in the application (regulator safety). The parameters used for analysis are the ppm value for detecting gas leaks, the weight of gas cylinders, notifications and monitoring of gas leaks in applications. The results showed that from the data from the black box test results obtained which showed the performance of the tool was working properly, and on testing each component it also showed that it had worked according to its function, and testing on applications could bring up gas leak notifications as well as monitoring ppm and gas weight . Based on the overall system testing, it can be concluded that the tool made, namely the internet of things based LPG gas leak detection system, is running well.

Abstract

This community service aims to enhance the capacity of teachers at Alazhar Asyarif North Sumatra's elementary, junior high, and Madrasah Aliyah schools in scientific writing and book authoring. The training is designed to equip teachers with the necessary knowledge and skills to produce high-quality scientific papers and to create books that can be used as teaching materials. The methods used in this training include presentations, interactive discussions, and hands-on practice. The results of the training indicate an improvement in teachers' understanding and skills in writing scientific papers and books, as well as a strong motivation to continue developing these competencies.

Abstract

Electric Power Distribution System Learning has demands for learning outcomes so that students understand the concept, and have basic knowledge and skills in various constructions of electric power distribution networks. This requires varied and more contextual learning methods and requires contextual learning media as well. The learning media used should be able to provide real experiences for students in simulating the electric power distribution system according to the concepts they are learning. However, the ability of students in the configuration of various distribution networks has problems because there is no suitable learning media. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a valid power distribution system trainer for use in learning. This study aims to produce a valid electric power distribution system trainer. This type of research is research & development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. Research is limited to the development stage (development). The validation test was carried out by 4 validators using an instrument in the form of a validation sheet. The results of the validation show that the electric power distribution system trainer developed is in the valid category, both for content quality aspects and objectives, instructional, and technical. This indicates that the trainer developed is appropriate for use in learning in order to test its effectiveness.

Abstract

The lack of cross-border insolvency regulation in Indonesia is an issue that hasn't been resolved until now. Borderless business patterns that developed continuously resulted in the promulgation of cross-border insolvency regulations becoming increasingly urgent. Even more, Indonesia as a member state of ASEAN must be fully aware that currently there is a process of economic integration in ASEAN as outlined in the ASEAN Economic Community Blueprint. In consequence, harmonious cross-border insolvency regulations are needed. Philippines, Singapore, and Myanmar already had cross-border insolvency regulation through the adoption of the UNCITRAL Model Law on Cross-border Insolvency while Indonesia still stuck to territorialism approach, not only in cross border insolvency proceeding, but also in civil proceedings in general. Indonesia has to synchronize civil code, civil procedural code, international civil code, and bankruptcy code to create legal certainty in bankruptcy law system. Therefore, in this article writing, there are several approaches that will be used, namely the comparative approach and statutory approach, with the research method of normative juridical. The objectives to be achieved in this article are to construct the lack of cross-border insolvency regulation in Indonesia and to describe cross-border insolvency regulation and practices in Philippines, Singapore, and Myanmar. At the end of this article, there is a recommendation to the Indonesian Government to immediately regulate cross-border insolvency in Indonesia, either by adoption of Model Law or by mutual agreement with certain countries.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of well water in Ujung Gurun Village, Padang City and the factors that influence it. The research method used is quantitative research by utilizing primary data taken from several well samples in the area. The parameters tested include pH, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), iron (Fe), manganese, and lead.The results showed that most of the water quality parameters have met the requirements, except for the iron (Fe) content which is in the range of 1.7 to 7.5 Mg/L, exceeding the set limit. Overall, the quality of well water in Ujung Gurun Village is quite good, but further processing is needed to reduce the iron content to comply with the applicable regulations.The factors that affect the water quality in this area are poor and clogged drainage, as well as the possibility of seawater intrusion. Improvement and maintenance of the drainage system as well as appropriate water treatment need to be carried out to improve the quality of well water in Ujung Gurun Village, Padang City.

Abstract

Abstrak Masalah persaingan di dalam dunia usaha menuntut para pelaku usaha untuk terus berinovasi mengembangkan produknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan: 1) Permasalahan persaingan pasar yang semakin ketat mengharuskan para pengusaha memiliki strategi pemasaran yang tepat, 2) Tuntutan kegiatan pemasaran agar lebih efektif dan efisien agar memiliki usaha yang lebih baik 3) Mengetahui ide inovasi kreatif pada UMKM Toko Bangunan Mandala dengan metode kualitatif. Objek di dalam penelitian ini adalah Toko Bangunan (TB) Mandala. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan penelitian kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara. Untuk mengetahui strategi pemasaran UMKM Toko Bangunan Mandala digunakan analisis SWOT yang meliputi analisis terhadap empat aspek, yaitu Kekuatan, Kelemahan, Peluang dan Ancaman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penetapan aspek analisa SWOT pada UMKM Toko Bangunan Mandala. Aspek kekuatan pada TB Mandala adalah lokasi strategis, produk berkualitas, harga kompetitif, dan persediaan cukup. Aspek kelemahan yang dijumpai adalah ketatnya persaingan, fluktuasi harga bahan, dan ketergantungan pada musim. Aspek peluang pada TB Mandala adalah pertumbuhan industri konstruksi dan ekspansi kategori produk. Aspek ancaman meliputi persaingan yang ketat dan perubahan teknologi. Abstract

The development of online media training for digital marketing training for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Medan aims to increase understanding and skills in digital marketing strategies to improve competitiveness and business sustainability in the digital era. The advantages of online media training include ease of access, cost efficiency, and scalability that allows reaching more participants simultaneously. The implementation of online media training is expected to increase participants' knowledge and skills, improve the quality of SME products and services, and increase the effectiveness of digital marketing. The research findings show that online media training provides benefits in improving the competitiveness and business growth of SMEs in Medan. Recommendations include wider promotion, periodic evaluation, development of relevant content, and expert involvement to continue to enhance the positive contribution of online media training in improving SMEs' competencies in digital marketing.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui perkembangan nilai tukar petani padi, luas panen, inflasi dan nilai tukar rupiah di Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Kemudian untuk mengetahui pengaruh luas panen padi, inflasi dan nilai tukar rupiah terhadap nilai tukar petani padi di provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan nilai tukar petani padi memiliki tren penurunan, perkembangan luas panen memiliki tren stabil, dan nilai tukar rupiah memiliki tren yang meningkat sedangkan perkembangan inflasi memiliki tren yang berfluktuasi. Hasil regresi menunjukkan bahwa nilai adjusted R-Square adalah sebesar 0.228 yang artinya bahwa pengaruh variabel bebas (luas panen padi, inflasi dan nilai tukar rupiah) terhadap nilai tukar petani padi sebesar 22 % sedangkan 78% lagi dipengaruhi variable lain. Secara serempak semua variable bebas berpengaruh terhadap nilai tukar petani padi. Dan secara parsial variabel luas lahan, dan nilai tukar rupiah berpengaruh, sedangkan variabel inflasi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap nilai tukar oetani padi di provinsi Kalimantan Barat.

Abstract

Persoalan umat Islam saat ini sangat tertinggal karena ketidakmanpuan mereka untuk memaknai warisan dan modernitas. Seiring berkembangnya sebuah zaman di era Islam, warisan dan modernitas terkait pemikirannya juga ikut andil dalam perkembangan tersebut. Banyak dari para tokoh yang sudah memberikan sebuah solusi untuk masalah yang terjadi saat ini, salah satunya yaitu Muhammad Abied al-Jabiri. Beliau adalah seorang pemikir yang berusaha untuk menjawab masalah kontemporer saat ini dengan tawaran-tawaran yang ingin dia berikan terhadap masyarakat. Dalam penelitian ini akan mengkaji bagaimana pentingnya sebuah warisan dan modernitas untuk menjawab sebuah problematika di Islam kontemporer saat ini. Metode dalam penulisan ini adalah deskriptif analisis, mengumpulkan berbagai informasi dari buku dan jurnal yang membahas masalah kontemporer, selanjutnya peneliti menggunakan pendekatan normatif dan sosio-historis. Digunakannya kedua pendekatan ini untuk menghidupkan kembali sebuah kemodernan Islam dengan cara menggali nilai-nilai progresif didalam warisan sehaluan dengan modernitas, kemudian dalam hal tersebut mampu untuk memahami sebuah warisan dan cara untuk menyikapi modernitas.Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah al-Jabiri menawarkan sebuah epistimologi filsafat ilmu. Dengan hal tersebut akan membantu masyarakat untuk mengembangkan sebuah ilmu dalam keagamaan tujuan utamanya, yaitu untuk mendapatkan sebuah kebenaran, agar mampu menjawab persoalan kontemporer saat ini.

Abstract

The use of digital technology in tourism development can provide major benefits for visitors, local communities and stakeholders tourist. However, it is important to integrate technology wisely and paying attention to the unique needs of each tourist destination. In Medan, there is a tourist site in the form of a palace, namely the Maimun Palace, a legacy of the Deli Sultanate. Access information about Maimun Palace and the historical objects contained in it still felt limited for visitors. Therefore, a deep breakthrough is needed eliminates this limitation. Bilingual travel pocket book with QR Code for travelers is a good idea to provide easily accessible information and useful for visitors. With a bilingual travel pocketbook equipped with a QR Code, visitors will be able to easily access the information they need to make their travel experience more informative and memorable. Therefore, this research aims to developing a Bilingual Travel Pocket Book using QR Code for tourists at Maimun Palace. The research method implemented in this study is Research & Development. Every relic of the Kingdom era that is tangible and intangibles are research objects while the research subjects in this study are domestic and foreign tourists. The data collection technique in this research is Deli Sultanate archival documentation, literary studies, and interviews with the representative of Sultan Ma’moen Al Rasyid Foundation. This research produces a travel pocket book bilingual in digital form with a QR code that can provide information to domestics and tourists abroad regarding the history, culture, and heritage of the Deli Sultanate
