Abstract

This research aims to analyze how users accept augmented reality features by using the technology acceptance model (TAM) theory to the virtual try-on feature in the Shopee application, namely Shopee BeautyCam and also to find out and explain the influence between each dimension of the technology acceptance model. The method is quantitative with conclusive research design research. The population of this study is shopee app users who have tried the Shopee BeautyCam feature. The survey was conducted on 100 respondents. Perceived Ease of Use became the dimension with the highest score in TAM analysis measurements. Based on hypothesis tests, the study states that consumer acceptance can be judged both by features and that each dimension has an influence in driving user behavior.

Abstract

The rapid growth of online transportation services in Indonesia has significantly reshaped urban mobility by offering greater convenience and efficiency. However, persistent issues such as system inaccuracies, usability problems, and information quality may affect user satisfaction. This study investigates the determinants of user satisfaction with an online transportation application by integrating the End-User Computing Satisfaction framework and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), with perceived usefulness serving as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was applied using data collected from 390 active Maxim users in the Greater Jakarta area between January and March 2025. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The results indicate that perceived usefulness has a strong and significant effect on user satisfaction. Accuracy, ease of use, and content quality significantly influence perceived usefulness, while timeliness and format do not. Furthermore, accuracy, ease of use, timeliness, and format directly affect user satisfaction, whereas content does not show a significant direct effect. These findings imply that online transportation providers should prioritize system accuracy, usability, timely information delivery, and interface design to enhance perceived usefulness and user satisfaction, thereby strengthening their competitive position.

Abstract

The commercialization of university research in the health sector is a strategic pathway for transforming academic knowledge into societal and economic value. Universitas Padjadjaran has generated numerous health-related innovations, yet its progression toward full downstream application and market entry remains uneven. This study examines the influence of institutional support, lecturer capability, and product development readiness on the success of research commercialization among academics in the health cluster. A qualitative design combining surveys and interviews was conducted from September to October 2025, involving 114 respondents selected purposively from 282 lecturers with research-based products. The findings show that commercialization success is strongly shaped by four key factors: sustained institutional support and incentive policies, collaborative networks with industry and government, lecturers’ competencies in innovation management, and research effectiveness aligned with market and regulatory requirements. These results highlight the importance of strengthening institutional ecosystems to support research downstreaming and provide practical guidance for policymakers and university leaders in fostering sustainable academic entrepreneurship in Indonesia.

Abstract

Public sector performance evaluation remains a central issue in ensuring bureaucratic effectiveness and accountability. This study aims to systematically map the evolution and intellectual structure of research on the performance assessment of Indonesian government structural officials. Using the PRISMA approach and bibliometric analysis through VOSviewer, 241 Scopus-indexed publications from 2000 to 2025 were analyzed to identify key themes, influential authors, and collaboration networks. The mapping reveals four dominant clusters: governance and organizational performance, employee competence and motivation, policy evaluation and bureaucratic reform, and digital transformation in public management. Research trends show a shift from normative and conceptual approaches toward data-driven, evidence-based evaluation models after 2018. This study offers novel insights by integrating bibliometric visualization with the Heizer performance framework, which links quality, cost, time, flexibility, and productivity as key analytical dimensions. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of how performance assessment of structural officials has evolved and highlight research gaps relevant to future policy development.

Abstract

In public-sector organizations, effective supply chain management is crucial to ensure operational efficiency and service reliability. Vendor performance and trust are key determinants of procurement success, yet systematic evaluations in higher education institutions remain limited. This study aims to measure supply chain performance in a public organization using the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model, with vendor reliability serving as a proxy for supplier trust. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed, using secondary procurement data of consumable goods collected from the Logistics Division of Universitas Padjadjaran over 2022–2024. Performance indicators included on-time delivery, number of purchase orders, contract value, and annual reliability trends, which were aggregated into key performance indicators to assess vendor consistency and operational reliability. The results show that most vendors achieved on-time completion rates above 95 percent, reflecting very high operational reliability and stable service performance. Longitudinal analysis indicates a consistent pattern of reliability, suggesting that procurement planning, contract management, and performance monitoring have been effectively implemented. These findings confirm the applicability of the SCOR framework in evaluating public-sector supply chain performance and provide evidence supporting data-driven procurement governance and continuous performance improvement in higher education institutions.

Abstract

The phenomenon of shopping is an interesting topic from a social and economic perspective. Modern developments have given rise to different perceptions and goals of shopping. One such phenomenon is compulsive buying. This article aims to explain how compulsive buying is practiced by teenagers in Bandung. This paper aims to describe concrete examples and forms of adolescent shopping behavior in Bandung, which demonstrate repetitive behavior to gain certain social status and recognition in society. This study uses Solomon's theory of compulsive buying and James Coleman's theory of rational choice, which states that compulsive buyers are those who like to spend their money on things they don't need. Compulsive buyers will feel anxious if their desires are not fulfilled or if the desired item cannot be purchased. In economic sociology, compulsive buying, which is part of the economic process of consumption, can be analyzed using James Coleman's Rational Choice Theory on the phenomenon of compulsive buying among urban adolescents in Indonesia, offering an interesting perspective: behavior that seems irrational (wasteful/impulsive) is actually a rational and planned action to achieve certain social goals. This descriptive research aims to create a systematic, factual, and accurate description or picture of compulsive buying among adolescents in Bandung City. Based on the analysis, James Coleman believes that compulsive buying among Bandung teenagers is a strategic investment for survival in a city ecosystem that prioritizes the aesthetics of creativity. They exchange their pocket money for validation as contemporary or urban youth. They seek access to creative social circles and a sense of security from the stigma of being out of date in exchange for social recognition within certain friendship circles.
