Abstract

Learning methods and media are very influential for successful learning. Many teachers at SMAN 2 Madapangga do not apply technology to participate in learning. Lack of skills in the use of technological devices to support the teaching and learning process. Lack of utilization of adequate school facilities and infrastructure to support the learning process. One of the efforts offered is to conduct training on the development of flipped learning model video-based learning media for teachers of SMAN 2 Madapangga. Training on the development of learning media based on learning videos and training on the application of assignments based on video task recordings. The aim of the dedication is to increase the potential of teachers in developing learning media based on learning videos and training in the application of assignments based on video task recordings with a flipped learning model approach. This program is carried out in three stages. The preparation stage is conducting initial observations and designing various conceptual and administrative matters. Implementation is a learning model training (flipped learning) and video-based learning media. Finally, the evaluation stage is evaluating the implementation of the beginner community service program. The training and mentoring programs for teachers at SMAN 2 Madapangga ran smoothly and achieved the set objectives. This is indicated by an increase in teacher understanding of the learning model (Flipped Learning) by 55%, an increase in skills in making learning media with MC. Power Point, Canva and KineMaster applications by 66%, and an increase in the ability to develop learning media by 77%.

Abstract

Training and mentoring in the preparation of project-based learning materials (Project-Based Learning/PjBL) which focuses on strengthening the profile of Pancasila students aims to improve the understanding and skills of teachers at SDN 1 Kaleo in implementing the independence curriculum. This program consists of several stages: socialization, training, application of e-book technology, mentoring, and evaluation involving 21 teachers. The results showed a significant increase in teachers' understanding of the Pancasila student profile from 53.8% to 95.2%, understanding of the PjBL model from 51.6% to 97.3%, and teaching materials from 54.3% to 98.3%. The introduction of e-books as an innovation in teaching materials supports independent learning, especially for students with limited school attendance. Although there were challenges in selecting relevant projects and using e-books, the focus group discussion (FGD) approach and intensive mentoring helped overcome these challenges. This training opens up opportunities for SDN 1 Kaleo to become a training model for other schools, thus expanding the positive impact of this program. Thus, this research has succeeded in increasing teachers' capacity to support the independent curriculum and forming a young generation with character according to the profile of Pancasila students.

Abstract

This community service project was motivated by the low digital literacy and limited capacity of teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Lambu in developing teaching materials based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) and deep learning pedagogy. The main objective was to empower teachers through training, workshops, and intensive mentoring to enhance their ability to design contextual, innovative learning tools aligned with the Pancasila Student Profile. The methods included pre-test, practice-based training, continuous mentoring, and post-test to evaluate teachers’ competency improvement. The results revealed a significant increase in all indicators: understanding of PjBL concepts rose from 38% to 87%, mastery of deep learning from 25% to 78%, ability to design PjBL lesson plans from 31% to 82%, digital literacy from 28% to 75%, and AI utilization from 12% to 61%. These findings confirm that the program successfully enhanced teachers’ pedagogical capacity and digital literacy while fostering the establishment of a digital learning community to ensure program sustainability.
