<![CDATA[This study aims to reveal the relationship between facial shapecorrection knowledge with practical learning outcomes makeupeducation student of Makeup and Beauty Family Welfare Departmentof the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang. This studyuses a quantitative method with a correlation type approach, with apopulation of 37 people. While the samples are all made in the samplepopulation which is 37 student class of 2014 or Total Sampling.Instrument research using a questionnaire (questionnaire) in the formof objective test that has been tested for validity and reliability. Dataanalysis was performed using the percentage level of achievement ofthe respondents (TCR), correlation using Product Moment formulafollowed by t test for basic decisions accepted hypothesis. The resultsshowed that the percentage achievement of respondents KnowledgeCorrection Face Shape variable (X) is 80% with high and variablecategories of practice learning outcomes makeup (Y) was 77% withmedium category. The relationship between the two variables are at ascore of 0760 with interpretation strong relationships, t test stating thatthe alternative hypothesis which says There is a positive andsignificant relationship between knowledge Correction Face Shapewith Learning Outcomes Practice Student Makeup Makeup Educationstudy program and Beauty KK FT UNP " received at the 95%significance level because the t count> t table (123 215> 2,021).Keywords: Knowledge correction, face shape, learning outcomes,makeup]]>

<![CDATA[following industry practice. It can be seen from the students' lack of knowledge related to the subjects of productive, affective, and psychomotor. This study aims to disclose a student's readiness skills skin competency and hair beauty in SMK 3 Payakumbuh.The research is a descriptive quantitative research, and the population in this study was a class XI student competency skills hairstyling and skin care procedures, amounting to 46 people and everyone is included in the sample (total sampling). Data collection techniques for data cognitive and affective are using questionnaires as well as the documentation of learning outcomes for the data subject teachers psychomotor.The results of this study indicates that student's readiness is low with the level of achievement of 50% of respondents in skin care system, 67% category is for students hairstyling. For both affective readiness classes are included the percentage score of 60% with a low category while for readiness skills (psychomotor) for skin care system students there are 14 people (58%) of students who did not complete the KKM and for hairdressing students there are 11 people (50%) KKM incomplete. Therefore, to support a student's readiness skills competency skin and hair beauty procedures required readiness of cognitive, affective, psychomotor order to support the activities of prakerin.Keywords: Student Readiness, industry practices.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to describe hair treatment done by the students of Family Welfare Department, Faculty University of Padang who has done hair straightening (rebonding). This research is a correlation with the population of 45 people and the samples were 45 students who have been doing hair straightening (rebonding). The sample in this study was done by using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using Likert Scale and Scale questionnaire Guttman already tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis using descriptive analysis was done by testing normality and linearity test, hypothesis testing with product moment correlation. Based on the results of the data proving that the students from the Department of Family Welfare Faculty of Engineering, University of Padang; (1) hair care knowledge possessed by students who have been doing hair straightening medium category with the percentage of 33,33%, (2) Health student who has been doing hair straightening (rebonding) including category simply by 64.12% percentage, (3) There is a significant relationship between health care done by students who have hair straightening (rebonding) with evidentiary value 0.241> 0.5 in the low category.Keywords : Knowledge Hair Treatmen After Straightening, Hair Health]]>

<![CDATA[This research was done from there have been many changes both in makeup and fashion that used bride in procession of marriage at Koto Tangah Padang. Where the bride's clothes that used to be red can be replaced with various colors. For kodek / lambak / sarong do not use songket anymore but velvet fabric which is adjusted to the color of the wedding dress and then in add the tail of the long cloth resembles the selayar at the Western wedding. This research was conducted with the aim to describe bridal makeup in District Koto Tangah Padang, West Sumatra. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative approach. Data collection in this research is done by using interview technique, observation, documentation recording, and photo. The results showed the results as follows: 1) The results of bridal makeup in Kecamatan Koto Tangah Padang is no different from Minangkabau bride makeup in general. 2) The form of clothing used by the bride in Koto Tangah Padang is not different from Minangkabau wedding dress in general. 3) The difference of fashion and bridal accessories in the past (before 2000) and currently lies from the modifications made by the wedding and customer wishes.Keywords: bridal makeup, wedding dress, bridal accessories]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to see the relationship between learning motivation with the learning outcomes of students of SMK Negeri 3 Payakumbuh on Beauty Skin Cosmetology productive subjects of students 2014/2015 entry year. This research is a quantitative descriptive-correlation. The population in this study is the entire students of class X and XI of SMK N 3 Payakumbuh in majors Beauty Skin Cosmetology who have followed a productive learning in the 2014/2015 entry year of the total 41 students which is same with the population (total sampling) because the population is less than 100. The technique of getting the data is using the questionnaire with the Liker’t scale which has been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis of the level achievement of the respondents with a percentage formula, whereas the correlation analysis using Pearson Product Moment correlation and continued with t-test to the hypothesis test. Based on the data analysis it’s obtained an average score of respondents to the achievement of the variable learning motivation stand on 61% in lower category and the learning outcomes have an average score that stand on 75 which is under the average value. Both variables relate very strongly with a correlation of 0.803 Ha hypotheses which states there is a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes in productive subjects received the 95% significance level.Kata Kunci: Motvasi Belajar, Hasil Belajar, Pelajaran Produktif, Tata Kecantikan Kulit.]]>

<![CDATA[This type of research is quasi experiment with randomized control group design pretest-posttest design that is to explain the effect of the use of avocado mask on dry facial skin care. The object of research is the residential complex community Pelindo Jondul Rawang which has dry skin. Sampling is used with purposive sampling technique conducted in volunteer amounted to 9 people. The type of data used in this study is primary data, data analysis techniques using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), followed by Duncan test to see the significant difference in the results of variance analysis. Normality and Homogeneity Analysis data is used to test analysis requirements before hypothesis testing. The results showed that in the Control Group (X1) without the use of avocado mask there was no change in skin moisture level and skin brightness level. In the experimental group 1 (X2) with the use of avocado mask the changes in skin moisture level and the brightness of the skin as well as the experimental group 2 (X3) showed a significant change in skin moisture level and skin brightness level. There is a difference in the effect of dry facial care in women aged 30-35 years using an avocado mask on three different treatments for moisture indicator and skin brightness with Significance of 0.001 <0.050. Based on the results of research is recommended to perform facial skin care with avocado as a face skin dry skin mask in women aged 30-35 years with the best usage frequency 2 x a week.Keywords: Face Care, Dry Skin. <![CDATA[This research is based of the problem is still the number of women aged 35 years and above (housewife and career woman) who did the facial skin care in Sub Benai Taluk Kuantan. This research is aimed to describe the treatment of facial skin daily and periodic housewife and career woman as well as to analyze the differences of facial skin care daily and periodic housewife and career woman in Sub Benai Taluk Kuantan. This research is descriptive quantitative comparative. The population in this research is a housewife and career woman many as 237 people, the sample is proportional random sampling that samples drawn at random sample of 71 people. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire in the form of Likert scale. The results showed Level of Achievement Respondents in facial skin care everyday housewife in Sub Benai Taluk Kuantan amounted to 70.69% in the medium category, skin care daily facial Career women in Sub Benai Taluk Kuantan amounted to 80.24% with the high category, skin care periodic face housewife in Sub Benai Taluk Kuantan at 59.07% with a bad category, and periodic facial skin care career woman in Sub Benai Taluk Kuantan of 60.51% with a bad category. The results of t test analysis showed for facial skin care everyday there is a difference between Housewives and Career women, while for facial skin care Periodically there is no difference made by the housewife and Career women in Sub Benai Taluk Kuantan, at a significance level of 5 %.Keywords: facial skin care (daily and periodic), Women of childbearing age (housewife and career woman)]]>

<![CDATA[The background of this research was concern from the low interest of SMK tourism students who monoring system beauty choosing Education Makeup and Beauty Family Welfare FT UNP, it can be seen from lower input from SMK students that is relevant with Education Makeup and Beauty. This research was aimed to reveal the interest of SMK Tourism who majoring Education Makeup and Beauty KK FT UNP. This research was quantitative descriptive. Population and sample of this research where all of the SMK tourism students in particular 6 and 7 Padang at class XII System Beauty department totaling 68 students. The technique of data collection was questionnaire, the data analisis using the percentage of data respondents for the level of a chievement of the overall everage scaves and data classification techniques using mean Ideal (MI) and Standard Deviation Ideal (SDI). Based on the result of SMK Tourism Padang student, gained affention indicator percentage of 67 % ned moderate category, motivate power indicator obtained score of 55 % had low category, and indicator of good feelings obtained score of 60 % nad low category. <![CDATA[The background of this study because it shows the low student interest in entrepreneurship that were related to the lack of student motivation. This research is a quantitative descriptive correlational . The population in this study were students majoring Beauty SMKN 7 Padang year in 2014 and 2015 amounted to 86 people enrolled in Semester July-December 2015 ( Odd ) , the sampling technique is random sampling proportional number of 36 students. Mechanical analysis of the level of achievement of the respondents with a percentage formula , test requirements analysis using normality test and linearity test while analysis using the Pearson correlation coefficient Product Moment Correlation and continued with the t test for significance analysis of the correlation coefficient and hypothesis testing. The research showed the average score of respondents to the achievement of learning motivation variable indicates the percentage of 63% with a low category . Interest in entrepreneurship show a percentage score of 58% as well with a lower category . Relations between the two variables showed a correlation coefficient of 0626 with interpretation of strong relationships , t test showed a score of 4,129 > 2,021 so Ha is received . Jenis penelitian ini yaitupre eksperimen.sampelpenelitianini6orang.Teknikpengambilandatayaitupurposivesampling.Teknikanalisadatadeskriptifdenganmenampilkannilaimean,standardeviasi,minimum dan maksimum. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji independent-sample t-test.Terdapatpengaruh hasilpengaplikasianfoundation dengan teknik airbrush terhadap hasil rias wajah cikatri pada aspek kehalusan, daya tahan, kerataan dan kesukaan observer.Pada hasil pengaplikasian foundation dengan teknik airbrush terhadap hasil rias wajah cikatri, disarankan untuk mengunakan foundation 3 lapis karena dapat menutupi bekas jerawat dengan sempurna.]]>
