Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the motivation to learn on pandemic covid-19 for grade V students at SDN Cluster V Ampenan. The type of research used in this study is quantitative descriptive research with survey research methods. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The questionnaire used in this study serves to find out how the motivation of learning students during covid-19 in a predetermined sample, while the documentation is used to obtain data on the number of students and the list of names of grade V students at SDN Cluster V Ampenan. The study subjects were 121 respondents obtained by simple random sampling techniques. The data is analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the average overall percentage score obtained from the percentage score of each indicator of learning motivation is 78.17% included in the high category, it can be concluded that the motivation to learn on pandemic covid-19 for grade V students at SDN Cluster V Ampenan is relatively high.

Abstract

The learning problems that are often encountered are the teacher's lack of mastery of the learning model and the teacher's lack of understanding of the proper use of media, causing students to not understand the subject matter. The use of learning models with the right media can increase student learning activities and outcomes. The learning model used in this lesson is Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) assisted by Learning CD media on plant parts and their functions in elementary schools. The learning process takes place referring to the seven components of CTL.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen asesmen kompetensi pada ranah afektif yang valid, reliabel, serta praktis. Instrumen yang dikembangkan berbentuk pedoman observasi untuk guru. Muatan nilai sikap yang dikembangkan yaitu kejujuran, kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, kepedulian sosial, percaya diri, cinta tanah air, kemandirian, dan toleransi. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu model yang dirancang oleh Borg dan Gall dengan langkah sebagai berikut: (1) identifikasi masalah berkaitan dengan produk yang akan dikembangkan; (2) perancangan produk awal; (3) validasi ahli terhadap rancangan produk; (4) revisi produk berdasarkan penilaian dan masukan ahli; (5) uji coba skala terbatas; (6) revisi produk berdasarkan hasil uji coba terbatas; (7) uji coba produk skala luas; dan (8) produk final berdasarkan revisi dari uji coba skala luas,. Subjek coba dalam penelitian ini yaitu ahli asesmen, ahli pendidikan karakter, dan guru kelas III, IV, dan V sekolah dasar. Data penelitian berupa data validasi ahli asesmen, ahli pendidikan karakter, serta data hasil ujicoba pengguna dan uji coba lapangan. Hasil validasi ahli, uji keraktisan produk, dan uji coba lapangan terhadap instrumen asesmen ranah afektif yang dikembangkan masuk kategori sangat valid, reliabel, dan praktis sehingga layak digunakan untuk mendata kompetensi pada ranah afektif siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Kuta Lombok Village is a village located in the Pujut sub-district, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. To reach Kuta Village, from Lombok International Airport it only takes 24 minutes for a distance of 16.4 kilometers via Jalan Raya Kuta-Lombok. This area which is located in the southern part has beautiful beaches and several attractive hills as photo locations with sparkling coastal views. The beach that is quite famous in Kuta Village is Seger beach, Seger beach is a location that is quite attractive to foreign tourists because the sea waves are very good for surfing, besides that Seger beach is also known by the outside community as the place for the bau nyale event held one once a year. However, since the Covid-19 outbreak that hit various countries in the world, including Indonesia, local and foreign tourists are not allowed to visit Seger Beach so that the facilities or infrastructure on Seger Beach become damaged and dirty. One of the efforts to improve facilities and infrastructure is rearrangement. The implementation method used is observation and direct action with the help of the community who live around Seger Beach, Ujung Lauk Hamlet, Kuta Village, Pujut District, Central Lombok. Program activities carried out include: 1) cleaning around the Seger beach; 2) painting the poles, benches and tables around the Seger beach; 3) making swings and seats; 4) making a gate for Bukit Seger; 5) and making parking lots around Bukit Seger with a thatched roof. This activity is expected to increase visitors to Seger Beach and its surroundings so that it can increase the income of the people who live there.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop a flannel board-based smart board to introduce career concepts in supporting elementary school teachers' duties in carrying out guidance and counseling. The type of research used is development research with a 4D model (define, design, develop, disseminate). The test subjects were guidance and counseling experts, media experts, elementary school teachers, and 9 students from class IV elementary school. The instruments used were expert feasibility and user practicality questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative analysis for critical data and suggestions from experts and users, as well as quantitative analysis for values ​​from experts and users. The results of the BK expert test showed that the media developed received a score of 79.5 (decent) and the assessment of media experts and practitioners obtained a score of 82.5 (decent). The field test results obtained a score of 83 (practical). From the results of expert tests and field tests, it was concluded that the smart board media developed was suitable and practical for use in counseling and career guidance in elementary schools.

Abstract

Education is one of human efforts to improve the dignity and standard of life. This improvement effort is carried out by developing competence, knowledge, attitudes, and the need for education which is the right of all citizens, and this is guaranteed by the 1945 Constitution. Implementing inclusive education is one way to make this happen. District Government Central Lombok, through the Department of Education and Culture, in collaboration with Innovation Indonesia and FKIP UNRAM, is holding a series of workshops, one of which is strengthening teacher competency in selecting and utilizing inclusive education-based learning media. The workshop was held in Gugus 1 Kec. Kopang with a total of 8 elementary schools and 32 lower class teachers as participants. Activities were carried out in October 2019 through workshops and field assistance. The results of the activity show that the objective of the activity was achieved, namely strengthening the competency of elementary school teachers in selecting and utilizing inclusive education-based media in the classroom. The pretest and posttest results show that the teacher's conceptual understanding has increased.

Abstract

Many elementary school teachers have not implemented BK in the classroom. On average, this is because teachers have not yet honed their abilities in implementing guidance and counseling in elementary schools. There are not many self-development activities or training regarding the implementation of BK in elementary schools. The same thing was also found during research at SDN 1 Kekeri. Based on this fact, the Mataram University service team took the initiative to hold a workshop on revitalizing the implementation of Guidance and Counseling in elementary schools. One of the main tasks of the tri dharma of higher education is to serve. The form of activity chosen was a workshop on strengthening the role of elementary school teachers as counselors as well as strengthening the implementation of BK in elementary schools. To achieve the objectives of counseling and training as implied in the title of this community service, several methods are used, namely lectures, questions and answers or discussions and mentoring. The result of the service is a workshop held at partner elementary schools on Friday, June 16 2023 at 09.00-12.00 WITA. The participants were 13 teachers and 1 principal of SDN 1 Kekeri. The workshop was divided into 3 sessions, namely opening, presentation of material, and questions and answers. The material presented is: (1) the concept of guidance and counseling; (2) the scope of BK in elementary school; (3) the form of guidance and counseling services in elementary schools; (4) BK management in elementary schools; and (5) challenges and supports for implementing BK in elementary schools. The activity went smoothly and the initial aim was to increase the understanding of teachers at SDN 1 Kekeri regarding the implementation of guidance and counseling services in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Show and Tell method on speaking skills. The type of research used is Quasi Experiment Design Type Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The total number of samples is 62 students. The data analysis in this study used SPSS version 22.0 for windows. The statistical test in this study used a non-parametric test (Mann-Whitney Test). Based on the results, the average value of the experimental class changed, namely from the pre-test value of 55,156 and the posttest value of 66,093. The results of statistical calculation data analysis using the test (Mann Whitney-Test) obtained a significance level of 0.000 <0.05, then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This study shows that there is an effect of the Show and Tell method (showing and telling stories) on the speaking skills of third grade students of SDN 1 SANDIK.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the capacity of elementary school teachers in implementing cooperative learning models as a strategy to support inclusive learning. The workshop was conducted by the INOVASI Regional Facilitator team and the University of Mataram in 2019, involving 14 teachers and 7 principals from Cluster I, Kopang District. The results showed an increase in teachers' understanding of the concept of inclusion and their ability to design lesson plans based on cooperative models. Post-workshop monitoring showed that some schools had begun to implement cooperative strategies in the classroom. This activity proves that practice-based training can encourage pedagogical changes that support fair and equal education for all students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the difficulties in learning to write in grade II students at SD Negeri 1 Puyung and to identify the factors causing difficulties in learning to write in grade II. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method using observation, interview and documentation techniques. According to the results of the study, the difficulties in writing in grade II are as follows. The use of capital letters and lowercase letters is still mixed, the size and shape of the letters in the writing are not proportional and inconsistent, it is difficult to hold a pencil firmly. And the following are the factors causing difficulties in learning when starting to write: Factors from students such as slower development compared to peers, IQ, motor development, and cognitive development that may be impaired. External factors that may cause are the lack of support and writing culture from the family as the student's first school.
